Even in Turkey you won't find such a delicious Turkish pizza(lahmacun) many thanks to öz adana. We often come from Gelsenkirchen.

Food good, ambience also good, service satisfactory

Everything was very nice. The food was full of delicious portions. The employees were attentive and friendly.

Due to a lack of alternatives to stop off, we came across the restaurant by chance with our hiking group (8 people) and we didn't regret it - despite the restaurant being full, they spontaneously made a table available for 8 people - the staff was super friendly - the food Very tasty - large salad plate and various dips with freshly toasted bread were available free of charge as a starter and a black tea at the end - all in all a perfect end to our hike on the Zollverein-Steig - we would love to come back!!

Döner and soups are very good, but the service is a disgrace.

My best friend is Turkish and I really like Turkish cuisine and have eaten here a few times. I was really positively surprised and the food was always very tasty, everything was freshly prepared and always kept nice and warm. In addition, a friendly staff who keep their nerves stable even on stressful days when the store is overcrowded is very admirable. The only disadvantage that annoys me a bit is the rising prices where a small kebab now costs €7 hmm but they can't help that either.

The food was very tasty and there was a lot of it. We even had some left over. There were 5 of us and we got a plate for 3 people and something extra. It was more than enough and very very tasty and service was also great and they did everything quickly and took care of us.

The service was fast, I ate ribs, the taste and cooking consistency were good, the sauce of the wings my son ate was bad, and the tables inside were very close together, I didn't like this, but overall it was successful ✌️

I was allowed to let out everything I was allowed to eat this morning. Everything tasted good, but apparently something wasn't right.

Four of us went there today, looking at the comments on Google, we thought it was a delicious place, but unfortunately we were disappointed, the service was very good, I can't say the same for the food, we ordered mixed grill, including chops, chicken skewers, meatballs, French fries, rice pilaf, garbage skewers, others except chops. They were all very bad, they filled the seasoning and it was too much. They were fried, most of it was burnt, I ate the cutlet, I said it was fine, the meatballs were very bland and salty, the adana looked like anything but adana, it was bone dry and the mixed grill for 4 people, 3 ayran, 0.2 Coke and water cost 108 Euros in total, we were not satisfied at all, the chef needs to be changed urgently, there are a lot of employees. They were kind and polite, I would never go there again and I would not recommend it to anyone.

It's a shame, we drove here specifically for the breakfast buffet, arrived at 12 p.m. and was told that there hadn't been anything for a long time. Although there should be until 2 p.m....

I decided to rate the Öz Adana store this time because I think it tastes super tasty and also very fresh, but when it comes to the service I have to be honest and they need to get it under control VERY URGENTLY. You place an order as a family and later only receive one portion at the table. Every time I have to repeat everything that is missing and every time we all can't eat. Today we were served by 4 waiters individually who had no agreement at all with each other. And finally, until the first dish arrived, even though the shop wasn't even 50% full, it took exactly 45 minutes and another 20 minutes until a kebab and dürüm arrived. I'm sorry, but I don't think that's normal.

The only thing missing is open 24 hours a day.

I ordered a grill plate with an additional portion of kebab and then enjoyed Künefe with cream. The portions were large, very juicy and extremely tasty. The warm pide complemented the whole thing perfectly. The Künefe was not overly sweet like other restaurants but had just the right amount of sweetness. At the end we were given a glass of tea as standard. The service was very polite and nice. Ambiance is of course a matter of taste, for me it was quite ok. All in all, highly recommended – we will definitely come back!

The food at this restaurant is truly outstanding, but unfortunately several of my orders have been canceled this year - four times in total. This is particularly frustrating because all orders were initially accepted. In one case, I had even pre-ordered and the cancellation only happened a few minutes before the agreed delivery date, even though there were several hours in between and the restaurant was open. It seems as if there is sometimes not enough capacity for cooking and delivery, although the restaurant is still marked as open on Lieferando. Previously, the restaurant would mark itself as closed immediately after a cancellation, so orders would usually always arrive when the restaurant was shown as open. Unfortunately, I was never informed by phone that my order had been canceled and why. It is noticeable that orders under 30 euros are canceled much more often, while orders over 30-40 euros are almost always delivered. Perhaps it would make sense to increase the minimum order value or temporarily close the restaurant - as has been done in the past - if it is too busy. I will change this review once the issue is resolved and I no longer experience last-minute cancellations.

Pretty decent Turkish restaurant in the neighborhood of Shaft XII of the Zollverein Coal Mine. I enjoyed the food. Recommended.

Been there last week, really quite an experience with colleagues. We ordered a big platter and it was very good , we had a great time and the service was really friendly. Loved the experience, definitely worth the top rating it has, If I ever visit Essen again there will be my first choice for dinner out :)

The shop may seem good at first glance, but the food is an absolute disaster. I ordered an Adana Kebab and was horrified by what I received. It tasted as if the kebab had first been soaked in oil, then grilled briefly and then dipped in oil again. It was so greasy and oily that the oil literally flowed out of the bread. An absolute nightmare for anyone expecting to enjoy a delicious meal. I definitely wouldn't recommend this restaurant, at least not until they do a major overhaul of their cooking methods.

Extremely tasty and rich. Not just typical kebabs but also clearly authentic food. Apparently there is also a buffet, but we decided on a platter for two. This is very inexpensive at €42. In the front area there is take away, in the middle there is more of a buffet and in the back area you can sit very nicely. Service was extremely friendly, one star deducted because card payment is not possible, otherwise 5 here too 😁

We newlyweds had our meal together here after our civil wedding: Positive: - The food (meze, kebab plate with rice, fries and salad, meze, pide, baklava) was super tasty. - The waiters (not waitresses!) were all very friendly, hardworking and considerate. - We had our own area with 50 guests. - The evening before we were allowed to decorate our table and put the cake in the fridge. - Upon request, Sinalco was bought/ordered and served instead of CocaCola. The negative: The "organizer" was initially quite nice and open, but she did something very outrageous, which made us as a couple angry and disappointed. When the cake came we asked several times for a knife. The question was constantly ignored until... They intrusively demanded money for the knife to cut the cake. The organizer SHOUTED into the crowd (can't be missed in our beautiful video) for the groom's parents to come forward and give her money. After 3×50 € = 150 €!!!!! we had to tell her that it was enough and we finally wanted to get the knife. The situation was unpleasant, outrageous and disappointing! There's also a tense atmosphere because you don't want to spoil your mood on a day like this, you have to pull yourself together, but you're still pretty angry. The worst: Nothing was discussed or even mentioned. If you are selfish and greedy and therefore embarrass others in order to receive undeserved money, then you should look for another job and not ruin a couple's best day!!!! Because the organizer caused an unfortunate memory, I unfortunately had to deduct 1 star. PS: Unfortunately we have the whole situation on a very long video in which we actually only wanted to have the short scene with the cutting and eating of the cake...

The place is clean, the waiters are attentive. Grilled dishes are really delicious. The taste, salt and doneness were good, they were not overcooked or dried out. The only problem was that it was a bit noisy because it was extremely crowded (there were no empty tables). Even though it was so crowded, our orders arrived without waiting too long. If you come by car, parking may be a bit of a problem because there is no designated parking space. If you choose this place, I don't know how you feel, but you will wake up with a full stomach 😃. First of all, happy Ramadan to everyone, Ramadan has come and opportunists have appeared in Germany. I am sharing with you Öz Adana's last year's iftar menu and this year's iftar menu. They have made an incredible price increase, they are literally treating us, the consumer, as idiots. While last year Adana's soup, appetizer, salad, beverage and dessert menu was 18€, this year they made it 30€, that is, 12€. They increased the € price, while the mixed grill menu was 23€ last year, this year it is 37€, I'm afraid of God, it's obvious that you are putting your hand on your wallet instead of your conscience when making these prices.. I say shame on you for this amount of opportunism and I am BOYCOTTING this business on my own behalf. , shame on you, shame on you.

Açıldığı günden beri Ailece gittitiğim tek mekan. Kendim kasaplık yapıyorum o yüzden kebap yapımında kullanılan etlerin kalitesi üst düzeyde. Mekan sahibi Şahin bey kendisi bizzat etleri hazırlıyor, Herkeze tavsiye ederim.

Mit Abstand der beste Kebap-Laden in Essen und Umgebung. Der Geschmack des Fleisches ist unvergleichbar, da können die anderen Restaurants nicht mithalten. Langsam müsste da aber renoviert und ein besseres Ambiente geschaffen werden.

Sehr geiles Essen, top Qualität und super aufmerksames Personal. Da zahlt man gerne ein paar Euronen mehr. Denn hier passte alles. Der bestellte Dönerteller stand keine 5 Minuten später heiß vor uns und war geschmacklich ein Fest. Vielen Dank, wir werden wiederkommen.

Wir haben unsere Weihnachtsfeier gefeiert. Essen total lecker, Service war sehr schnell und nett. Essen sehr gerne hier. Essen hat voll gereicht haben noch sogar mit nach Hause genommen. (6 Personen) Unsere Kellnerin war einfach Top! So hilfsbereit. Immer wieder gerne hier!!

الطعام لابأس فيه ..يوجد بعض الملاحظات ان شقف اللحمة غير ناضجة تماما وقطع الكباب جدا قليلة بوجبة ل ٣ أشخاص والبيديه بالجبن كانت سميكة العجين بالاطراف..اللحم بعجين طري وغير مقرمش واللحمة خشنة بداخله اما بالنسبة للسلطة أفضل ان تكون موزعة بصحون فردية لكل شخص بدلا ان يوضع طبق واحد والصوصات ايضا نفس الملاحظة..أرجو أن يصبح افضل وأن يأخذ هذه الملاحظات بعين الاعتبار.

Sehr leckeres Essen und super Preis-Leistung Verhältnis.

Die Portionen sind gut bemessen, hier sollte jeder satt. Die Speisen sind frisch und lecker. Ich werde das Öz Adana Kebap Haus auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen.

Wir haben hier leckere Adana- und Tavuk Sis Spieße bestellt. Der Service war freundlich. Das Restaurant bietet viel Platz, ist sauber und gemütlich. Hier bekommt man viele Türkische Spezialitäten angeboten. Die Preise sind ok. Geschmacklich sind die Speisen auf einem hohen Niveau. Eine ganz klare Empfehlung ;)
