Very friendly service, excellent selection, food, and portions. I'd definitely go back.

I don't understand what's supposed to be "Singaporean cuisine" about it. It's basically the same run-of-the-mill dishes as anywhere else. Whether "Indian" or "Chinese," duck/chicken/scampi/shrimp in sauce, whatever. It's not bad per se, but it's not "Singaporean cuisine" either. As a European, you just keep getting talked into the same thing. Singapore's national dish? "Chili crab"! Tastes wonderful. I'm looking for it on the menu in vain. I can fool myself.

A ray of hope in Konstanz's gastronomy

•Service was nice •Portion size was good •Price: Konstanz prices •We found the taste rather unspectacular. All in all, we thought it was okay, but nothing we'd want to go back for.

The service was really friendly and attentive. The dim sum was okay—nothing special, but not bad either. The butter chicken, however, was disappointing. For €17, I only got six small pieces of meat, along with a generous amount of sauce. The ratio just wasn't right, and in my opinion, the price wasn't justified. It's a shame, because the taste was actually good, but the price-performance ratio just isn't right. Therefore, I probably won't come back, even though the staff was very friendly.

The environment and service are OK, but the food is really terrible. I don't know why the chicken Thai is made sweet.

One dish wasn't tasty at all, and 80% of the food was Indian. The name was therefore misleading. There was only one Singaporean dish. Not again.

The food was delicious, especially the green chicken (in mint), the most tender meat ever. The vegetarian option was also perfectly fine. We always eat here when we're in Konstanz. It's just outside the city center, but a 1 km walk across the bridge is doable. (We cycled there). The mixed starter for two is extensive and delicious (as shown in the photos). The starter price is €17.95 for two. The soups are also delicious (around €6) as an appetizer. Plenty of choices! Go! ❤️❤️❤️

I have to admit that Meera is by far the best restaurant I know in Konstanz. The food is always fresh, varied, and incredibly delicious. The cocktails are also freshly mixed and not made from concentrates, as is common in many other restaurants. The service is always attentive and very friendly and courteous. You can tell that they make a lot of effort to make everything as good as possible, including the presentation of the food. Overall, I am very satisfied and would like to express my sincere thanks to the entire staff.

Acabamos de almorzar aquí hoy y quedamos absolutamente impresionados con todo. Conseguí una mesa junto a una ventana con una bonita vista. El restaurante es hermoso y el personal es gente amable que brinda un buen servicio. Teníamos la oferta del mediodía que tiene una excelente relación calidad-precio. El plato principal de cordero tenía mucha carne y las verduras estaban muy frescas y cocinadas a la perfección. Volveremos mañana para probar otros platos de su impresionante carta.

Einfach lecker, vielfältig, in unterschiedlichen Schärfegraden ganz nach Geschmack bestellbar, mit ordentlich Gemüse dabei. Einzig das Naan habe ich schon besser gegessen, allerdings sehr weit weg😄

I have rarely come out of a restaurant as excited as I was after my visit to Meera in Konstanz. Anyone who thinks they know Asian cuisine will be surprised in the best possible way here. I've already been to several Asian countries and was able to try the authentic cuisine there - and yet Meera left me speechless. Here we don't just cook something, we work with passion, depth and creativity. Even the starters make a real statement. The spring rolls? No trace of frozen goods! Freshly prepared, wonderfully crispy, with a delicately seasoned filling. Plus the homemade sauces, especially the peanut sauce for the chicken satay - a poem! Creamy, spicy, slightly sweet – simply perfectly balanced. The satay itself was tender, juicy and grilled to perfection. Every dish we tried had its own unique character. You expect a certain aroma - and then the taste develops in a completely new, surprising direction. Nothing is predictable, and that's exactly what makes it so special. The spices are original and authentic, the likes of which you can only experience directly on site. The drinks menu is also exceptional. Homemade iced tea, creative cocktails and other specialties that you can't get on every corner. In fact, there is hardly a point on the map that is “standard”. Everything has a personal touch and you can feel that there is a lot of attention to detail here. Meera is not your average Asian restaurant. It is a culinary journey, a taste explosion and a real insider tip in Konstanz. Friendly service, fast food without compromising quality and an ambience that invites you to linger. Conclusion: If you like to eat, you will love Meera. I’ll definitely be back – and I’ll bring more friends next time!

The food itself is great. However, this time we ordered with Lieferando. We usually order for pickup in my mother's name. They're really nice there. Yesterday the food arrived mushy and leaked. As a result, the bag tore and several pieces of food were scattered on the floor. The delivery service left without a word and the restaurant didn't want to take responsibility. There wasn't even an apology or anything like that. We have now contacted Lieferando to clarify this. After all, we ordered for 120 euros. At least a “I’m sorry” would have been appropriate. If it had been packaged differently it might not have happened.

It is now our family restaurant where we feel very comfortable and have been going there for several years. So far I haven't had any food that didn't taste good. Great service in both Meera restaurants in Konstanz. Menus are identical. The Meera in the city center in the cathedral is the only restaurant that is on the 1st floor and if you can sit in the small balcony niches in summer you have a view of the Konschtanz old town.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Vorspeisen waren sehr gut. Die Hauptspeisen (Tandoori Chicken und Bangkog Ente) waren absolut hervorragend. Ich habe noch nie in Europa derart gut indisch gegessen. Dieses Restaurant kann uneingeschränkt empfohlen werden.

We ordered via Lieferando. It took about 1 hour for our food to arrive but it was very fresh and hot. The food tastes great and the portions are massive. I had a vegetarian dish with tofu and it was super tasty with enough tofu in it. Butter Chicken was also said to be great. We also got a crispy topping with the meal. We are very satisfied and will definitely eat/order there again.

Wegen der guten Bewertungen hatten wir uns auf das Essen 🥘 m Meera gefreut- und wurden bitter enttäuscht. Das Butter Chicken war fad, das Lamm Korma absolut geschmacksneutral und das Naanbrot so wenig indisch wie eine Pizza in New York italienisch. Die Bedienung war freundlich und effizient, aber trotzdem werden wir nicht wieder hingehen.

We were the only new guests around 9 p.m. At this time in Konstanz you are usually pushed out the door, but here that wasn't a problem. I am living here in germany since last 2 years. I have tried many Indian restaurants but I found this randomly but Loved it, I would love to visit again. Little bit costlier than some others but according to food and presentation whatever I have paid was worth. strong recommendation from My side.

Very tasty and fresh food, very friendly staff, fair prices. The only negative point today was that the tandoor wasn't ready to use and the naan came out of the pan. But it was only 11:30 and we were informed about it in advance, so it was completely fine.

We visited the restaurant on December 31, 2024. First, the good news: the service was extremely friendly and efficient. My Padang Duck was very good. However, we weren't satisfied with the rest. The appetizers, "samosas," etc., were absolutely bland, with no exquisite spices as advertised. Overall, the food was rather tasteless. The butter chicken was so dry and served in a bland sauce. Unfortunately, he had stomach problems for a few days. My husband's kebab was also beyond his expectations. Unfortunately, given the current state of the kitchen, we cannot recommend this restaurant.

We had lunch. Very tasty Pad Thai noodles and Malaysian curry with chicken. The atmosphere was very nice and the service was top. We can highly recommend it and would be happy to come back.

Had food delivered to us. The “Very Hot” Chilli Paneer was mild at best. Every pepper is hotter. Otherwise the sauces are more like soup in consistency. Otherwise everything tasted pretty good :)

This restaurant and Sitara are among my favorite places in Konstanz when I feel like enjoying Indian food. We had vegi and the meat Tali and the Asian salad with fresh cheese! Yummy. The food is not as extremely good as in India itself, but by European standards the food is extremely fine. One of my favorite resto so far.

Empfangen wurden wir von Chinesen, irgendwie fühlt sich das komisch an beim Inder. Die Speisekarte offenbarte, dass nicht nur indische, sondern auch asiatische Gerichte angeboten werden. Grundsätzlich nicht falsch, denn man kann ja selbst wählen, aber nicht korrekt, wenn man Thali bestellt und dann Teil davon Thai ist. Insgesamt, muss man aber sagen, alles war gute Qualität. Lokal ist ziemlich hell und laut, Tische beim Fenster nett, aber Sitze hart. Blumenkohl Pakora ziemlich geschmacklos, Frühlingsrollen (vegan) wirklich lecker, aber ok…. hat nichts mit Indien zutun.

For lunch on the way to Konstanz Place I visited with my family Service was friendly and good, and the bathroom was clean. Generally well suited to Korean tastes. (People who don't like coconut or mango scents that are commonly found in food may not like it!)

Yesterday we spontaneously decided on the Meera. A really good choice. Super friendly staff, great food, really a highlight in terms of taste and appearance. Good price/performance ratio. Recommended.

Yesterday evening I had dinner with my husband at Meera in Konstanz. We both love Asian cuisine. We have never been to a Singapore restaurant. .That's why we tried it and were both totally thrilled.. The food was a dream.. since I'm vegetarian I used the noodles from Mongolia with vegetables.. that was a real culinary delight.. and my husband took chicken with it he just melted away... that's how good it was... the staff there is also very friendly... and the price-performance ratio is also right... you get a lot on your plate for relatively cheap prices... the restaurant itself is also very good beautifully modern and comfortably furnished.. you have a real feel-good effect there.. Meera would be happy to see us again.. even though we are from Freiburg we won't let that stop us from coming back.. there is nothing like that good in Freiburg..

We tried this restaurant because of the many good reviews and what can we say... Simply delicious!!! A recommendation if you like Indian and Thai cuisine.

Hatten Samosas, Dalsuppe, Thai-Hähnchen und Panaeng-Ente über Tasty bestellt. Die Samosas waren super, die Dalsuppe geschmacklich in Ordnung, für mich persönlich hätte sie stückiger sein dürfen. Die thailändischen Geflügelgerichte fielen geschmacklich stark ab,m. Als Liebhaber thailändischer Küche müssen wir leider sagen, das diese Gerichte eher an indisches Basic-Curry erinnerten. Und TK-Erbsen sowie Kardamom hat m.M. nach in Thai-Curries nichts verloren…das Entenfleisch war allerdings sehr knusprig und geschmacklich wirklich gut. Warum das Meera allerdings als Top-Restaurant bei Trip-Advisor gehandelt wird, können wir beim besten Willen nicht verstehen.

Weil ein benachbartes Restaurant voll war sind wir kurzer Hand in das Meera hochgegangen. Es ist im 1. OG eine Hauses auch das Meera war recht voll, dennoch kannten wir noch ein Tisch bekommen. Anzumerken ist, dass es auch nicht besonders klein ist, dennoch sehr gut besucht. Was uns besonders gut gefallen hat war die aufmerksame und auf uns als Gast fokusierte Bedienung. Man spürte das es Ihr Freude macht hier zu sein und die Gäste zu bedienen. Wie in vielen andere und besonders in indischen Restaurants ist die Speisekarte sehr umfangreich, das Meera war da keine Ausnahme. Dennoch haben wir es geschafft das Essen auszuwählen und zu bestellen. Als gemeinsame Vorspeise hatten wir Melone mit Mozzarela, was jetzt nicht besonders indisch ist, dennoch uns sehr gut geschmeckt hat. Als Hauptgang dann bei mir Paneer in Chile und viel Gemüse. Fand ich grossartig, ausser das mir das Chili fehlte. Also zusammenfassend war es für uns ein gelungener Abend in einem zu empfehlenden Restaurant.

Very friendly and attentive staff!

I went there with a friend because he wanted to eat Asian food. But even I, not a fan of Asian food, found what I was looking for. He was reminded of his vacation in Thailand. Accordingly, the cuisine was authentic. The portions were large and very tasty and at a decent price/performance ratio. The staff was also friendly and helpful. We will definitely come again.

Je kunt er fantastisch eten. Er is een ruime, betaalbare keuze aan indiaas eten. Het personeel was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. We zaten in het raamportaal en hadden zo uitzicht op het plein beneden ons en de ondergaande zon die tegen de huizen scheen.

Indisch - asiatische Küche, lecker, aber nicht außergewöhnlich. Die Atmosphäre ist wuselig, ein bisschen wie in einem amerikanischen Diner. Der Service ist aufmerksam.

Alle Gerichte waren sehr lecker. Wir waren mit Halbindern hier beim Essen, die die Gerichte als authentisch empfanden, auch der Reis war so, wie man ihn in guten indischen Restaurants erhält.

An inconspicuous, idyllic restaurant at the Königsbau that actually deserves much more attention. I've been going to Meera sporadically since I've lived nearby and have only had positive things to say about every experience. The food is prepared in the traditional style of Asian cuisine and adapted to the local market using locally sourced ingredients. For others it might be a disadvantage, but personally I see it as a plus. The products can be sourced locally and German guests usually cannot tolerate the spiciness that they are used to in Asia. The kitchen is well organized and every guest at the table receives their meals at the same time. In addition, there is not a 200-point menu like in many other Asian restaurants: for each protein and vegetarian dish there is a selection of 4 to 5 main courses, but they also sit well. I haven't tried vegetarian yet. You rarely find the same quality for the price. My insider tip: noodles Cambodia! The service is absolutely outstanding. You will always be treated in a friendly and courteous manner by a diverse team. When I come to Meera, as a customer I really feel like a king. Respect and praise to the entire team for doing such a great job. You can tell that we are passionate about gastronomy here and that a good experience is really the priority. The atmosphere is gentle with a natural, South Asian-inspired decor. There is also calm music in the background, which you can immediately associate with sounds from India to Singapore. This allows you to enjoy the company of friends and have pleasant conversations. All in all, an absolute insider tip. This restaurant deserves many more guests!

Wir waren zu zweit dort und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen! Es ist etwas versteckt über dem „Dom“. Der Service war sehr freundlich und das Essen hervorragend. Ich kenne die indische Küche ganz gut und es war für europäische Verhältnisse sehr authentisch. Die asiatische Seite der Speisekarte werden wir das nächste mal ausprobieren.

We ate here during our vacation in Konstanz. Since we enjoyed it very much and the menu is very varied, we were here on 3 evenings. All dishes were excellent. We'd love to come back!

Ordered to pick up, never been there before and have only heard good things. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. They said the food would be ready for pickup in 40 minutes, but we ended up sitting in the restaurant for another 30 minutes. Compensation like a drink on the house? None. Well, when I got home the butter chicken was more like a tomato cream sauce without Indian spices. The soup only tasted of oil and had no lemongrass or spices at all. All in all, it was the worst butter chicken I've ever had and also the worst tom kha gai soup. I didn't eat either, so the money was in the bin. In addition, the naan was ridiculous in terms of portion size and was also burnt and dry. It's a shame about the money and time. Never again.

I like Meera, both at the cathedral and in the other location and have eaten at both dozens of times. But the amount of meat in the lunch menu to take away is probably a bad joke for €14.90 That's half a portion. So unfortunately I can advise against this.

Das Essen war super lecker, das kann man wirklich nur empfehlen. Ich habe nur einen Stern Abzug. Ich fande die Tische sehr dicht aneinander gestellt, das man mit seinem Stuhl Probleme hatte mit den Nachbarn. Aber dies ist auch die einzige Kritik.

Das Essen ist super. Das einzige war: Das Essen kommt sehr schnell. Vorspeise sofort, Hauptspeise gleich danach. Zum Abendessen mögen wir es eigentlich gemütlicher und nicht dass wir das in weniger als einer Stunde durch haben...

Ich und meine Mutter waren im Meera in der Innenstadt. Angefangen hat es, als wir ankamen. Erst wusste niemand, dass wir reserviert haben, obwohl wir 5 Tage vorher dies getan haben. Nachdem eine Bedienung die Mails durchgeschaut hat, wurden wir einem Tisch zugewiesen. Bestellt haben wir Gin Tonic, Bodensee Secco, Cola, Satay, Penang Ente und Tandoori Chicken. Die Bedienung hatte keine Ahnung von Gastronomie. Es wurde die Cola und der Secco zuerst gebracht, der Gin Tonic kam später. Dazu kommt, dass meine Mutter nicht gefragt wurde, was sie nach dem Aperitif trinken wolle. Sie musste es nachträglich bestellen. Das Satay kam dann recht schnell, war jedoch recht trocken und die Sauce schmeckte nicht nach Erdnusssauce, wie es ausgeschrieben war. Ich persönlich habe die Schärfe vermisst. Weiter ging es mit dem Tandoori Chicken für meine Mutter. Die Sauce war viel zu scharf für sie. Das hat gebrannt (ich habe davon auch probiert). Ohne die Sauce war es ein bisschen trocken, aber essbar. Bei mir wurde das falsche Gericht gebracht. Ich habe statt der Penang Ente ein Ente Mango bekommen. Da ich Hunger hatte, habe ich aber dies trotzdem gegessen. Das hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Das Restaurant war nicht voll, aber sehr laut. Man hat die Gespräche der anderen mitbekommen. Das Ambiente sah sehr schön aus. Als Manko kommt dazu, dass das Restaurant im 1. Stock liegt und nur teilweise Geländer an den Treppen ist. Absolut nicht für Behinderte oder im Sehen eingeschränkte Personen geeignet. Alles in allem waren wir sehr unzufrieden. Wir werden dort nicht mehr hingehen. Es wirkte alles sehr chaotisch.
