Mini Pizza Piccolo in Kassel

Many years ago a school friend showed me this little hidden pizza shop. I have now passed it on to my daughter and hopefully she will pass it on if it changes. Good prices for years.

I probably go there longer than some people work there. Was already at the opening back then. Since the change of ownership, the quality has declined and new spices have also changed the taste. For years there has been an employee there who often has a negative mood and comes across as very unfriendly. Otherwise the shop is always clean and small and cozy. I've always enjoyed going there and now my sons do too. It is a veteran of Martinsplatz and Kassel. It is also a cross-generational tradition to get your food there, thanks to the rescue service.

Rustic atmosphere, like before, small, spartan but clean. The pizza is as delicious as ever and when you know that only cash is real, you prepare for it. There is something for every hunger, for the little one (Mini) and for several people (Gigante). If you are sensitive and value the checkout process and dough preparation being carried out by different people, you shouldn't look too closely ;-) We like to come here when we visit our old homeland from Cologne.

The prices should be adjusted online otherwise good

I have known the store for over 20 years. This shop used to be the absolute highlight of pizza in Kassel. Here you knew that if you had dirty hands, you were being treated to canned ingredients on a pizza in full view of everyone. The unique taste came about because the cashier took cash from hundreds of customers and worked this flavor into the dough. And it tasted better than any pizza in Kassel and I never had any negative experiences. Unfriendly, dirty atmosphere: really tasty. I loved it. Unfortunately, over the past 1-2 years, there has been a massive jump in the price of pizzas, and the unfriendliness has gone down a notch. And now comes the reason for my lower rating: From now on we will also save on the pizza. The dough is thinner, the pizza smaller. After over 20 years, where every visit there was a highlight, I always think about getting a pizza again. Too bad.

I recently walked past this shop and because I was hungry for a pizza, I spontaneously went in. The pizzas from the guests who were already eating looked rather average, but no matter. Well, there were two other customers in front of me and it was already discussed that the dough etc. was prepared with their hands, even though money etc. had been touched beforehand. Then I went straight back out and got something to eat somewhere else. As I read in the reviews here, that seems to be common practice there.

The pizza was fine! The price is unbeatable. Unfortunately my mushrooms were canned, but the pizza was still good. Unfortunately, the hygiene concerns that were expressed here were also with us. Accepted money and then rolled out the pizza dough. What was much worse for me was that the pizza cutter was probably used the entire day without being cleaned... As a vegetarian, I didn't think that was so cool..... The cutlery and glass were clean. The cola was cold. What I was able to observe was good. In the picture you can see the large pizza at the back and a maxi at the front.

I went to the store based on a recommendation and was immediately impressed by the store. The pizza was to die for. Plus mega low prices! See you next time!

Today I called you and initially asked what sizes of pizza there are. The lady on the phone then answered extremely cheekily and asked if I was yesterday and why I didn't know what sizes were available. I have never experienced such bad customer service!

I've been eating here relatively regularly for 15 years and it always tastes delicious. The new owners aren't quite as friendly as the last ones, but that doesn't affect the quality of the food

The best and cheapest pizza. Apart from the parking facilities there is nothing to complain about. The pizza can be pre-ordered by phone or directly on site, the waiting time is always reasonable.

Friendly is different, but the pizza is still amazing. Update 2024: The boys are really nice.

Order canceled straight away... The same guy who is fiddling with my pizza ingredients when it's busy is cashing in and grabbing paper and coins in the cash register 🤮? I don't even want to know what's going on behind the scenes. A regulatory authority should urgently monitor this.

The pizzas there taste good, but so far I haven't been 100% satisfied. Sometimes the pizza is oversalted and sometimes it's completely burnt and black at the edges, even though there wasn't much going on.

Pizza was sometimes better too. Shop is unclean, tables with leftover food, both on the floor and napkins. Not a good day when ordering, no response to my goodbye, despite the fact that there was no one left in the store. It's a shame what happened to the store.

Very nice and friendly staff. Pizza is ready quickly and can be eaten on site or taken away. All pizzas taste very good. Keep coming back!

Totally unfriendly. Food used to be tastier and cheaper. When asked if the sucuk were helal, the answer was "Yes, yes. Sucuk is from Istanbul" with a strange grin on his face. I've also heard things from other customers that don't work that way. The store is simply cheeky.

Not really a restaurant/more of a snack bar The staff was very unfriendly and didn't pay any attention to you... But then I got dirty looks when I asked if they could cut the pizza! Even if the pizza is solid...not recommended

Very very tasty food. Not so expensive. Quiet environment near downtown not far from City Point. A bit limited space with a high number of visitors, otherwise highly recommended.

OG pizza Unfortunately it didn't age well. That used to be a thing as a teenager. The old telephone number remains. But nothing more. The pizzas are okay, but the service and ambience offer no incentive to do more than pack them up and eat them out. And this “cash only”... What’s that supposed to mean?

Etwas besonderes sollte man hier jedenfalls nicht erwarten. Gleich beim Eintritt fällt einem das Schild ins Auge das hier nur Barzahlung möglich ist. Nichts worüber man sich jetzt beschweren könnte aber einige werden sich hier garantiert erst einmal nach einen Geldautomaten umsehen müssen. Die Pizza selbst gehörte zu den Varianten mit dem etwas dickeren Teig und war Geschmacklich und vom Belag her O.K., mehr aber auch nicht. Etwas enttäuschender war hingegen die Carbonara. Geschmacklich eine reine Sahnesoße, ohne Käse und Pfeffer dafür aber mit Champignons, die über etwas kleingeschnittenen Hinterkochschinken auf die zu weich gekochten Nudeln gegossen wurde. Der Tisch war Sauber, mich kassierte ein anderer ab als derjenige der den Teig zubereitet hatte. Von der Hygiene her fiel also nichts wirklich Negativ auf an diesem Tag. Preislich finde ich den Laden jetzt nicht wirklich überteuert, für das Geld würde ich aber doch etwas mehr erwarten.

The pizza itself was one of the variants with a slightly thicker dough and was OK in terms of taste and toppings, but nothing more. The carbonara, however, was a little more disappointing. In terms of taste, it was a pure cream sauce, without cheese or pepper but with mushrooms, which was poured over some chopped ham on the pasta that was cooked too soft. The table was clean, I was paid by someone other than the person who prepared the dough. In terms of hygiene, there was nothing really negative that day. In terms of price, I don't think the store is really overpriced, but I would expect a little more for the money.

Hygiene disgusting, so when I saw that the cashier doesn't wash his hands and then tops the pizza disgusting! Even when he was cleaning in between, which again sounds good, you also took a look at the rag, bahhh disgusting, dirty, I've definitely never seen the inside of a washing machine, the rag! First the cash register was wiped with it and then the area where he nicely rolls out the pizza and between the containers of the topping was wiped up and poured from the rag back into the container. Simply disgusting. Pizza tastes good, never again now. Staff not friendly either

It's not what it used to be...plus it's way too expensive for the small, large pizzas

After we watched the worker finish rolling the dough and collect the money at the same time, we immediately felt sick. The crowning glory was that after 4-5 hours my husband vomited violently several times. He had food poisoning. We won't eat there again.

Gastrointestinal danger... the cashier collects money and then he puts in the dough. The pizza baker fiddles around everywhere and then puts in the ingredients. Two of our group threw up afterwards. Hygiene measures should be taken here. On top of that, the staff is extremely unsympathetic and zero customer friendly.

PLASTIC on pizza! I had several 1x1cm pieces of plastic on my pizza. After complaining, they didn't even apologize. Impossible store! Absolutely not recommended.

Very good pizza, no service, but very cheap. If you don't value special comfort and can get your own pizza from the counter, this is the right place. Every pizzeria I know has had less and less toppings over the years, but that's not the case here. Very good as 30 years ago!

Absolute catastrophe, bad exhaust air in the shop, but the crowning glory were the 3 bad-tempered extras here at the counter. I have never encountered anything so unfriendly in a restaurant. Conclusion! Never again, I can only advise everyone to spend their money in another restaurant.

Ich war tatsächlich nur zu Besuch in Kassel und da sind wir dann zum Essen hierher gekommen. Die Pizzen werden eigenhändig hergestellt. Nachdem man bestellt hat, muss man nicht allzu lange auf die Pizzen warten. Sie schmecken wirklich gut und verwendet werden nur die frischesten Zutaten. Preislich sind die Pizzen auch sehr günstig. Wenn man in Kassel wohnt oder mal zu Besuch ist, sollte man definitiv mal einen Abstecher hierher machen!

It used to be a shop where you could eat pizza cheaply. It tastes good, nothing special but well made and well topped. The employees are friendly and the store looks like it did 10 years ago. I think it's a shame that the prices have been raised so much. The 4 Seasons pizza is my favorite pizza and it tastes the same as it did 10 years ago.

Nach längerer Zeit mal wieder hier gewesen. Deutlich leerer geworden. Obwohl es Mittagszeit war. Aber die Pizza war superlecker. Absolut nichts auszusetzen. Preise wurden auch nach oben angepasst. Aber sie war ihr Geld wert.

Das Mini Pizza piccolo ist leider nur noch ein Schatten seiner selbst. Früher wurde hier die in Kassel allseits bekannte Mini Pizza gemacht, mit Freude belegt und mit Freundlichkeit verkauft. Von all dem ist leider nichts mehr übrig. Die aktuellen Mitarbeiter sind maximal wortkarg, wenn sie überhaupt in der küche sind, offensichtlich finden große Teile des Arbeitsalltags auf der Kundentoilette beim Rauchen statt, oder auf dem Weg dahin am Handy.... Die Pizza ist noch in Ordnung, der Rest passt leider gar nicht mehr.

Die Pizzen schmecken hier gut, allerdings ist der Service mehr als grauenvoll! Immer das gleiche! Sehr nervig.

Nostalgiefaktor. Meine Großeltern haben uns hier immer hin eingeladen nach einem Einkaufsbummel, Kinobesuch oder sonstiges. Der Service ist schnell und effizient, die Pizzen lecker und nach dem eigenen Geschmack anpassbar

Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr unfreundlich; das Ambiente geht so. Einzig das Essen schmeckt.

Kürzlich bin ich zu dem Schluss gekommen, dass das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis dieses Restaurants in letzter Zeit auf ein unverschämtes Niveau gesunken ist, insbesondere die Servicequalität. Das Management, dessen Aufgabe unter anderem die Kommunikation mit Menschen ist, wählten Unhöflichkeit als Hauptstrategie der Pizzeria. Deshalb ist mein Rat der Folgende: Gehen Sie an diesem Lokal vorbei, um nicht auf die oben erwähnte Unhöflichkeit zu stoßen. Ich empfehle dieses Etablissement nicht.

Ab und zu esse ich es ist Jahrzehntelang immer die selbe Piiza lecker aber nichts besonderes

Da geh ich seit 20 Jahren essen und es war immer alles gut.

Definitiv die beste Pizza in Kassel. Schon als Kind vor ca 20 Jahren bin ich mit meinen in diese Pizzeria gegangen, bis heute ist das die für mich leckerste Pizza in Kassel. Keine andere kommt an den Geschmack von Piccolo ran.

Leckere Pizza für den kleinen Geldbeutel. Service nur 2 Sterne da Selbstbedienung. Ambiente auch nur 2 Sterne da es nicht meinen Geschmack anspricht.

Pizza schmeckt immer noch genau wie vor 30 Jahren. Natürlich ist es nicht die weltbeste Pizza, aber ich habe mich beim ersten Bissen gefühlt als wäre ich wieder 14 🤭 Noch dazu sind die Preise wirklich in Ordnung. Wir kommen wieder.👍

Einfach die beste Pizza in Kassel und dazu noch absolut Faire Preis. Muss man auf jedem Fall hin wenn man Pizza mag.

Gehe seit vielen Jahren immer mal wieder hier eine Pizza holen/essen. Mag die Pizzen ganz gern, verstehe nur nicht, wenn man was extra auf die Pizza haben möchte, zahlt man drauf, lässt man aber was weg, bleibt der Preis bestehen. Soll einer mal verstehen. Service ist das so ja leider nicht... Auch an der Freundlichkeit sollte man mal arbeiten. Wenigstens einen guten Tag wünschen und ein kleines Lächeln wären ganz schön. Das nächste Mal vielleicht doch wieder ab in die Treppenstraße, auch wenn das dann eben nicht gerade mal um die Ecke ist.

Das Essen war lecker, selbst wenn die Hygiene etwas zu wünschen lässt. Die Bedienung ist nett. Leider stinkt es auf den Plätzen draußen unglaublich nach Müll, was einem schon den Appetit verderben kann.

Mini Pizza ist eine Top Pizzeria in Kassel. Die Pizzen sind unglaublich lecker und die Zubereitung kann über den Tresen live mitverfolgt werden. Absolute Empfehlung

Beste Pizza in der Stadt. Und das seit Jahrzehnten. Wirklich wirklich lecker.

Ich komme seit Jahren 2-3 mal im Jahr her und die Pizza ist immer gut! Die Betreiber waren immer extrem freundlich und alles war super ! Jetzt gibt es neue Mitarbeiter an der Kasse die man kaum versteht und richtig schlecht gelaunt rumstehen. Die alte Freundlichkeit zurück holen und dann sind es 5 Sterne 😁

Super leckere Pizza 🍕. Und was ich super finde, es gibt die Pizzen in 4 Größen. Mir reicht meistens eine Mini. 😉

Die beste Pizza, die ich je in meinem Leben gegessen habe, ich komme sehr gerne wieder hierher.

schäbig! Geld nehmen wechsel Geld rausgeben danach mit dem anderen Kunden das selbe Prozedere, DANN mit diesen ungewaschenen Wechselgeld Händen Pizza gemacht, wir wollten die Pizza nicht mehr , geldrückgabe wurde verweigert, wir sindgegangen, ekelig !

Der Kassierer telefoniert und lässt mich eine gefühlte Ewigkeit warten. Keine Begrüßung. Dann streut er mit der rechten Hand, mit der er eben den Hörer gehalten hat, den Käse auf meine Pizza. Freundlichkeit und Hygiene: 0 Punkte. Die Pizza hat gut geschmeckt, war aber etwa 30% teurer als vor 6 Monaten.

War nach dem bestellen geachäftlich am telefonieren und habe nicht gehört, dass der Mitarbeiter nach mir gerufen hat. Hab mich umgedreht und da stand das ganze Peraonal und hat mich während des Telefonates noch angschrien. Der ganze Laden war ruhig jeder hat aufgehört zu essen und hat geschaut was los ist. Mitarbeiter sind unverschämt frech und haben keine manieren, ich empfehle Meditationsübungen, einfach melden. Pizza ist gut, P./L. passt.

Wahrscheinlich einer der günstigsten Pizzerien in Deutschland. Ich komme regelmäßig, weil es gut schmeckt und sehr schnell geht. Die "Räumlichkeit" ist bestenfalls mittelmässig. Die Mitarbeiter sind charmant umschrieben "gewöhnungsbedürftig". Die Pizza ist gut, der Preis sensationell.
