Unfortunately, we only received part of the menu, so our food choices were limited. Afterwards, we saw at other tables that other dishes, such as pizza, were also available. This was very annoying. The food is expensive.

We go there quite often and it's always delicious. We even got a table at lunchtime spontaneously, without a reservation.

A wonderful dining experience in a pleasant atmosphere. Exceptionally delicious food is served by friendly staff. The Italian employees further enhance the Mediterranean ambiance. The wines are absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced for a restaurant in this location. The prices are also very moderate. I will definitely come back. Reservations are recommended.

The service is EXTREMELY slow. I’ve never experienced anything like this in my life. Litreally it was the first time in my life. It took 20 minutes for the waiter to come, and then a total of 65 minutes for the first dish to come. I mean WHAT THE .... And the food was only average. Steak was very tasteless and dry. So honestly, it’s not worth waiting this long for this kind of food. And dear restaurant, please just a little speed up. Many people in comments say the same thing. This resistance to change is unbelievable.

We were able to rent Cucina Mediterraneo at the Frankfurt Trade Fair for four days as part of SIBOS Week – and we were absolutely thrilled! The entire team was exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always attentive. The food was simply outstanding – fresh, authentic, and prepared with great attention to detail. Extremely unfriendly service! We wanted something to eat in the evening. Even though people were still serving food and studying menus, we were rudely told that the place was closed. It's completely incomprehensible how such a restaurant can survive.

I had a pizza with ham and mushrooms – it tasted really good, but a bit smaller than usual. A slightly larger portion would have been appreciated, especially given the price. The ambiance is really nice, with a great city flair that creates a pleasant atmosphere. The service was friendly and attentive; you immediately feel like you're in good hands. The price is a bit higher, but understandable given the central location and presumably high costs. Nevertheless, a small increase in portion size would be a good addition.

A good place to have a quiet beer. The local beer is good and the food is great. The servers are friendly and witty and the prices are reasonable.

Exorbitant prices for little mediocre food that does not correspond to the description (for example the pasta with burrata is served with a simple supermarket mozzarella). Moreover they even charge 3.5€ per person for cover charge which in Germany does not even exist. Congratulations

Una gran delusione. Abbiamo organizzato una cena di lavoro tra colleghi dopo una fiera. Abbiamo dovuto scegliere per forza tra due piatti, senza possibilità di scelta. Eravamo in oltre 20 e ci siamo adattati ma purtroppo il cibo è stato scarso e per niente buono. Per un ristorante italiano che offre ci cibo a connazionali, è impensabile servire cibo scarso e di bassa qualità, a.prezzi decisamente alti. Vino della casa a 43 euro a bottiglia, un furto... il conto davvero salato, 75 euro a testa per un piccolo antipasto ed un primo... impensabile...

The food was relatively good, but when we said when we were paying that we would like to pay separately, the boss made very, very stupid comments to us. Didn't suit him at all...became very grumpy and unfriendly. It was probably too complicated for him. We were shocked at how harshly we were then dismissed. One of the worst restaurants known to man! The restaurant was chosen due to the majority of good Google reviews and the good location next to the Frankfurt Trade Fair. Kellern was very friendly, but a small Italian, must be the boss of the house, makes you feel that you are not welcome and are more of a nuisance than a relief to his restaurant. Mind you, we wanted to have a cozy evening among business people, but we ended it somewhere else after dinner and a glass of wine. Prices are also completely overpriced!

Dishes from the menu are unavailable… e.g., ossobuco… I ordered a simple carbonara instead. According to the menu, it was originally made with egg instead of cream. It was also correct, but amateurishly prepared. The egg was curdled. The bacon wasn't original guanciale, but cheap breakfast bacon… The waiter, however, insisted that the preparation was perfect and that the dish was original… no words… not recommended for guests who are familiar with original Italian dishes.

Gerichte von der Speisekarte sind nicht verfügbar… z.b. Ossobuco… alternativ habe ich eine simple Cabonara bestellt. Lt. Karte original mit Ei statt Sahne. Das war auch soweit richtig aber dilettantisch zubereitet. Das Ei war gestockt. Speck war auch nicht original Guanciale sondern billiger Frühstücksspeck… Der Ober hat aber dennoch insistiert das die Zubereitung perfekt wäre und das Gericht original sei… ohne Worte … nicht zum empfehlen für Gäste die die originalen italienischen Gerichte kennen

Reservamos una mesa para 2 : 30 PM, esperando pizzas como se anuncia en su sitio web — ¡pero no las sirven! Los precios eran mucho más altos que los listados en línea. A pesar del engaño, nos quedamos. La comida era muy cara y mediocre. Después de terminar, limpiaron nuestros platos sin ofrecer postre. Cuando preguntamos, el camarero dijo a regañadientes que la cocina estaba cerrada. Después de insistir, finalmente obtuvimos el postre, ya que apagaron las luces cuando todavía estábamos comiendo! Best Italian in Frankfurt! The staff can speak almost every language. The atmosphere is a highlight every year. One of the guests or the waiters pick up the guitar and sing or dance with the guests on the counter. The guests join in the good mood, it's an absolute experience every time! This restaurant was recommended by our hotel last week. We were ignored at the door for a while before eventually getting a table. To be honest food is only ok & its very small portions & extremely expensive. A very small glass of wine will cost you €11.90. They brought bread & water without request & we were charged €3.90 for bread & €8.90 for water. €7 coperta charged- we were not in Italy!!! plus an additional expenses charge of €7???? Tables are tiny & on top of each other.

This could be the best italian restaurant in Frankfurt if it wasn´t such a disaster during the exhibitions. Basically they offer a really nice pasta with truffle but the problem is how to organise the meetings and reservations when they do not respect anything and take whoever is in the line.

I recommend this restaurant. Excellent food and extremely friendly staff, very correct price and impeccable place. The owner is a true gentleman.

Der Kellner an meinem Tisch sprach nur Italienisch was für mich jedoch kein Problem ist, für Frankfurt aber eher unüblich... Da ich nur etwas leichtes essen wollte hatte ich zuerst Meeresfüchtesalat, ein San Pelegrino, und einen Weisswein und später eine weitere Vorspeise bestellt. Das Mineralwasser war eiskalt, dafür der Weisswein warm. Nachdem ich den Kellner auf mich aufmerksam machen konnte ( es gab einen Nachbartisch mit Stammgästen die im Fokus standen ) hat er die Reklamation recht wiederwillig zur Kenntnis genommen und nach kurzem Gespräch aber den Wein umgetauscht. Der Meeresfrüchtesalat war in der servierten Qualität total überteuert, was ich aufgrund meiner regelmässigen Reisen in den letzten 30 Jahren nach Italien wohl gut beurteilen kann. Das weitere Essen war leider versalzen... Der Service entspricht leider in keiner Weise dem Bild welches das Restaurant abgeben möchte. Und eben NICHT typisch Italiener, wie in einer anderen Bewertung angegeben ! Durch viele Touristen und Messebesucher werden die negativen Bewertungen wohl kaum etwas bewirken...Schade !

Nice atmosphere and friendly staff who can provide excellent professional advice

The restaurant is right next to the trade fair. We were there for a concert, hadn't reserved a table and still got a seat. The staff was very nice and attentive. The only thing was the service at the beginning was very slow. But that made up for the rest of the evening with friendliness and very, very good food. The food came very quickly after ordering and was freshly prepared. The menu is clear and the dishes are in the upper price segment, but the value for money was right. And is definitely a recommendation.

I was in town spontaneously and went without a reservation. The service was very good because friendly and attentive. The starter, the carpaccio, was very good. The main course, a small portion of truffle pasta, was tasty... but unfortunately almost cold. If you're paying €23 for such a small portion, then the plate should also be preheated. It's a shame, but these things are simply crucial. The dessert, a panna cotta, was very tasty, although not exceptional. The ambience is generally ok. But the more crowded it became, the louder it became. Due to the proximity to the trade fair, there are of course also large groups (exhibitors) who come here for dinner. So you don't have to plan a romantic date here. All in all, the visit to this restaurant was okay. The food tastes very good and is therefore worth a visit. 👍🏼

Nous sommes allés un soir et notre expérience fut très très bonne. L’accueil, la nourriture et le service ont été à la hauteur de nos attentes. Le surlendemain nous y sommes retournés, on a été encore très bien reçus , Massimo et ses collègues ont été fantastiques encore une fois. Merci aux gens de la cuisine, vous avez fait du très bon travail les deux soirs. On y retourne c’est certain.

Da ich Vegetarier bin, habe ich für ein Salat der ursprünglich 12,50 € mit Thunfisch und Shirms belegt sein sollte, gebeten die 2 Belege auszutauschen mit Avocado und Mozzarella. Auf der Rechnung durfte ich für Bemühungen 20,50 € feststellen. Auf Anfrage wieso ich nicht über den Preis informiert wurde, keine Einsicht. Auch der Chef nicht. Schade

The waiters were unfriendly and there was a hair in my food. It was blonde hair and I have black hair. And my friends said the long journey was worth it, which wasn't worth it since I'm from Munich and it was a cheek to ask for a lot of money for such a small portion. And when I paid, they didn't give me the remaining money back but instead threw it in my face. Despite this behavior I remained calm but disrespectful. Never again!!!

We ate Spaghetti Carbonara and aperitifs , first dish was not good at all, aperitifs was so weak even without cheese has nothing 1 slide melone and 1 slide prosciutto 17.90€ Secondly carbonara they used some ready fat schinken not cheek meet of pork, I couldn’t finish the food. Since I experienced many good Carbonara they were pretty terrible taste. I did not like it all. I won’t go again. I am not recommending this restaurant at all

We were in Frankfurt for a concert and wanted to go out for dinner beforehand. Along the main street we saw this restaurant which was very attractive from the outside. However, this is not the case at all… the waiter was very unfriendly and the food was not good. Expensive prices and tasteless food. Not worth a visit. Hope you don't make the same mistake as us.

The food is okayish and service is very slow. I ate antipasti , salmon, and cassata for dessert.

Unfortunately, from a culinary point of view, it was a complete failure. We each had a lunch menu with soup as a starter and stuffed pasta that was gratinated. The soup was completely over-seasoned and the pasta filling was indefinable and bland. Overall, the dishes were neither convincing in terms of taste nor quality.

The veal and veal ragu were amazingly flavorful, Pinot Grigio and beer were excellent and service was top notch. Original: Deducted one star because my wine tasted a bit flat, but everything else was fantastic- pizza was fresh and delicious, staff was attentive and the beer was great.

Yesterday we had a family celebration with 35 people here, all I can say is that everything was perfect! Starters, intermediate course, main course a dream, the wine excellent, the Aperol spritz perfectly mixed! The service is always nice and professional! Hello, we went to dinner yesterday before the Howard Carpendaile concert. The hammer. Service Food Ambience we'll be back even without a concert. Dad is worth the trip. Perfetto. Tutto bene. It's like a short vacation in Italy. Gracie, it was beautiful

We wanted to eat something outside with 4 people. Waiter: not reserved, only inside, otherwise bye. I have rarely experienced something so rude.

Als aller erstes muss ich sagen das die Einrichtung sehr gemütlich ist und das Essen hervorragend ist so wie auch die Bedienung, alle super freundlich und das preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist auch klasse nicht zu vergessen das es an der Messe ist im Zentrum Frankfurts. Das ist einer unser Lieblings Restaurant also kann ich es nur weiter empfehlen.

Haben den 18 Geburtstag unserer Tochter gefeiert und wir und die Gäste waren megaaaaaa begeistert . Das Essen war top und der Service war megaaa . Die Einrichtung ist sehr gemütlich. Ich würde jederzeit wieder hier feiern . Danke an das ganze Team und dem Inhaber Francesco das er meiner Tochter so einen schönen Geburtstag hat feiern lassen.

The Mediterraneo has always been a safe bet at the Frankfurt Trade Fair....unfortunately the taste has clearly lost. The service, staff and ambience are still good. So put your foot down when it comes to taste and there will be 4 or 5 stars again...

Excellent restaurant. I would almost say that it doesn't matter what you order, everything just tastes incredibly good. The waiters are very friendly and attentive! I love eating here so much, I could come every day
