A restaurant with the atmosphere of a large cafeteria. Hygiene is questionable, to say the least; the escape route is partially blocked by tables and chairs. Service is attentive and friendly, but overwhelmed by the sheer number of guests. A lot of convenience food (ready meals). Overall, we cannot recommend this restaurant. The high rating on Google is incomprehensible. Gourmet Temple would be more appropriate; a gourmet won't find his way here.

I visited a Chinese buffet where the price was around 30–32€, depending on the day. You get 2.5 hours to enjoy your meal, and overall, it was a great experience. The service was excellent – very friendly and helpful. The food was fresh and really delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. One of the highlights was the drinks section. Non-alcoholic drinks are unlimited and included in the price. There’s even a machine that freshly squeezes natural orange juice – you can see the oranges spinning inside, which is a nice touch! Alcoholic drinks are not included, and while they’re very tasty, the prices are a bit high. Also, if you need to open bottled drinks, there’s a bottle opener attached to the fridge area on the left side – simple but thoughtful detail. Overall, a great spot to enjoy tasty food and good service in a relaxed setting. Worth visiting!

The food was good overall, especially the noodles, as well as some other dishes like the meat with vegetables or the chicken in sauce, which were delicious, unique, and had a great flavor. However, some dishes were quite oily after frying, which somewhat spoiled the overall experience. Furthermore, the prices were relatively high compared to the quality and variety of the dishes.

After our last two visits (we only made the second visit to check if the first was an exception), I unfortunately have to significantly downgrade my original 5-star review. Whether from the Mongolian menu or the buffet, the food has deteriorated considerably. The Mongolian food was dripping with grease, and I still had shrimp on my plate even though I hadn't eaten any. Some of the rice from the rice cooker was burnt. Some of the plates and cutlery still had food leftovers. The fried food is now only available from frozen. I can make my own at home in the hairdresser. On our last visit, the noise was like a train station concourse, accompanied by children playing and running right in front of us. Some of the glasses looked unwashed. The price of €30 is no longer appropriate for this kind of food, especially since the food is brought by a robot and they're cutting back on staff. Unfortunately, we won't be visiting this restaurant again. It's a shame, because it used to be really good and was even cooked without MSG.

We went to this Chinese restaurant with friends today. Unfortunately, the visit was disappointing overall. Although it was only 19 degrees Celsius outside, it was at least 25 degrees Celsius inside – it was stuffy, hot, and the pervasive smell of food made the air unbearable. Unfortunately, some plates and forks weren't properly clean. Among the "clean" cutlery were used ones. When we asked the waiter to replace the forks, he initially said it wasn't possible because they were dirty (!). Later, he himself dropped a clean fork on the floor, picked it up, and simply put it back with the rest of the "clean" forks – absolutely unhygienic. The waiter initially spoke German, but when a friend asked him something, he suddenly announced that he only spoke Bulgarian. The service was chaotic and unfriendly overall – when we asked another employee a question, she simply walked away. The food itself tasted okay, but was very greasy. Unfortunately, many dishes were unavailable at that time. Overall, it's not a place we would visit again. The hygiene conditions and service urgently need to be improved.

I recently ate there with a few friends – and what can I say? It was a real experience! As soon as I entered the restaurant, I was greeted by a large aquarium filled with beautiful, colorful fish. This immediately created a relaxed yet exotic atmosphere. A real eye-catcher and a great way to start the visit. The food was truly delicious – freshly prepared, well-seasoned, and very varied. I was particularly impressed by the appetizers and the sushi selection. The restaurant's prices are also absolutely fair: good quality at a reasonable price. You don't find that often these days. As for the ambiance: modern, pleasantly lit, and with a touch of futuristic technology. And yes, there are the robots – they are definitely a highlight! They bring the food directly to the table and bring a smile to every guest's face. Children and tech enthusiasts, in particular, will definitely enjoy themselves here. I personally found them not only practical but also quite entertaining. The staff were friendly and helpful. Despite the crowds (the restaurant was quite full), they remained calm and attentive. The only minor drawback: the restrooms. Unfortunately, there's no music anymore – that used to be a fun feature, but it's now missing. The cleanliness there was also "okay," but not on the same level as the rest of the restaurant. Despite minor flaws, I highly recommend the place – whether for dinner with friends, a family outing, or simply if you're curious about the interplay of food and technology. I'll definitely be back – not least because of the friendly atmosphere and, of course... the robots!

The place was very busy (and it was a Sunday). Each person costs €30, and you have to finish all the food you order. You can select meat to be grilled which will be delivered via robots. There are a wide array of food choices to pick, along with drinks. It’s a pretty fun place to have dinner at.

They charge 30 euros (per week) per person in advance directly behind the entrance door. For that you get dirty plastic plates, filthy glasses, and lots of fried food. Hygiene is unfortunately lacking. The shelf where the glasses are kept was so filthy that I drank out of the bottles. That's probably why they charge you when you go in, so you don't turn around and walk out after taking a closer look. Unfortunately, we didn't like the food 99% of the time. Only the shrimp were edible. The sweet and sour sauce tasted of dish soap, the fried foods were like bubble gum. Not even the fried noodles were good. The spring rolls were empty inside, which was definitely the laugh of the evening. That says a lot about the quality of the frozen convenience products they use. The dessert appears to be made with Doctor Oetker ready-made mixes, as indicated by the cut-out cardboard sign on the packaging. The crowning glory was the plum schnapps, which we also bought at the end. It had absolutely nothing to do with schnapps; it was pure methylated spirits. Conclusion: nighttime diarrhea - never again!

I was last there several years ago, and a lot has changed since then. It's no longer all-you-can-eat, but all-you-can-eat and drink. So the price increase is certainly justified. Unfortunately, with a two-hour stay, the selection has become quite limited. There's also not much Western European food. However, I do think it's positive that there are now lockers where you can lock your bag. Overall, though, I'd be happy to come back.

If you want to take someone to a Chinese restaurant, this is the place to go. They have a wide selection of food and drinks. From Monday to Saturday, between 12 and 3 p.m., you can enjoy a buffet for €24, including good-quality beer, wine, and other renowned beverages from well-known brands. Everything is refrigerated. Since drinks are included, they don't overdo it with the salt, which is unfortunately common in other similar places.

So, I'd even give it zero stars. Incredibly unaccommodating and downright rude. We're coming with 9 people, and when one of us asks about an adult not being able to eat much because they've had a gastric sleeve, and everyone knows you can't fit much in a gastric sleeve, they say no, they'll pay the full price. Okay, I understand, but if you say this person isn't eating because €30 isn't worth it for someone who's had surgery, they say "I'm not allowed to sit with the group." Is that supposed to be a joke? Over €200 salary for sitting for 2.5 hours, and if that's not enough, they always pay an extra €5 🤣 So, this is the last time you serve your customers like that. P.S. Everything under the tables was full of water, so we had to clean them first.

Stay away from this place! The floor was completely sticky, food was lying around on the floor at the buffet. The room wasn't air-conditioned. The coffee machine was broken. The quality of the food left much to be desired. When we complained, the waiter didn't even mention it. The hygiene conditions, especially upon closer inspection, are extremely poor. Every third plate was dirty, and glasses were sticky. There are cobwebs on the wall and the lamps above the tables, and they've been there for a while.

Pros: I can recommend this place for a sumptuous buffet. There's a huge selection. The price is reasonable. Cons: Raw vegetables aren't clean. Lettuce leaves have some dirt/dirt on them. Food/drinks/cocktail menu is dirty! There's dirt/dust under the seats.

I ate at Gourmet Tempel Dortmund. The buffet selection is truly extensive, and the food tasted quite good, absolutely fine for an all-you-can-eat restaurant. However, the restaurant was very noisy, especially due to several large groups celebrating loudly. In such cases, it would be desirable for the staff to politely point this out or encourage the groups to be more considerate so that other guests could also eat in a pleasant atmosphere. Overall, it was solid, but the high noise level somewhat spoiled the experience.

The Gourmet Tempel Dortmund impresses with a large and fresh selection at its all-you-can-eat buffet. The value for money is excellent, and you really get a lot for your money. We always enjoy going there and enjoying the varied dishes!

If you don't want to eat there during peak times or on holidays, it's recommended. I find it a shame how some of the guests behave. Even though there's a flat rate for food and drinks, there's no need to fill your plate and then leave it there.

Outrageous, dirty, and it doesn't taste the same as before! Unfriendly manager! Dirty dishes! We had to pay adult prices for two 11-year-old children because we couldn't show them ID! Well, there are no IDs for children! You don't have your health insurance card with you, even though we were asked for it when you go out to eat! One of these children, who is 11, has a 75% disability, yet we still had to pay €32! Such a disgrace! We'll never go back! There are better and friendlier places!!!!!

Although the tables were cleared regularly, seeing the dirty trolleys with leftover food and dirty dishes wasn't very appetizing. I really liked it until 5 days ago. Unfortunately, I drank an expired bottle of iced tea and got food poisoning. I asked the manager about it, but she wasn't interested at all. Expired since April 25 That was my last time there.

The food and drink package is really convenient. Unfortunately, the cleanliness isn't 100% in some places. Fresh plates are sometimes still dirty - you should check beforehand to see if they've been cleaned. Food scraps sit on the floor for too long - especially on weekends. Hence only 3 stars.

The all-you-can-eat, all-you-can-drink Chinese restaurant completely impressed me. The buffet selection was impressive: freshly prepared sushi, crispy spring rolls, and delicious teppanyaki, cooked right in front of the guests. The dishes were varied, fresh, and very well seasoned – there was something for every taste. The drinks selection also left nothing to be desired. In addition to a large selection of soft drinks and juices, there were various beers, wines, and cocktails. Everything was served well chilled, and the service was quick and attentive, which further enhanced the enjoyment. The ambience was modern yet cozy – perfect for a relaxing evening with family or friends. The excellent value for money is particularly noteworthy: the quality and variety offered fully justify the price. I can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant and would gladly return.

The atmosphere was very nice. It was our first time there and we'll never go back. There were four of us. The food wasn't tasty at all, had no flavor, and even considering the place had just opened, it was cold. There was no toilet paper or hand paper. The restrooms smelled and were dirty. I was at the Gurmet Temple in Dortmund. I liked it very much. The buffet was very large and there were many different dishes. Everything was fresh and very tasty. The live cooking was particularly nice. The chefs prepared the food right in front of us. The staff was friendly and quick. The atmosphere in the restaurant was pleasant. The price-performance ratio is also very good. I would love to come back and can only recommend the Gurmet Temple!

The restaurant doesn't deserve a star at all. Were there once. The entrance was very dirty. The floor was very slippery everywhere. Everything full of fat. There is no regard for cleanliness. Almost all of the plates were dirty. I ate 3 plates until I vomited and had an incredibly bad stomach ache... We'll never go there again.

That was definitely the last time there! At reception they wanted proof that my daughter is 11 and not 12 years old! We didn't have her ID with us - why should we?! So we had to pay the full rate for them! The glasses were dirty and some fresh plates had leftover food stuck to them! The high chair for my younger daughter was not cleaned and was sticky! I also find it a disgrace that children aged 1 and over have to pay! Food was delicious, but €99 for 4 people was definitely not worth it!!

LAST VISIT! Tables so dirty that the sleeves of the sweater were completely soaked. The food wasn't good at all, cold noodles and tough meat. Children put their hands in the buffet and in the water basin at the entrance where the fish swim in (there is a sign there saying that you should not put your hands in the water). Prices outrageous. You are asked to pay right at the entrance, even before you can sit down at a table… General atmosphere terrible. You go to an Asian restaurant and only see Arab staff??? We ourselves come from the catering industry and always stack the plates and put them on the edge of the table or hand them over to the waiters, the staff was so annoyed and aggressive that they ripped the plates out of your hand and shoved them onto the tray. Staff extremely unfriendly, no please no thanks. NEVER AGAIN! There is cheaper and tastier competition!

I do not recommend this restaurant. The service was poor and the employees were rude. I wasn't allowed to take my daughter's small bag with me and had to put it in a closet. So I often had to go back and forth to help my baby daughter. There was no soap in the toilet. It was a very bad experience.

A disaster!!! Restaurant completely overcrowded, staff can't keep up with cleaning the plates. Replenishing products is slow. Selection is sparse. Once it has been filled up, it is immediately empty. The grill station is overloaded. The food that is then served is burnt or, like the fish, not cooked through. Children touch the food provided with their hands. The floor is dirty, drinks are empty!!! The orange press has not been refilled for about 2 hours. For €32 per person is a disgrace!

Generally, the food selection is good—it's always busy, so there's always something going on. The robots that bring your food to your table are a highlight. The price is higher than average, but it includes drinks, so that's worth it.

Whether for a romantic dinner or a gathering with friends, the Gourmet Temple is the perfect place for foodies. I highly recommend it and look forward to my next visit!

We've been there a few times and the food got worse every time. For example, small squids were not gutted for grilling, so the inside was not edible.

I really liked it there. I can't understand all the negative comments! The food is warm/hot, varied and there is a LARGE selection of dishes. There is something for everyone. The staff are very attentive. Of course there were a few things that weren't so great, for example the elevator, but don't let these reviews influence you. The food there is simply delicious and varied and you can drink WHENEVER YOU WANT, eat ice cream (soft ice cream, slush ice cream scoops), and there are lots of fruit and vegetables! I CAN ONLY RECOMMEND IT.

I was there again last night after 7 years. The sushi was adequate for a buffet, and the dessert was okay too. Almost the entire buffet was only lukewarm! I had squid made, which sat in the pan for far too long and was just rubbery. The food was still heavy on my stomach. Toilets are a disaster! Overall, not a store I will go to again!

I also wanted to get in touch with the comments. I also think the price is steep, but it's a huge offer and you all chose it. Now I have often advertised privately, I am very satisfied, and I will always remember things like rare foods, for example. Also ehrlich so ein rotz laden habe ich schon lange nicht gesehen das Essen kalt Mitarbeiter frech und das schlimmste was passiert ist war bei der Orangen Presse wo „frische“ Orangen gepresst werden sollten eine reie verschimmelter Orangen nicht mehr essbar waren als wir darauf hin eine Mitarbeiterin drauf hinweisen wollten sagte er paarst um Pakte sie in die Presse als wir weg gegeangen sind zum Tisch sa ich wie ein Kind sich Orangen Saft presste und auf eine mal so ein fettes Stuck verschimmelte Orange in sein Glas viel also bitte meiden sie das Restaurant dazu war als wir unseren Tisch bekamen ein verfickten Käse spies der von der Gruppe die davor da vor uns saß der stand da die ganze Zeit und wurde auch nicht saubere gemacht Achso das aller schlimmste die hatten eine soft Eis Maschine wo man per Knopf drück Vanille Eis mit Schoko Soße haben kann als ich den Knopf drückte bekam ich ein normales Vanille Eis ohne SHOKOSOẞE!!!!!!! Also echt was ein rotz Laden

I spotted a long hair on the sushi and immediately reported it to an employee. But instead of replacing the entire plate, they simply removed the hair and left the sushi on the counter. This is absolutely unhygienic and unacceptable!

February 14th was really overly crowded despite the overcrowding, there was plenty of food everywhere

Absolute disaster – food spoiled! I have been to many Chinese restaurants, but this was by far the worst. We were there for the buffet and at first glance I noticed that many of the dishes didn't look fresh. The fish in particular smelled strange, but I thought it was the spices. A big mistake! After eating I felt extremely sick and as soon as I got home I vomited. I'm sure the fish was spoiled. Something like this simply shouldn't happen! A restaurant that serves spoiled food endangers the health of its guests. In addition, the overall impression of the restaurant was miserable. The service was unfriendly, the atmosphere was uncomfortable and the hygiene left something to be desired - sticky tables, dirty plates and a questionable smell in the room. I can only strongly advise against eating here. Health comes first and this restaurant should be inspected urgently!

So if for 34€ it's way too expensive. The ambience is outdated and the selection and quality of the food are mediocre. There are better all you can eats which are usually cheaper

The three of us went to dinner today. There are now drinks and food flats, but unfortunately the choice of food has decreased by 25%. All the good things from different things have all shrunk together, i.e. only one type of pasta and one type of rice for dessert, much too store-bought. The drinks for Flat are stupid for me because I don't drink more than two drinks there with the meal. Unfortunately, the fun is limited in time, you are not allowed to stay there for 2 hours longer than the last time I was there and now I unfortunately have to say, there will be no repeat factor for me. The food was worse. The meat was dry in places, there was little choice, unfortunately not what I'm used to and it was €90 for three people. I can do this much better elsewhere with much higher and better quality. The walk today was like a trip to the toilet for me, so I don't need to spend €90 just to see a few stupid computers driving around. The cleanliness of the toilets was also terrible and the lower entrance area and the elevator were also unfortunately not very inviting.

Unfortunately another disappointment at the German wok restaurant. It is a mess in the restaurant, kitchen and service. The girls on the phone don't speak a word of English, but that was probably a sigh. I would not recommend this restaurant.

No pork, bamboo shoots or Chinese mushrooms! Large selection but almost no food with delicious sauces. FISH CHICKEN DUCK CHICKENWINGS HALALL ? WITHOUT taste etc. No taste. For two people €64 paid before entry. We were there for the first and last time. Many foreign-speaking people with no modesty eat with their fingers and walk around chewing with their mouths open, talking and gesticulating wildly. Pushing into each other and also drinking with lots of children. Not recommended if you want to eat Chinese food.

Food really doesn't taste very tasty

All food is cold. As is the case with the buffet, we ate several dishes and NONE of the dishes, without exception, were still hot. It really sucks when lunch isn't even warm anymore... Was the last time for me.

By gourmet I mean something different. If you allow meat to be fried, you might as well eat the sole of a shoe. The plates only arrived after over an hour. You had to wait in line for half an hour to get something from a pot. The staff runs around the store stressed, so that the stress is passed on to the customer. The toilets? A catastrophe. It's a shame for the time and money, we won't be back anytime soon.

I am extremely disappointed and cannot put into words how reservations are handled in this restaurant. We reserved a table for 5 people yesterday afternoon. The reservation was confirmed for 7:30 p.m. Then came the shock!! We arrived at the gourmet temple at 7:20 p.m. and couldn't believe our eyes. There were around 100 waiting guests in the stairwell, already waiting to be admitted. There was even a wedding party with a waiting couple and a bouquet of flowers in their hands. At first we thought they were waiting guests who hadn't made a reservation, so I decided to walk past the waiting line, about 40 meters up the stairs and to the restaurant. When we got to the front of the line, a young man stood at the entrance to the restaurant. I told him that we had booked a table for 5 people "now, for 7:30 p.m." The man replied: Yes, but you have to stand at the back of the line because everyone here has reservations! Are you serious??? The restaurant is full to capacity and you are accepting an additional 100 reservations??? There were children in line. We also had a 3 year old child with us. How can you randomly overbook seats in such an uncoordinated manner, even though you know full well that the guests in the stairwell will have to wait at least 1-2 hours? Who are you, Phantasialand? Then either don't accept reservations or block the time slots if too many reservations arrive. Something like that is absolutely dubious and you can be sure that there will not be a second visit from me. We then went to the competition in Lindenhorst and had a lovely evening with very good food and great service. We also paid even less. My conclusion: I get quantity instead of class on every corner. I don't need your shop for that! Never again!!!

Hello, I've been there a lot and always left satisfied until yesterday. A nightmare: service was 0, the kitchen couldn't handle it at all, the staff and restaurateur were running back and forth without a plan. Overwhelmed!! As a result, unprofessional and undisciplined, I had the feeling that I was just being dismissed. Sometimes less is simply more. You just had to take whatever was there otherwise you would have gone home hungry. Disastrous just terrible. Not even the 1 star is deserved. I'm used to something different when a buffet is offered. The name Gourmet Tempel doesn't fit the restaurant. It's a shame, it's a shame what happened to it. Maybe it was a mistake on our part when we were there between 5 and 6 p.m. Maybe at 9 p.m. it's better if the staff runs on their nipples. Sorry never again and I can't recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy their dinner in peace and comfort. Seppel

Absolutely disastrous experience. You really should avoid that. Instead of a great birthday, we spent a super stressful evening in an impossible atmosphere. Before you enter the restaurant you wait in line for a really long time because the employee is stressed about counting. You feel like you're in a cattle shop! The bags have to be handed in because there are concerns that food could be stolen. Even the bag for the baby had to be given away. Unfortunately, hardly anyone understands German, so agreement is impossible. At the buffet you stand in line for 20-30 minutes only to end up with empty containers because there are too many people who don't understand the system or are simply bold, stand somewhere and fill several plates. There is shouting, arguing, pushing and shoving. Sometimes people eat while standing directly at the buffet. The freshly ordered food doesn't even arrive or is simply eaten by impudent guests as soon as it is made. Unbelievable. Completely new experience, like in the jungle. I would like to save other people. Do something good for yourself, go to a decent restaurant.

It's not a gourmet temple, it's a canteen atmosphere, the service is overwhelmed, dirty plates aren't cleared away, it's as loud as a train station.

After ages we were back in the gourmet temple. We are very disappointed. It just tasted like shit. We paid €64 for 2 people including drinks. The price sounds good if you could also eat something there. We are at a loss for words. Neither of us even finished a plate. And left straight away. It was just disgusting. A taste you will never forget. There is a much better Chinese all you can eat place in Unna. This is world class. If we had known beforehand how unnecessarily we would be throwing money out the window, we would never have gone there but to Unna. We are very disappointed. And anyone who thinks it's delicious will eat out of the garbage can. Just ate. I would prefer to give no star at all. But it's not possible here.

It was my first time there and I personally can't recommend it. The selection was very small, was not filled enough and, as we all know, the taste is debatable. First and last time, what a shame!!!

I was at this restaurant three days ago and it was an absolute disaster. The sushi was cold, tasteless and seemed old. The fish had a strange texture and the whole meal was just gross. Then there was the price: 30 euros per person for such a bad meal – far too expensive! And the worst? I still have stomach pains to this day. Something like this shouldn't happen! Absolutely not recommended. Definitely never again – zero stars if that were possible.

Absolute disaster. The restaurant was far too full, there were plates everywhere, with or without food, and the counter staff was extremely overwhelmed. That was just the first glimpse... When we arrived at the table we discovered that the clips for the freshly prepared food were littered with food. The glasses for the drinks were dirty and greasy. Well, let’s eat then…. Some of the food was cold, not ready or raw, there were so many people in the shop that we couldn't get anything at times, the sushi was a mess, the peanut sauce 🤢, etc. But to top it all off, I wanted to get a cappuccino at the bar and what did I see... (see photo) Conclusion: Please people spend your money (€32 per person😭) somewhere else. This will only bring you down and the evening will be over.
