Then they had us waiting for the bill and when another waiter came by presumably to say sorry about the service they had the decency to tell us that we had to wait for their boss to arrive with a card payment terminal. An utter joke for a well rated restaurant.

Unfortunately our expectations were not met... We were there for a meal with a voucher promotion. We were promised something by telephone in advance, which unfortunately was not kept on site. It said 2 for 1, but out of 6 dishes ordered only one was canceled - very incomprehensible to us. Even after asking again, it stayed that way. Even though the quality of the food was good, the sushi rolls were just far too small for the price, so we left hungry. Our service staff was very friendly and attentive. The interior of the restaurant is beautifully designed, but the outside area doesn't match it at all. Overall, we can't recommend it because the price-performance ratio doesn't match at all. Even with the voucher campaign we wouldn't come back, which is a shame because we expected something different.

Big disappointment! This restaurant lacks warmth, coziness and, above all, professionalism and quality. After a very long wait, we received carelessly prepared drinks, sushi rolls that were much too small, the edamame we ordered were forgotten, and the service staff was annoyed and inattentive. Overall, the price-performance ratio is really not good at all. We paid €110 for two people and were still hungry and very dissatisfied when we left the restaurant…

Incredibly slow, unfriendly and listless staff, I've never experienced anything like that. Instead of bringing us salt after repeatedly asking, the waitress went to smoke and talk on the phone. In total we had to wait 2 hours for our food.

The service was inattentive and slow. The supposedly "exclusive atmosphere" turned out to be a crowded, noisy room. The restaurant is significantly overpriced for the quality and service. My conclusion: There are definitely better options for sushi lovers in Hamburg. Not recommended.

Sushi unfortunately everything was warm even if it was supposed to be cold and extremely small rolls. It's a shame we would have been there a year ago and completely satisfied. Steak Sushi was all great! Unfortunately, the store has run down a lot, for whatever reason, we won't be coming back

We decided to give “Milo Sushi & Steak Club” a chance because of a discount promotion, but unfortunately we were disappointed. The service was inattentive, slow and unfriendly which made the entire experience very unpleasant. The sushi rolls were noticeably small, and given the high prices, the price-performance ratio was not at all good. Another major drawback was cleanliness: many tables were not cleaned for a long time after the guests had left. We didn't receive the bill on a receipt, but only as a number on a calculator, which seemed very unprofessional. A particularly annoying incident was a cocktail that, according to the menu, was supposed to contain champagne, but did not contain it. Nevertheless, it was billed for a whopping €14. The staff seemed overwhelmed even though the restaurant was only half full. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend “Milo Sushi & Steak Club” and recommend trying other alternatives.

Never ever again! Slow service, only 1 waitress on a Saturday evening and very expensive food compared to quality. I paid around 100 euros for 2 person but we ate our food with a cheap wood chopstick on a “stadtpark table” without even a table cover.

Sehr nettes Restaurant mit familiären Gefühl. Wir waren bereits zwei mal dort - einmal zu zweit, und einmal mit befreundeten Pärchen und beide Male war es super. Cocktails: interessante Kreationen neben den Klassikern auf der Karte und bei uns bisher immer gut gemixt. Weinauswahl: Passend zum Essen und eine gute Range dabei. Nichts zu teuer. Essen: wir hatten eine kleine Challenge: 3 Steaks in verschiedenen Garstufen (u.a. auch Rare) an einem Tisch. Das klappt in sehr vielen Restaurants nicht - hier schon und das auf Anhieb. Alles in Allem: super Restaurant, schön ausgestattet und sehr netter Chef, der sich Zeit für seine Gäste nimmt. Mit Kunden und privat - hier geh ich gerne hin!

Das Sushi ist sehr sehr lecker, hat seinen Preis aber ist es absolut wert. Die Cocktails stehen dem in Nichts nach. Der Service war zuvorkommend und umsichtig. Mir gefiel mein bestellter Wein nicht so gut, hierfür wurde eine Lösung gefunden. Wir kommen gern wieder und empfehlen das Milo stets weiter. Bis bald & Danke für den schönen Abend.

We celebrated our birthday in the restaurant. You can hardly imagine it being worse. I couldn't cope with the condition at all and was completely overwhelmed. Waiting time for food exceeds every limit; When it comes to salad, the lettuce leaves weren't washed and you could feel sand on your teeth. Anything but pleasant. So, never again.

I'm not usually a person who writes a BAD review but today it was just impossible!!! 1. Our reservation was forgotten even though we had reserved for a very special and important day. 2. The service was very rude and didn't come to our aid at all, even though the restaurant was clearly at fault. 3. We were sat at an uncovered table and the cards were simply placed in front of us. Not even after 25 minutes of waiting, our order was not taken and other guests who came to the restaurant after us were served first. 4. When we left the restaurant, we weren't even asked why we wanted to get up and leave. We were skillfully and deliberately ignored. Really impossible!!! You should think about it again if you want to visit this restaurant, which is in the upper price range.

What kind of small sushi portions were they for so much money? Obviously you pay for the location and the ambience. You can get much better and even higher quality sushi elsewhere. We went with a the Fork offer and received 50% off all prices. We had sushi which was really delicious! But rolls too small for my taste & just not worth it for the price. The steak was okay, but again way too expensive for the original price. I ordered medium and it was pretty well done. The ambience there is very nice, for special occasions. But for the money you can get better food elsewhere. I won't go back, maybe for drinks in a nice atmosphere in the future.

We ate there on April 3rd, 2024. The meal was excellent. It was pure joy. The restaurant is very nice. The ambience is good. That day only one employee from the kitchen served us. Not everything worked out. Nevertheless, people were very accommodating. Others don't have that. If you want to eat nice sushi and have a good time, this is the place for you.

Visited on a Saturday evening in February. Restaurant is very busy, corresponding to the noise level. Very cool/chic atmosphere. The attentive and very friendly service from the first minute makes arriving and staying easy (even if the temperature in the restaurant was very cool). Drinks of the usual, the food (especially sushi a la chef, pulpo and teriyaki salmon) of excellent quality. The.prices are reasonable. Overall, a very successful performance - we will come back (when it gets warmer). LG

I was guest of a friend a couple of days ago to this fancy place. Location really nice, besides the fact that music is a bit too loud. Food was good, I would rate 4 out of 5 stars. The only negative thing is that the rolls choice is not so huge, plus there are not many simple rolls. But what was really unacceptable was the service. Just a girl for the whole room. We arrived and we got the table after ten minutes, besides we had a reservation. Once we ordered the food arrived after a hour plus the girl never came to ask if everything was fine. We wanted to go for a second round but we couldn’t since we had to wait 30 minutes for just a roll portion, so we canceled the order. I won’t go back. You can’t expect to do nice food but having a terrible service.

The entire experience was disappointing. My partner became seriously ill from food poisoning. He had the sushi. The music was way too loud and it felt like we were sitting in a club/disco. The place was cold, and the guests at one table (who seemed to be friends of the owners) were so loud and not behaving appropriately. The owner even seemed to encourage them and ensured an unpleasant dining experience without any consideration for the other guests. The price you pay despite the discount wasn't worth it. What a disaster!

Price-performance ratio doesn't fit. The tuna fillet was a little too well done, the steak (ordered medium) was still raw on the inside. After it was supposed to be repaired again, the piece of coal was thrown at us as we walked past. The sushi plate hardly contains any variation, there are two rolls each with the same content, 3 individual ones and some sashimi. The service overall actually just made it worse. For the price I expect a little more professionalism. We would neither recommend the restaurant nor come back.

It doesn't work at all! First of all, the reserved table was not yet free. We waited 2 hours for food and an hour for drinks. Girls who apparently knew the boss came straight in and the first drinks were served after just 5 minutes. Over-fried salmon is not possible!!! The sushi was probably bad too since we're dealing with food poisoning symptoms today. Thank you for nothing.

Absolute disaster! We reserved a table for 7:15 p.m. (birthday dinner). When we got there, we were told that the table wasn't ready yet and that we should please wait outside. After 20 minutes we got a table. After another 20 minutes we finally received the menu and were able to order drinks and food. After 1 hour our drinks arrived and after another 1.5 hours we finally got our food. The food was tasty, but a bit overpriced for the price. We waited a total of 2.5 hours for food and drink. That doesn't work. You should organize yourself a little better and not accept too many reservations if you can't manage it in time. Very unfortunate and very disappointed.

The food was good, cocktails ok, service terrible. We waited 40 minutes at the empty bar before we were offered a drink (and only after we had asked twice if we could order). It was another hour and a half before our food arrived (which we ordered the moment we sat at our table having been waiting for so long). We watched other tables walk out after waiting to order for 40+ minutes. They seem to want to position themselves as the chic "must-visit" spot but with only 3 serving staff with every table taken they need to improve if they want any repeat customers. Whilst the food was good, we both said we would never go back.

I have gone several times and after my last two visits never again. The waitress brought us the wrong drinks and ended up telling us that we still need to be charged for the drinks because they were already made even though we ordered other drinks. The LAST time the waitress was so cheeky that she wanted to charge us for sushi that was no longer fresh. You could obviously tell from the brown tone of the fish that it was not edible. What I find really unfortunate and really cheeky is that the waitress had discussed it with the manager before she insisted on the money and he didn't even have the decency to come to us in person. Unfortunately, the store was recommended to us by various people and I hope that people will read my review and not let this store ruin their evening.

Preis Leistungsverhältnis nicht richtig. Plastiktische. Holzstäbchen. Toilette schmutzig obwohl wir eine der ersten Gäste waren, also vom Tag davor nicht sauber gemacht. Steak musste erstmal gekauft werden, da nicht vorrätig. Als Steak endlich am Tisch war, war der von einer Seite etwas verbrannt und geschmacklich nach „altem Fleisch“ geschmeckt. Sushi waren mittelmäßig. Cocktails winzig und überteuert. 210€ gelassen und enttäuscht rausgegangen. Die nette Bedienung hat nicht ein Mal gefragt ob alles in Ordnung war, abkassiert und weg war die. Wir testen uns durch verschiedene Restaurants durch und das ist mit Abstand das schlechteste vom Preis Leistungsvergleich!

We wanted to have a nice evening on Valentine's Day. The restaurant was - as expected - very well attended. Unfortunately, the management of the rush of guests was not that good. Since the tables were occupied several times throughout the evening, many - including us - had to wait about 15 minutes despite reservations before we found a place at the bar and another 20 minutes before we got a table. Unfortunately, the (garden) table was anything but clean. Wet tablecloth, soy sauce stains, crumbs, etc. Also located right in the entrance area, so there was a chill up my spine the entire time (I'm really insensitive). After a total of about 75-80 minutes we had the starter. All that was missing were the chopsticks/cutlery. But with a bit of initiative it went quite quickly. The food was very tasty. The portions are still reasonable for the price (sushi and meat aren't free). Because we had to wait, the host gave us two drinks on the house. When we weren't being served by the host, the service was a bit inattentive. This may have been due to the rush of guests. Since it was our first time there, I have no comparison. Are we coming back? We do not know yet.

Valentine's Day We were hoping for a nice evening, unfortunately not in this restaurant. The entire restaurant was lined with wooden garden tables from outside so that a lot of sales could be made on Valentine's Day. You couldn't talk or move around in the restaurant. There were no tablecloths anymore and we had to eat on an old one that was dirty and wet, so we had to cover everything with paper napkins. Staff absolutely unfriendly, mushy tone and not even apologies for the repeated forgetting and brazen waiting times. We had to wait 2.30 hours for the main course and half of it was forgotten. Wir wollten einen schönen Abend am Valentinstag verbringen. Das Lokal war - erwartbar - sehr gut besucht. Das Management des Gästeansturms war leider nicht so gut. Da die Tische über den Abend verteilt mehrfach belegt waren, mussten viele - auch wir - trotz Reservierung ca. 15 Minuten warten ehe wir einen Platz an der Bar und nochmal 20 Minuten warten, ehe wir einen Tisch bekamen. Der (Garten-)Tisch war leider alles andere als sauber. Nasse Tischdecke, Sojasaucenflecken, Krümel, etc. Außerdem direkt im Eingangsbereich gelegen, so dass es die ganze Zeit kalt den Rücken hochzog (ich bin wirklich unempfindlich). Nach insgesamt etwa 75-80 Minuten hatten wir die Vorspeise. Da fehlten dann nur noch die Stäbchen/ das Besteck. Mit ein bisschen Eigeninitiative ging das aber recht flott. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Die Portionen für den Preis (Sushi und Fleisch gibt es halt nicht kostenlos) noch vertretbar. Vom Hausherren gab es dann, weil wir warten mussten, zwei Getränke aufs Haus. Wenn wir nicht gerade vom Hausherren bedient wurden, war die Bedienung etwas unaufmerksam. Das lag womöglich an dem Gästeansturm. Da wir das erste Mal dort waren, habe ich keinen Vergleich. Kommen wir wieder? Wir wissen es noch nicht.

Today I celebrated my birthday at Milo and received a very warm welcome. It is a very nice, fine & cozy restaurant. The food & drinks are very tasty. What I found very sweet is that I was given a small plate for dessert (because of my birthday). I was very satisfied & am very grateful for the service and the lovely food :)

If the location were in the city center, for me it would be one of the best in Hamburg. But it's not far away either. Starter with the peppers baked in batter was a taste bomb! The beef fillet was a dream, delicately seasoned...you couldn't ask for more. Highly recommended 👌👌👌! Service very nice, thank you!

Sushi is not tasty. Plus, I waited 4 hours for delivery. The restaurant’s Instagram account says that delivery is available daily from 12:00. I ordered sushi at 15:00, I received confirmation by email that the order had been accepted and delivery would be in approximately 45 minutes. After waiting an hour and a half, I started calling and they told me that they are open from 17:00 and as soon as the kitchen opens, the first thing they will do is prepare my order. After which I had 5 more calls, where they promised me that in just another 5 minutes everything would be delivered. As a result, they were delivered only at 18:50. That is, after 4 hours. In addition to all this, no compliment or discount was offered. The service is terrible, the sushi too

Zuckersüßer Service . Sehr nett und freundlich! Essen war qualitativ wirklich top . Sowohl Steak als auch Sushi waren prima . Etwas befremdlich war jedoch dass die Preise auf der Karte alles Netto Preise waren, zuzüglich MwSt. Es wird auch nirgends auf der Karte drauf hingewiesen ……1 kleiner Stern Abzug dafür . Nirgends in Deutschland hab ich das bisher gesehen…..

Ein kulinarisches Erlebnis der Extraklasse! Das Milo ist ein wirkliches Highlight! Das schöne Ambiente und der freundliche Service schaffen eine entspannte Atmosphäre. Die Auswahl an Sushi ist beeindruckend. Jeder Teller ist ein Kunstwerk für sich. Besonders empfehlen können wir die Sushi Tasting Reise Omakase. Die Getränkekarte bietet eine große Auswahl an leckeren Cocktails. Die kreative Küche überrascht mit innovativen Kreationen. Das Milo ist ein Muss für jeden Sushi-Liebhaber in Hamburg. Kann ich wärmstens empfehlen. Ein tolles kulinarisches Erlebnis!

Kalte und ungemütliche Atmosphäre. Der Service war eine 1/10, extrem unaufmerksam und verplant. Wir haben unsere halben Speisen noch liegen lassen, sind 190€ los geworden und enttäuscht nachhause gefahren. Steak Filet voller sehnen und fett, Püree versalzen und schmeckt wie aus Pulver gemacht, Pommes kommen kalt an, Lachs riecht nach von vor 4 Wochen gefangen und auf das ganze wartet man 1 Stunde. Sind Stammkunden beim Ono und henssler und henssler, wir wissen was gutes essen ist, das Lokal hab absolut nichts damit zu tun. Wir haben die ganzen Anmerkungen unserem Service mitgeteilt, außer einer halbherzigen Entschuldigung kam nichts. Nie nie nie wieder, da gehe ich lieber zu mecces. Ganz traurige Erfahrung.

Overall, everything was excellent, including the atmosphere, food, and location. I highly recommend the beef tataki as a starter; it's delicious! However, the restaurant is quite small, so if you have a table for two, expect the neighboring tables to be very close. The atmosphere is intended to be romantic and quiet, yet I was puzzled by a group of about ten grown men who chose this place, as they behaved as if they were in a pub. Nevertheless, the staff handled the situation very well by adjusting the music, which improved the ambiance. I particularly appreciated how they presented the bill in an elegant and fashionable box, making it easy to leave a tip. But there was a strange incident when the waitress brought the bill (I was paying by card). I checked it, acknowledged it was fine, and then we had an awkward moment of staring at each other for about five seconds before she mentioned that the bill wasn't included in the payment. This was a bit unusual as it's typically addressed after you pay and the waitress leaves, but I suppose it was just a misunderstanding.

Офіціант дуже зіпсував настрій, в закладі було холодно і руки в туалеті довелося мити крижаною водою.. Їжа була нормальною, не прямо супер, і явно не вартувала таких коштів. В результаті можу сказати, що сюди явно не повернемось.

Wir waren erstmals im Milo und sehr gespannt, wie es wird, nachdem wir unterschiedliche Bewertungen gelesen hatten. Wir wurden von Anfang an nett bedient und können nur Gutes über das (natürlich nicht ganz günstige) Essen sagen. Wir hatten vorweg das Beef Tataki und den Crispy Duck Salat und können beides empfehlen. Für die Hauptspeise haben wir uns drei Sushi geteilt. Drip Roll, French Duck Roll und Tiffanys Favorite Roll hatten wir. Alle waren super. Bei den Getränken haben wir uns für den Sauvignon Blanc und das IPA entschieden. Auch das können wir beides empfehlen.

Echt pricey, aber verdammt lecker und absolut gerechtfertigt! Wir waren heute im Milo und wurden von der einen Kellnerin so herzlichst empfangen. Der Service war von Anfang bis Ende einfach grandios! Die Speisen war auch einfach nur lecker… Überzeugt euch selbst von den Fotos! Wir kommen wieder 🔥

Ausgezeichnet. War an einem Mittwochabend dort, um mir Sushi To Go heraus zu holen. Meine Bestellung wurde sehr nett, sofort und kompetent bearbeitet. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die zuvorkommende, höfliche und engagierte Art des Service, hier durch Marie. Das Essen dann zu Hause war hervorragend und geschmacklich äußerst lecker. Das Team ist freundlich und entgegengekommen. Wir haben 2 Stunden auf unser Essen gewartet, da noch außer Haus Service statt gefunden hat. Worüber anfangs leider nicht informiert wurde. Wir waren uns alle einig das die Preise für die Qualität einfach viel zu hoch ist… Die Gerichte wurden lieblos abgerichtet. Nichts fürs Auge. Das Steak war leider auch nicht in der Garstufe wie gewünscht …. Beilagen waren auf der Karte gelistet die es nicht mehr gibt. Im ganzen leider nicht zu empfehlen.

Wir haben einen Tisch für 6 Personen reserviert und wurden an einen kleinen Tisch, ohne Deko gesetzt, der in einer Ecke war. Der gesamte Service hat nicht gestimmt, auch wenn das Essen an sich gut war. Die Preise passen aber leider überhaupt nicht! Leider einmal und nie wieder!

Das Ambiente ist recht klein, aber sehr eng betischt. Wenn man in der mittleren Reihe sitzt, ist es sehr unruhig. Die Bedienung ist zwar sehr zuvorkommend - nach 1 1/2 Stunden war unsere Vorspeise noch nicht fertig trotz einem Platz, wo sie ständig durchlaufen. Das Main Dish wurde noch nicht einmal angefangen vorbereitet zu werden. Selbst wenn man über the fork 50% „einspart“ zahlt man hier mehr mit seiner verlorenen Lebenszeit. Das Essen ist ok. Sushi ähnlich wie vom Lieferdienst.

Essen okay aber lange Wartezeit trotz leerem Laden. Steak kam mit verbrannter Kruste. Service war maximal durchschnittlich. Billige Holz Stäbchen wie vom Lieferservice Es gibt keinen Garderobe und ist allgemein sehr eng. Alles in allem macht der Laden einen auf Highclass aber wird dem nicht mal ansatzweise gerecht und ist für das was geboten wird viel zu teuer.

Wir waren zu viert zum ersten Mal in diesem Restaurant! Das Restaurant ist gemütlich schick. Auf die Getränkebestellung mussten wir lange warten. Die Vorspeise, Salat mit Chicken, war großartig. Edamame schrecklich. Geschmacklich gut aber alle in der Hülse. Also mit den Händen essen. Reinigungstücher gibt es nicht. Drei Biere von der Karte nicht vorhanden. Gewünschtes Gemüse nicht vorhanden. Hauptgerichte gut aber m E. den hohen Preis nicht wert Ein Restaurant das schick und elegant sein möchte aber noch sehr viel an Standard lernen muss. Wir sind satt geworden, werden aber nicht wieder kommen...

Es gibt Restaurants, zu denen geht man wegen dem guten Essen. Es gibt Restaurants, zu denen geht man, wegen freundlichen Menschen im Service, die erkennen, was man so braucht. Es gibt Lokalitäten, bei denen man sich wohl fühlt. Hier bei Milo kommt einfach alles zusammen. Wir waren heute drei Personen, die eine tolle Unterhaltung führen können, weil der Rahmen und die Umgebung perfekt passen. Danke für den schönen Ausklang eines turbulenten Tages für uns. Unfortunately, the vegan kebab is no longer available. Already three times I was put off with “not today, but always Brudaa” Otherwise it was very tasty. It's a shame it's no longer offered

We ate delicious bouallbaisse and cod salimboca, we enjoyed it and the staff were very friendly. Unfortunately the wine was not as described to us, hence a star deduction.

Die Erwartungshaltung war sicherlich hoch, wurde allerdings nicht ganz erfüllt. Wir hatten die komplette Auswahl an Vorspeisen; sehr schön angerichtet und von sehr guter Qualität, kann uneingeschränkt empfohlen werden. Beim Hauptgang ist die Auswahl relativ klein (war vorher schon bekannt) und hat uns in der Qualität und Zubereitung nicht ganz überzeugt. Aber eben, vielleicht waren die Erwartungen auch zu hoch. Für einen Apéro mit Vorspeisen aber jederzeit gerne wieder.
