Hotel - Restaurant Leinenhof in Schweich

We were greeted very warmly and shown to our table. There we found a beautifully and thoughtfully set table. The breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired, and there was always a server on hand to ensure we had everything we needed. A very generous buffet with no special requests. We would love to come back and will gladly recommend the Leinenhof.

We highly recommend this restaurant! Excellent food, consistently friendly service, and a cozy atmosphere.

It was our first time eating there, and we were very satisfied with the food and the service. I can highly recommend it!

Last week, after a very long time, we ate at the Leinenhof again, as we were passing through. My daughter had her wedding there years ago. The food was still excellent, and the service was very nice and friendly. But what bothered me enormously was the stark ambiance in the dining room. No Christmas decorations or any sense of comfort... It had a real train station atmosphere in there. A bit more coziness would have been really appropriate. It doesn't invite you to linger... I found that very off-putting. I was somewhat disappointed.

I used to eat here with my parents as a child, and now I'm back with my own son. The quality has been consistently excellent for years, with a super delicious Jägerschnitzel and perfect fries! They often have seasonal dishes, especially the flour dumplings from Grandma's kitchen. The service is also very friendly. What I'd particularly like to highlight is the playroom, which also serves as a changing/breastfeeding room. A quiet place to breastfeed and a changing room outside the women's restroom are still far too rare. Thank you for that!

We spontaneously ate at the restaurant during our short break. The food came quickly and the portions were generous. Very good value for money. The service was very friendly and always had a few nice remarks/sayings. We weren't able to test/review the rooms. I would recommend the restaurant to everyone.

Good value for money. This allowed me to give my 17-year-old son his own room, which is important at this age. It was also nice and quiet for my mother, which is exactly how I experienced the overnight stay.

We were there as a group. Everything went perfectly despite the restaurant being full (reservations recommended). The service was friendly and attentive, and quick. The menu is very concise and features mostly simple dishes. In my opinion, it lacks a certain finesse. The dining room is large and also quite noisy. However, the food was fresh and delicious, and the prices are reasonable. Therefore, I recommend it if you prefer classic cuisine.

We were there spontaneously for lunch. Even though we didn't have a reservation (you should have one in advance, it's completely unproblematic via the website) we were offered a table. The lunch menu was extensive and really delicious. The service perfect! We'll be back (with reservation) :-) Since the fitters who worked for us, I can also describe the rooms as very good. Our guests were extremely satisfied.

A very good, inexpensive hotel. The rooms are great, very large, very comfortable, very clean. The hotel is located just outside the city near a motorway entrance, which is a bit noisy, but you can still sleep well. There is a place to park bicycles, for example. The staff is very friendly. What bothered me a bit: Check-out is a bit early at 10 a.m. This wasn't communicated and isn't on the website. The prices on the website don't seem to be completely up to date either. Nevertheless, I recommend this hotel.

We (4 young-at-heart men between 63 and 73) were very satisfied with the friendly ladies from the service with a great home-style dinner and can only recommend the Leinenhof! Price-performance was okay. We will come back!

We have tried several times to get something to eat. It says on the internet that the kitchen is open until 8:30 p.m. Then it can't be that you're told at 7:45 p.m. that the kitchen is closed because the boys are tired... Unfortunately, in my opinion, it's not very professional or you have to change the times on the website. It's a shame but it has to be said!

Stopped at the restaurant for lunch. The food was delicious and service was very welcoming and accommodating. The waitress explained the menu and showed me where there was a kids play area and baby change.

We were in the restaurant with 4 people. A very nice, young man served us and took care of us. Food came promptly and without a long wait. We had four different dishes and everything tasted very delicious!!! We asked several times whether everything was to our satisfaction - and it was!! Prices are ok. Highly recommended, we would love to come back! 👍👍

We came here on a Saturday without a reservation (you should definitely do it 😉) based on a recommendation. Nettes Ambiente. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältniss ist mehr als ok. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder.

We celebrated a wonderful birthday in the hall with 50+ friends and family. The food was excellent, the service was extremely nice and friendly and very attentive. No guest was missing anything. The hotel rooms are relatively simple and the furnishings have some experience; everything works and is super clean. Al in Al: highly recommended for your celebrations!

Seeeeeeeehr lecker! Mich freut es, dass es dort auch traditionelle Gerichte, wie Rinderzunge angeboten werden. Preis/Leistung außerordentlich gut. ...nur sollte man im Voraus reservieren. Wir hatten Glück, da wir nur zu zweit und sehr früh zum Abendessen dort waren.

Nette Terrasse, freundliche Bedienung Essen geht so.

In dit restaurant krijg je nog echt goed eten uit de Duitse keuken. Heerlijke vleesgerechten, lekkere groenten en sausjes! Keurige porties voor normale prijzen. Maar vooral: zeer vriendelijke, correcte bediening met een grote lach! Hier komen we heel graag terug.

Es war kein Urlaub, sondern nur ein Familienessen, aber das hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Sowohl die Leistungen von Service und Küche waren wirklich hervorragend. Und das Ambiente ist gegenüber den Achtzigern wesentlich heller und freundlicher. Es war eine angenehme Atmosphäre und gelungene Feier. ☆☆☆☆

Wir waren da auf einer Tagung ,sehr freundliche Bedienung, feine Schnittchen und guter Kuchen.

Das Restaurant Leinenhof hat uns voll und ganz überzeugt. Beim Hereinkommen wurden wir freundlich begrüßt, wir konnten uns einen Platz aussuchen und wurden auch rasch bedient. Das Restaurant ist sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Der Service war freundlich und schnell. Die Auswahl bietet für jeden etwas, es gibt auch eine Saisonkarte mit Besonderheiten. Der Preis ist sehr fair für die großen Portionen und das leckere Essen. Hervorzuheben ist die gute Weinauswahl, auch schon für die „einfachen“ Weine beginnend bei 3€ das Glas. Wir können den Leinenhof uneingeschränkt empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder.

Wir kamen durch Zufall in dieses Restaurant. Das Essen dort ist einfach vorzüglich. Wenn wir das nächste mal wieder Urlaub an der Mosel machen, werden wir auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.Vielen Dank nochmals.

Wir fahren immer extra von Trier nach Schweich, weil das Essen im Leinenhof mega lecker ist. Eine tolle Auswahl an frischen, ehrlichen Gerichten. Der Service ist richtig lieb und trotz viel Arbeit gibts immer noch freundliche Worte vom Personal. Den Leinenhof kannte ich schon als Kind. Es gibt hier auch viele Feiern und Busse, die hier halten. Eine logistische Meisterleistung für Küche und Service. Trotz der Größe fühlen wir uns immer wohl. Wer richtig lecker essen möchte, sollte es probieren. Auch der Mittagstisch ist absolut empfehlenswert. Einfach ausprobieren...es lohnt sich.
