We've been customers for years and everything is always great, one of the waiters is fantastic, the food tastes amazing, never had any problems with anything, keep it up.

I've known this place for a very long time, since it was just a small kebab shop. Personally, I still enjoy the food there. However, I've noticed time and again that some employees handle food without gloves. Unfortunately, this doesn't exactly give a good impression of hygiene. Everyone has to decide for themselves what to make of this information. I've also been struck by the pricing. It used to be no problem to get a little extra meat in the kebab. Nowadays, they charge an extra €1 for even the smallest amount of additional meat, which I find very stingy. It's also somewhat puzzling why they don't accept debit cards. Overall, there are a few things that raise questions, including the fact that the place burned down once.

Amazing place. Great service. Went there spontaneously yesterday. Despite a big party, we still got a table. It was very busy, but we were served quickly. The service was very attentive and friendly, and the food was delicious. Thank you so much for everything.

Diarrhea was inevitable, the Adana was death; to call the Adana you need an entire region as a witness.

For years, this has been the only place I order food from. Always on time, always delicious, clean, and generous portions. I've never been disappointed. A real exception in Leverkusen. I hope it stays this way! I'm even willing to pay a few euros more if the quality remains this good in the long run.

My first visit to Öz Adana was wonderful. The restaurant is huge, but somehow very cozy. I only got to try a few of the dishes. The lahmacun is delicious, as are the doner kebab and the pide. The staff are very friendly and pleasantly unobtrusive. Despite the large number of guests, the noise level in the restaurant was tolerable. Öz Adana is usually quite busy in the evenings. That's a good sign. The prices are reasonable, and the portions are generous.

The food at Öz Adana is truly delicious and flavorful, especially the hand-cut döner and the homemade ayran. The wide selection of dishes and the lovely, spacious tables were also noteworthy. Parking, however, is rather difficult, and while the service is attentive, there's room for improvement. Our drinks were cleared away while they were cleaning our table, even though we were only outside briefly for a smoke. Additionally, on our last visit, we unfortunately had to wait quite a while for our food. Overall, though, it's a good restaurant with very tasty food and a lot of potential.

I think this restaurant has the best mixed grill in all of Essen. This portion is easily enough for two people. The price is reasonable – it would be even better if it were a bit cheaper, of course. Otherwise, everything is really top-notch. 💯🔥

Food hygiene and atmosphere are 10 out of 10, but I can't say the same for the lady working in the morning, you are even afraid to order, she is so nervous and her face almost makes people think "why did you come?"

I ordered Iskender. The meat was well-seasoned and tender. The sauce had a fruity flavor, and the yogurt was delicious. Besides the standard ayran, they also had a homemade ayran, which I highly recommend – it was excellent.

This morning, we were there with my wife and daughter to drink soup, but we didn't drink it because we were subjected to insults from the woman there and we tried to explain the problem to the person in charge. That woman still didn't even let us explain the problem. It's over for us, Adana. I hope their cameras are active and they can see that woman's face.

The food there is truly delicious; I've been there twice already and I'm absolutely thrilled. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend it 👍🏼

I often go there with friends, and we usually order a doner kebab and lahmacun to go. We've never had to wait long, and the food is always really good. They don't skimp on meat like most places do these days. We're always treated kindly. I also highly recommend the grill plate, which is a real treat if you're with a lot of people.

For us, this is the best restaurant in the Ruhr area. My husband and I have been going here for years – delicious food, a great atmosphere, and a friendly team. We even celebrated our registry office dinner here because we just feel so comfortable here. 🤞🏼🤍

We came here after reading the comments and ordered the mixed grill and pita with cubed cheese. The portions were very filling and everything was delicious. The staff was friendly and attentive. If I ever pass by here, I will come here without hesitation.

We spontaneously stopped by for lunch with our young son today. Our order was taken quickly and friendly, and we promptly received delicious, warm flatbread with various dips and salad. The dishes were all very well prepared and seasoned, the portions were very generous, and there was easily enough to take back for dinner. Everything tasted absolutely delicious. For dessert, we ordered a portion of baklava with tea and coffee, also absolutely top-quality. The ambiance is clean and well-maintained, befitting a good snack bar. Plenty of seating. Clean restrooms. Important to note: NO CARD PAYMENTS!! The price/performance ratio is absolutely reasonable. We would love to come back! Thank you so much!!

Incredibly delicious! If you're nearby, you should get a mixed grill plate! Two adults and two children were satisfied with a plate for two people! Top class!

This is the third time I've been here with a colleague, and now I simply have to write a long-overdue review. From the outside, the place looks like a run-of-the-mill kebab shop, but once you walk in, you immediately realize how huge this place is and that it has little in common with a standard kebab shop. At the entrance, there's a counter with a kebab skewer and the usual salads, but the counter extends further to the area where a few masters are working on the heart of the place: the charcoal grill with all its skewers. You can smell the aroma several meters from the front of the restaurant. Next to it are platters of sweet pastries like baklava. Further into the restaurant is a large, stylishly furnished room with around 25-30 tables and very comfortable seating. So much for the ambiance. The service is always extremely friendly and attentive, and you feel at home. Great! Last but not least: The outstanding food. I've had two Karisik Izgara (grilled plates) and one Adana Kebab plate. After taking my order, I've always been served a salad plate and plenty of homemade, grilled flatbread strips to share, including three homemade dips in larger bowls – free of charge, mind you! I think some people are already getting full. Then comes the ordered dish. The grill plate consists of a lamb chop, an Adana skewer, several chicken cubes, a larger piece of chicken steak, onions, salad, and a side dish (fries or rice), all beautifully presented and seasoned. Not only are you more than filling, but – and this is the most important thing – it tastes absolutely fantastic! Mediterranean grilled flavors throughout and a succulence that is second to none. Even the lamb is a delight, and that's not to be taken for granted! Every single course tastes delicious. From the deliciously dressed salad to the grilled flatbread with the amazing dips to the main course and the sweet desserts. And when you're (unfortunately) finished, there's a cay (tea) to finish it off. Amazing. Along with Kebapland in Cologne, this is by far the best Turkish restaurant I've eaten at so far, and I'll definitely be going back. Be sure to try it!

No, it is very loud, often very crowded, and expensive! Fries taste old and dry, kebab is very greasy and consists of a lot of gristle meat, simply cheap quality. It has worn off a lot!

I experienced it by reading the comments online. It was a real feast with my family. The portions are very generous and satisfying. The employees are polite. Payment is made in cash, cards are not used. There is a parking problem, but you can find empty spaces in the back streets, as I did. I recommend it.

Very tasty food! The grilled dishes and the homemade Ayran are definitely recommended. Beforehand there was a (free!) starter of flatbread pieces with various dips. We all ordered different dishes and we all enjoyed them, especially since the portions are very large! The atmosphere is authentic and very familiar. The service is friendly and, as soon as tables become available, they are made available to new guests. The price-performance ratio is appropriate. We have been there twice now and will visit this restaurant again when we visit the city of Essen again!!

For iftar grill plate for 2 people pre-ordered with the request no rice just fries... picked up and what we see is full of rice and bulgur. Lamb only 1 piece Steak only 1 piece, so for 49€ that was a bit low..

Absolutely great place, decent, clean and delicious

We visited this restaurant on Saturday and overall had a very pleasant stay. The staff were extremely friendly and served us excellently. The food was really delicious - especially the Adana, Beyti, Pide, which was simply great! Unfortunately we didn't like the iskender, it wasn't quite to our liking. Unfortunately I can't recommend it any further. But the overall picture remains positive and we would definitely come back.

It was very loud, you couldn't understand the person you were talking to. Soup was way too hot, not good. Döner plate was nothing special, the hot sauce is pure ketchup and doesn't go well! Service was friendly!

First of all: I wasn't there, I'm just criticizing the appearance at Lieferando: This is simply catastrophic in my opinion: - The stated delivery times (- the general ones, which I cannot judge after a successful delivery) are arbitrary, i.e. that the stated opening times for delivery are not adhered to. - The menu leaves a lot to be desired: For many dishes, including the "classic" kebab, there is no choice about the filling as far as salads and sauces are concerned. - For many dishes it is not clear whether and, if so, which side dishes are included. I wanted to order here several times because of the good reviews, most recently well over an hour before the end of the specified time window for orders, but after a while I was only informed that my order had been canceled. Apparently the store is doing too well to serve Lieferando customers. But then you should perhaps consider whether you should give up this service, since you obviously don't attach any importance to it.

We ate mixed grill for two, the taste was not bad, but for that price, at least an Adana Kebab and a doner kebab could have been extra, so they divided a single adana into three or four and put a handful of doner kebabs on the tray. My advice is to buy it yourself, cook it at home and eat it. Not only here but in every restaurant, the prices are extremely abnormal and they do not deserve the money they pay. You can shop for a week for that money. I can recommend Adana kebab and döner.

Authentic Turkish restaurant - plate more than enough for 2 people - compliments to the kitchen - all meat variants had a cooking point that you couldn't get better - small note, the peppers have an extreme level of spiciness - but it could also be that I was a little weak

Due to a lack of alternatives for a stop, we came across the restaurant by chance with our hiking group (8 people) and we didn't regret it - despite the restaurant being full, they spontaneously made a table free for 8 people - the staff was super friendly - the food Very tasty - large salad plate and various dips with freshly toasted bread were available free of charge as a starter and a black tea at the end - all in all a perfect end to our hike on the Zollverein-Steig - we would love to come back!!

My best friend is Turkish and I really like Turkish cuisine and have eaten here a few times. I was really positively surprised and the food was always very tasty, everything was freshly prepared and always kept nice and warm. In addition, a friendly staff who keep their nerves stable even on stressful days when the store is overcrowded is very admirable. The only disadvantage that annoys me a bit is the rising prices where a small kebab now costs €7 hmm but they can't help that either.

The food was very tasty and there was a lot of it. We even had some left over. There were 5 of us and we got a plate for 3 people and something extra. It was more than enough and very very tasty and service was also great and they did everything quickly and took care of us.
