Es hat uns alles sehr gut geschmeckt. Ein rund um gelungener Abend. Gerne wieder!

Unfortunately we didn't have the pleasure of eating here. Therefore we can't comment on this, but the service was extremely rude when we asked for a table for two. It's understandable that you might not be able to get a table on a Saturday evening so centrally in Berlin. However, this could also be communicated in a more friendly way. Because of this rude rejection, we will definitely not consider going to this restaurant again. 1 star 🌟 for customer friendliness!

To be avoided, there is nothing Spanish about it, now let's say that when we tried a tasting platter for 2 we felt less than a taste of Spain!! The only positive note was the wine, good but above average priced, we chose it to have a light dinner with two tapas and a glass of wine, but the tasting was a catastrophe!!

There is often a lot going on here. But once you have a place, it's pleasantly comfortable. Spanish ambient music along with the warm lighting creates a relaxed atmosphere. The service is quick and friendly, the tapas are good and spicy. The desserts in particular are top class.

Despite a cozy restaurant and decent service, the tapas are not very tasty, not bad, but not qualitative and not very plentiful given the price, which is too excessive for the service.

Wir sind nach einem Theaterbesuch an Heiligabend als Familie dort eingekehrt, mit Reservierung. Das Ambiente ist sehr angenehm, die Atmosphäre war entspannt, obwohl fast alle Tisch besetzt waren. Die Auswahl an Tapas ist reichlich und alle schmecken lecker. Fazit: Wir haben uns ganz bewusst für ein Tapaslokal entschieden und genau das bekommen. Gern wieder! Swetlana P.

Die Reservierung des Restaurants war unkompliziert. Ein Tisch am Fenster, gemütlich und angenehm. Das Essen ist frisch zu bereitet und köstlich! Ich komme gerne wieder!

Die Tapas kamen mit einem riesigen zeitlichen Abstand - bei Nachfrage sagte die Kellnerin (Azubi), dass die Tapas hier immer einzeln nacheinander kommen. So einQuatsch! Das ist nicht der Sinn bei Tapas. Man isst doch nicht nur Käse, dann nur salat, dann nur oliven… Das „Rinderfilet“ war voller Fett & Sehnen und lauwarm. Dafür über 16€! Die patatas bravas waren gar nichts kross. 1 Gericht wirde vergessen, 1 falsches Getränk wurde gebracht. Die Kellner waren alle super unfähig - entweder frech oder haben kein Deutsch verstanden. Englisch ging auch nicht. Nie wieder! Sehr schade. Vor 6 Jahren war es noch top!

Food was very basic. Nothing stood out to me as far as flavor. The squid rings were not seasoned. They were just dipped in batter and fried. We ordered an abundance of food and nothing but a basic salad I order pleased the pallet. I’ll insert pictures below. Service was not bad however I speak fluent English and my boyfriend is fluent in Spanish. Our server was Asian and the language barrier was apparent. For a Spanish restaurant, I was highly confused by the lack of communication between the server and the customer. Other than that I would not recommend this place to eat versus all the delicious restaurants surrounding the area.

We were very surprised at how friendly a restaurant can be. And no, it wasn't empty, it was really full, and yet we didn't have to wait long for repeat orders or for our food or drinks. It was super delicious, it was Not very cheap, a bit more upscale, but every cent was worth it. Keep it up, you're really great. A big compliment to your employees, we would be happy if you passed this on to the service staff. ❤️🥰

Wir sind enttäuscht von dem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Wir waren jahrelang bei Ihnen zu Gast. Leider haben sich die Preise schnell nach oben entwickelt. Das wäre zu verschmerzen, wenn es dabei geblieben wäre, wie in früheren Zeiten die Portionen dimensioniert gewesen sind. Leider sind die Portionen (besonders Käse + die Tortillia) aber inzwischen so klein, dass ein erwachsener Mensch davon nicht satt wird. Der Service war ok.

Food tasted good, not that much choice

Wines and tapas were good. Service was friendly.

It was a very pleasant stay. You just can't ask for a spoon because you'll get the question: "Why?" The communication between the waitress and the guest is clumsy. We were able to laugh afterwards, but you don't expect that in such an atmosphere. Otherwise a very nice tapas bar and highly recommended.

Lovely experience, staff were so helpful and kind and extremely friendly, we will definitely be returning here on our next trip, from the two sisters from Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Toller Service, tolles Essen, toller Abend mit der Familie.

The dishes are not recommended as they are often made with ready-made sauces etc.

Immer wieder gerne, etwas teuer (der Lage aber angemessen) und immer ein super leckeres Erlebnis mit hervorragenden Service.

Everything was perfect… and then the best service ever… without Thomas, the sweetest waiter, it would have only been delicious. So it was extremely enchanting…

We went to a Latin evening with live music from the Peter Befort Trio in the Tapas Bar. The atmosphere was simply fantastic and the music was of a high standard. The staff is very attentive, in a great mood and we followed their recommendations with a mixed tapas platter for two people. The fried squid rings, bacon-wrapped dates (my favorite), peppers, potato wedges with alioli and of course Serrano ham and Manchego cheese were very tasty. A fantastic evening with Spanish-Brazilian flair. Absolutely recommended. Always my pleasure!

The tapas were indescribably delicious, the service was quick and friendly, and the atmosphere was right. We really liked it and would highly recommend it.

The taste of the food was on par with that of well-known discount grocery chains in Spain, the drinks lasted over 15 minutes and stood around for 3 minutes before they were served, with just 3 tables and 5 people at the bar. A nicely decorated store, after all Unfortunately, the service is particularly friendly and the food is rather catastrophic.

Waited nearly 10 minutes for server who was busy chatting with another server at the bar. Ordered a drink (Negroni) and she said they did not have it. I showed her the menu - she said she knew how to make it. No, she did not!!! Ordered bread and olives to start - bread nice and it came with 4 olives. Servers spoke very very little English.

Here you can end your visit to Berlin with a cool drink before you head home with the DB.

Essen sehr lecker, aber wie meistens bei Tappas zu teuer. Beim Rotwein schon fast unverschämt eine Flasche im EK von 4,95€ für 33,-€ zu verkaufen!

The beautiful place. The service was good (being a Spanish food place they should manage the language). Very bad food. The raw tortilla potato. The calamari is very salty.

Wir hatten einen fantastischen Abend mit super live Musik. Die Tapasauswahl ist sehr gut und der Service sehr aufmerksam. Das musikalische Trio hatte ein sehr hohes Niveau und hat uns begeistert.

Since we don't eat seafood, we ordered individual tapas. In terms of taste, the Albondigas were very boring (5 mini meatballs for about 11 euros). You can't go wrong with bacon-wrapped dates (3 dates for about 8 euros) and a small pan of vegetables (for 9 euros) We also shared a kind of sandwich toast for just under 15 euros. The service was overloaded and annoyed and the store wasn't even half full. There was also shouting at each other in the kitchen. We paid just under 60 euros and weren't even remotely full. I would have expected more for this location.

Nada que ver con la comida española. Un timo absoluto. Tapas malísimas a precio de Raciones en España. Nada recomendable

Da wir keine Meeresfrüchte essen, haben wir uns einzelne Tapas bestellt. Geschmacklich waren die Albondigas sehr langweilig (5 Mini-Fleischbällchen für ca. 11 Euro). Bei Datteln im Speckmantel kann man geschmacklich nicht viel falsch machen (3 Datteln für ca. 8 Euro) und ein kleinen Pfännchen Gemüse (für 9 Euro) Dazu haben wir uns eine Art Sandwich-Toast für knapp 15 Euro geteilt. Der Service war überlastet und genervt und der Laden war noch kicht mal halb voll. Es wurde sich auch in der Küche angebrüllt. Wir haben knapp 60 Euro bezahlt und waren nicht ansatzweise satt. Für diese Lage hätte ich mehr erwartet.

Food was amazing, we had 5-6 tapas, and even our kid - lvl 3, ate it. Shrimps, pulled chicken, really amazing fresh and hot! Were planning to come back tomorrow!

He tomado un vino blanco ( normal) y un par de tapas :una de pan “ tumaca” y otra con tomate, mango y aguacate. No he podido terminarme ninguna de ellas. Nada que ver con el concepto español de tapas. El personal amable y ambiente cocktelería.

Another lovely evening with delicious tapas at the Melia Hotel.

Ich habe endlich einen ruhigeren Tag erwischt. Bei zwei früheren Versuchen, hier zu essen, war kein Durchkommen. Die Bedienungen waren alle sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, und das Wichtigste - das Essen - war hervorragend. Die Auswahl an Bier ist begrenzt, aber die drei offenen Weine, die wir probiert haben, waren gut.

Not a great tapas place. Food was just ok. Service was close to non-existent.

We found this great Spanish tapas restaurant while wandering around our neighborhood in Berlin. Very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff. Definitely worth eating there. Make it a must go place for you. 

We visited the tapas place in the evening of today. We approached a young waitress who was in front of the screen at the entrace of the bar. We asked her about the place to sit but she rolled her eyes and using an angry and rude tone of voice she said: "Can you wait?" after a moment with the same attitude she asked "What do you want?" We responded that we just wanted to find a place to sit for two. She replied: "Choose wherever you want" (even ruder and angrier). Having such a disrespectful treatment, we just decided to go back to our room and have some wine from the minibar. When working in the field of hospitality, you must be aware of the importance of being respectful, professional and attentive.

Always worth a visit. As usual, excellent quality, cozy location, service friendly and fast.

This bar is like a small island in the middle of the (also gastronomic) surroundings. The tapas are fresh and excellent, the service, with exceptions, personal and friendly. A mystery (experienced twice): Why is the ratatouille in the pan undoubtedly made with lard? The beef fillet next to the vegetables that don't taste like vegetables... Incomprehensible.

A cool bar, ideal for ending an evening. A really friendly and considerate service team... we'll definitely be back :)

Geschmacklich war es wieder super, jedoch waren wir ein wenig von der Anrichtung der Speisen enttäuscht, das sah mal „netter“ aus. Das Personal war leider nicht sehr motiviert und eher unfreundlich. Schade!

Rundum perfekt! Reservierung perfekt am Fenster wie gewünscht, super freundliche Bedienung und leckere Tapas. Die einzelnen Tapas sind gegen andere Restaurants wirklich reichlich. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Fangen wir mit was positivem an: Der Service dort ist hervorragend, man hat gemerkt, dass der Kellner Spaß an seinem Job hatte und man hat sich sehr wohl gefühlt. Dafür gab es natürlich gutes Trinkgeld. Leider war das Essen nicht wie erwartet. Die Tintenfischringe waren nicht knusprig, sondern labrig und sahen nicht frisch aus. Die frittierte Paprika hatte eine komische Konsistenz und war zu salzig. Die Gambas in Knoblauchöl waren leider zu durch und die Aioli hatte eine sehr milchige, wässrige Konsistenz. Wir hatten noch das Rinderfilet mit Ratatouille, aber das war okey vom Geschmack her. Sehr schade.

The tapas and the fino were good, but the service was very disinterested and careless. But you sit very well. I would go there again. The location is great.

Nice place from the outside but the food really leaves a lot to improve. Potatoes were uncooked/fried and not eatable. Meatballs tasted of nothing. Read meat ok. A very mixed and unfortunately not good experience.

One of the most delicious espresso martinis. Our waiter was also excellent and he had just started working there. Food was ok, potatoes with mayo aioli is a must.

Super venlig betjening, vi bestilte tapas fad for 2 med blandet tapas. Tjener forklarede at der ville komme 3 serving er med blandt andet en varm ret. Vi havde lige fået velkomstdrink så vi bad tjener vente lidt med maden ( det skulle i gå hurtigt fortalte vi ham) efter 10/15 min kom maden og her kom alle retter både kolde og varme ! Hvorfor forklare de at der kommer 3 retter servering og så kommer de med det hele på en gang ?

We had booked an Easter surprise menu. So far so good. When you arrive at the restaurant you are greeted rudely from a distance away. Maybe the young Dane should take a etiquette course. Unfortunately there was no alternative when choosing the Easter menu. You had to take what came from the starter to the dessert. Starter: fish cake was oversalted and tasted like potato pancakes, Main course was ok for me but not for everyone (lamb from the leg) Dessert reminded me of Pinocchio plate Positive: the two Asian waiters made a real effort. Toilets were about 50 m away, you had to walk across the lobby. Restaurant overpriced Unfortunately not again

Perfekt - leckeres Essen, tolles und aufmerksames Personal. Qualität der Getränke ebenfalls einwandfrei. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl und wurden toll umsorgt.

We had several successful evenings here during our week-long stay in Berlin Mitte. The service was mostly on point with refreshing dialect humor. The wines, gin and tonics and food were always delicious. Gladly again!

The food was good, service OK. However, I am of the opinion that the price-performance ratio is not right. €8 for three large bacon-wrapped dates speaks for itself.

Atmosphere nice but food not good. Luke warm dishes, which I suspect had been cooked in advance and warmed up once ordered. Very disappointing as not great value for money.

Great dining experience without any flaw. Quick order processing with friendly service. We received good advice and were also flexible with small requests for changes. Food was served super quickly and was super tasty. A few small points of criticism: with a large platter for two people you spend a little longer eating, so it would be nice if the food could be kept warm on a stone or similar solution.

I lived in Spain for a while and have been to Spain many times since then. I have seen more than enough tapas bars from the inside not only in Spain but also in Germany. Rarely have I eaten such untasty tapas as in Meliá, especially for the money. The service was good - not necessarily nice, but reliable and quick. The wine was unexpectedly good.

Ein fantastischer Abend mit leckerem Essen und tollen Getränken.

Went here on Saturday and made a reservation as a precaution. By 6:30 p.m. almost all tables were occupied. Nevertheless, very fast and extremely friendly service. Drinks arrived within minutes of ordering. The tapas were well timed and very tasty. The small, but not too small, table for 4 people was completely sufficient and never too crowded. We will definitely take a look again.

The restaurant is located directly in the Melia Hotel! The food is very high quality. The service is very courteous and quick. The location is great on Friedrichstrasse. The price level is of course Berlin city price range! But we'd love to come back!

Essen prima, Preise hoch , doch für Lage und Qualität angemessen. Leider sehr sehr schmutzige Fensterscheiben( bei Buchung eines Tisches am Fenster , sehr ungünstig).

We had a very pleasant experience at this restaurant. The food was amazing, and the atmosphere and the attendance were excellent! We were greeted by the chef to be Sebastian Rosenberg, who made us feel very welcome, and we had a very pleasant time. Cheers to the whole Meliá team.

Expensive, service not convincing

Wir mussten einige Zeit am Empfang warten, nachdem wir einen Mitarbeiter ansprachen, wurde uns gesagt…. wir sind nur zu zweit. Ok, nicht mein Problem, das hätte man anders verpacken können. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis ist viel zu hoch. Die Servicemitarbeiter waren nett und sehr bemüht.

Had dinner here, with my wife, a couple of nights ago. The food was good. The restaurant was reasonably busy, so the atmosphere was OK and the surroundings were nice. We arrived early which seemed to leave the waiter a little less than pleased. However, there were many tables available, so our early arrival did not result in a need for a wait for a table. We did, along with others, have to wait for 5 minutes or so to be taken to our table. Although I'd specifically requested seats at the bar on my OpenTable booking, and there were many available when we arrived, and throughout our dinner, the waiter insisted on putting us at a table away from the bar. Beside the door, in fact! I got the impression that this was "pay-back" for arriving early! This place is OK if your objective is simply "to get something to eat".

This hotel is fantastic. Rooms are very nicely decorated and clean. The lounge on the 7th floor is awesome. You simply have to recommend this hotel. Kind regards ❤️

Schoenes Ambiente. Essen war toll, auch wenn es nur eine Kleinigkeit war.Allerdings war die Live-Musik etwas sehr laut.

Der Aufenthalt im Restaurant war hervorragend. Ebenso die ausgewählten Speisen und die Mitarbeiter. Wir haben die angenehme Atmosphäre genossen und werden gerne wieder erscheinen.

Wir hatten eine gute, reichhaltige Auswahl an Tapas auf unseren Platten. Alles war geschmacklich sehr gut und schön angerichtet.. Das Preis -Leistungs - Verhältnis stimmt. Man findet ein gemütliches Restaurant mit Bar vor. Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Wir bekamen eine gute Getränkeberartung.

There were 12 of us and we received excellent service. The drinks and food were quickly at the table. They were tasty and good value for money. We would love to come back.

Great food, varied menu with small Spanish starters, inexpensive and tasty, plus live Spanish music ensure a relaxed atmosphere! We particularly recommend the warm goat cheese and the prawns fried in garlic

Very good service. Food very tasty. However, the prices are hugely exorbitant. Wine spritzer 10 €, schnapps 4cl from 10 € Cola 4.70€ It's already intense.

Nice place in a good location. The food was - in every aspect: selection, presentation portion size, taste - good not great though. The service was sympatric and fast, but not outstanding in any way. The atmosphere is nice but not special. The prices were acceptable but appeared to include a premium for being in Berlin rather than anywhere. Overall we had a nice evening and I cannot say that I will not go back, but it was not the sensational experience I was expecting given that they specialize in tapas.
