We come here regularly for dinner. The menu offers plenty of choice; there's something for everyone. The wine selection is very regional, which is great! The food is always delicious, and they accommodate special requests. The service is very attentive and friendly. This is exactly how I imagine a restaurant visit should be.

The restaurant impresses with excellent cuisine and consistently friendly, courteous service. Depending on the day of the week, there may be a wait—a sign of the restaurant's popularity. Reservations are definitely required, otherwise you might miss out. Only the parking situation could be a bit more convenient. Overall, however, this is a highly recommended restaurant.

Really great fine dining at a fair price.

We ate there for the first time and were surprised by how busy it was. Luckily, we had a reservation and were shown to our table. Our order was taken quickly, and the wait for food and drinks was absolutely perfect! The food was outstanding! My husband had pike-perch and I had a salad with goat cheese – both absolutely delicious! Absolutely fantastic value for money!

We stopped by here to grab a bite to eat while traveling. Within 5 minutes, we were asked six times what we wanted to eat or drink. The staff was VERY, VERY unfriendly. We left.

I've eaten there several times. I give this excellent meal an A+ with *. The food was fresh, hot, and very tasty.

Unfortunately, we didn't get to enjoy it at all because the two waiters were overwhelmed, even though there were only three tables occupied. They wanted to sit me and my husband behind a bush where you couldn't see anything – worse than sitting next to the toilet. What a disgrace! So we turned around and went to Sole DOrO.

This wasn't our first visit to Mittler's Restaurant. There's not much left to say: TOP. 5 stars. Thank you so much for the consistently great food.

We went there for dinner this evening. From the phone call (reservation) to the seating assignment, the service from the ladies present, and the meal itself, everything was great! The outdoor seating under the large umbrellas is perfect for watching the cyclists, hikers, and even cars. We'll definitely be back.

The food was solid but a bit expensive. Service was okay.

The food is truly excellent, and the service is friendly and competent. The only thing is that some dishes are a bit more expensive than they should be, in my opinion, as the culinary skills, while good, often need to be improved. Furthermore, there are extremely questionable rules when booking a table with several people (12 or more). For example, you're severely restricted and can only order side dishes that have been ordered at least twice at the table. Furthermore, if you miss a meal, you still have to pay 80% of your pre-order. I think it's a shame and a bit inflexible.

We came across the restaurant by chance at lunchtime today and ate there. All I can say is that it tasted extremely good. The service was also very nice and the food arrived very quickly after ordering. Top! My wife had a vegetarian dish, I had cordon bleu. Very well seasoned and great quality of ingredients. Next time we'll go there again when we're near there. I can only recommend the restaurant

We were there before Corona. Large bathroom, large room, everything clean. The best thing was the very, very large and good breakfast. Double room price 98 € with breakfast.

We were in this restaurant for the first time on August 2nd. We felt comfortable there right from the start. The food was very, very good. Prices for food were a little higher but absolutely justified. A big compliment to the kitchen for their great work. Also worth mentioning are all the service staff who were very friendly in all areas Always a smile on our faces, despite being very busy. Nice room, good WiFi, friendly service. When booking this hotel, we were not told that the restaurant was closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Not bad, many restaurants in the town. Good Italian within 5 minutes walking distance.

It was really harmonious! Fast service!! I'm a restaurateur in Cologne myself!!! That's why I saw it with different eyes!!! The first time here and was thrilled!!! We were here with a group of motorcyclists and also spent the night in the hotel, the meals tasted great, the service was very friendly, some things were a bit pricey. But all in all I would definitely come back here.

Waited 2 hours for unjustifiably expensive food. When the food was finally brought you noticed that the portions were extremely small and looked like they had been thrown out. Unfortunately, the expensive prices and the waiting time were not justified in terms of taste. The service was a horror after you ordered and you were completely forgotten. The kitchen was apparently so overwhelmed in an almost empty restaurant that they were unable to leave out a walnut due to a food allergy. In conclusion, the restaurant is a complete disgrace, the only thing that could have made my experience worse would be being harassed by a naked homeless person in the parking lot!!!!

As regular restaurant visitors, we have been regular customers at Mittler's Restaurant for years. The quality of all dishes is very good in terms of taste. Presentation at a high level. The different preparations of the rump steaks are a particular highlight. But all other dishes are always excellently prepared by the great kitchen team. The entire service staff is extremely customer-oriented and knows how to deal with stress. The outdoor patio has recently been beautifully remodeled. Since the last renovation phase in January, there has also been more attention paid to decoration indoors (flowers/candles, etc.). Today the hotel and restaurant are separate. The kitchen and team deserve full marks. It's good that the chef W. Mittler and co are still so young and we can enjoy this restaurant for a long time.

In a completely empty restaurant at lunchtime we were turned away because of our dog. A very old-fashioned decision by the operator, but one that we had to respect. Therefore only 1 star.

I was just in the restaurant. The menu is very well designed and the dishes are almost exclusively regional! The service is friendly and quick. The food brought (wild boar ragout) was very tasty and the portion size was also generous. Only the dining room could be a little more comfortable, which is what I miss for the last star. But it's a matter of taste and doesn't detract from the delicious food!

Hatten mit der Firma dort Weihnachtsfeier und restlos alle waren vom Restaurant absolut begeistert. Ich hatte dort das beste Rumpsteak dass ich jemals gegessen hab und obwohl wir ne recht große Anzahl von Gästen waren, war jedes einzelne Gericht, egal ob Vorspeise, Hauptgericht oder Nachtisch, liebevoll dekoriert und auch für das Auge ein Highlight. Besonders der Nachtisch hatte es mir angetan. Ich werde dort definitiv wieder essen gehen.

Wir haben dort unsere Weihnachtsfeier veranstaltet. Daher kann ich zu den Zimmern nichts sagen. Das Essen als Buffet war solide, nicht außergewöhnlich, aber das war auch nicht bestellt. Handwerklich gab es an den Speisen nichts auszusetzen. Sie haben gut geschmeckt und es war mehr als reichlich da. Der Service war freundlich, unaufdringlich, aber immer da. Von mir ein dickes Lob dafür. Alles in allem ein empfehlenswertes Restaurant.

Liegt direkt an der Kreuzung. Draußen sitzen und essen ist recht laut. Großes Zimmer. Große Dusche. Alles sauber. Kein Fahrstuhl. Bei Ankunft sollte man gleich einen Tisch fürs Abendessen reservieren. Im Gegensatz zum Essen sind die Zimmer sehr günstig. Leider kein Frühstück.

Super leckeren Wolfsbarsch mit Gemüse und Butternudeln serviert bekommen ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fünf Sterne dafür, auch alle anderen 4 Speisen meiner Gäste waren toll zubereitet, leider nur ⭐️ein Stern für die Getränke, preislich sind die offenen Weine dermaßen überteuert ( ab 6 Euro aufwärts für ein Glas Wein, das gönne ich mir dann auch nicht, ich könnte es, aber das ist kein Verhältnis zum EK. Ich kenne die Flaschenpreise der Winzer 😏. Auch ist es ein wenig unseriöses keine 0,75 Liter Mineralwasser anzubieten, statt dessen nur eine 0,5 Liter Flasche zum Preis einer 0,75 Glasflasche ( über 5 Euro für einen halben Liter Gerolsteiner Sprudel 😣) Ok wenn der Gast diese Getränkepreise akzeptiert, selbst schuld.

Ich nenne es mal gut bürgerlich, aber dennoch gehobenes Restaurant. Sehr sehr leckere Speisen, netter Service und passende Preise.

Ich mache es kurz. Wir waren schon Dutzende Male in diesem Restaurant und werden auch zukünftig immer wiederkommen. Für uns eins der besten Restaurants in dieser Gegend, sehr leckeres Essen, egal was man bestellt und auch bei den Weinen findet man immer etwas, das passt. Nicht verstehen kann ich die Bewertung eines der anderen Besucher hier. Wer hier nicht satt wird, sollte über seine Essgewohnheiten nachdenken. Tatsächlich gibt es kein Gericht, das ich nicht empfehlen kann, die Qualität ist immer überdurchschnittlich gut und auch der hier bemängelte schlechte Service ist mir meinerseits bei allen Besuchen nicht passiert. Eine ganz klare Empfehlung und ich behaupte einfach mal das ich aufgrund meiner Erfahrungen in den letzten Jahren so etwas zurecht auch behaupten darf und es nicht von einem einzigen Besuch abhängig gemacht habe.

Mittlers ist zwar qualitativ gut, aber bekannt als Restaurant der sehr kleinen, knauserigen Portionen. Mini Fleischstücke, leicht abzählbare Kroketten und sehr übersichtliche Teller.
