Very good you can do very friendly

Went there for lunch, good price for lunch, might not be worth it for dinner since is more expensive, but they might bring more food diversity for dinner. Tried some sushi, none of them had fish, mostly you can get some crab sticks inside the sushi. Average deserts. Some foods were different and some had no taste but overall it can please even some picky eaters.

Great all-you-can-eat restaurant. Also recommended for families with children, as it has its own indoor playground. The drink dispensers are a highlight for both adults and children. A smaller buffet at lunchtime is therefore cheaper. In the evening, a large buffet with steak and seafood, as well as live cooking, is understandably more expensive than at lunchtime. One star deducted due to high drink prices and a lack of a sensible ventilation system in the warm summer months.

Well, this is a buffet where everyone gets their money's worth, and it's absolutely worth it. Our service was excellent and very, very friendly. And the little robot for drinks is, of course, a little extra. It's really funny and a definite plus that you don't have to wait long for drinks. With the tray, you don't have to ask a waiter for help, and you always have your bill in view, I think that's absolutely fantastic. Thanks for a lovely evening.

A very large selection of food. Sushi, Chinese, Italian, side dishes, vegetables, a salad bar, pizza, and a large dessert selection. There's a fish and meat station for the barbecue. There's truly something for everyone here. The highlight is the cat robots that deliver drinks. There's a separate play area for children. It won't be the last time we're there.

We ate here for the open buffet. The selection and taste were fine, and the value for money was good. Unfortunately, our visit was seriously marred by the service at the table: After we had already left a €7 tip, the waitress approached us directly and explicitly asked if we wanted to give more. When we pointed out that we had already left €7, she asked for a larger amount again. This seemed pushy and very unpleasant. Tipping is a voluntary expression of appreciation for good service and should never be actively requested. This behavior overshadowed an otherwise solid buffet experience and left us with an uncomfortable feeling. It's a shame, because with friendly, unobtrusive communication when paying at the table, our impression would have been much better.

We visited MemorieZ for the first time today – we were there for lunch on a Friday. The size of the restaurant immediately struck us – there's plenty of seating. The buffet is centrally located and visually appealing. All the dishes tasted very good. Only for dessert did a cake from "Coppenrath and Wiese" catch my eye. The printed base plate was still under the frozen food. I found this a bit of a shame. The service was good – you order drinks via a tablet, and they're brought promptly by a robot. That's a sweet treat. Your plates are regularly cleared by a waiter. When we ate there, it wasn't crowded – the atmosphere was quiet and relaxed. However, I've heard that this is different on weekend evenings.

I highly recommend this place. We experienced a pleasant atmosphere.

We've been there twice now and are very satisfied. The food selection is huge, and there's something for everyone, even for people who aren't so keen on Asian food. There's also a BBQ grill station and a fish station where meat, vegetables, or fish are freshly fried. There is one small criticism, though... The drink prices are, in my opinion, far too high. It's a shame; they could be better.

We visited Memories in Dortmund and were initially very curious about the concept. You order drinks via a tablet, the delivery is done by robots, and you pick up the food yourself. It's modern, interesting, and definitely something different. The food itself was really good, and we also liked the ambiance. However, we completely missed the personalized service during our visit: No one came to the table to ask if everything was okay or how we liked the food. While that would have been nice, it didn't bother us much at first. It became problematic when paying: The waiter only mentioned the price but didn't ask if everything was okay or if we liked the food. Instead, he directly asked us about tips, practically demanding them. In my opinion, that's not appropriate—tips should always be given voluntarily and out of appreciation. After we declined, the waiter reacted with an annoyed expression and a cynical noise. He then walked past our table several times, glaring at us, and we felt increasingly uncomfortable. In the end, we left the restaurant quickly because my mother and siblings felt very harassed by the behavior.

Very cozy atmosphere with a large selection of food

Large selection: various sushi rolls, fried noodles, rice, chicken/beef/duck like from a Chinese menu, fried foods, pizza, vegetables, soups, salads, etc.; and for dessert, various baked goods, fruit, and ice cream—if you can't find what you're looking for there, you should cook your own ;)

I recently discovered this restaurant and went there for the second time today. I was very impressed and can only recommend MemorieZ. The food was delicious and the selection was enormous. The buffet offers sushi, sashimi, kimchi, salads, rice, soups, finger food, ready-made Asian dishes, a BBQ grill with various vegetables and meats, a Mongolian grill with all kinds of fish and seafood, and a huge selection of desserts. The buffet is regularly refilled and is always tidy, clean, and beautifully presented. Overall, the restaurant has a very tidy and clean appearance. And last but not least, the staff are really friendly, quick in their service, and extremely accommodating.

Am Wochenende viel Auswahl. Von der Vorspeise bis zum Nachtisch. Kinderfreundlich, mit kleinem Spielplatz. Die Preise für Kinder sind des Alters entsprechend. Sauber war es auch. Qualität hat leider nachgelassen, deshalb Sternabzug. Einige Soucen haben kaum Geschmack.

They cook very tasty food, you can sit quietly with a group of friends, the room is very large, there is a large selection of seafood, vegetables, shashlik, sweets and sushi.

The food is okay, but it's designed for the masses; it has to be quick. Drinks are quite expensive, but that's pretty standard these days. Recommended for large groups, but if you want a relaxed meal in a smaller group, I'd rather go somewhere else.

I was there for the first time about two weeks ago. The ambiance itself is modern and pleasant. There's no service, as it's a buffet, and drinks are brought from a cat-like robotic trolley after you order them on a tablet. The restaurant is a buffet; the price per person was just under €30. Drinks are not included and must be paid extra. The food itself was okay. Considering it's such a large buffet area, the selection of Asian dishes is limited. There's a lot of fried food. There are also various types of pasta and pizza. I would choose that if I were going to an Italian restaurant. The meat selection for the grill is really good and very extensive. Unfortunately, I found it annoying that you have to wait in front of the grill until the food is ready. Another thing to note is that there's a fish grill and a meat grill. Bring separate plates if you choose different dishes. It was my first time there, I didn't read the notice on the window, and the grill master was a bit annoyed because he had to tear my plate apart. But understandable, since I wasn't the only one :-) Sorry about that. Otherwise, they have a nice dessert selection, including fruit, a chocolate fountain, and a self-service ice cream counter including a mini Magnum. When paying, I was kindly informed about the option to tip. I did so out of courtesy, but afterwards it was unnecessary, as I wondered why I was even doing it, since I had more contact with the cat robot than with the staff. In summary, it was delicious and perfectly fine, but I would still prefer another competitor, as the same price includes all drinks, the Asian food selection is similar, and your grilled food is brought to your table.

I liked a lot of things – a large selection of products. Modern, cozy, stylish. The biggest downside for me, however, was waiting in line at the grill! You come to eat – not to watch your food being grilled. I waited over 30 minutes. The competition is much better organized in this regard: You give your order to the waiter along with your table number, enjoy the conversation at the table – and wait for the food to arrive! And not stand by and watch the food being prepared!!! That's a really big downside! I hope this will be improved in the future!!!

The food is very convenient. The cakes aren't homemade, but frozen, factory-made. There's only a very limited selection of sushi; everything is very simple. Flies love the meat and fish at the grill counter, so we didn't even dare try them. The hot food: the sauces aren't Chinese or Italian; they're all lame and not typical of the region. We paid €27 and only tried a few, but didn't find anything particularly tasty. Expensive, though. Value for money is only good if you can and want to eat a lot and quality isn't important. There's much better in Bochum and Dortmund. The clientele is also very simple. Combing your hair and dressing decently shouldn't be too much to ask.

We were there for the lunch buffet today at 1:30 PM. The salad bar was almost empty, and they weren't refilling anything. The other bars were also very reasonable. The drink prices are outrageously high. €4.20 for a small Coke. We were glad we didn't have children with us; they wouldn't have had anything except ice cream, sweets, and maybe fries. When I consider that I would have to pay €22 for an 11-year-old child in the evening, without drinks, I wonder who else would pay for that. The service was very friendly, but they only used one cloth to wipe down the chairs and tables. This had nothing to do with hygiene.

Great buffet and friendly service. Only the automated drink service, carried out by robots, leaves something to be desired. While they can bring drinks to the tables automatically, their sense of direction is still limited, so orders are either "forgotten" or the robots get in each other's way and have to be manually corrected. The idea, however, is quite nice.

We went to Memoriez for lunch today. The selection/variety of dishes until 3 p.m. was okay, though less so than in the evening. Unfortunately, it was difficult for vegans, which I can't understand these days. Most of the dishes were delicious, a few weren't quite as warm, but that didn't bother us. The sushi was particularly delicious. Our drinks were brought by a robot. A waiter took our plates at the end and asked if we wanted to pay now. (Table 22) I paid and was asked to fill out something at the same time. The waiter hesitated several times with the change, fidgeted noticeably, and repeatedly mentioned the amount even though I had already given him the bill. I was still waiting for the change... when suddenly he said, "Don't you want to leave a tip at all??" ... I was very offended by that. I gave him a few coins anyway. He then pocketed them without a word (!!) and without even a thank you, and immediately walked away! That was really cheeky and brazen. The visit was otherwise nice, but the behavior is completely unacceptable to me.

I don't really bother with reviews like this. But for this, I simply have to say how bad the evening was. The food was tasteless, whether I was eating a piece of sushi or an "Argentinian steak"... it made no difference. Service was just as "good" as the food. Never again

Well, what's really unacceptable is the older lady serving in the restaurant. She's very pushy. I can understand wanting to be friendly and trying to be humorous, but I don't want my belly rubbed or my shoulder touched. Then there's the pushy requests for tips from a waiter we never saw (except for the bill), and the burnt food from the grill.

The food is OK. You place your orders using an iPad, and the food is then delivered by mobile robots. The buffet is varied, but the quality could be improved in some places (especially the desserts).

Unfortunately, it was very hot in the restaurant, and we sweated while eating – it was unpleasant. This time, there was also a lot of smoke from the barbecue in the room; there was probably a problem with the exhaust ventilation. With better ventilation and a functioning extractor hood, the experience would have been much more pleasant.

I was at the Memoriez restaurant. The food was truly delicious and the service very friendly—everything was top-notch! Unfortunately, it was extremely hot in the restaurant, so I could barely eat anything. I only ate a little, then mostly ordered ice cream, and went to the bath several times to refresh my face with cold water. It would be nice if they provided better ventilation or air conditioning in the summer—then the experience would be perfect. Nevertheless: great food and super friendly staff!

We do it once a year for the kids, and they love it every time. I think it's okay, but nothing more. It's very crowded, very loud, and the place has the feel of a food orgy. It's certainly a matter of taste.

A really cool restaurant, next to Superfly in Dortmund Kley. They have just about everything a gourmet heart desires. A large selection of sushi specialties. Fish and steak can be grilled on-site. Hygiene is top-notch, with chefs and staff wearing face masks. Very child-friendly, with a dedicated play/jumping area for kids. Several restrooms, plenty of tables... Nicely designed. One thing that has declined is the fruit selection... There's not much fresh fruit! Pineapple, for example, is often mushy. It's better to reserve a table on Saturdays, as it gets way too crowded! Prices have gone up, like everywhere else!

We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening at this wonderful restaurant. Upon entering, we were warmly welcomed and escorted to a lovingly set table. The service was attentive, friendly, and yet pleasantly unobtrusive. The meal was a true highlight! Each course not only tasted excellent, but was also beautifully presented. We were particularly impressed by the freshness of the ingredients and the creative combination of flavors; you can immediately tell that the food here is cooked with great attention to detail.

You get everything you want in buffet style. I really like the signs that remind guests to fill their plates in moderation so that too much isn't wasted. You can go as often as you like. The ambiance is more like a dining room in a large all-inclusive hotel on vacation. It's just a crowd that satisfies their hunger. The robots that bring the drinks are nice. The sushi selection was impressive, it was incredibly fresh and flavorful. Each piece was crafted with care and presented beautifully. The seafood dishes were just as outstanding—especially the grilled shrimp platter and the crispy calamari, which were cooked to perfection. The service was top-notch. The staff was friendly, attentive, and more than happy to help us choose from the menu. They even offered some off-menu specials that turned out to be highlights of the evening. Prices were fair for the quality and portion sizes, and we left feeling full and satisfied. Overall, Memoriez is a must-visit for anyone who loves sushi , seafood , pizza lazania and many fried foods .The quality, service, and ambiance make it one of the best dining spots I’ve tried recently. We've been there four times now with the family. The reception staff was very friendly, the food was really great, and the place was very clean and well-maintained. The service was really great, especially the waitress with the red hair.

The shop is really nice and appealing, but what's missing is air conditioning. The air is very stuffy and stuffy; it just gets very unpleasant to spend time there after a while. The food tastes really good, but the selection is really limited, but still okay. What's absolutely unacceptable is that the waiter walks past the table every five minutes and looks very unpleasantly at the food and everything you have on the table. The same thing happens when you put food on your plate. The waiter always looks so unfriendly and unpleasant and gives you the impression that you're already putting too much on it, so it's best not to eat at all. However, I've experienced this phenomenon in every restaurant that offers all-you-can-eat. I thought MemorieZ would be different, but it's not. I personally avoid the shop. If you're going to pay high prices for food, then everything has to be right.

Overall, we had a very positive experience at the restaurant. The buffet selection was huge; everything was fresh, delicious, and attractively presented. The restaurant itself is very large, modernly decorated, and yet well-organized – it never felt crowded. The large indoor playground deserves special mention; it was a real highlight for children. This is an absolute plus for families with children and greatly contributes to a relaxed visit. My only criticism: At the end of the visit, the service staff asked me several times for a tip – three times in quick succession. Unfortunately, this seemed a bit pushy and somewhat tarnished the otherwise very pleasant overall impression. Therefore, I'm deducting one star. Nevertheless: Highly recommended, we'd be happy to come back!

Very good food with minor drawbacks I was at Memoriez recently and was really satisfied overall. The atmosphere in the restaurant is modern and inviting, with a lovely Asian flair – you immediately feel at home. The food was very tasty and freshly prepared. The open buffet offers a good selection, and there's also something for vegetarians. One minor criticism: The service was friendly but a bit slow in places – for example, we had to wait quite a long time for our drinks. Still a great restaurant with high-quality Asian cuisine. I'll definitely be back – and hope the service is a bit more attentive next time.

We got a VIP room just for us (14 people), even with our own toilet 🤭 where can you find such luxury? 😉 The service was great, nothing to complain about! The buffet is always refilled, with plenty of choice. Medium lamb from the grill was said to be very tender and tasty and was a hit with the men. After the starter soup, main course, sushi and plenty of dessert (2 chocolate fountains), no one went home hungry 😉 The atmosphere is bright and clean, the staff is nice and friendly. We really liked it there. P.S. There is probably a playground for the kiddos, where the parents can sit at the table in the immediate vicinity (but it's better to ask, I think)

Last evening we were at Memoriez with our 2 friends. The food was good. However, the employee was an absolute disgrace. I have never been served as unfriendly as yesterday. When we all wanted to pay at the end, we were just cheekily asked if we didn't want to round up (tip). When we said no, the employee became a little cheekier. We wished him a nice evening and he said, "You don't have to wish me any more now." When I asked again what he had said, he just said have a nice evening. Our friends also said no and then he asked if the two of them were having a bad day. I find it an absolute disgrace. Unfortunately I also find the drinks very expensive. For a small Pepsi almost 5€, pretty much...

MemorieZ surprised us a lot. The concept is an extensive open buffet. A very nice atmosphere and very nice staff. The food was really delicious. The open buffet offers something for every man. You can find everything from vegetarian to fish or meat dishes. There is also a good selection of fresh fish and steak, which is freshly prepared. It was also nice that both grills were separate. It was also pleasant that there was a play area for children as well as tables in the quiet area. There was also a candy bar with chocolate fountains and fruit. The fruit could have been replaced more often if necessary, as bananas change color quickly. There could also have been more selection in the fruit section. However, this is not necessarily a point of criticism given the large selection of all kinds of food. The drinks are ordered at the table using an iPad and brought by a robot. We were very satisfied and would definitely recommend the restaurant. According to the supplier, the meat dishes in the restaurant are Helal. However, there is no certificate.

I (unfortunately) didn't eat any of the suschi or the grill station. The selection is very large, but unfortunately there are some things you can't enjoy. You can forget about lasagna, pizza, pasta and salmon. Unfortunately, the fried noodles and squid rings were also disappointing. The duck was really tasty and the chicken was quite good. Sure, you want to offer something for everyone, but also in good quality. Desserts like ice cream, cakes and fruits were good.
