McDonald's Restaurant in Bochum

Thanks to ordering via the app, there was hardly any waiting time and everything was fresh.

We were here on October 24th. The store was clean, as were the toilets. The service was friendly and the food was delivered quickly. Overall, one of the better McDonalds branches we have recently visited. Keep it up!

Awkward! My daughter's milkshake straw (which is always made of paper) broke off. I asked for a new straw. The gentleman in the white shirt didn't give me a new one! That's what I call service!!! I've never experienced anything more embarrassing! McDonald’s earns billions a year, but you don’t get an extra straw if you order four meals for €45! Abnormal!

I was at the McDonald's at Stormstrasse 6-8 in Bochum today at 5:30 p.m. and can only report positive things! After a stressful day in traffic, I was really exhausted, but the friendly staff immediately put a smile on my face. The atmosphere in the restaurant was pleasant and inviting. The food was simply delicious - the burgers were fresh and juicy, and the fries were crispy and perfectly seasoned. Just what I needed after a long car ride! I would particularly like to highlight the quick service and helpfulness of the staff, who made me feel at home straight away. All in all, my visit there was a great experience. I can only recommend this McDonald's if you want to make a quick stop and get some refreshment. Many thanks to the team for the great service and delicious food!

Very long waiting times and unfriendly employees. Food was lukewarm. At the next table, someone was talked stupidly at by the staff because he ordered a small order of table service. The employee became very rude.

I've gotten breakfast so many times and often didn't get the right one. The system doesn't work properly when it comes to personalizing the products and then you get the things without cheese on the wrap, scrambled eggs and bacon. I don't understand how you can forget something like that. I'm really angry now about how often things are processed incorrectly there.

I was at McDonald's drive-thru at 12:35 a.m. on August 14, 2024 and wanted to order a McSundae ice cream, but the ice cream machine was broken again. Then I wanted an apple turnover, which was also unavailable without any reason being given to me. As a last attempt, I ordered a cappuccino, but the coffee machine was also out of order. There was still an hour and a half until closing time, and still all I could get was a simple black coffee. Really frustrating when several machines are defective and product availability is so poor.

I was just there to order food. I was shocked at the “cleanliness”. When the shift manager noticed that I had taken a photo of the situation, the gentleman asked me to delete it immediately. He threatened me with the police. I'll probably be taken to prison soon by McDonald's own SEK. I left the restaurant without ordering. The shift manager followed me to take down the license plate number of my vehicle. This was forwarded to another person via WhatsApp. Hard customs in Wattenscheid on Stormstrasse. When I worked there, they didn't treat customers like that.

I treated myself to my special requests again. I like jalapeños and extra sandwich sauce on my Mac Chicken. What did I get? The toilet seat when you lift it up is totally yellowed with old urine... The toilet roll lies on the dispenser and is not inserted INTO the dispenser. Since the dispenser is round, the roll doesn't stay on it. She was flying around on the floor as I entered the toilet. This is not hygienic... The smell was also typical urine... The ceramics were clean. I think that the sanitary facilities are ALWAYS a flagship of catering establishments. In that case I would give it a grade of 4 and never enter the restaurant again.

I have almost 3 decades of experience in dealing with customers and workflows and have seen a lot, but I have never experienced such disorganization and chaos..! Several orders were incorrect, customers who arrived later received their food beforehand because they couldn't stop to process the papers in order, Lieferando orders were given out in between, the drive-in and parking lot were overcrowded, staff were totally overwhelmed..! To those responsible: It's not enough to put someone behind the counter, you also have to explain and teach them a little about the work processes and a certain system...!
