We got a lovely table inside today, having reserved in advance. The service was excellent; the staff were very friendly to us and our (rather large) dog, who even received treats and was offered water. The food arrived quickly and was absolutely delicious, all freshly prepared and beautifully presented. The price-performance ratio is perfectly reasonable. We will definitely eat here again on our next vacation. Thank you so much for a wonderful evening.

Unfortunately, we were completely dissatisfied and cannot recommend the restaurant. We didn't enjoy the food, the prices are relatively high, and the service was absolutely abysmal.

Had a quick lunch break here; the schnitzels were very good. We received a large portion of fries and salad too, which were also both very well prepared. Nice staff, food came quickly.

The food was delicious and the atmosphere pleasantly relaxed. You immediately feel at home and the service is friendly. Especially in summer, the terrace on the Moselle is a real highlight, one of the most beautiful in the region. We'll be back!

The food was delicious, and the outdoor seating area is also beautiful. Unfortunately, the staff, and especially the manager, were very unfriendly, which put a bit of a damper on our lovely day. I wouldn't recommend going there with larger groups; you'll probably be a bit overwhelmed. Criticism isn't accepted; instead, they get personal and blame the group for other guests not receiving their food and drinks – very unprofessional.

We ate here today with a larger group. We sat on the beautiful terrace, and with one exception, the food was truly delicious (the messed-up meal wasn't charged for), but what happened when we paid was abysmal... We weren't billed at the table; we were all told to come inside... It took 45 minutes to pay. There were 35 people in a huge line at the bar... During that time, the rest of the restaurant was completely shut down... No one could get any more drinks, no one else could pay... and the best part? The manager told the other guests it was our fault because we wanted to pay individually... that's a good way to explain your own incompetence... what a joke!

We ate on the terrace with a group of nine. Excellent service, everyone's food arrived at the same time, and everyone enjoyed it. And the atmosphere in the evening on the Moselle is fantastic. We'll be back.

We sat on the terrace with a beautiful view of the Moselle. The food was delicious. One point deducted for the food because the menu could have been a bit more extensive, with small dishes, and unfortunately, there was no cake.

We cannot judge the food and drinks, in any case several guests left the terrace without even receiving a menu. The waiter was working in an unstructured manner. Guests who came in later were helped and our 3 tables were completely ignored.

I wouldn't go there for dinner again. The terrace overlooking the Moselle is great. The cordon bleu with fries wasn't worth the almost €30 price tag. Overpriced restaurant with mediocre food and a beautiful location.

This was our first time here. The food was delicious and of high quality, and the quality was well worth the price. We would happily return and highly recommend the restaurant. The view of the Moselle from the terrace is also fantastic!

NB; you can't pay by card here!!!! I'm trying to order a hamburger in my best German for my son who only wants a burger with ketchup and cheddar. Unfortunately she misunderstood me and only brought bread with ketchup and cheddar. That wasn't bad at all, but the lady got so angry. Very unnecessary because we weren't angry either. Very unpleasant and unprofessional. In the end you sit on a terrace where the angry lady no longer looks at you and you are charged for the hamburger with fries and all, even though we didn't have any.

Food delicious and not too expensive either. Staff was nice, polite and accommodating. We'd be happy to come back when we're nearby.

We would have liked to sit on the terrace today in the nicest weather. Unfortunately the tables were covered in crap. We would have sat on the wall and had some fries. But because of the grumpy boss's flexibility like an anvil, that didn't work either.

The Isseler Hof is an absolute highlight in Schweich and the surrounding area! The restaurant not only impresses with excellent food, but also with a wonderful ambience. Everything is just right here – from the quality of the food to the friendly service. For me, the Isseler Hof is one of the best restaurants in the region. I can recommend it without reservation and am already looking forward to my next visit!

We went there for dinner with friends. Mussels very tasty 😋 Unfortunately 3 people chose pork loin, which was unfortunately not edible. The meat was completely dry and burnt. They had to pay the full price but got an espresso and a cream pudding on the house. Unfortunately that didn't fill me up 🥴

As is often the case in this business, a lot of visitors come all of a sudden even though you are not prepared for them. This is where experience shows. We were served in a friendly manner, the food came in a reasonable amount of time (not frozen food but freshly prepared) and was very tasty and the quantity was absolutely sufficient. Our Hind was also well looked after. We were very satisfied and would like to come back.

Pretty restaurant located a little above directly on the Moselle. We didn't eat anything, but the menu read well. Great view and very tasty wine. This is a good place to stop off, especially on a bike tour.

We had reserved a table for 6 p.m. The sun was shining, perfect weather at 24C. We wanted to sit on the beautiful terrace, but were denied this. An employee pointed out that everything was still wet because it had rained at midday and if she did something there, other guests might want to do it too. I have to say: I'm stunned! I said if they gave me a rag I would wipe the two chairs and the table myself. Unfortunately, this suggestion was not accepted either. Then we left again. This is not customer-oriented behavior. Too bad.

For a little refreshment in the afternoon

On a bike ride we only stopped to make up for the loss of fluids. The service was very friendly and helpful, also quick. Very tasty looking dishes were being carried around us, which caused great enthusiasm among the other guests. Too bad it was too early for us to eat. I think we missed something there.

Beautiful restaurant with a great terrace. Delicious wine and food and very nice waiters. Unfortunately, the boss spoiled the visit a little with her unfriendly manner. Because it was very sunny and we had put up 2 small parasols and the boss forbade this in a resolute, unfriendly manner due to the wind. We were absolutely positively surprised! We stopped at this lovely restaurant for lunch on a bike tour. The view of the Moselle is beautiful, the ambience makes an upscale impression and all the dishes were extremely tasty, attractively presented and also very good value for money.

Invited during a birthday, the restaurant was only reserved for us and therefore my opinion is not very objective.

After an Easter walk in the Meulenwald nearby, this restaurant was the next destination. We saw it online and reserved a table in advance. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant has been renovated, has new interior, new tables and chairs and a very nice new bar area. The old pictures on the Internet definitely need to be updated. The food was incredibly tasty. The service was really nice and there was a great view on top of that! We'd love to come back.

Food was highly recommended: we had veal liver “Berlin style”, Eifel pork cutlet and South American rump steak - everyone was very satisfied. Reasonable price-performance ratio, excellent visual appearance. There's a small deduction in the ambience if you have the table next to the bar, where loud regular conversations can be heard in the evenings. Bottom line, definitely happy again!

Wir waren heute zu viert in dem Lokal ,nachdem ein Pächterwechsel stattgefunden hatte.Das Restaurant wurde sehr schön renoviert .Der Service war freundlich und schnell .Zum Essen gab es nichts auszusetzen,wir hatten alle Flieten mit Pommes u Dips ,diese waren Perfekt ! Der Preis war angemessen ,Resüme wir werden öfters hingehen .

Alles, wie es sein soll. Uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen.

Het weer zat niet mee deze avond, dus het terras met uitzicht op de Moezel was geen optie. We hadden gereserveerd en dat bleek noodzakelijk. We namen een Bitburger pils en een Grauburgunder om te beginnen. Voor disgenoot het Isselerhof Pänchen en voor mij een Garnalenpannetje met Mediterrane groenten, beiden met friet. We hebben genoten van onze gerechten, de gamba's kwamen in de hete olie samen met de groenten, daardoor gaarden deze nog lang na, waardoor de laatsten net iets te gaar, desalniettemin, dik in orde. Voor lief nog een ijscoupe na, die ook met smaak werd werd verorberd.

Schöner Biergarten mit großen Bäumen und Moselblick. Ausgesprochen nettes und hundefreundliches Personal. Wir wurden gut beraten und prompt bedient, obwohl rund 80 Personen auf der Terrasse waren. Reservierung empfehlenswert.

Ich kann für mich immer wieder sagen " ich würde freundlichen bedient, das Essen war gut , und da es ja auch kein schnell Restaurant ist muss man halt auch warten können " .

Ich weiß ja nicht welche Leute sich immer beschweren und sagen die Bedienung wäre unfreundlich, würde mal gerne sehen wie die Damen oder Herrn das unter diesen Umständen ( Hitze ) bewältigen würden. In meinen Augen eine Frechheit wenn ich da bedienen würde ich würde euch was anderes sagen glaubt es mir. Ich war bei der Chefin schon im alten Restaurant und jetzt im Issler Hof und immer zufrieden, aber es gibt ja immer solche die Zuhause nix zu sagen haben. Mädels und Jungs macht weiter so ihr macht einen tollen Job. Man kann es halt nicht allen gerecht machen.
