A really good restaurant, with lots of delicious food and a lovely atmosphere. I can recommend it to everyone. But it's best to reserve a table in advance, as it's always busy.

It deserves its 5 stars! The food was really delicious and the service was very attentive and friendly. The portions were also quite large. I recommend it. I had the 98 gyro with cheese and Metaxa sauce. It came with rice and fries.

A culinary gem in Dresden: Metaxa impresses all around! Metaxa in Dresden completely captivated me and is definitely worth a visit if you're looking for excellent Greek cuisine and an all-around pleasant atmosphere. The food is simply delicious. Every dish I tried was freshly prepared, authentically seasoned, and simply a delight. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the passion with which they cook. But what makes a visit to Metaxa even more unforgettable is the super friendly staff. From the moment you greet us to the moment you leave, you feel truly welcome and well looked after. The service is attentive, friendly, and contributes significantly to the relaxed atmosphere. I can wholeheartedly recommend Metaxa Dresden and am already looking forward to my next visit!

A super friendly welcome. We got a nice spot on the terrace, even though we didn't have a reservation. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Free parking is available. We highly recommend the restaurant.

We decided on Metaxa thanks to the good online reviews and are a bit disappointed 😞. Reserving a table was no problem. The friendliness was also good 👍. Unfortunately, we weren't satisfied with the food. We ordered a grill platter for two people. The platter was bland, and the steaks and gyros were very dry, which really bothered me. I've had better meals at other restaurants.

Truly as recommended in the reviews, a very nice restaurant with very friendly service, and the food we had was truly delicious. I had the fillet plate with lamb, beef, and pork fillets with baked potatoes, and my friend had the zander fillet with croquettes. Before that, there was a small salad plate. It was delicious, and everyone was full. The only thing that's a bit annoying is the traffic on Hamburger Straße when you sit outside, which unfortunately can't be changed. 👍💜

I ate the lamb knuckle gratinated (really delicious) and was served by a real Greek. Parking directly at the house. The terrace is nice but the street in front of it is not. The interior is very nice and tastefully decorated. Highly recommended.

One of the best restaurants I've been to! Greek cuisine at the highest level - everything was incredibly tasty, fresh and served very quickly. The service deserves special mention - the waiters are true professionals: polite, helpful and customer-oriented. This has nothing to do with Greek food. Neither tasteful nor emphatic. Unfriendly, impolite, and the food tastes far away from being described as Greek. Meat quality is terrible. I'm surprised it's rated so well, but that shows me that the selection of Greek restaurants in Dresden is poor and people don't know anything else.

The restaurant was recommended to us by the receptionist at our hotel in Dresden. A quick call to make a dinner reservation for 2 was enough. Friendly service who brought two ouzo as an aperitif to the drinks we ordered. After a while of waiting, we receive the ordered food: Grilled pepperoni, grilled liver with gyros and garlic potatoes and gyros metaxa gratinated, with fries and rice. On top of that there was a bowl of bread and tzatziki. Very tasty and well seasoned, portion size completely sufficient, lots of garlic :-D At the end we got two ouzos on the house, we'll be happy to come back

We have been eating here for a long time and would love to eat here again and again. For this reason you have to reserve early and then you can enjoy a wonderful evening. The restaurant is very busy and yet you always receive a warm welcome. The service staff is extremely friendly and attentive. Children also get their money's worth and are always warmly welcomed. Very nice Greek restaurant with a very good price-performance ratio.

We went to this restaurant today and I loved it. The food tastes incredibly good and I can highly recommend the baked steak. The employees were extremely nice. The toilets are quite small, but enough to do your business. There is a wide selection of food and drinks. I would give 100/5 stars. Very great enjoyment. There is also a children's menu with delicious dishes such as schnitzel, pasta and fries. The non-alcoholic cocktails are AMAZING and also taste incredibly delicious. You should definitely have eaten here before. You can also take leftover food with you.

Food was really great. The staff was always friendly and always tried to offer the best service despite the full restaurant. What bothered us a bit was that on Valentine's Day you were asked to pay after a certain time because the next guests were already waiting for the table in the entrance. But nonetheless, we would eat there again.

Es war einfach ein schöner Abend, unser Essen war qualitativ auf einem hohen Niveau, alles Frisch , das Fleisch und die Zutaten hochwertig, ich bin einfach sprachlos über den Service und die Qualität. Ich bin sehr kritisch was Ambiente und Service sowie das Angebot der Speisen entspricht aber das ist wirklich der Hammer. 5 Sterne der Crew und dem Chef der sich im Nachhinein zu erkennen gegeben hat. I was in Dresden on business. The restaurant is right next to the hotel. Service friendly, food very tasty. Oh yes, I was here at the beginning of December. It's easy to imagine that in summer you might have to wait a little longer, but that's acceptable given the delicious food. Thank you, I will definitely come back on my next stay
