The place is kind of creepy... but it's full of Chinese people, so it should be good...

This was my second visit, took a friend along for good Chinese dinner. But women there were rude, racist. They served us wrong dish and made us pay for it. Since it was on our plate till we realised the filling is not the one we ordered, we let them know and they told us you can eat it. Later made us pay for the dish, when we didn’t agree to pay for an extra dish one woman (the one who served wrong) came and made a scene begging for money. I paid the extra cash but this left a bad taste in my mouth. Reading comments I realised this isn’t a one of behaviour. Scheme to make money! Never visiting again.

The food was good no doubt but they made a mistake with our order and then forced us to pay for it bcz we had put it in our plates unfortunately.. they asked us if we will eat it we said fine thinking they would not charge us bcz it’s their mistake first of all . However the lady in the restaurant was so cheap that she blamed us for eating the food . I didn’t really understand what the …. she would have done with the food in our plates if we had rejected to eat it

Absolutely delicious and authentic! If you want to try authentic food, you have to come by!!! The taste is just like in China! It deserves a better Google rating.

I ordered the beef tripe with black bean sauce, and after taking a bite, something felt off. I asked the waitress if there was something wrong with the dish, and the older waitress immediately took it away. Then the owner came over and said she had tasted it and that's what it tasted like, asking what the problem was… What a rip-off! She even said, "If you don't want it, I won't charge you for this dish…" Later, I went to argue with her at the counter, and she was incredibly rude, as if I had done something wrong… Avoid this place! I'll never come back.

Good lunch specials - reasonably priced and tasty.

I ordered dinner, and it took almost 40 minutes to get it. The food was already ready by then, and the woman there knew exactly where I was. Despite this, she didn't say anything and made me wait until I asked. When I finally received the order, the food was cold, and the sauce was poorly packaged and leaked out on the way home.

I'm writing this review purely to complain about that bespectacled male server. I've been a burger joint owner for years and eat here regularly; the food is quite good, and the older female server is very nice. But this bespectacled male server always looks at you like you're his enemy, ignoring you completely. If he doesn't even have basic manners, he shouldn't be in the service industry… Oh, it's just a normal meal, and he acts like I sent his parents away. Because I don't want to see this server anymore, I'm not going to burger joints anymore. There are so many burger joints and Chinese restaurants; why should I get treated like this just to eat?

Even if the wrong meal is delivered, a tip is still required.

The food was simply fantastic. I've been looking for a restaurant like this for a long time and I'm so glad I found it. I can wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who wants authentic food.

Apart from other things, their combination of grilled pork and rice is truly filling and delicious. The grilled pork is very flavorful. It would be even better if you could pour the sauce over the rice.

We ordered various dim sum dishes. All were excellent in taste and texture. We will be back to try more dishes. The decor is old and simple, but that doesn't matter when the food is so delicious. The service was friendly. There were many Asian customers.

Anyone who comes here should ONLY come for the food – I repeat – FOOD ‼️‼️ and not for the comfortable tables, good restrooms, and German-speaking service staff ‼️This is Hong Kong, and the food is authentic Chinese, thankfully including the cuisine, which you should already be familiar with. The dim sum selection is fantastic, and all the ones we tried were freshly prepared and first-class 👌🏻! The other dishes we tried were also 😋! Our service (female + Chinese) was friendly, prompt, and spoke German. Anyone who has no idea about real, authentic Chinese food should stay away. Everyone else: please visit quickly – highly recommended ‼️

This Restaurant is pretty authentic Cantonese (Hong Kong style) dim dum store. First I'd like to adress the service: Hence why the service might come off as "rude". Which is indeed true, if you compare it to other type of restaurants in Germany, but to be fair, it is just how the service is in Hong Kong as well. Though I must admit, as a mando speaker I feel like they seem a little bit more rude to you since you don't speak canton. I have visited this restaurant multiple times, and the attitude to be fair never changes, so it's kinda their thing I guess. The food however had changed over the year, I must admit, today's visit wasn't the best. But in comparison to other restaurant, it seems quite fine.

There was a waiter inside. He had a thin face and was not young. He had a very cold and stern attitude, as if he owed him more than he paid back. If you asked him anything, he would just give you a cold shoulder. The food was not good either, very salty.

The guy who served us didnt say much, so for many people it might be observed to be rude (But its kinda standard behaviour when you get used to old fashioned Hong Kong restaurants). However, food isnt very great. Dough is very thick in many Dim Sums. Only thing which is acceptable is the 炒河 (Fried rice noodle). Price is ok-ish

Me and 3 friends went in to eat, the service attitude was extremely poor, contempt for customers, Tipping is a culture, but the service was not good and if you want to tip, it's very expensive, the food is salty, I gave my opinion and they said it was made for Germans to eat, so it's salty.

We really enjoy the food. Service has also improved in recent months, which I personally find very pleasant. It's a pleasure to go there. We don't personally like the ambiance as much, as it's dated and often very loud (though that's not the staff's fault, it's the guests themselves). We'll continue to go there regularly.

The selection of dim sum is extensive, and the fact that many Chinese people eat there speaks volumes about the restaurant. The lunch menu offers many German-Chinese dishes for €9 to €11, with a soup or spring roll as a starter. Good taste, good prices, good service, and the ambiance ranges from quirky to simple. If you want good, affordable Chinese food on the corner, you should try this place.

The food here is cheap (half the price as that of Amsterdam Cantonese restaurant), but eat it will cause you a drop in moodlet. Has never seen such a fat spring roll, the side touching the plate is soak in who-knows-what liquid; beef stew is unpleasantly salty. Was served the food I didn't order, when I return it, I hear laughter rather than sorry. Horrible combination of food and service.

The food was great, comes with a big serve. Yum-cha was tasty. Fried rice and other dishes were also very yummy. A great place for a group of ppl, family, and friends to gather. Service is ok but you need to 'ask' for assistance. The toilets are small.

I ordered a piece of roasted pork. Several pieces were pure fat meat with pork skin. It was completely inedible. The smell of pig was also very strong. It felt like it was not processed. The food tastes good but the workers are rude and racist. Absolutely unacceptable. The most rude thing was, that they were trying to tell me that i do not know how to eat a certain dish, so so I shouldn't order. Next they told us to sit on a corner next to the toilet 🚻. it's best to order and go but not dine in if you are black !!!!

The food wasn't bad, but you can find equal and even better Chinese food in this area of ​​Hamburg. Food outstanding and authentic, incredibly large menu. Duck was the best of my life, the sauces were also brilliant. Yes, the service is a bit "reserved", but at least it became a little more friendly when asked about chopsticks. The Chinese couple next to us amazed us time and time again with their choice of food (very authentic... never seen before). Dim sum with lobster meat were also good.

One member or staff very rude, wouldn’t even let one of us out for a smoke saying he has to pay if he would like to go outside, food okay, atmosphere meh not too loud but that’s due to it only being small, mains came before starters (called starters for a reason). MEI MOON, Chinese restaurant in the Bremen Row, directly opposite the main train station. After being seated and ordering, the food was served quickly. The soup (included) for the lunch dish of crispy duck with pineapple was tasty. The service team was friendly despite the quick work.

Unfortunately, I didn't have a good impression of this place. More precisely: 1. The dining room was full of the smell of grease, 2. The service was very stressed and rude. No hello when we were greeted, just how many people we were & I also found the silent bringing of the food very inappropriate. In addition, we didn't have the opportunity to order anything again. 3. mixed salad that I ordered, well let's put it that way... a little more green would have been nice - I think it was from a can with soy sauce (picture follows). Terrible waiter, expressionless, not saying thank you, not saying hello, not saying goodbye, no eye contact, complaining in Cantonese about normal customer requests even though we just wanted some hot water. Service 0 points.

These people are so rude, everyday people complain about them. Because they think they have nice food so people will still come regardless their rudeness. I don’t understand why people keeps going to them. I would never recommend such restaurant to anybody. Customer care is very important and these people knows but don’t care. I’ve been there couple of times and I promised myself never to go there again. After rudeness and bad behavior, they still ask for tips when you want to pay for your food. Why would I give such person a tip?

Be sure to try Szechuan beef (S3). And definitely not just that! They simply cook deliciously. Highly recommended for lunch. Fast (!!!) and delicious!

I have never been treated so disrespectfully!!! We just asked if a certain dish was offered and were yelled at. Then of course we left, the employee followed us and asked us to pay to use the toilet. Bad service is not a description of what we had to endure there….

Dear readers, Unfortunately I can only give 1 star. I have been a restaurateur for many years and also own a restaurant. I am deeply disappointed with the service, the atmosphere and the food. The service was just shockingly bad. Without a hello (good day...) you are shown the place without eye contact with your back facing you as you walk past. The menu only came after 10-15 minutes. The ordering process wasn't good, after a short time you just feel uncomfortable. Drinks arrived late after the meal and no smile/goodbye when paying. Unfortunately, the ambience is not pleasant and indicates a very poor closing. The food is not worth mentioning. After a very nice day in Hamburg, my good mood was reduced to zero. Really unfortunate.

We ordered B41 for 15€, and then got charged 25€, and then we realized that it was another menu. We asked the restaurant lady because we were confused. But she said that we already ate the 25€ menu so we had to pay it. But she was directly getting angry and didn’t say sorry or anything, but shouting at us instead. We would’ve paid if she had said sorry or given us a good manner of business. I would never recommend anyone to go there. No wonder they got 3,9 stars.

The service is very bad. I ordered food and had to wait 1 hour. People came after me to order food and they finished eating and went home while I was still waiting. the food is good, but the service is lagging, not too friendly. Normally with Chinese food you need to get a bowl and chopsticks with your food, but they assume none Asians cannot use these utensils. asking for chopsticks I got only the the chopsticks but not the bowl.

If you go here to be treated kindly by the staff, you should stay away. That's generally not the case here, but rather the opposite. I had dinner there with my husband and my daughter. When the woman brought us the menu she didn't say hello or make any sound and my daughter felt totally uncomfortable there. I have to say the food was still good but I wouldn't go there again.

First of all: The ambience and service can be improved, but the food is very good and authentic. If you don't care about ambience and want to eat well, this is the place for you.

One of my favorite Chinese restaurants in Hamburg. The dim sum here is outstanding—the best in the town I’ve had so far, with generously sized and flavorful fillings. Most of the dishes I’ve tried are also very good and taste authentically Chinese. However, there have been a few occasional missteps. For example, the rice served with roasted meat on a recent visit was too dry to enjoy, and the Mapo tofu didn’t quite meet my expectations. Despite these minor issues, the restaurant remains a top choice for me. It’s affordable and still a very good place to enjoy Chinese cuisine. Just be prepared for a bit of a wait, as the restaurant is small and often crowded.

I was there with friends. A friend was racially discriminated against by the waiter before we were seated. Avoid this place. What was going on was inhumane.

Bad experience with the waiter, approached several guests negatively and also started a discussion with me. I pointed out to him about allergies, I was supposed to say what I can eat and he then says what works. Food was then brought and there was a dish that I wasn't allowed to eat and I spoke to him about it. Answer: my companion can eat it and he can't know what I want to eat from it. When I asked him to take it away, he snapped and said it would stay on the table. We paid and left without finishing our meal. Never again in such an unfriendly restaurant. Preferably zero stars!!!

For this price I can get better food at any Asian takeaway. The offering didn't have a restaurant feel. Value for money was a disaster. Overall not recommended.

After a strenuous day at the trade fair, I wanted to go out for an authentic Asian meal. The recessions here promised good things but I was bitterly disappointed! Not just the service, if you want to call the wordless taking of the order and payment request or the almost throwing down the drinks or food as service. No, the food was really bad too. The chicken wasn't cooked through, the vegetables were still limp, spongy and the sauce tasted like Knorr gravy, just mixed with less water than specified. I know Asian cuisine differently and am irritated but whoever likes it...
