An experience you simply have to have. As part of our Christmas party, it was an absolutely fantastic way to spend the evening together. The food was excellent, as were the atmosphere and the staff. Thank you so much, <3

A very pleasant evening meal convenient for the Reichstag area. We went for the 3-course menu with the vorspeise option and was recommended to order the Schneider Black Print wine. The food was excellent, with flavour intensity that comes with fine dining. Having been sceptical about ordering German red wine, that also didn't disappoint. It complemented the menu well. It was a pre-Christmas trip and there appeared to be a couple of work groups accommodated in private areas; there was no disturbance from them.

We had our Christmas party there as a murder mystery dinner. The service was extremely friendly and incredibly fast. The food was hot and tasted delicious. I can highly recommend it! 👍🏼

The murder mystery dinner brought us here. We were delighted by the beautiful setting. The train passing overhead added to the special atmosphere. Despite the dinner being well-attended (around 80 people), the service was very attentive and efficient. All in all, it was very pleasant, and we would definitely come again.

The celebration of a highly valued colleague's 60th birthday was a complete success. The service staff was very attentive.

We went there for a murder mystery dinner; the food was delicious, the staff very attentive, and the murder mystery was brilliantly conceived and superbly presented. Excellent entertainment. The ambiance is fine, as long as you can tolerate the noise of the trains passing overhead.

I don't think I need to say that it could have been a bit louder, so I'll focus on the positives. The staff was super friendly and the food—I can't really complain. There's only one thing, and that's the dessert: a glass of vanilla on top with a kind of berry mix underneath. My suggestion would be to replace the berries with those little seeds in them with something else, since the little seeds/grains keep getting stuck between your teeth. I have nothing else to complain about. More like this. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼😋

Everything is nice here and the food is also great but what is annoying is the noise from the trains that come constantly otherwise everything is good here

We came here twice for breakfast because we were unfortunately staying in the hotel next door! Breakfast was okay... Nothing bad, but nothing memorable either! After our sightseeing, we came here every evening for a nightcap. My wife praised the wines. We had dinner once. It was delicious, but you can't fill yourself up here! The service was really good every time! Even the trainee did a better job than the waitresses at many other restaurants.

I went there yesterday to buy some wine. Interestingly, I was only offered the wines from the wine list—with a corresponding surcharge. I had to make it very clear, repeatedly, that I only wanted to take wine. The employees were extremely agitated and unsure. When the manager arrived, the reason became clear: the manager was yelling at the ladies in front of me and wasn't even able to greet me. I felt very sorry for the employees. Given this miserable atmosphere, you'll never see me at Habel again.

We had a wonderful evening at Habel am Reichstag! The food was excellent, the atmosphere elegant yet relaxed, and the wine pairings were outstanding. The service was attentive and pleasant throughout. We were a group of four and truly enjoyed our time – it was easy to have a good conversation and savor the evening. “Crime Dinner” event booked in advance: Very good hygiene concept because of Corona. Four actors, suddenly one dead, together they “solve” the case and find the murderer. Each guest receives a name, an envelope and then has an assignment: they have to read a passage or interpret it freely. In between there are breaks with the 3-course menu. Crime Dinner was nice, more of a slapstick, but still entertaining. The Christmas 3-course menu was decent but not a top performance from the kitchen. Particularly noteworthy are the very hard-working, friendly service staff. You felt perfectly looked after without it seeming 'pushy' or fake.

We were there for dinner with a group (50 people), registered! The food took a long time and the waitresses were a bit overwhelmed. Very nice original atmosphere, I sat next to the front door, a cold and drafty place. The taste of the food was very good, the red jelly was a poem.

Food wasn't really tasty, staff was okay, neither really nice nor really unfriendly, restaurant was above a subway and there was an earthquake every 2 minutes.

I felt very comfortable here from a culinary point of view. Super nice service, fresh food with regional ingredients and a very inviting atmosphere.

We were here as a group. The food was pre-ordered and was delicious. Unfortunately not so hot anymore. The room we were sitting in was also quite cool. Not very comfortable. Otherwise a nice restaurant.

Worth a visit. The crime dinner was great. I really liked it.

The impression: Older people with physical disabilities are discriminated against and downright threatened there. What happened: My parents (over 80 and over 70 years old) were given a murder mystery dinner at this restaurant for Christmas. At no point (!) during the booking was it apparent that the event was not barrier-free. Then the “surprise” on site: the hall could only be reached via stairs (mostly without railings). A "barrier-free" way was suggested to enter and leave the hall via a side door through a poorly lit alley in order to reach the main entrance of the restaurant from outside (e.g. to reach the toilet). A path that was impossible for older people with limited mobility in the dark and slippery snow and ice. A compromise would certainly have been found. The manager took care of this by shouting at me and my parents that it wasn't his problem and standing in front of my parents in a threatening manner so that I had to stand in front of them to protect myself. Unfortunately we had to leave and were unable to attend the crime dinner due to the circumstances. The evening was not only sad, but downright traumatizing for my parents. Conclusion: A humiliating experience. -------- P.S.: If there is a reaction to the review from the restaurant, I would be surprised if it were in a different form than the form described above. q.e.d. The restaurant's response underlines the experience. May other guests be spared this.

Very small portions and very noisy cause trains are driving right above the ceiling

Location: very central I was very enthusiastic about the event, the food and service were great. People who have problems walking: toilets in the basement, a restaurant can only be reached by going up and down stairs. This is not a point of criticism, but intended as a note. If I have missed a lift, I would be happy to change my review.

We went to the crime dinner at Habel. The service and the event were really nice. Unfortunately, the food wasn't that great.

We were here for our Christmas party and were there for the crime thriller dinner. The background noise is really awesome. It's really incredibly loud there - all the people, the S-Bahn, the music and of course the program. The actors did a really good job. You have to do that Naturally liking something and getting involved with it. I personally didn't find the food particularly special. The portions were quite small. I had vegetarian and had 2 pieces of baked pumpkin instead of a duck leg - wow. That's not enough for over €80.

With a group on site. Enjoy your meal. Nice atmosphere.

Very nice and helpful employees. Catering had not delivered the champagne glasses without informing us and the Habel employees lent us 50 glasses without hesitation. Really super helpful.

We were there as part of the artdeshaus dinner thriller. The acting was outstanding! Chapeau to the ensemble. It was super fun that ALL guests were included and got to play a character. It was minimalist but great. The service was courteous, considerate, friendly and quick. Unfortunately the food wasn't that good. The meat for the main course was very stringy, the dessert had no taste (frozen fruit on natural yogurt with cake batter). The soup as a starter was ok.

A restaurant that is reminiscent of a castle wine cellar. Very tasteful, natural food, very friendly service. A place where you feel comfortable. We were there in a group from the Federal Press Office and were all very satisfied.

We went to the Habel dinner thriller for the first time and were more than thrilled. A great ambience, with good service and delicious food and of course the play round off this whole evening perfectly. We'd love to come back!

Eight of us were at a crime dinner in the Habel. The location is predestined for such an event. The atmosphere was good and the actors also lived their roles. It was my first time at an event like this and I can recommend it without hesitation. The service was excellent, as was the food. The dessert could have been a little more unusual for my taste (a kind of quark with fruit), but otherwise everything was right.

Very tasty food at a killer dinner. I particularly liked the roast beef. The service was attentive and quick from reception to payment.

We were here for a crime dinner. The performance was great and there was a lot of laughter. The food was very tasty, but unfortunately only warm. The waiters seem overwhelmed and some have forgotten the drinks they ordered. Sometimes it took a long time for the drinks to arrive.

Ich habe selten so schlecht gegessen. Und das bei den Preisen. Einfach unterirdisch. Aufmerksamer Service. Das ist wirklich der einzige Pluspunkt.

Eigentlich sehr schönes Restaurant, wenn nicht öfter mal eine S Bahn direkt vorbei fuhr. Essen war vorbestellt, da wir eine Reisegruppe waren. Trotzdem gut. Der Service war auch sehr gut und zuvorkommend.

Im Zuge einer politischen Bildungsreise durften wir hier einkehren. Absolut tolles und zuvorkommendes Personal, gutes und gleichzeitiges Essen für ca. 40 Personen. Wir waren mit einer großen Gruppe im HABEL. Das Essen war lecker und gut gewürzt. Das Personal war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Es ist gemütlich und wie in einem Weinkeller. Leider stören die über das Lokal fahrende Züge. Da vibriert das ganze Lokal.

Das Ambiente ist wirklich schön in einem alten sbahn Bogen, Service machte auch ein überaus freundlichen Eindruck aber das Essen... matschig/wässeriges ungewürztes Risotto und von den Preisen wollen wir gar nicht reden 0,20 Cola 3,70€!!! darum ist das Fazit: nein edit: sorry aber im adlon bekomme ich für nur 1,10€ mehr einen großen cappuccino....in eiem luxus-hotel an einer prime location! das lässt mich an der verhältnismäßigkeit des preises doch stark zweifeln wieso coesfeld? ich bin münsteraner und ms zentrum ist auch bei weitem kein günstiges pflaster

Ich fand das Lokal sehr schön. Das Essen ist nun mal Geschmackssache und das vegetarische Risotto war für mich persönlich leider nichts. Abgesehen davon ist es aber auch nicht das Wichtigste. Ich fand die Kellner/in sehr nett und bedanke mich sehr, dass wir bei Ihnen sein und essen durften.

Sehr netter und schneller Service. Das Ambiente ist toll und essen schmackhaft. Die Preise sind ortsüblich und in Ordnung.

Das Restaurant liegt verkehrsgünstig in Mitte, gut erreichbar. Der Service und das Essen waren in Ordnung, hinterlässt aber auch keinen bleibenden Eindruck. Leider gibt es hier nicht die Möglichkeit mit "gut" zu bewerten, zu einem "sehr gut" reicht es nicht.

Wir waren hier im Rahmen unserer Berlin Fahrt vom Bundespresseamt aus. Das Essen war sehr lecker, die Bedienung freundlich und aufmerksam. Für Wein-Liebhaber auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen! Dass die S-Bahn über einem drüber fährt ist jetzt auch eher charmant als störend ;)

Uriges Berlin-Gefühl-Lokal ,sehr leckeres bodenständiges Essen. Netter sympathischer Service.

Schickes Weinlokal und gutes Essen. Servis topp und dezent. Kann man gut weiterempfehlen.

Eigentlich ein wundervolles Ambiente, aber der Lärmpegel ist bei vollem Restaurant so hoch, dass man sich mit seinem Gegenüber kaum normal unterhalten kann und alle paar Minuten rauscht ein Zug über das Gebäude. Das Essen war sehr enttäuschend, wenig gewürzt, wenig und lieblos angerichtet. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und flink.

Dinner Krimi. Ganz tolle Erfahrung mit ebenso einzigartigen Schauspielern. Angenehmes Ambiente und vorzügliche Küche! Einzig die Akustik ist zumindest an einigen Plätzen optimierbar. Aber ganz klare Empfehlung für einen mal etwas anderen Abend!

Top Location mit Charme, Restaurant separat mit 2 x großen Veranstaltungsräumen und nochmals was im Basement . Gefällt mir persönlich sehr gut.

Staying next door at the Arte Luise Kunsthotel, we took breakfast here. Classic German buffet, quiet and calm. On our last night we took dinner as well. Excellent classic German cooking with a few Mediterranean twists and impeccable service. Not particularly cheap but good value considering the quality. An exciting wine list, though more by the glass would have been welcome. Unexpectedly, an interesting range of Turkish wines as well (The restaurant has a Turkish owner I was told). Though quiet when we dined we saw the place packed on occasion so booking might be wise.

Waren im Rahmen einer Abendveranstaltung mit einer größeren Gruppe vor Ort. Die Lokalität ist als solche schön gemacht, auch die ausgestellten Bilder sind eine ganz angenehme Abwechslung bei der Deko. Essen & Getränke leider eher lieblos bzw. fad. Natürlich ist es für größere Gruppen auch durchaus schwierig so etwas on Point hin zu bekommen, sehe hier aber doch noch viel Luft nach oben, auch was die Verwendung von Gewürzen betrifft. Personal mittelmäßig desinteressiert und etwas unterbesetzt. Buffet wurde zwar hin und wieder aufgefüllt aber war irgendwie auch nicht an die Gruppengröße angepasst. Da gewesen, Haken dran, keine bleibende Erinnerung.

Wir waren mit einer Gruppe dort. Die Location in einem S Bahnbogen ist zwar originell, aber auf Dauer nervt es, wenn einem im Minutentakt die Bahn über den Kopf rattert. Das Essen war leider maximal mittelmäßig, sehr einfach und schmeckte mir persönlich überhaupt nicht. Zum satt werden war es auch zu wenig.

Das Restaurant sieht sehr idyllisch aus und man fühlt sich wohl in der Atmosphäre. Nur ist das Essen nicht besonders gut und die Portionen sind relativ klein. Es ist zwar was fürs Auge aber nicht für den Magen. Nicht sehr empfehlenswert!

Laut Homepage steht das "HABEL am Reichstag" seit 1779 für die liebevolle Verbindung erlesener Weine und gutbürgerlich-regionaler Küche in unkompliziert-gastlicher Atmosphäre. Im neuen und alten Herzen der Stadt treffen sich hier Berliner, Besucher, Künstler, Sportler, Unternehmer und Minister. Für uns war es zunächst nur "der Frühstücksraum" von unserem Arte Luise Kunst Hotel. Allerdings nahmen wir dort nie ein Frühstück ein, aber am 24.03.2023 einen Absacker in Form von Berliner Weiße in rot und grün (nochmal Durst gehabt). Sehr zu meinem Erstaunen war das Habel draußen mit "Brasserie" und unser Arte Hotel Luise nebenan mit "Künstlerheim Luise" beschriftet. Da "Äußerliche" ist in beiden Fällen absolut zutreffend. Um 21:30 Uhr in allen Räumen noch gut besucht. Zu schade, dass es nur bis 22 Uhr geöffnet ist. Und obendrein zwischen 10:30 und 12 Uhr auch!!

Es hat alles gepasst in diesen Restaurant. Essen super lecker und wirklich frisch zubereitet, Getränke gut temperiert und der Service einfach klasse. Kann und werde ich gerne weiter empfehlen. Klasse Location

Interessante Location in der Nähe zum Reichstag für große und kleine Gruppen geeignet. Leider war das Essen (Hühnchen) nicht ganz heiß, deshalb Punktabzug. Die Konsistenz der Roten Grütze als Nachtisch war nicht so nach unserem Geschmack. Auch die Vanillesoße war nicht mehr als ein Klecks darauf.

Absolut amüsantes Krimidinner :) das Ambiente war sehr gemütlich und die Schauspieler großartig . Aber auch die Kellner waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir kommen sehr sehr gerne wieder.
