Don't let the name "doner" fool you. Forget the döner kebab you eat in Turkey :) Personally, it's a dish I rarely choose whenever I'm in Europe. It's far from the classic Turkish döner kebab. The sauces are good, the salads are delicious. The attentiveness is good. The service is fast and clean.

Juicy meat, crispy flatbread, delicious sauces, and fresh vegetables. The result is the perfect doner kebab. Prepared by very friendly people in a pleasant atmosphere that hardly resembles a snack bar. Special requests are no problem, and vegans and vegetarians are also catered for here. P.S.: The small doner kebab is "normal" size, while the large one is simply half a flatbread filled with love.

Miran is an excellent Turkish restaurant that impresses with authentic dishes and great value for money. The food is fresh, aromatic, and offers a wide selection of classic Turkish delicacies. The grilled specialties and homemade dips are particularly recommended. The service is friendly and attentive, which makes the visit even more enjoyable. A gastronomic establishment whose exaggerated clinical cleanliness nips any rustic snack bar charm in the bud, while the wine list reveals a monotonous wasteland of uninspired mass-produced goods. No Syrah, no terroir, instead flat interchangeability. The only bright spot: the sanitary facilities, whose impeccable elegance is reminiscent of a star hotel. But who goes to kebab for the washroom ambience?

You can eat very well here. Everything tastes delicious and prepared right in front of his eyes. Depending on the time of day it can of course take longer, for me it took less than 5 minutes. I would go here again at any time.

Where should I start 🤔 The meat is fresh, juicy and very delicious, a wide selection of sauces and salads, fresh bread and flatbread, super nice staff, a very nice atmosphere in the shop and if the weather permits you can sit outside. So all in all, I have never eaten such a delicious kebab anywhere else. My brother and his wife were visiting Germany and booked a hotel in Düsseldorf, but they drove to Essen every day to eat the kebab.

We had a “small” kebab and a “large” kebab plate. We were very happy with the portions and everything was very fresh, the yogurt sauce was very tasty and the staff were friendly. It was delicious. We paid 25 euros including drinks. We are very satisfied. I wish we had such quality in Lindau.

Reception was rough and loud. Kebab at €8 at a sophisticated level. The chicken kebab was tasteless, no roasted aromas, no salt, hardly any spiciness, the grilled vegetables were too fatty, the kebab was torn in all places,... out of many bad kebabs in my life in the top 3. Congratulations!

Honestly the best kebab. I love it. But slowly it's not fun anymore. First the prices rise, now the portions are getting smaller.

Unfortunately, the brazen game of price increases also plays a part. Energy prices have fallen again and wholesale prices for meat and vegetables have not risen nearly as much. Simply a rip-off under the guise of the buzzword inflation. I also had a hair in my kebab... 7% VAT still applies to products that are consumed away from home.

I've been a customer for years and it can't be that they increase the price of a kebab from €5 to €9 within 2 years, that's a real disgrace, so many people don't buy from you anymore, it's a real shame!

Prices are outrageous and do not match the quality

The Iskender Kebab was more than plentiful, but I doubt that the preparation was really impressive. Little toasted bread, tasteless tomato sauce on top, kebab and then the yoghurt. And without spice. I would have expected sumac as a minimum.

The prices increased several times within a very short period of time. And now recently from €7 to €8 for a small kebab. Incredible. What many people don't know: The VAT was originally 19% and was only temporarily reduced to 7% to relieve the burden on people and restaurateurs. Unfortunately, this reduction was not passed on to the end customer, i.e. the prices remained the same and the additional income was put into their pockets. Now the regular rate is back to 19% and everyone is complaining and raising prices at the expense of the end customer. Absolute impudence!

8€ für ein kleines Dönersandwich.

The food is delicious, we've been there often! But honestly, the prices are exorbitant! Yes, the VAT etc. has increased but honestly guys, I know at least 3 very good kebab shops that haven't changed the price or have changed minimally, that are of great quality and we go there now too. The prices you have, for a simple soup, even pide, etc., are what I pay in a good restaurant. You have good quality, great service but for me it is not a restaurant but a snack bar. It's a shame that the prices had to go up so high, but now we go to the restaurant more often. Apart from that, everything else is okay.

Leckere Mercimek Suppe (Linsen) 😋 Ich komme gerne zu Euch zum Essen 👍🏼 Einziges Manko: Der Preis der Suppe ist von 6.50 auf 7.50 Euro gestiegen mit der Begründung "höhere MwSt". Das finde ich happig für eine Suppe. Darüber war ich enttäuscht!

Das Essen dort war sehr lecker. Das Personal war auch freundlich, den einen Stern gibt es als Abzug, da die Toilette sehr schmutzig war und ich da leider nicht gehen konnte. Für mich allerdings ein Geund dort nicht mehr hin zu gehen.

Döner kleiner geworden UND noch dazu teurer. Nichtmehr gerechtfertigt. kleiner Döner kostet hier 8€ und ein sehr kleiner Dönerteller 12 €. Wenigstens die Portionen und Beilagen hätten beibehalten werden können. Nein Danke

Früher sehr regelmäßig hier gegessen. Die Preissteigerungen innerhalb weniger Monate sind in den Maßen (trotz Corona und Inflation) aber nicht nachvollziehbar.

Bestes Döner in Rüttenscheid. Großes Döner ist echt riesig und sehr lecker. Gute Fleischqualität. Gegrilltes Gemüse anstatt Salat auf dem Döner ist möglich. Zum dort essen leider etwas klein und dadurch zu unruhig. Außerdem sind die Getränke völlig überteuert.

Passte alles. Salat frisch, Fleisch saftig und Soßen sehr gut. 5*

The Dona is excellent whether chicken or lamb. I love it that the saj bread is always freshly made Their baklava is awesome with the perfect texture. I have so far always experienced friendly and helpful service.

Wrr behauptet das das hier etwas mit 'echtem döner' was zutun hat, der hat keine Ahnung was einen echten Döner ausmacht! Gepresstes Großhandel Fleisch, einmal und nie wieder!

Das Personal ist freundlich, das Ambiente voll in Ordnung und das Essen vorallem super lecker! Werde ich nun öfters besuchen und auch weiter empfehlen.

It is a Döner small restaurant.You can sit and eat or take away.Mostly working professionals during evening come and take their small meals from there.

Schon dutzende male dort gegessen, immer zufrieden raus gegangen. Das Personal ist immer gut gelaunt und freundlich. Ein Highlight ist die Türk. Pizza, die mit dem frisch gebackenem Brot wirklich einmalig schmeckt.

Geschmacklich definitiv bester Döner auf der Rü. Selbst abends um fünf vor elf unter der Woche noch frisches leckeres Essen, blitzebank sauberes Lokal und freundliche Bedienung. Der große Döner ist riesig und sein Geld echt wert.

Schade das ich hier nicht 10 von 5 Sternen geben kann. Extrem gutes Essen für ein angemessen Preis. Super Service, schnelle Zubereitung. Empfehlung: Dürüm Döner!

Immer lecker und gleich bleibenden Qualität, alle Mitarbeiter Immer Freundlich. Ich habe nur ein paar wenige Sterne abgezogen, weil mir nicht gefallen hatte, dass bei meiner Bestellung zum Abholen(große gemis. Vorspeise), das Essen in eine Packung gepackt war ohne Trennung.....wenn man alles zsm schmeißt, weicht alles durch und auf, fand ich nicht so gut. Aber ansonsten alles super👍👍👍👍

Das Essen ist wirklich gut, das Personal nett. Die Einrichtung ist etwas steril, aber man sitzt ganz gut, bei schönem Wetter auch draußen.

Ich war dort schon öfters essen. Die Qualität ist immer sehr gut, alles frisch und das Fleisch ist auch immer top. Die Preise sind absolut ok für das was man bekommt, ich kann den Laden nur empfehlen 👍🏻

Nach dem Essen kriegt man immer Magenschmerzen.

Bei Miran hole ich meinen Döner am liebsten. Es ist immer frisch, lecker und die Portionen sind gut. Auch der Service ist toll. Die Leute sind nett und versuchen alle Wünsche zu erfüllen.

Ein sehr schöner leckerer Falafel Tasche. Gemüse war frisch. Der Falafel war gut gewürzt. Selbst der Döner schmeckt da sehr gut. Nach der Arbeit gehe ich gerne zur Miran um mein Hunger zu stillen. Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Von nun an, mein Lieblingsladen in Rüttenscheid.

Wir haben den Imbiss einige Male aufgesucht und waren immer zu 100% zufrieden. Das Personal ist sehr (ehrlich) freundlich, die Speisen sind frisch und schmecken richtig gut, die Getränke erfreulich kalt, es ist immer sauber und das Ambiente so, wie man es sich in Rüttenscheid wünscht. Nämlich (so wie heute bei schönem Wetter) mit vollständig geöffneter Tür über die gesamte Restaurantbreite, freundlichen Gästen und sypathischer Geräuschkulisse. Immer gerne wieder.

Solider Dönerladen, der allerdings auch kein Special ist. Ich war eine Woche lang in Essen zu Besuch und habe diesen Döner spontan probiert. Genauer gesagt hatte ich Iskender Kebab. Geschmacklich war dieser gut. Portion war auch groß. Allerdings ist 14,50 dafür trotzdem zu viel. Bin dementsprechend für das Gericht und eine Cola mit 17€ raus. Das ist richtig übertrieben. Würde aufgrund der völlig überzogenen Preisstruktur daher nicht mehr kommen.

Went for a quick dinner with a friend from work. I really liked the quality and the service. The meat was good and the variety as well. I recommend it.

Leider sind heute sehr enttäuscht. Döner Teller mit Hänchenfleisch. Das Fleisch war schrecklich, jedenfalls nicht frisch oder gar kein Hähnchen gewesen. Pommes auch nicht frisch zu fettig. Schade ☹️ Ob wir nochmal da essen ist erstmal fraglich.
