Mehas Food in Berlin

We actually wanted to eat somewhere else and luckily ended up here because the hotel is next door. The kebab was sensational and the best I've ever eaten. The meat was super well seasoned and everything was nicely roasted, which makes a big difference. But what was really great, and I don't understand why everyone doesn't do it like this, was the bread was so incredibly deliciously grilled. It had such amazing flavors, like toast from a toaster. Amazing. I'll definitely get another one before I leave.

Good food, good service, good price!

All good but a cash only venue which isn't made clear and they point you to an ATM that charges 5 euro for a transaction.

Russian (just assuming) looking guy tried to scam us. We ordered curry wurst and Schnitzel with fries. Didn't gave us the curry wurst, after me staring at him for 10 minutes he asked what do I want and just started doing the wurst, gave me the fries gratis without saying anything. Also he scammed my friend for 2 euro as he ordered Schnitzel and 2 beers [ 19 altogether ] and charged 21. Friend was tired and didn't notice the wrong price. The guy is smoking cigarettes inside the kitchen.

Gemùse Kebab and Pizza A stone's throw from Checkpoint Charlie, nestled in a small internal square with sand on the ground (like an artificial beach) where there are other street food outlets and an outdoor cinema, it serves very good and generous kebabs, although the price is a bit higher than average, more for the drinks than the food. The preparation area is completely open, with both indoor and outdoor tables. Restrooms are shared with other businesses, poorly signposted but available. The kebab is good and tasty, but a bit pricey.

I never expected to find such a good kebab in such a commercial and tourist area. Really good! One of the best tried here in Berlin. And the location is simply perfect for relaxing! Advised
