MISIK Koreanische Feinkost in Stuttgart

We visit the restaurant regularly and sometimes even pick up takeaway food. It's simply delicious and, as far as we can tell, most likely very authentic. The only downside is that it's quite cold in the restaurant in winter, so you have to keep your winter jacket on.

Our group was dining and one of our chairs collapsed after just a few minutes, causing my friend to fall and injure her arm on the table — not only painful, but humiliating. At the very least, a restaurant should offer safe, sturdy seating. This was unacceptable. Food was very good though.

Very delicious food and friendly, attentive service. We had a reservation, and everything was perfect that evening. I really appreciated the attention to detail, from the menu to the beautifully arranged dishes and tableware. The outdoor seating area in front of the restaurant was a bit sunny; perhaps larger umbrellas would help?

Great decor, nice outdoor lighting, and friendly service. I had a few minor glitches with my order, but after I informed the owner, he went out of his way to rectify it. I highly recommend the glass noodle dish with beef or tofu, as well as the Yuzu Spritz.

The food is delicious and beautifully presented. The menu offers a good selection, including vegan and meat options, and the dishes are flexible. The location is nicely decorated, but since the restaurant is usually very busy, it can get quite noisy. Reservations are recommended; additional seating is available outside in nice weather.

We were here with colleagues after a company event. The food, service, and quality were all excellent. The selection of dishes is quite extensive and leaves nothing to be desired. We'll be back. The service was good and friendly. Everything was freshly prepared. We can fully and unreservedly recommend MISIK.

Six of us and the entire family came here for Sunday dinner and everyone really enjoyed it. The selection is varied: suitable for vegetarians and meat lovers alike. The portions are also very generous, which is not always usual for such fancy restaurants. We would love to come here again!

I was there before 2 years ago. At that time, the Food quality was pretty good. But this time I’m shocked. The quality of food is poor . It only suit the foreigners. The real korean food even tge kimchi in comparison to other korean restaurants was bad and the Price is too much. It’s okay to pay 💰 but in comparison to food “No”. Not a good combo Restaurant for those who want real Korean taste Food🥹

We got fried chicken to take away and were very satisfied. The restaurant is modern and inviting - we also really like the option of sitting outside. The service staff were friendly and the food came quickly. The taste was really great: fresh, tasty and well seasoned. The chicken could have been a little crispier for our taste, but that's complaining at a high level. A small drawback was the fish skin on the rice - not our thing, but it was easily pushed aside and is certainly a matter of taste. Overall, definitely recommended!

Simply SENSATIONAL! What Jungmi has built is of great value and enriches Stuttgart's gastronomic offering immensely. Everything is homemade, fresh, with the highest quality ingredients. We Stuttgarters can count ourselves lucky that Jungmi showed enough passion and perseverance to be able to offer us great Korean home cooking, despite a system that was extremely hostile to the self-employed and innovative. On various trips I was able to experience the full enjoyment of food in Asia. After that, no Asian restaurant could meet the increased expectations. Until we landed in MISIK. Personally, I can only recommend the restaurant! No pushy Asian atmosphere (it doesn't exist in Asia either, except in the tourist shops), real food from Korea, super friendly staff and reasonable prices.

Not only is MISIK one of my favorite restaurants in Stuttgart but whenever my family visits it’s the first place they want to go (recommend making reservations). I’ve ordered the Mandu, Shitake Japchae, and Bingsu on repeat, they’re all delicious. If you’re a tea drinker - try the Daechu Cha and/or Maesil Cha. And don’t miss out on getting a glass of kimchi to go! The service has always been friendly and attentive and the minimalistic interior design is gorgeous. Just writing this review is making me hungry for some more Japchae. 🤩

Beautiful restaurant where everything is just right. From the very friendly staff to the excellent food with a large vegan selection. The mandu were particularly good, but the bibimbap and tofu jorim set with various side dishes (e.g. cucumber kimchi) are also highly recommended. An absolute highlight was the matcha and black sesame ice cream - the best vegan ice cream I have ever tasted.

Today we were in Misik for the first time and it was fantastic! The interior and atmosphere was unique that you can't see or feel anywhere else. The food is high quality and very tasty. The service and the owner were very friendly and helpful. We will be back and can definitely recommend it.

Very authentic and healthy Korean restaurant. Everything is made fresh and with love. I can 100% recommend this place and especially the vegan sesame ice cream and the matcha set (bingsu and tiramisu). The interior is also very aesthetically pleasing! :)

Misik is such an aesthetic and authentic restaurant that I would heartily recommend to everyone. The interior design welcomes you with great class and a style that is unlike any other restaurant or trend. The service itself is incredibly authentic and competent and especially the food! You get the feeling that you are being cooked for by a Korean family and at a professional level

Once and never again!!! The food was served cold and unfortunately I found hair in my sauce which was very unpleasant. For the overpriced price, all of this was definitely not justified. Unfortunately, the manager of the restaurant wasn't particularly friendly either, which made the overall experience even more disappointing 🤮

Because of the previous reviews that it wasn't heated enough, I put on a thick sweater... and what can I say... I was very warm. The food was very good and nicely presented and the service was friendly. We had a lovely evening.

Worth recommending in almost every season. Food is really delicious. But if in winter, out of 20 guests, three wear jackets, three leave their wool hats on and 5 people wear their scarves, then someone in service should recognize that heating is appropriate. Very uncomfortable. Too bad

Unfortunately, as a Korean, I can't recommend ordering Korean food here. The dishes were neither authentic nor well prepared. The Korean Fried Chicken was particularly disappointing. The chicken had nothing to do with real KFC - it was more of the soft, spongy version that you would find in Vietnamese snacks. The bulgogi had the wrong seasoning. Too much ginger, too little garlic – a completely wrong balance. You would never eat it like that in Korea. Except that the texture of the meat was too powdery and falling apart. For starters we had Yachaejeon. Unfortunately, that was more of a pancake. It's a shame, because I found the atmosphere very nice and the staff very friendly and hard-working. If you expect authentic Korean cuisine, you should look elsewhere. Unfortunately, this isn't worth it.

For us one of the best Korean restaurants! The service is super friendly, you get advice and none of the dishes disappoint - especially not the bibimbap and Korean fried chicken. And the kimchi and fermented radish are to die for. And the starters? Just like a dream, whether the vegetable pancakes or the dumplings - it is indescribably delicious! Have been there a total of 4 times now.

I'm surprised at the good reviews. It's been a long time since I've had such bad Korean food. KimChi, almost unfermented, other Banchan as a mini portion and also no longer very authentic, Bulgogi is practically unrecognizable in terms of appearance and taste, upon request you can't even get a Makgeolli straight up, only as a cocktail. What started well turned out badly.

Modern flair. Delicious dishes without additives such as glutamate etc. Very friendly boss and courteous service. Gladly again.

Korean soul food. Finely tuned, a new world of flavors! Very nice and attentive service who is happy to give advice and explain everything. You can sit, eat, talk and linger in peace.

I had the Bulgogi set. The bulgogi itself was really delicious, especially the meat. The reason for the 3 star rating is the kimchi. This has absolutely nothing to do with the original Korean kimchi. Like sauerkraut, kimchi is prepared using lactic acid fermentation and tastes correspondingly sour. The kimchi here tasted like Chinese cabbage that was cut into strips (that's not authentic either) and mixed with gochugaru on the same day. Even dm's own brand kimchi tastes better here. Kimchi is the Korean national dish, this should be well known in a corresponding restaurant where a main course costs just under €26. Update 5.12. in response from the owner: You write that I had a radish kimchi that was not fermented because it was prepared the same day. This makes no sense since kimchi is prepared by fermentation as described above. So if I ordered a dish that said kimchi was served with it, I would have expected this too.

Nice, clean place with good food and quick service. They are a little pricey, but I feel like it was worth it. The drink was fresh with rosemary, sliced ginger, and the citrus. The bibimbap was very filling and you were able to use as much or as little of the sauce as you want.

Attention to all celiac disease people! In my opinion, the allergen labels on the homepage and in the restaurant are not correct! Unfortunately I had a very bad experience there. In addition, in my opinion, the handling of the situation was substandard and not customer-friendly, as lawyers etc. were threatened and previous recessions were deleted.

Authentic taste and great service

This is an absolutely lovely place. It’s a beautiful space with some of the best service that I have ever experienced - warm, helpful but never stiff or over-attentive. Added to which the food was fantastic (delicate, complex, but generous and full of love and care) All of which made for an atmosphere that buzzed with happiness. In short this was one of our best nights out in ages! Also great for vegans and meat eaters alike

17€ for a simple 잡채 which is more than the price announced online and on the menu, maybe they charged extra for service? Waited 1hr We arrived at 6pm and got food at 7pm, the restaurant wasn’t even crowded. As a Korean I can say than this food is very overpriced

The MISIK has a great ambience, not least due to the high-quality, reserved but tasteful interior design. A nice detail are the books on Korean cuisine that were on the wall right next to our table. The service was quick and attentive. And not just at the beginning, but throughout the entire evening. In addition to the usual suspects like bibimbap, bulgogi or Korean fried chicken, the menu also includes dishes like mandu or jache jeon. In addition to the classic recipes and dishes, there are also vegan versions that are clearly marked on the menu. Desserts with matcha or bingsu (the shaved ice that has been a hit in many Asian countries for years) round off the offering. In terms of taste, every dish we ordered impressed me across the board. The quality and fresh preparation of the food was also clearly noticeable. The difference in taste between the Mandu was simply remarkable. And our bibimbap was still sizzling audibly when it was placed on the table. Overall, it was a great evening at MISIK, where we felt comfortable and had an excellent meal. And the price was absolutely reasonable. 감사합니다

Nice little restaurant, the girls in service were good, the food was solid. Because of the open design, I find it a bit noisy when it's full. The taste felt a bit too expensive, especially the bulgogi was surprisingly colorless. If you put some oil in the stone bowl and heat it in the oven, you get a delicious, crispy layer of rice at the bottom and I would spice up the gochujang a bit.

Really very tasty. I spontaneously got a spot too. The service was really very friendly and that kimchi! So incredibly tasty and perfectly spicy, I would have loved to take a whole glass with me. Had the tofu bibimbap and hola that was a decent portion, you get small bowls of kimchi, radish and soup with it.

Super delicious Korean restaurant! I had the Dubu Jorim Set vegan with an additional delicious seaweed salad. As a starter we had vegan mandus, which we can also highly recommend. We'll definitely be back!!!

Korean fried chicken was okay but the portion was too small and too expensive.

1. Food: with the price you can find much better Korean food in Stuttgart. Simple food less choice. Simple taste: I ordered the chicken bowl set, the cabbage was in the whole piece without having to be cut off. it was too hard to bite (photo evidence). Portion: Chicken Bow with hardly any meat (photo proof) 2. Service: unfriendly 3. Price: for the arguments in point 1, €30 per person is far too expensive.

We had a subpar experience today that doesn't match the good reviews. The waitress was stressed and showed us that. This is possible in a run-of-the-mill restaurant, no problem. But today's service doesn't match the beautiful ambience and the prices. Both main courses were nothing special in terms of taste. Just not much taste, I really would have expected a lot more. Not particularly sophisticated either. There's just no taste. Poor value for money. No recommendation, we won't go there again.

Very high quality dishes, deliciously prepared and great service. On our last visit we had Mandu classic as a starter, main courses: Tofu Dolsot Bibimbap and Bulgogi Dolsot Bibimbap and Bingsu as dessert. We were thrilled with all the dishes and can absolutely recommend MISIK!!!

The best Korean restaurant I’ve found so far in Stuttgart. They do not have the classics like kimchi jjigae but everything else I tried was authentic and delicious. The good thing is that they do not serve grill on the table so the restaurant does not end up smelling of grease. Parking can be a challenge but there’s a public car park garage nearby.

I only can suggest the Bingsu even though it is taste average but doesn’t have another choice for Bingsu in Stuttgart. 9,50€ for Bingsu is reasonable price. Ordered bulgogi bibimbap and it was super tasteless and unflavoured. So bland that not worth the money. Japchae with shittake is average taste. The main menu is so little and overpriced. The service is fast and good.

I go to Misik quite often and have never been disappointed. Food is always super delicious. Atmosphere is very pleasant and the service is top.

The atmosphere is really very pleasant and harmonious. The only disturbing factor was the bar table at which guests were greeted when entering the restaurant, which was totally chaotic and cluttered. The table was beautiful and the light was harmonious. After ordering, we quickly received the starters, which were very good. But then came the main course, which was served before we had finished the starters. For all three of us, this was rather bland and tasteless and nothing compared to Korean food we have eaten in the past. The bibimbab was really tasteless. Unfortunately, the service also left something to be desired. The waitresses sometimes didn't know what the food was when we asked a question, the main course was served far too quickly and after we were finished it wasn't cleared away until we asked for the bill, and they didn't even ask if we liked it , even though one of us hadn't even eaten half of his dish.

Very tasty, authentic Korean food.

We decided to spend an evening at MISIK because of the great reviews. The restaurant is nicely decorated, but the seating is quite tight. When we arrived, the restaurant was almost completely full and therefore very noisy. A relaxed conversation between four people was hardly possible. The starters were tasty, the main courses had little taste. The service was unfortunately bad: one of our starters was forgotten and we only received it after asking, our main courses (4 pieces) were not ready at the same time, the wrong drinks were brought to the table several times, etc. In addition, the service was not particularly attentive, seemed overwhelmed and we waited a total of 1.5 hours for our main course. On the positive side, there are several vegan dishes and non-alcoholic aperitifs. However, for the reasons mentioned above, we would not visit MISIK again.

We got a table at short notice and had a lovely and delicious evening here! The food was very tasty and the service was very attentive and friendly! The ambience is really nice, but I would change something about the acoustics! This is just a small note on my part, which will definitely not lead to a deduction in the rating! We'll come back and try new dishes 👍
