I spotted a long hair on the sushi and immediately reported it to an employee. But instead of replacing the entire plate, they simply removed the hair and left the sushi on the counter. This is absolutely unhygienic and unacceptable!

Absolute disaster – food spoiled! I have been to many Chinese restaurants, but this was by far the worst. We were there for the buffet and at first glance I noticed that many of the dishes didn't look fresh. The fish in particular smelled strange, but I thought it was the spices. A big mistake! After eating I felt extremely sick and as soon as I got home I vomited. I'm sure the fish was spoiled. Something like this simply shouldn't happen! A restaurant that serves spoiled food endangers the health of its guests. In addition, the overall impression of the restaurant was miserable. The service was unfriendly, the atmosphere was uncomfortable and the hygiene left something to be desired - sticky tables, dirty plates and a questionable smell in the room. I can only strongly advise against eating here. Health comes first and this restaurant should be inspected urgently!

The three of us went to dinner today. There are now drinks and food flats, but unfortunately the choice of food has decreased by 25%. All the good things from different things have all shrunk together, i.e. only one type of pasta and one type of rice for dessert, much too store-bought. The drinks for Flat are stupid for me because I don't drink more than two drinks there with the meal. Unfortunately, the fun is limited in time, you are not allowed to stay there for 2 hours longer than the last time I was there and now I unfortunately have to say, there will be no repeat factor for me. The food was worse. The meat was dry in places, there was little choice, unfortunately not what I'm used to and it was €90 for three people. I can do this much better elsewhere with much higher and better quality. The walk today was like a trip to the toilet for me, so I don't need to spend €90 just to see a few stupid computers driving around. The cleanliness of the toilets was also terrible and the lower entrance area and the elevator were also unfortunately not very inviting.

No pork, bamboo shoots or Chinese mushrooms! Large selection but almost no food with delicious sauces. FISH CHICKEN DUCK CHICKENWINGS HALALL ? WITHOUT taste etc. No taste. For two people €64 paid before entry. We were there for the first and last time. Many foreign-speaking people with no modesty eat with their fingers and walk around chewing with their mouths open, talking and gesticulating wildly. Pushing into each other and also drinking with lots of children. Not recommended if you want to eat Chinese food.

By gourmet I mean something different. If you allow meat to be fried, you might as well eat the sole of a shoe. The plates only arrived after over an hour. You had to wait in line for half an hour to get something from a pot. The staff runs around the store stressed, so that the stress is passed on to the customer. The toilets? A catastrophe. It's a shame for the time and money, we won't be back anytime soon.

Hello, I've been there a lot and always left satisfied until yesterday. A nightmare: service was 0, the kitchen couldn't handle it at all, the staff and restaurateur were running back and forth without a plan. Overwhelmed!! As a result, unprofessional and undisciplined, I had the feeling that I was just being dismissed. Sometimes less is simply more. You just had to take whatever was there otherwise you would have gone home hungry. Disastrous just terrible. Not even the 1 star is deserved. I'm used to something different when a buffet is offered. The name Gourmet Tempel doesn't fit the restaurant. It's a shame, it's a shame what happened to it. Maybe it was a mistake on our part when we were there between 5 and 6 p.m. Maybe at 9 p.m. it's better if the staff runs on their nipples. Sorry never again and I can't recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy their dinner in peace and comfort. Seppel

I am extremely disappointed and cannot put into words how reservations are handled in this restaurant. We reserved a table for 5 people yesterday afternoon. The reservation was confirmed for 7:30 p.m. Then came the shock!! We arrived at the gourmet temple at 7:20 p.m. and couldn't believe our eyes. There were around 100 waiting guests in the stairwell, already waiting to be admitted. There was even a wedding party with a waiting couple and a bouquet of flowers in their hands. At first we thought they were waiting guests who hadn't made a reservation, so I decided to walk past the waiting line, about 40 meters up the stairs and to the restaurant. When we got to the front of the line, a young man stood at the entrance to the restaurant. I told him that we had booked a table for 5 people "now, for 7:30 p.m." The man replied: Yes, but you have to stand at the back of the line because everyone here has reservations! Are you serious??? The restaurant is full to capacity and you are accepting an additional 100 reservations??? There were children in line. We also had a 3 year old child with us. How can you randomly overbook seats in such an uncoordinated manner, even though you know full well that the guests in the stairwell will have to wait at least 1-2 hours? Who are you, Phantasialand? Then either don't accept reservations or block the time slots if too many reservations arrive. Something like that is absolutely dubious and you can be sure that there will not be a second visit from me. We then went to the competition in Lindenhorst and had a lovely evening with very good food and great service. We also paid even less. My conclusion: I get quantity instead of class on every corner. I don't need your shop for that! Never again!!!

Absolutely disastrous experience. You really should avoid that. Instead of a great birthday, we spent a super stressful evening in an impossible atmosphere. Before you enter the restaurant you wait in line for a really long time because the employee is stressed about counting. You feel like you're in a cattle shop! The bags have to be handed in because there are concerns that food could be stolen. Even the bag for the baby had to be given away. Unfortunately, hardly anyone understands German, so agreement is impossible. At the buffet you stand in line for 20-30 minutes only to end up with empty containers because there are too many people who don't understand the system or are simply bold, stand somewhere and fill several plates. There is shouting, arguing, pushing and shoving. Sometimes people eat while standing directly at the buffet. The freshly ordered food doesn't even arrive or is simply eaten by impudent guests as soon as it is made. Unbelievable. Completely new experience, like in the jungle. I would like to save other people. Do something good for yourself, go to a decent restaurant.

After ages we were back in the gourmet temple. We are very disappointed. It just tasted like shit. We paid €64 for 2 people including drinks. The price sounds good if you could also eat something there. We are at a loss for words. Neither of us even finished a plate. And left straight away. It was just disgusting. A taste you will never forget. There is a much better Chinese all you can eat place in Unna. This is world class. If we had known beforehand how unnecessarily we would be throwing money out the window, we would never have gone there but to Unna. We are very disappointed. And anyone who thinks it's delicious will eat out of the garbage can. Just ate. I would prefer to give no star at all. But it's not possible here.

I was at this restaurant three days ago and it was an absolute disaster. The sushi was cold, tasteless and seemed old. The fish had a strange texture and the whole meal was just gross. Then there was the price: 30 euros per person for such a bad meal – far too expensive! And the worst? I still have stomach pains to this day. Something like this shouldn't happen! Absolutely not recommended. Definitely never again – zero stars if that were possible.

Absolute disaster. The restaurant was far too full, there were plates everywhere, with or without food, and the counter staff was extremely overwhelmed. That was just the first glimpse... When we arrived at the table we discovered that the clips for the freshly prepared food were littered with food. The glasses for the drinks were dirty and greasy. Well, let’s eat then…. Some of the food was cold, not ready or raw, there were so many people in the shop that we couldn't get anything at times, the sushi was a mess, the peanut sauce 🤢, etc. But to top it all off, I wanted to get a cappuccino at the bar and what did I see... (see photo) Conclusion: Please people spend your money (€32 per person😭) somewhere else. This will only bring you down and the evening will be over. It was by far the worst experience I've had in a restaurant.

We've been there several times and it's gotten so bad, the grill plate arrives at your table cold and when you complain the good lady wants to eat 3€ per 100g, which you let go back, even though they obviously messed it up. Lamb and beef. Cold and therefore absolutely chewy. We won't be eating there again!

The food and the selection were very good. I've rarely seen so much different sushi. The service wasn't great but it was ok. The toilets were clean but some doors were broken. And smeared the walls. Also in the elevator, which would be easy to fix if you spent some money on it.

A visit to this all-you-can-eat restaurant is like an adventure film - exciting, chaotic and with an uncertain outcome. As soon as you enter the restaurant you are greeted by a unique atmosphere: a mix of overcrowded tables, stressed waiters and a buffet that looks as if it has already been eaten several times. The food? Well, there is a lot of it - but unfortunately quantity is no substitute for quality. Every dish tastes of the same mysterious spice: disappointment. The cutlery still had memories from the previous guest on it, which is sustainable but less appetizing. And then the toilets – an experience that can only be enjoyed with a protective suit. The only challenge: to breathe or not to breathe? Anyone who manages to stay there for longer than 30 seconds should receive a medal. Conclusion: If you have courage and like to experience surprises, this is the right place for you. If you value good food, clean dishes and usable toilets - probably not.

We have been here again for a long time. About 3 years ago I rated this place 4 stars and consistently positive. Now I have to revise the positive review and can say... it was horrible. Starting with the ever-increasing price, to the now stripped-down, tasteless food. Dishes are either served burnt or raw. After asking whether you could possibly speak to the person responsible (since you usually have to pay an extra charge of 3 euros per 100 g if food is wasted), of course no one came and the waiter, after asking several times, simply took the food away with the words: it doesn't matter now. On the subject of hygiene and cleanliness: Unfortunately, we lost our appetite at the sight and the children completely refused the food they had already paid for. We were eating with the family, the staff at the reception was relatively rude, okay admittedly it was full, stress is inevitable, but since I come from the catering industry myself, I know that you don't leave that out on the paying customers. In my case, I asked about the classification for food because I had stomach surgery and ultimately couldn't eat more than a small bowl of soup (I had a certificate, etc.) and was then told off by the service employee I was thrown out).She pulled back the cashless scanner. And pointed to the exit. My wife said it doesn't matter, I'll pay for it (she invited us because she was celebrating her birthday with us), I said I don't see the need to pay €30 if I can only eat 150ml of soup, that has no bearing on it. My wife didn't care and paid it anyway. So we were at 107€. Three adults and a child aged 5. Since it was very full, I didn't expect much, but almost everything was empty. Sauces, empty, soup empty, I just scraped together a small ladle around 6 p.m. and it was still lukewarm... Other displays were completely empty. Refilling, somehow not available. At least felt. What little I was able to take was still cold or lukewarm... We paid €107 for that? As I said, it was full, but the coordination was relatively poor. Even after 1 hour the displays still hadn't been refilled. We then said to each other that we would go. Sorry, not again. Price-performance ratio was more than inadequate. There was a lot to do, but something like that shouldn't happen. As I said, definitely not for us there anymore...

Viel Hype, ganz wenig Qualität!! Total überfüllt, total überfordert mit dem Service! Das Ganze übertrug sich leider auch auf das Verhalten der Gäste! Aggressives und ruppiges Verhalten am Buffet, dafür mit 32€ pro Gast recht teuer! Waren mit 8 Personen dort, trotz Reservierung nur Platz an 2 Tischen! Sind nach einer 1/2 Stunde frustran gegangen! Haben uns dann bei einem Vorort Chinesen dann deutlich wohler gefühlt!

Es war UN-GLAUB-LICH SCHLECHT! Zuletzt war ich in der Corona-Zeit dort und sehr zufrieden. Diesmal habe ich mich mit dem Vorschlag bei Freunden, die aus ganz Deutschland angereist waren, bis auf die Knochen blamiert. Es ist nicht zu fassen, wie ein gutes Restaurant innerhalb von2-3 Jahren derart abstürzen kann. - Aufzug außer Betrieb. Unser Rollstuhl-Fahrer musste über den Lastenaufzug und durch den Anlieferungsbereich transportiert werden. Es kostete etwas Mühe, entsprechendes Personal zu mobilisieren, um uns zu helfen. - Lastenaufzug und Übergänge wurden offenbar seit langer Zeit nicht mehr gewartet. Nun, ja, es funktionierte, aber ob der TÜV das derzeit noch abnehmen würde, weiß ich nicht. - Der Anlieferungsbereich war schmutzig, Putz bröckelt von den Wänden. - Herren-Toilette roch merkwürdig; nach Aussage eines Mitbesuchers war die Ursache in den verschmierten Wänden der Kabinen zu finden. In einer der Kabinen "sei wohl jemand explodiert". - Bezahlen muss man vorab - wohl aus gutem Grund. - Das Buffet ist lieblos, Fertigspeisen anscheinend in zu heißem Topf ohne Umrühren zu brachial erhitzt. Die "Röstaromen" ziehen sich thematisch als roter Faden auch bei Nutzung des "mongolischen Buffets", also Auswahl der Roh-Zutaten und Life-Zubereitung, durch. - Umfang/Auswahl des Buffets ist im Vergleich zu früher deutlich eingeschränkt. Wie kann es auf einem asiatischen Buffet keine Sojasprossen geben?? Allgemein Auswahl deutlich reduziert und wenig appetitlich angerichtet. - Beschriftung der Zutaten ist durcheinander und ohne eigene Waren-Kenntnis kaum zuordbar. - Life zubereitete Zutaten waren teilweise auf einer Seite teils schwarz geröstet, auf der anderen Seite so gerade dem Roh-Zustand entwachsen. - Nur noch Plastik-Geschirr, und das großen Teils nicht sauber (im besten Falle Kalk-Flecken, aber auch Schmierspuren oder schwarze Krümel - keine Ahnung, ob in den Spül-Räumlichkeiten auch der Putz von den Wänden bröckelt) - Essen-Auslieferung durch Roboter. Der bleibt auch mal minutenlang stehen, wenn etwas im Wege steht. Entsprechend warm kommt das Essen an. - Essen ist bei Anlieferung nicht geschützt/überwacht: Gäste stellen teilweise schmutziges Geschirr mit auf den Roboter, der gerade ausliefert. Hygiene??? OK, bei dem in den Hiter-Räumen gewonnenen Eindruck wird DAS wohl das geringste Problem sein. - Einrichtung allgemein stark abgeranzt. Soweit ich sehen konnte, zeigte bei JEDEM Stuhl die Kunstleder-Bespannung Auflösungserscheinungen, mal mehr, mal noch mehr. - Das Personal setzt sich augenscheinlich kaum mehr fernöstlich zusammen, sondern eher nahöstlich bzw. nordafrikanisch. OK, nach diesen überwiegend negativen Aspekten, was gibt es positiv hervorzuheben? Äh - nix. Nie wieder Gourmet-Tempel in Dortmund.

The lady at the checkout was very disrespectful towards me and the other customers. She said in an insulting way that we should wait here in the hallway until we were called, another customer asked sweetly where the toilets were, to which she only answered with her hand. Ein interessantes Thema für ein "All You Can Eat"-Restaurant könnte ein "World Street Food"-Konzept sein. Das Restaurant bietet eine Vielzahl an Gerichten aus verschiedenen Ländern und Kulturen, inspiriert von Street Food Ständen weltweit. Gäste können sich durch eine bunte Auswahl an Speisen aus Asien, Lateinamerika, Europa und dem Nahen Osten probieren. Dabei könnten z.B. Tacos aus Mexiko, Sushi aus Japan, Falafel aus dem Nahen Osten und Bao Buns aus China auf der Speisekarte stehen. Das All-you-can-eat-Format würde den Gästen die Möglichkeit bieten, unterschiedliche Geschmacksrichtungen und Spezialitäten zu entdecken, ohne sich festzulegen.

This restaurant is simply brilliant, the ambience, the food and everything about it is simply recommended. I've been eating there with my family for several years now. And by that I mean that for me it's number 1 in Dortmund, I have all the Chinese All you can try it and Gourmet Tempel simply can't be beat. This selection of food and drinks is simply delicious. Of course it may look a bit untidy when it's busy (full restaurant), but that has nothing to do with the staff. That's it the Customers themselves who tip everything over and simply don't pick it up afterwards. Pack everything next to it. Drinks (orange juice etc. simply spill and children lose food from their plates etc. The staff never complained about it because they simply like their customers. Last but not least. TOP TOP TOP

Vielen Dank für die tollen Stunden! Ich möchte mich ganz herzlich für die wunderbare Zeit bedanken, die ich in Ihrem All-You-Can-Eat-Restaurant verbringen durfte. Die Atmosphäre war sehr einladend und das Personal äußerst freundlich und aufmerksam. Besonders die große Auswahl und die frischen Speisen haben mich begeistert – es war für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei! Ich habe mich sehr wohlgefühlt und werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Went there for the first time today. Unfortunately we were completely disappointed. The food was consistently cold or lukewarm and the staff was absolutely unfriendly. Almost all of the plates were dirty, and I don't want to talk about the cleanliness of the soft ice cream machine. Everything made a very unclean impression. And out of 10 people at the table, 4 complained of stomach pain after eating. We won't go there anymore. 1 star is still too much.

Disgusting! Children put their fingers in food and no one cares. The buffet was neither tasty nor anything special. The toilets were in an unacceptable condition - so dirty that they couldn't be used. I've experienced a lot, but this was really a 10/10 in terms of disappointment. I will definitely never eat here again.

I've been a regular customer since it opened, the last big change was: the waiters were eliminated, you pay when you go in, you get a sign that says when the 2.5 hours (more than enough) end and you can then get your drinks from the refrigerators . There is a HUGE buffet and also an extraordinary amount of desserts (including cakes), sushi, salads and of course a Mongolian grill, the grilled meat is brought to you by cat robots, all of great quality. Finally, every child's dream (and mine) is a soft ice cream machine, as much ice cream as you want. Relaxed crowd adapted to the north of Dortmund, very family friendly.

Worst experience in my entire life, don’t ever think of going there in your life. They are very careless, & won’t care about their customers properties & belongings. My Jacket with my passport inside was stolen in front of the Reception, without any one of them doing anything, & after I discovered, they acted very carelessly, as if it was normal for any customer to expect that his belongings will be stolen in front of the reception eyes, really the worst night in my life in this awful place.

BUT since there is this time limit, you are immediately told in your face that you can ONLY stay here for 2.5 hours (otherwise you have to pay) then you immediately don't feel like it anymore and would like to turn around and leave, because if so man already pays €30 per person, and that's €130 per family, and we go there with several families and then you pay €500 and you want to spend the time together and eat something and chat in peace, but You then constantly look at the clock because it has remained in the back of your mind because of these strange TIME LIMITS!!!

The Chinese all-you-can-eat & all-you-can-drink restaurant convinced me across the board. The selection at the buffet was impressive: everything from freshly prepared sushi to crispy spring rolls to delicious teppanyaki, which was prepared right in front of your eyes. The dishes were fresh, varied and very well seasoned. The range of drinks also left nothing to be desired. In addition to soft drinks and juices, there was a large selection of beer, wine and cocktails that perfectly complemented the culinary experience. Everything was well chilled and served quickly. The ambience was modern and cozy, with a pleasant atmosphere ideal for a relaxing evening with family or friends. The service was friendly, attentive and efficient, which made the evening even more positive. The price-performance ratio is also right: the offer is absolutely fair for the variety of food and drinks on offer. I can fully recommend this restaurant and am already looking forward to my next visit!

A large all-in buffet restaurant in Asian-Mongolian style. The selection of food is very large, with a very good selection of sushi and starters for the buffet style, which is why we always like to come. The store has gotten so bad! We went there for a buffet today. Food cold! And there was always a lack of new food. Hair in the sushi my daughter almost had to vomit because she had a hair in the sushi. She spat it out and didn't want to eat the little sushi with cucumber anymore. Bar at the table! I told her she should eat me first and I can pay for it at the checkout. She said no immediately at the table, CASH! Impolite! Can hardly speak German, you can hardly understand what she wanted to say. I don't recommend this store at all! Disgusting food. The lamb chop smelled like rotten meat, so I put it back! FISH was fried in old fat! Toilets dirty! No soap, no towels to dry off! If you want to avoid food poisoning for free, you've come to the right place at Gourmet Tempfel Dortmund! CHILD LABOR is also supported there! There are simply 10-12 year old girls working there! I will send the health system and the customs office there! I wanted my money back, then the woman ran away! So.... We had pre-booked a table for 8 people. Arrived, there was a queue for the elevator, we called and ordered it in advance, the lady said it would only take 10 minutes... After 15 minutes we squeezed past the horde of people with bad words from the others in the queue... Then we were shown a table, we actually had to walk through the entire store three times, behind an employee. Then get a seat in the last corner. The counters with sauces were empty, homemade food took 30 minutes, employees were just under stress... Food was really tasty but also the only thing. Oh and the employee who picked up the empty plates was great and always got to the tables quickly. There weren't even enough parking spaces. The toilets were disgusting, there was puking, shit all over the floor and shit on the walls... Really a shame

Been there for the first time. Terrible. You stand and wait for at least half an hour despite a reservation. You have to pay in advance! The reception unfriendly. It was pure mass processing. Nothing to do with comfort. Tables are very close together, so you're basically sitting on your neighbors' laps. My guests and I felt very uncomfortable and will not be coming back.

I would like to report on my VERY negative visit. I am a Muslim woman and wear a headscarf. I was there with a large group consisting of my friends (wearing headscarves) to celebrate a private event. From the beginning we were stared at and watched unpleasantly by the employees and felt uncomfortable. At some point an employee came up to us and accused us in a disrespectful tone of eating too much food even though it was an ALL YOU CAN EAT buffet. Not only were we treated differently than other paying customers, but the employees shouted at us quite loudly and aggressively and embarrassed us and the police were even called. We hardly had any food on the table and as paying customers we were still in the process of eating the food we were entitled to, even the police can confirm this. Nothing like this has ever happened to me! Anyone who stands against racism and discrimination and believes in human rights in this country would strongly advise against this restaurant. I have no other explanation for this incident. Just disappointed and embarrassed!

Unfortunately the food, staff and cleanliness have become really bad. I used to love going there, but now I prefer to avoid the store. We were eating there with work colleagues and everyone came one by one. Our table sign said there were still 8 people, but we had already said at the entrance that 4 more would come, so in the end we were 12. When the boss came to us like a fury and claimed 4 hadn't paid. Only after we had all shown the receipts (luckily that we had them given to us at all) did she leave without an apology. Care was taken to ensure that there wasn't too much left on the plate (which is really difficult given the quality of the food), otherwise you would be threatened with fines. So for the price, you should be able to expect more in every respect. By the way, pockets have to be left at the front, perhaps for fear that the valuable plastic dishes could be stolen.

We ordered 4 rescue boxes through Too Good to Go and were really excited about them. The joy quickly disappeared. Unfriendly staff, you weren't allowed to choose anything or even say if you didn't want something specific, and to top it off we had a bug in our food!!!! And HAIR!!!!
