We were there for the first time yesterday and were thrilled. The quality is very good, everything was fresh and tasty. The selection was also very large. We would love to come back again.

The restaurant is actually nice. There are different rooms and layouts so that it won't be too cramped to sit. Unfortunately, the service wasn't that attentive and we had to wait longer until we got drinks or our plates were cleared away. We were there right at 3 p.m., when it opened, and yet it was like that. What was unfortunately really sad or disappointing was the over-seasoning of many of the dishes... they were very salty or sometimes inedible for us due to other spices... that's disappointing considering the price! (Is this perhaps intended to generate more sales through drinks? :-P) The dessert buffet and the steaks were delicious! But there's no reason for us to come back, the competition is simply much better.

It was my first time there and I was very satisfied. Something for everyone and so deliciously prepared. Depending on your taste, a little too much salt, but everyone has a different opinion. But still deserves 5 stars!

There was a large selection of skewers, unfortunately most of the ones I ate were over seasoned (too salty). The staff was friendly but either quite forgetful, uncoordinated or completely overwhelmed. We sometimes waited over an hour for our drink. There were 4 waiters in the area where we were alone and it still seemed too difficult to serve a table. I would have hoped for more.

Super comfortable despite the size. Great ambience and the food was fantastically delicious. The service was super friendly and helpful. The buffet was always refilled immediately. We'll definitely be back.

Great selection of a wide variety of dishes and the taste was also very good with small drawbacks (Kaiserschmarrn and the normal tiramisu, for example). Service was friendly and attentive. Chairs rather uncomfortable. Would come again!

We always try to find something that we don't like, but it just doesn't work! Everything is seasoned harmoniously, so it's not just presented, but actually cooked as part of a large dish. We are always very impressed by the variety on offer. The ambience, the relaxed atmosphere, the generous space between the tables, the friendly and unobtrusive service staff; everything just fits! Thanks Please keep it up... Unfortunately, around 200 parking spaces in front of the door were incomprehensibly blocked and the parking garage was closed. But Eatalio is certainly not responsible for this.

I have never seen a larger and more varied buffet. Whether meat, fish, side dishes, starters or desserts, everything is extremely delicious!

Only recommended! Everything an Italian heart desires is here. There is a great selection of antipasti! All kinds of pasta and pizza. Sundays are fish and seafood day. It is served with whole salmon. The dessert corner is very well stocked with tiramisu and co! We'd love to come back!

Everything was excellent, the food was great, everything tasted great despite the huge amounts of food. The service is incredibly fast with the drinks and this atmosphere immediately makes you feel at home! Keep it up!

Very tasty food. Unfortunately I think the price is a bit too high. Families with children can quickly lose 150 euros, as drinks are not included. Actually, you can get a well-filled plate in a steakhouse for the money. But the selection and taste were very good.

We were there today with 6 people, 4 of them for the first time. The positive experience started as soon as we arrived, when the young waitress led us to our table at the bottom of the world, saw our faces, apologized and immediately ran off to look for another table. Even though it was full she managed to get us a table and collected her first tip after 5 minutes. All in all the Seevice is very good, we only had to wait longer for a beer once. About the food: Contrary to what the name suggests, not just Italian. Across the board when it comes to meat, fish, side dishes and desserts. Quality, quantity, selection absolutely good. At the price. We were able to eat for 2 hours and for 36.90 what was on offer was absolutely reasonable. If that's too expensive for you, get 3 steaks on the grill and get the money back. We thank you for the great evening and would be happy to come back

The buffet was enormous. I was there on Sundays when they offer unlimited king prawns. Dubai specialties have also been added. As usual, the atmosphere suffers among the crowds of visitors. In the upper part there are only pure tables and chairs, nothing cozy, screens or the like would be nice to achieve some privacy. The employees were consistently nice.

The food is good and tasty. The buffet was very varied and always well stocked. Despite many visitors, no queue.

POSITIVE: If you want to experience food in an extraordinary ambience. Then you've come to the right place. Super friendly staff. Huge selection of food and drinks at a reasonable price. NEGATIVE: The only thing that's annoying is the entertainment acoustics, it's loud. And the fabrics on the walls and ceilings are dusty. The toilet was cleaned too rarely and there was not enough toilet paper in some cases.

We went to Eatalio on a Sunday at 5 p.m. with a table reservation for two people. It took about 20 minutes until we were seated at a table because apparently all the tables were occupied and the restaurant was overbooked. The staff was friendly. The ambience exudes an industrial hall feeling. The buffet had a very large selection of Italian and international dishes. The taste of the food was okay, but you could tell that it had been kept warm for a long time and was therefore "over" were. (Burger patty dry, some pasta dishes very softly cooked) But given the size of the restaurant, it's no surprise when you have an estimated 300 guests in the restaurant at the same time. At peak times, prepared plates have to be delivered to the buffet. There are several variations in the style of Dubai chocolate at the dessert buffet. The Eatalio is very child-friendly, there were always children dancing and running between the tables. I can't say whether we'll come back again...

The food was very tasty and there was a huge selection. The waitress was also very nice and kept asking if everything was okay. Only the parking options are currently not good, but apparently only because the parking lot in front of the house is currently being renovated. We'd love to come back.

The food was very, very tasty. The staff is super friendly, funny and on the ball. The buffet at €36.90 leaves nothing to be desired; everyone will find something here. We'll definitely be back.

We went to eatalio with the entire team of twelve people and we didn't regret it! The buffet was extremely appetizing and high quality for an AYCE, and so extensive that with the best will in the world you couldn't even try everything. Of course it's a big shop, it's loud, it's busy - not necessarily the place for a romantic candlelight dinner for two, but really great for larger groups, families with hungry teenagers and the like ;) The price is absolutely appropriate for the quality offered and of course the quantity, the service is fast and friendly, everything is great!

Eating is a matter of taste and it wasn't our taste, unfortunately everything tasted the same and unfortunately the buffet was very full

The food was excellent, the service was quick and attentive. I didn't think the location was that great, even though it was an old mine building. Was Pütti himself. Everything is too noisy, far too loud for my taste. Oh yes, the plates were too small. But that's thanks to the spasomaks who gorge themselves on the plate and don't finish it all.

Coincidentally, the place belongs to the same chain as the best tapas place I know. However, my expectations were accordingly, including large advertising for specials including Dubai Chocolate. Mixed feelings awaited us. The restaurant is really huge and the buffet is absolutely overcrowded. Especially since limiting the buffet until 8 p.m. ensures that the crowd can hardly be spread out. There were great salads, good pasta, top prawns, delicious dips, a huge selection, mediocre desserts and lousy pasta from the cheese wheel. The service was nice, everything was okay. Personally, despite the huge selection, I am a fan of quality over quantity, of course. It's a shame to entice people with, for example, the aforementioned Dubai Special, offering five low-quality desserts instead of one high-quality one. The crowd may be impressed by the crowd, and that was completely okay. However, we wouldn't come back again. What was great: the kitchen team managed to ensure that nothing was ever out of stock.

Unfortunately, our visit to Eatalio was anything but pleasant and will definitely be our last. Upon arrival, there was no possibility of parking near the restaurant with a disabled person and appropriate ID. This set a negative tone for the entire evening. We were seated at a table at the far end of the restaurant. When we asked to swap tables, we were told that this was not possible because many guests with walkers were still expected. We were there at 3 p.m. and stayed until 6 p.m. - not a single elderly person or anyone with a walker was in sight. This reasoning was not only inaccurate, but made us feel unwelcome. The staff was overall unpleasant and sometimes rude. The taste of the food was okay, but the surroundings left a lot to be desired: very worn, partly dirty tables, uncomfortable wooden chairs without cushions. From 6 p.m. it became extremely crowded - the atmosphere at the buffet was like chaos. It was particularly absurd that small dessert plates should serve as main course plates. A slice of pizza or some salad and the plate was full, which made eating even more difficult. Everything fell down - an unacceptable situation. In addition, the restaurant is in no way barrier-free. People with physical limitations have little chance of reaching the buffet or the toilets. This lack of accessibility and respect for guests with special needs is particularly disappointing. Conclusion: For us, a visit to Eatalio is “once and never again”. Despite good food, the overall experience is absolutely unsatisfactory due to poor service, inadequate facilities and a lack of accessibility. Very unfortunate.

The eatalio in Dortmund... ...isn't the little Italian restaurant around the corner where mom's recipes are cooked and you talk to the owner about the best wines. It's also not a cozy restaurant where the top 100 "Italian classics" are playing quietly in the background. It is a gigantic structure in which hundreds of people crowd around a buffet that feels like it stretches over hundreds of meters. The food is actually quite “okay” considering this fact, but the sheer endless choice is overwhelming. The “best/most popular” dishes are sold out quite quickly after being placed in the warming trays, often without regard to losses. A concept you have to like! For those of us who wanted to give it a chance, it was nothing. You feel like you're in a huge canteen where it doesn't matter if you quickly clear the occupied table because the next 50 people are already waiting in front of the door. However, price/performance is absolutely okay.

The ambience on the 3 floors was more like a canteen, we would visit again next time Make sure to sit downstairs because it somehow looks more comfortable there. We received excellent service despite it being very busy and our waiter always had an eye on us. The food was fantastic! We didn't really like the bedside tables, but that's a matter of taste. The food was super tasty with a lot of choice across the entire buffet. From starters to main courses and even desserts, there was something for each of us. We can especially recommend the spaghetti with real parmesan cheese, which is freshly prepared for you.

Parking is a disaster. It's not possible with a disability, even though there are parking spaces in front of the door. But they blocked it.

Eatalio is a really big location, so there is a lot of background noise. Depending on where you sit. Despite the size, the atmosphere is very cozy and stylish. Incredibly large selection of dishes, and everything very tasty. The service staff are constantly trying to refill, so everything is always there. The service is competent and friendly. My daughter and daughter-in-law invited me and my husband. All I can say is absolute class. The variety of dishes, the quality and the presentation speak for themselves. We hope that there will soon be an eatalio in Leipzig, where we come from.

We spontaneously decided to visit the restaurant today... We were lucky and got a table without a reservation. I think that was the only one that was free.🫢So definitely reserve in advance on the weekend.. One waitress particularly caught our eye...that was a young lady named Franziska. I have to say, it's really rare to find such friendly and courteous waiters!! And I've been to a lot of restaurants in other cities too... so big praise!!! The food was really diverse and extremely high quality (steak, fillet, salmon, beef steak...) Prices were just - ok- ☺️

How about nuggets with the fries so that children can get some too. Pizza absolutely delicious 😄

Food was OK, unfortunately the sauces are convenience, I couldn't tolerate them. Carpaccio had apparently been on the buffet for a long time and tasted old. The grilled meat was good. Dessert was also good. In general I wouldn't go there again. Price performance is not good.
