Als Hamburger haben wir gestern diesem super zentral gelegenen Restaurant endlich Mal einen Besuch abgestattet. Unsere Auswahl der Gerichte aus der authentischen Karte war ein Volltreffer. Wir kommen gerne wieder, hier gibt es noch viel auszuprobieren. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich, auch hier: Daumen hoch.

Vi var et vennepar på fire. Hadde ikke bestilt bord på forhånd, men ble tatt godt i mot. Restauranten virket ren både på bordene og på toalettet. Vi bestilte en samlet meny tilpasset fire personer. Som vanlig på kinesiske restauranter kom mat og drikke svært raskt på bordet. Åpnet med en suppe som var litt i sterkeste laget uten at vi ble gjort oppmerksom på det. De øvrige rettene var gode og det var mer enn nok mat til oss alle. Restauranten anbefales.

It's really a disaster at all from taste, environment to service. Their understanding of Chinese food is still struggling on the line of survival. The ingredients were so stale that they needed to be over-seasoned to cover it up, but it wasn't seasoned well. The environment really ruins this position. Even basic hygiene cannot be done well. Again, their understanding of the Chinese restaurant environment is still before liberation. Very picky style. This is the only restaurant that only accepts cash. There must be a tax evasion. I really regret walking into this store and will dissuade everyone who comes to/lives in Hamburg to pay attention to avoid.

Fast 18€ für ein normales Gericht OHNE Beilage (z.B. Reis) finde ich für die kleine Portion und den recht faden Geschmack VIEL zu teuer. Bei dem Preis kann man meiner Meinung nach erwarten, dass der Reis, der ja sonst immer beim Gericht mit dabei ist, inklusive ist und nicht 2€ extra kostet. Leider viel zu teuer geworden und ein Hinweis auf der Karte oder von der Bedienung wäre schön gewesen, da dies SEHR ungewöhnlich ist und ich bei der Bestellung nur die Nummer des Gerichts genannt habe. Antwort: Ich hatte die 93 bestellt (glaub ich). Aber keinen Reis, da ich davon ausging, der sei bei dem Preis mit dabei, so wie in allen anderen Lokalen (man möchte ja nicht nur Fleisch und Soße essen). Mir wurde trotzdem Reis gebracht. Später beim Bezahlen dann die böse Überraschung. Sowas finde ich nicht in Ordnung. Man kommt sich reingelegt vor und der Spaß am Essengehen vergeht. Man hätte vorher Bescheid geben oder fragen müssen, ob man Reis dazu möchte, der extra kostet (nicht einfach bringen und extra berechnen). Die Portion war (für letztendlich 20€) sehr klein. Vielleicht wurde nicht die Mehrwertsteuer auf 19% erhöht, aber der Reis exkludiert? Vor ein paar Monaten war das noch nicht so, zumindest wurde uns da der Reis nicht extra berechnet. Schade. Antwort auf Ihre Antwort: Rindfleisch Chop Suey. Und nein, ich wurde eben NICHT gefragt, ob ich etwas dazu möchte. Darum geht es ja. Mir wurde einfach Reis gebracht und ich sollte extra dafür bezahlen, obwohl ich diesen nicht hätte bezahlen müssen, da ich ihn nicht bestellt habe. Ich habe ihn gegessen, weil ich ihn ja bekommen habe und daher davon ausging, dass er inklusive ist (weil es überall so ist und der Preis hoch ist). Also ist es NICHT in Ordnung, diesen in Rechnung zu stellen. Gewisse Fast Food Ketten kann man nicht vergleichen, da man es nicht einmal „Essen“ nennen kann, was dort verkauft wird. Ich bezahle gerne 20€ für ein Gericht, wenn es schmeckt, ich davon satt werde, mir Qualität geboten wird UND ich ehrlich über die Preise aufgeklärt werde. Lange Rede kurzer Sinn: Es geht um die Aktion mit dem Reis, über alles andere brauchen wir uns nicht streiten. Antwort auf Ihre Antwort: Ich denke mir keine Lügengeschichten aus, um unseriöse Absichten zu unterstellen. Ich berichte lediglich, wie es gewesen ist. Gerne hätte ich einen tollen Besuch bei Ihnen gehabt, sodass ich diese Rezension nicht hätte schreiben müssen. Die nette Dame, die die Bestellung aufnahm, sprach und verstand leider nicht so gut Deutsch. Sie hatte schon Schwierigkeiten damit, die Nummer zu verstehen. Reis oder eine Beilage hat sie uns nicht angeboten. Dass Sie dies abstreiten, ist nicht kundenorientiert und professionell. Und nein, McDonalds Essen ist kein Essen, da es nicht einmal nach Jahren verschimmelt. Antwort auf Ihre Antwort: NEIN, ich wurde NICHT nach einer Beilage gefragt!!! Zum 10. Mal. Hauptsache immer alles leugnen, richtig?

Das beste chinesische Restaurant in Hamburg, authentische Szechuan-Küche, sehr freundliche und kompetente Mitarbeiter und einfach das beste vom besten! Jetzt wo ich diese Rezension schreibe, läuft mir das Wasser im Mund zusammen - ich glaube ich muss ihnen gleich einen Besuch abstatten ;)

Our favorite place in town! Shudu is the perfect place to go with a big group and to eat in the traditional Chinese/Asian style by sharing dishes. That way, you get a little taste of everything! The me u is divided into two sections, “Westernized” and Szechuan options. Both are delicious. The waiter speaks many languages and always provides great service by explaining the dishes in detail. The traditional Szechuan spice, a mild red pepper, is not a hot flavor, but it leaves a tingle in your mouth and is pleasantly spicy. I recommend trying it at least once!

Sehr gutes Restaurant Parksituation ist da nicht so schön

Ich hatte eine Rindfleisch Nudelsuppe bestellt und Wang tan‘s mit einer scharfen Sauce. Alles war sehr lecker und authentisch chinesisch. Das Essen kam sehr schnell Service war nett. Mal eine Abwechslung keine kantonesische Küche. Man findet auf der Karte auch nicht scharfes Essen. Aber wer gerne scharf isst, kommt da auf seine Kosten.

Das Essen ist sehr klein und der Service ist sehr schlecht. Kreditkarten und Visa-Karten sind nicht erlaubt und sie sind gezwungen, Bargeld zu kassieren. The portions per plate were small, the prices were expensive, and the service was poor. Credit cards and Visa cards are not allowed and you must bring cash.

Für mich der Beste Chinese Hamburgs.

Die Bedienung ist sehr nett. Das Essen wird einem sehr gut präsentiert mit Vorspeise und Hauptgang. Die Auswahl zwischen den Chinesischen und Deutschen Gerichten ist auch riesig. Hat mich sehr gefreut hier essen zu gehen.

Authentic Sichuan cuisine. The last time I was here was 15 year ago, it was fantastic, and they had a special Chinese menu (not europeanized food). Tonight, I am back again, visiting Hamburg and I am still as impressed. Really delicious food! This is still the best Chinese restaurant in Germnay that I know… such a pity I live so far south of Germany.

DAS ist, was ich gewünscht habe❤️. 우육탕면 마지막 한입까지 맛있음. 국물은 약간 마라 국물 베이스? Sehr scharf로 해달라고 부탁드리면 주방에서 더맵게도 해주신댔음. 맵찔이는 기본으로 먹었는데 나름 혀가 얼얼하고 콧물이 났어요. 고기는 완전 야들야들 부드럽고 면발도 마지막까지 안퍼지고 맛있음. 면 식감이 뭔가 특이한데 직접 뽑으신건가..? 암튼 안끊어지면서도 뭔가 찰지게 늘어나는 느낌. 국물도 너무 맛있음... 청경채를 좀 더 넣어주셨으면 하는 아주 사소한 아쉬움이 있음. 식당 외부가 너무 허름해서 위생 걱정에 들어갈생각도 안했었는데 걱정이 무색하게 내부는 깨끗함! 우육탕면은 메뉴판속 빨간박스의 1번입니다...

Ein Geheimtipp. Der hintere Teil der Speisekarte ist sehr zu empfehlen. Authentische Sichuanküche, kein europäisiertes Essen. Sehr lecker. Das Lokal wirkt in einigen Details etwas improvisiert, unorganisiert, NICHT dreckig. Kein Drama, aber auffällig. Unterm Strich hat sich der Besuch gelohnt. Gerne wieder.

Schlechteste Erfahrung! Das Kind erhielt eine kräftige Züchtigung, als es einen Schluck des mitgebrachten Mineralwassers nahm, weil das Essen zu scharf war. Essensportion war auch sehr klein und das Essen war nicht frisch.

来德国吃的算是最正宗的川菜啦，有点辣但没那么辣，关键是味道还挺好的。虽然价格和国内没法比，德国物价真的是高，但想怀念祖国味道的时候，还是吃它吧~~

Next to Hamburg Train Station. The food is south western china cuisine. Wide selection. Really good food. The place is not busy on Fri lunch. The owner speaks good chinese.

Ein originales chinesisches Restaurant. Hier kann jeder chinesisch sprechen. Der Reis ist top, die Karte vielfältig und man kann in einer Gruppe wirklich gut zusammen hier essen. Einziger Kritikpunkt sind die Toiletten.

Wir waren schon öfter als Paar oder mit der Familie in diesem Restaurant essen. Man sollte hier unbedingt aus der chinesischen Karte bestellen; dann bekommt man nicht nur das an den deutschen Gaumen angepasste Essen, sondern echt authentische und sehr leckere (z.T. auch sehr scharfe) chinesische Speisen. Der Service ist immer sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und die Küche ist sehr fix. Eventuell könnte es etwas gemütlicher sein, aber darüber können wir auf Grund des restlichen Erlebnisse gut hinwegsehen. Trotz der direkten Nähe zum Hauptbahnhof ist es hier immer erstaunlich ruhig.

Ich hatte kürzlich das Vergnügen, dieses Restaurant in der Innenstadt zu besuchen, und ich war rundum begeistert. Das Essen war nicht nur außerordentlich lecker und authentisch, sondern auch der Kellner erwies sich als äußerst aufmerksam und nahm sich Zeit, um die Gerichte ausführlich zu erklären. Die Preise bewegen sich im mittleren Spektrum, doch sie sind absolut gerechtfertigt angesichts des guten Geschmacks und der Portionen. Eine zu empfehlende Wahl, wenn man in der Innenstadt ist und Sichuan-Küche genießen möchte. (Hierfür die Gerichte der zweiten Hälfte der Speisekarte auswählen).

Nice Sichuan flavours, good service and reasonable cost

Authentische Szechuan-Küche mit toller Auswahl. Es empfiehlt sich der Blick in den zweiten Teil der Karte abseits der "deutsch-chinesischen" Gerichte. Gung Bao chicken und Mapo Tofu ein Traum.

We were told we can pay with card so we decide to eat in here. The food was okay but I believe the price is a bit expensive. When we are about to pay the bill. They said they only accept Germany card instead of my Uk credit card. The bill was €60.90 and I asked if I could get €60 cos i didn’t want to get any spare change. The their attitude was pretty bad and even want to ask me pay €70 including tips. How could I pay any tips if their attitude is so bad?

Super authentisches Restaurant mit sehr lieben Mitarbeitern! Haben uns total wohl gefühlt und der, der uns bedient hat war total freundlich! Das Essen war auch sehr lecker und die Pork dumplings kann ich sehr empfehlen! Die Beef Noodle soup war auch sehr lecker, jedoch bei der scharfen soße aufpassen, weil das Aroma stark ist.

Overall, it was a good experience. Price to quantity can be improved.

Zügige Plätze bekommen und die Speisekarten erhalten, Bedienungen äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend, essen kam zügig und hat unsere Erwartungen nach chinesischem flavour getroffen. Sogar unser kleines Kind hat viel gegessen und der ist penibel 🤣. Vom Preis müsste ich eigendlich einen Stern weniger geben, aber da ja alles teuer wird belasse ich das so außerdem sind wir alle satt geworden. Fazit: wir kommen wieder und wieder.

Good Chinese cuisine and caring staff.

Leider nicht empfehlenswert. Fleisch zulange oder zuviel mit Speisestärke mariniert. Fleisch ist kein Fleisch sondern eher Brei. Soßen gibt es hier kaum. Rindfleisch mit Zwiebel und Rindfleisch Chop-Suey ist genau das gleiche, bis auf das Gemüse. Es ist buchstäblich Rindfleisch + Gemüse. Sonst nichts, keine Sauce, nur das ÖL in dem es gebraten/frittiert wurde. Keinerlei Geschmacksunterschied. Kein Wunder dass das Essen in 8 Minuten fertig war. Kriegt man Zuhause besser hin. Vorallem bei den völlig überzogenen Preisen.

Original Szechuan Küche in einem einfachen, sauberen Ambiente. Im hinteren Teil der Speisekarte sind die Original Gerichte zu finden, vorne die Europäiisierten. Die Schweinebauchgerichte sind sind wie vieles anderes sehr zu empfehlen. Wer gern starke Aromen und Schärfe mag, ist hier gold richtig. Sehr netter, aufmerksamer Service.

Variety of Chinese Cuisine, Taste is just good for Asians. The waiter is not well behaved, even though he can speak English and German well. But I don't understand why he is asking us for drinks while waiting for the ordered menus. We felt like we were from another planet and treated uncordialy even though we are from Asia. The location and atmosphere is very good.

Hat mir nicht so gefallen ... Essen fand ich wenig schmackhaft ... eher lauwarm ... der Service ... zurückhaltend ....

Incredible vibe, incredible food, incredible service. This is a gem in Hamburg, and I am blown away by how good it was. I sampled multiple dishes across their authentic menu, and everything was amazing.

I was absolutely blown away by how delicious the food is here. I can say, without hyperbole, that this was the best meal I've had in a long time. The depth of flavor was just superb. We ordered from the second half of the menu (the authentic Chinese dishes) and absolutely everything was fantastic. I could eat that mapo tofu every day and never get sick of it. We also had the vegetable baozi, dry-fried string beans, twice-cooked pork, cold pork belly and cucumber, and rose schnapps. I would recommend all of these unreservedly. The service was warm and attentive, and the restaurant clean and inviting. I can't wait to go back, and will definitely be bringing friends and family when they come to visit Hamburg.

Goed Aziatisch eten, gevarieerde kaart, veel Chinese gasten wat een goede indicatie is dat het eten authentiek is. Grote porties. Het eten was smakelijk en goed Opvallend: als westerling kreeg je geen eetstokjes, maar standaard lepel en vork, dat vond ik wel jammer. Ook jammer vond ik dat mijn partner wel zijn eten kreeg en mijn eten nog een minuut of 10 op zich liet wachten.

Das Essen ist gut, keine Frage. Die Einrichtung ist sehr altbacken, da kommt nicht viel Freude auf. Und dann der Service. Laut, aufgesetzte Freundlichkeit, nicht schön.

ハンブルク中央駅前にあるこの店は平日15時半までランチやっていて格安で食べれる。 駅前だからどうせ大したことないと思って いたが非常に美味かった。 列車での長旅で疲れて腹減っているときは駅至近のこの店をおすすめします。　食べたのは９ユーロ５０セントの四川風豚肉野菜炒め。スープとライスが付いて来ました。 ハンブルク中央駅まで来たらリピート間違いないです。

This is a very authentic Chinese restaurant offering some very good Sichuan dishes. We often travel to Chinese restaurants in foreign cities and many establishments have changed the food to cater for local tastes. This is not the case here and the family run restaurant has kept its original flavours for over 20 years. Very friendly staff and outstanding food. Ask the staff for the recommendations and seasonal dishes. If you want to taste “ real” Chinese food, go here.

We dined twice here, very good service and staff, food was excellent, very good choice of food. Food was served as starters and mains which was excellent, it is not always the case in European Chinese restaurants. Very good value for money.

Nice chinese restaurant that serves very authentic szechuan dishes. I ordered dandan noodle. 350 euros. I was told the serving is small as it is in the appetizer section yet i find the serving size great for me as I can continue to share other dishes. I also ordered steamed pork belly with preserved mustard greens, Delicious. Also in small serving but it is perfect for me. I will love to visit this restaurant when I am in Hamburg again.

A good combination for the magic: simple food, simple restaurant, reasonable prices and good location. Food is well prepared, tasty and simple. The restaurant has no luxuries but it is centered on the food more than the looks. It is a good sign that some Chinese visitors were enjoying dinner at the same time. The restaurant is right across the Street from Central Station and open until late.

Called in from pouring rain in Hamburg city and had lunch. The restaurant was almost empty other than one other couple at 13.00 so thought we had made a terrible mistake. However decided to stay and had an excellent lunch of soup, beef and onions and pork chop suey. We have to say that we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and ate most of the large portions. We recognise that MSG had been used in the sauces but cannot say it affected our enjoyment. We were well looked after by the Chinese ladies working in there and although doubted it would be our choice for an evening out for lunchtime it proved to be very good.

I love this Chinese restaurant. The food is very tasty, prepared with care and affection and the ambience is good. Being in the middle of the market - just opposite to the northern gate of Central Station, it is very easily accessible too. Finding a parking space may be tricky. I loved this place and this is the most frequented place for Chinese dishes for my family.

I visited this "restaurant" with friends today. As it was cold outside we decided to go in, have some tea, water and something small to eat. An old lady, I assume the owneress, came to attend us. We told her we were going to order some drinks and 2 meals to share (we were 4), she frowned but took our order. After waiting for almost half an our for two dishes of fried rice, she brought us the plates that we immediately started to split in halves...which made this Lady crazy, she started to scream to us in a mix of German and Chinese, repeating "four people can not share two meals!" and pointed with her index finger to my face while staring at me like a wounded beast, humiliating us in front of the the people present at this place. I wonder why she took our order in the first place, I assume she was planning on a public execution. Obviously we refused to stay and disposed to depart. I left enough money for our drinks over the table and started to leave, when the full staff-family approached. An elder man, who was just interested in getting his rice paid, a younger girl who tried to solve a "misunderstanding", as her mother-mistress never meant what she meant and so long... After few minutes of fruitless negotiation and watching us retire, the keeper claimed "We are in Germany", then the "call the police- no, you call the police" began. Long story short. The food remained on the table, ready to be taken back to the kitchen, reheated and served again to the next victims, two of my friends and I vanished while the fourth of us remained trying to fix the situation, probably getting Unscrupulously bilked. Ah, Not to mention the disgusting rancid smell coming from it's restaurant basement, unforgettable as this clan costumers attention.

I choose this restaurant for take away. I had high expectation seeing so many Chinese people eating in the restaurant. Ordered a simple fried noodle with beef. Was surprised when I saw the owner wrapped the box in newspaper, then when I got back in the hotel I found out why. It dripped with oil. The whole newspaper was wet with oil! One bite and I know they put so much vetsin and all the nasty MSG in that noodle. I had bad headache and shoulder pain. I threw the noodle in the bin. That was too much. There should be a limit on how man define delicious by putting so much msg in their food.

So as you read other reviews, you'll know already that they have 2 separate menus. One European and one authentic Chinese. Try the second one if you like the spicy Chinese and the food was amazing. For Indians taste buds, try the beef or chicken fried rice. And if you want the spicy treat, try the wok. The problem is the staff. The first time we were there, we were served by a lady named - Chow. She was fabulous. And also communicated decent English. The second time however we really struggled to communicate as they just couldn't speak English. The intent was there to help and while some instances of impatience, the old lady looked very helpful and smiling. All the food we tried was tasty and I recommend everyone to eat here if you can be forgiving on the customer service.

You'll struggle for worse service anywhere. Staff really not paying attention. We were about the third table to be sat in the restaurant. Over the next 20 minutes lots of other tables arrived and still we were the last to be served. The food took an age, we kept chasing and even had to chase for the rice. There was absolutely no reason for the delays and the staff were painfully disinterested when we complained. They'd agree to get something and start messing about with washing dishes for 5 minutes before getting to the point in hand. We had to ask them to remove the service charge from the receipt when it finally arrived after another crazy wait. It was pretty hard to believe that they were being serious. As for the food? Not great to be honest. Just find somewhere else. There's far better food joints in the station.

Chefs are from Sichuan, where it is famous for extremely spicy food. Besides the standard menu tailored for Europeans like everywhere in Europe, they also provide non-compromising authentic menu from Sichuan, which is very hard to find in Europe. Quality may decline during rush lunch hours, so it's better to go there in off-peak time. Also try to avoid those made from frozen products, such as crabs, crayfish, etc.

We ordered too much and would like to take the rest food home. They put not only our food but also the food from other table together. They claim that is the same dish but that was something left from their dish!!!!!

I am together with my friend (we are both girls （Chinese）) there and ordered three dishes. One is a fish (just a single layer of fish on top and that's it!!!!), another is a crab (so little and not fresh at all, some part are...

If you want to eat real good authentic Chinese food, check out the restaurant where Chinese people eat 😉 Nice service, super food! Nice prices. Check out the 'Chinese menu', you won't regret it. Promise. Ps: I come here every than and now.

We went there on a weekend to Hamburg. The food is cooked in an open kitchen, it is excellent and fresh. For what appears to be a fast food restaurant, the food takes a long time to come. Make sure you go when there are...
