First of all: The ambience and service can be improved, but the food is very good and authentic. If you don't care about ambience and want to eat well, this is the place for you.

One of my favorite Chinese restaurants in Hamburg. The dim sum here is outstanding—the best in the town I’ve had so far, with generously sized and flavorful fillings. Most of the dishes I’ve tried are also very good and taste authentically Chinese. However, there have been a few occasional missteps. For example, the rice served with roasted meat on a recent visit was too dry to enjoy, and the Mapo tofu didn’t quite meet my expectations. Despite these minor issues, the restaurant remains a top choice for me. It’s affordable and still a very good place to enjoy Chinese cuisine. Just be prepared for a bit of a wait, as the restaurant is small and often crowded.

I was there with friends. A friend was racially discriminated against by the waiter before we were seated. Avoid this place. What was going on was inhumane.

Bad experience with the waiter, approached several guests negatively and also started a discussion with me. I pointed out to him about allergies, I was supposed to say what I can eat and he then says what works. Food was then brought and there was a dish that I wasn't allowed to eat and I spoke to him about it. Answer: my companion can eat it and he can't know what I want to eat from it. When I asked him to take it away, he snapped and said it would stay on the table. We paid and left without finishing our meal. Never again in such an unfriendly restaurant. Preferably zero stars!!!

I just discovered that the lady boss here doesn’t ask for a tip if she wants one! ? Is this how tips are collected? I have traveled to many countries and encountered it for the first time!

The food was pretty good, but the service attitude was extremely poor. The waiter had a stern face the whole time. When he asked for a tip at the checkout, he acted like I owed him a huge sum of money. To be honest, the 0.5 euro tip I gave him was too much because of his attitude.

Unfortunately the food was worse than mediocre. The waitress wasn't particularly friendly. The location is good and easily accessible by public transport. For this price I can get better food at any Asian takeaway. The offering didn't have a restaurant feel. Value for money was a disaster. Overall not recommended.

After a strenuous day at the trade fair, I wanted to go out for an authentic Asian meal. The recessions here promised good things but I was bitterly disappointed! Not just the service, if you want to call the wordless taking of the order and payment request or the almost throwing down the drinks or food as service. No, the food was really bad too. The chicken wasn't cooked through, the vegetables were still limp, spongy and the sauce tasted like Knorr gravy, just mixed with less water than specified. I know Asian cuisine differently and am irritated but whoever likes it...

The food are okay. The staff are extremely rude. Only when they tip do they suddenly find themselves in a good mood. :)

Food OK. Service very bad, very rude. Not recommendable! We had to wait a long time before we were allowed to pay, after we didn't give a tip the waitress just left without saying goodbye or anything. Really bad here.

It is really delicious and the portion is very large. The children praised it as delicious while eating. The stir-fried vegetables are also served with rice. The boss is very good at doing business, has a good attitude and is very gentle.

We had lunch that day. We waited for 15 minutes until it opened. The food was really good!!! We even planned to go back for dinner. However.. as we paid, the server didn't give us our change back... when we asked.. she said it is for service money. We spent 2 weeks in Germany. We had been eating at many different kinds of restaurants, italian, Japanese, Chinese or German Restaurants... we always get our changes back even if it is only for a couple of pennies.. We have no problem by giving extras for service. If the extra for service is asked politely... we won't mind giving all the last euros for her. *the mapo tofu is really good

Edit: I went back once after this experience and the new experience included hearing the staff saying racial slur about a black customer after they left, murmuring how dirty they made the table (which was not even true, they left it in a completely normal state maybe with a few accidental drops of sauce on the table). I learnt my lesson and vowed to never come back. People talked about this partiality towards Asians/Chinese speaking people here- I’m not sure if it’s true (I'm Cantonese-speaking Asian), but you would definitely get the worst service if you go there, regardless of your race. So that’s quite an once in a lifetime experience in itself. They were rude and just mean to us. After cramping in a two-people table (we were three), with a promise that we could take the small table next to us when the person sitting there left, we were not allowed to use the table. Instead, we were told that we could no longer put our belongings in the empty seat cos now they need to give this table to someone else. So long story short, the whole time, we cramped at a table for two as a party at three. After we voiced our discontent, the lady started to just straight out ignore us. The whole time she was trying to get our dishes with food still on them. I asked for the cheque and she didn’t even look at me but in the end brought me the cheque. Worst experience in my life.

Authentic Cantonese cuisine. Delicious! Recommended! There are fried noodles and rice for those less adventurous. I like to come for the dim sums 🥟.

We ate very well. The Korean food was excellent and we both left very full. The drinks were good too. Price performance was good. The service was courteous, friendly and quick. Ambiance went well with everything. Lovely again.

Cantonese restaurant, I ordered roasted pork rice and shrimp dumplings, both were delicious. There are many choices. I will visit again. You can only pay in cash.

Drinnen ist immer der Charme einen Pommes Bude, aber wenn man sich überwunden hat, bekommt man hier tolles chinesisches Essen. Das sieht man auch daran 90% der Gäste sind Asiaten. Aber die nehmen es eh mit dem Ambiente nicht so genau: Hauptsache das Essen schmeckt.

If nothing else, you must try A22 “while it’s warm” Have a beer too. Seriously, this is a fantasy.

Very good Chinese food. Offal and pig's trotters are also on the menu, which is very extensive overall. The furnishings are simple without much decoration and therefore fit into the district. The service is quick, I waited less than 15 minutes for my food.

A restaurant with delicious dim sum and roast duck. I highly recommend the roast duck. Among dim sum, I highly recommend the rice roll with pork and steamed shrimp dumplings.

As far as the food was concerned, it was quite ok, there was probably always a teaspoon of glutamate thrown in, but oh well, but the woman and the man with the glasses didn't even say thank you for the tip and instead looked at you stupidly. In China or wherever they come from in Hong Kong, probably as soon as I know it's not customary to tip, but we're in Germany and you have to adapt to our values.

It took a long time to order food, but no one came to serve us. I am indeed not from Hong Kong. I am a student studying here from Zhejiang. But when I told the waiter that we wanted to order, she just gave me a blank look. . . Do you like to divide the mainland and Hong Kong so much? It was a very bad purchase. When I was checking out, I took my money in my hand and asked directly how much tip I should give. Why don't you just grab it if you deduct it directly? Never go again

A solid, tasty lunch at an acceptable price for years. Staff is friendly and attentive. There is also authentic cuisine, for those who like it.

My mother and I have been coming here regularly for 23 years. Unfortunately, the quality has changed regularly over the years. Currently the chef seems to have changed, the taste is different than usual, but for those who know it like we do, it's still pretty good food. It was definitely delicious and we'll be back :)

My absolute favorite restaurant in Hamburg. Always something going on, the best food and I love the spirit there. So close to the main train station, cheap and the food is very good. Like wellness for the body.

Be sure to try Szechuan beef (S3). And definitely not just that! They simply cook deliciously.

It was stuffy and the food was very unauthentic. Only rice rolls were available. The other siomai, fresh bamboo rolls, and leek dumplings were all highly not recommended. Two points for rice rolls, Cantonese people really don’t recommend it!

Except for a hello, my soup was forgotten when I first ordered it and they were too polite to say goodbye. The Wan Tang soup was more of a Maggi ready soup. Even the marinated meat had no taste.

Unfortunately the food is not authentically Chinese. It is very European and more comparable to an "all you can eat" Chinese or a fast food Chinese place. So I was very disappointed. Dishes like Gong Bao Chicken or Mapo Tofu were very lightly seasoned. The advertised DimSum were also rather bland. The main course is very large dishes, larger than what I have seen in other Chinese restaurants. In my opinion the menu is too varied The service wasn't really friendly and seemed very annoyed. My conclusion, I was in the restaurant for the last time today. I much prefer to go to the competition on the other side of the train station, where you get a much friendlier welcome and really authentic Chinese cuisine.

You have to differentiate between the food and the rest. The food is authentic, tasty, cheap and sufficient! The service is rather cold, but if you don't expect the sugar service, you can do that too. The shop is rather simply furnished but everything fits together. I like it, more of a pub atmosphere :)

The food is tasty, the prices are acceptable, the service is far from perfect. The waitresses seem to work as punishment. Generally, you can eat there, but I wouldn't expect fireworks

Always busy between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. Best to reserve. Food is great. I've been eating here since I was a child. There are NO options for wheelchair users to get there alone. You have to go down a few stairs to get to the restaurant.

Been going there for a quite some time now and the service is very poor. Witnessed the way they treated black guests I’ve lost appetite. Gave it a chance once more cause I wanted to prove myself wrong, but again seen the same behaviour. It’s important to treat everyone equally cause they are all paying guests. I found it racist and disrespectful. Never again! It’s a shame!

We had dinner at Mei Moon with work colleagues in the evening. The table was reserved a week in advance and worked out well. The food is excellent. The soups taste good and the dim sum is highly recommended. The duck was crispy and with little fat. The staff would like to smile a little more and be a little friendlier. Otherwise everything was good and we can recommend this restaurant.

Can't wait to visit here again. Great pork dishes

I have never been to a place where the staff was as rude as here!! I ordered take away . The waitress almost shoved me to get past me! The food was undescribable: the soup was water with some dumplings, the chicken with noodles was tasteless and smelt sour but the worst thing was what they call spring roll. A puffy thing soaked in oil, cost 5 euros(!) which of course I did not even consider eating...the tip of all this?? No receipt!! They gave me the bag , I paid cash 20 euros and was never given a receipt because the waitress never put the money in a cashier to produce a receipt , but in a drawer!! Avoid, you are going to regret it....

Sehr gutes Essen. Das merkt man, dass selbst dort viele Asiaten essen gehen. Man kommt von europäisch asiatisch bis "originale" Gerichte alles, was einem gerade so in den Sinn kommt. Vielleicht ein paar zuviele Gerichte auf der Karte . Aber das kann jeder selbst entscheiden. Gern wieder...

Das Essen schmeckt gut. Leider wird der Service immer unfreundlichen. Kein Hallo, Speisekarte wird auf den Tisch geknallt und dann gegangen. Selbst für das Trinkgeld gab es mehrere male schon kein Danke. Ich empfinde es als sehr Kundenunfreundlich.

Einfaches China Restaurant. Mittagstisch ist sehr günstig. Ein Essen war hervorragend, eines eher durchschnittlich. Nichts für einen romantischen Abend aber alle mal für ein schnelles Essen 😊

Das Essen war OK. Leider wurde das Essen nicht zeitlich abgestimmt aufgetischt. Die jüngere Bedienung war gut, aber wie die beiden älteren Bedienungen mit uns und anderen Gästen umgegangen sind ist mehr als fragwürdig. Die haben die Gäste richtiggehend umhergescheucht (auch betagte Gäste). Man kam sich vor wie eine Checkbox, die abgearbeitet werden MUSS.

Ich war nach langer Zeit gestern in Begleitung wieder da, leider hat uns das Essen nicht überzeugt. Das beste war noch die Vorsuppe. Es gibt andere Chinarestaurants in Hamburg die vllt ein paar Euro mehr kosten aber, dort bekommt man dann auch wirklich gute Qualität und besondere Speisen.

Bestes kantonesisches Restaurant in Hamburg, es gibt bezüglich Dimsum keinen Vergleich. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder

Sind zum Geburtstag heute eingeladen worden . Das Essen war super lecker ! Wir hatten mehrere Dimsum ausprobiert und andere Spezialitäten wie Hühnerfüsse . Bedienung war freundlich. Ambiente ist ok

Tips for authentic Cantonese food: The menu is catered for everyone, the first few pages show westernised chinese dishes mainly catered to Western palate. If you want the real deal, skip to the "Dim Sum" pages with pictures, from there onwards you will find the menu of authentic Cantonese food.

Schmeckt alles wie ein gewöhnliches Imbissangebot, kein Pfiff, aber überteuert. Für uns ist es keine Option mehr.

Super leckeres Essen, freundliche Bedienung. Zentral gelegen.

Schönes authentisches kantonesisches Essen, das sehr lecker und sehr erschwinglich war. Die Dekoration des Restaurants ist cool. Ich würde auf jeden Fall die brat Reis mit Ente und Dim Sums mit gebratenen Garnelen und gebratenem Tintenfisch empfehlen. Jedes Gericht hatte eine sehr gute Qualität.

全汉堡找不出第二家这样的中餐厅。餐厅非常大，可以说是非常的豪华了。卫生间设置在地下与用餐区域隔离可以说是非常的干净又卫生了。服务员的态度也很好，一看就是受过专业训练的。尤其是那个带黑框眼镜短头发瘦不拉几的小哥，可以说是人没多大个却把服务业的匠人精神发扬光大，实在是佩服！说说饮食，首先不得不提那个肠粉。皮儿薄馅儿多味道浓郁，我在国内都没吃过这么正宗的广州肠粉！还有那个水晶虾饺，推荐你们一定要点！是绝对良心的菜品！至于饭，他们是点了菜以后各种随便添也包括炒饭，实属良心！我就是横竖都得说，这家餐厅离着火车站是又近又便宜。老板人也特好，算账也仔细从不多收顾客一分钱！我再次宣布那什么半边天啊和其他的中餐馆在“美月中餐馆”面前都是弟弟。不信你们去试试就知道了！

Dieses kleine Restaurant hat bestimmt schon bessere Zeiten erlebt. Das Personal ist schnell und sehr freundlich. Das Essen war okay, jedoch nichts besonderes. Preis Leistung stimmt.

Das Essen war sehr lecker. Große Auswahl. Für das, was geboten wurde auch nicht zu teuer.

Bitte nicht von der Lage und dem Ambiente abschrecken lassen. Das Essen schmeckt gut und ist sehr authentisch. Ich esse meist Kai Lan bzw die leckeren Dim Sum.

Das Essen ist wirklich unschlagbar. Absolut köstlich. Das Ambiente ist in Ordnung. Es gibt dort eine sehr besondere Bedienung, die leider nicht darüber im klaren ist, wie man mit Gästen umgeht. Es ist zu lecker. Da kann auch die möchtegern Bedienung nichts daran ändern.

Bin immer mega zufrieden mit allem auch das Preis Leistungsverhältnis finde ich super liege mit 3 Getränken 3 Hauptgerichte und 3 mal Dim Sum + Ananas fritiert € und alle gingen satt raus Leider drei Fotos nicht gemacht

Das Ambiente erinnert an einen imbiss. Aber das Essen ist fantastisch und sehr original chinesische Küche . Aber es gibt auch für deutsche Menschen angepasste Gerichte. Es gehen viele Chinesen dort essen. Mein Lieblingschinese

Authentisch Katonisch - wer es mag, so, wie meine Begleitung - sie fand es top! Meine Peking Gemüsesuppe war eher fade. Ente Szechuan Art war gut 👍 Das Bier vom Faß war leider zu warm, mir wurden Eiswürfel dafür angeboten.. :-(

Be dem Betreten des Lokals im Souterrain wird man schon abgeschreckt, da man auf einen vergitterten Lagerraum zuläuft. Einrichtung und Möbel des voll gestopften Gastraumes weisen starke Gebrauchsspuren auf, Atmosphäre eines Strassenimbisses. Die Speisekarte ist abschreckend und sollte eigentlich abschrecken: Gebrauchsspuren, fettige Plastikhüllen und über 400 (!) Gerichte! Das Essen ist einfache, „chinesische“ vorgefertigte Massenfood, die gleich schmeckt- süss-sauer durch einfache Zuckersaucen und salzig durch die Sojasauce. Service lieblos und Tellersprache „überfüllte Teller“ Wer im ZDF die Sendung „ besser essen“ von Sebastian Lege anschaut kann hinter die Kulisse der asiatischen Billigstfood blicken. Die Portionen sind gross und relativ billig, was bei den einfachen Zutaten klar ist.

Wir hatten sechs Dim Sum. Diese Summe reicht für zwei Personen gut aus. Es ist toll dass man eine riesen Auswahl hat. Das Ambiente ist okay. Hauptbahnhofnähe eben. Im großen und ganzen bekommt man aber eine große Auswahl für einen guten Preis.
