Personally, I think it's very good there. There is something for everyone from pizza to pasta to dessert, everyone will find something there. The ambience is really fascinating with the old walls and old pipes coming out of the earth. Unfortunately it's sometimes really overcrowded, but I'll definitely come back.

The eatalio in Dortmund... ...isn't the little Italian restaurant around the corner where mom's recipes are cooked and you talk to the owner about the best wines. It's also not a cozy restaurant where the top 100 "Italian classics" are playing quietly in the background. It is a gigantic structure in which hundreds of people crowd around a buffet that feels like it stretches over hundreds of meters. The food is actually quite “okay” considering this fact, but the sheer endless choice is overwhelming. The “best/most popular” dishes are sold out quite quickly after being placed in the warming trays, often without regard to losses. A concept you have to like! For those of us who wanted to give it a chance, it was nothing. You feel like you're in a huge canteen where it doesn't matter if you quickly clear the occupied table because the next 50 people are already waiting in front of the door. However, price/performance is absolutely okay.

We ate there for the first time and were amazed at how big the entire restaurant is. It extends over 3 floors, which seemed pretty big to us. The ambience on the 3 floors was more like a canteen, we would visit again next time Make sure to sit downstairs because it somehow looks more comfortable there. We received excellent service despite it being very busy and our waiter always had an eye on us. The food was fantastic! We didn't really like the bedside tables, but that's a matter of taste. Well, we definitely weren't there for the last time because the food is really special

The food was super tasty with a lot of choice across the entire buffet. From starters to main courses and even desserts, there was something for each of us. We can especially recommend the spaghetti with real parmesan cheese, which is freshly prepared for you.

Eatalio is a really big location, so there is a lot of background noise. Depending on where you sit. Despite the size, the atmosphere is very cozy and stylish. Parking is a disaster. It's not possible with a disability, even though there are parking spaces in front of the door. But they blocked it.

We spontaneously decided to visit the restaurant today... We were lucky and got a table without a reservation. I think that was the only one that was free.🫢So definitely reserve in advance on the weekend.. One waitress particularly caught our eye...that was a young lady named Franziska. I have to say, it's really rare to find such friendly and courteous waiters!! And I've been to a lot of restaurants in other cities too... so big praise!!! The food was really diverse and extremely high quality (steak, fillet, salmon, beef steak...) Prices were just - ok- ☺️

Went to Eatalio in Dortmund for the first time. The food was really delicious and very varied. Something for everyone. Clean and nicely presented and described exactly what it is. Minus points (my personal opinion) depending on where you have the table you have to walk really far, which is uncomfortable with a full stomach. It was very crowded at times and it was hard to reach the buffet, which I didn't find that good. The buffet is divided into several corners. Personally, I would have found it better if there had been a short introduction since you had to find your way around a bit. Not suitable for customers who don't eat pork or like it if they want to eat meat. Just like how much gelatin can be found. Then a very small point, I personally think Cola is better than Pepsi. Because the food was sometimes very salty, your thirst was further stimulated by Pepsi and so you basically drank more than you ate. We will still come back.

My husband and I went to this wonderful Italian restaurant for our anniversary and it was just perfect! The food was super delicious – every dish was a delight, freshly prepared and full of authentic flavors. The staff was extremely friendly, especially a very nice girl who served us and made our evening as pleasant as possible. The atmosphere was nice and relaxing, just right for a special occasion. All in all, our evening here was an absolute highlight, and we definitely enjoy coming back again and again. A highly recommended restaurant for anyone who values ​​good food and warm service!

If you are looking for a restaurant that offers high-quality cuisine and a special atmosphere, Eatalio is exactly the right choice. The all-you-can-eat concept is convincing across the board - quality has definitely not been compromised, especially with the meat and fish dishes. Everything was fresh, perfectly prepared and incredibly delicious! The atmosphere is also a highlight: an elegant, cozy interior combined with a modern industrial shell - this creates a truly unique experience that you would not expect in an all-you-can-eat restaurant. Despite the many guests and the lively atmosphere, it was surprisingly cozy and pleasant at the table.

The food is fantastic. There is a huge selection, which unfortunately I can't fully try on a single visit. The service was great. The waiter who served us was very friendly and polite. Drinks came quickly. Unfortunately, there were parents at the neighboring tables who couldn't control their children, who then screamed loudly and ran around. Unfortunately nothing was done about them. All in all, a repeat visit is highly recommended!!!

This restaurant is just good. The food is fantastic, as is the ambience (especially if you used to party in these halls). The absolute killer is the dessert - and I don't really like eating dessert. The diversity is insane. The selection of high-quality starters is also impressive. What is a bit negative for me personally is the extreme use of garlic. But that's because I don't tolerate it that well either. The pizzas are certainly not the best in the world either - as the dough often seems too thick and sometimes not fully baked. In addition, the prices are already set high - but quality has its price. But you really can't call it a "bargain" here. All in all, we always feel comfortable here.

Once and never again! Although there is a lot on the buffet, especially antipasti and salad, the warm dishes are at canteen level, some are cold and not tasty! Grilled steak was hard and not edible. Very expensive for this proud price of €35.90. Food is often too fatty! We were also seated in the entrance area, even though the reason for the visit was a birthday and not in the beautiful large hall. Every time we had to walk through a bunch of people waiting at reception with our food. Hand towels not refilled in the toilet.

Atmosphere was great. Service was great too. When we were brought to our table, we were immediately asked what we wanted to drink, and empty plates were also removed very quickly. There was a wide selection of food to choose from, with something for everyone. Unfortunately, some of the food was only lukewarm and tasted like ready-made food. Regarding the parking situation, it is a bit difficult to find a parking space because the restaurant's parking lot is cordoned off and covered in greenery.

Unfortunately an update to my previous review: In response to a request, I would like to go there again in a group, but there are 2 people who have undergone stomach surgery... who, if at all, can eat a children's portion... whether there would be the possibility of accommodating the buffet price , was simply rejected without any further explanation. Have you ever informed yourself?? On average, people can eat between 150 and 250g as a FULL meal... and you really want to collect 37 euros for that? Have you ever thought that the social aspect counts for these people? Want to be there and enjoy the atmosphere? I think it's really cheeky and a shame, I enjoyed coming here regularly before... that's changing now. Nobody wants to receive something as a gift, but it is completely unattractive and has no relationship. Old review: Nice location, nice staff, lots of choice. We have been here several times and have been satisfied every time. We were seated at a reserved table that was well past its best. Painted white, but the paint was peeling off again. Some of the chairs had upholstery, some didn't. You can try many different dishes, but unfortunately the WOW effect is missing, except for the desserts, which are very good. However, I would recommend using a little less sugar here. Unfortunately, I can't recommend the pizza - the dough tastes like a frozen pizza. Everything else was very good, the hygiene is impeccable, and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The service is also quick. Two points deducted for food due to the reasons mentioned, otherwise full points. I especially recommend the parmesan pasta, my favorite. I deduct another point from the overall rating because the price for the buffet is really too high. You often only eat a little here and there, and with all the cheese and bread you quickly become full without wanting to. There should also be room left for dessert.
