Burger King in Bochum

I ventured back into the restaurant again, and this time I got the expected quality. However, almost 30 minutes of waiting time for three burgers, even with a full drive-thru, is very long. Afterwards, I ended up with stomach problems, so I won't be buying anything there again. I'm crazy for going back after almost a year. This time, the wait for a meal and a burger was over 30 minutes. They forgot my drink, and unfortunately, I only noticed at home that I'd received a small order of fries instead of a large one. Otherwise, it was okay, but there's plenty of room for improvement... maybe next year. After my last three visits in the past few weeks, I was pleasantly surprised, as even with larger orders, the wait time and quality were reasonably good. Although I still avoided entering the restaurant when several customers were already waiting, I have to adjust my review and ask them to keep up the good work. ... Things are going downhill again at this branch. After my last few visits, I can only advise everyone to actually unpack takeaway orders on-site to avoid finding a cheaper product inside the packaging of their ordered burger at home. The excuse of misunderstanding something when ordering simply doesn't work anymore when everything is done via a computer terminal.

I've visited this branch several times in the last few months, but unfortunately, the situation hasn't improved. I don't know who does inventory, but for months now, medium or large bags have been unavailable, which means multiple burgers or larger orders are crammed into small bags. These are difficult to close, causing the food to cool down quickly and often arrive squashed. There's no "I'm sorry" or any kind of apology from the staff, which is neither customer-friendly nor commensurate with the price. It's truly sad that you have to add extra sauce just to get any sauce on the burgers at all. Without it, the burgers are bone dry. Sometimes the patties are simply unusable. The staff regularly seem overworked and stressed, regardless of the time of day. Orders often take an unusually long time, both at the drive-thru and in the restaurant. No hello, no smile, nothing. Instead, you often get such annoyed looks that you don't feel welcome at all, or sometimes you don't even dare to order anything because you can tell from their body language and demeanor that they simply don't want any customers. I find it completely unacceptable when you walk into a restaurant as a guest and immediately feel uncomfortable just because of the looks or the way you're treated, and think, "Okay, coming here probably wasn't a good idea." Overall, this is unfortunately the worst Burger King I've ever been to. There's a real need for improvement.

We went there today and ordered, but unfortunately it didn't taste good and the staff were all bad. The bad employee, Ahmed, is a good example. Stay away from this Burger King, nothing is fresh.

Ordered 4 crispy chicken burgers... ---> but received 2 chicken burgers + 2 nugget burgers Aside from that: Waiting 35 minutes in the drive-thru line after ordering... NO GO! Even on a second attempt, I had another unpleasant experience... Ordered ketchup and received mayonnaise. Chilled cheeseburger and received a regular, plain cheeseburger. Never a third time!!!

I placed my order at 11:04 AM today as the second customer and didn't get out until 11:20 AM. For a small order of fries and a burger, plus the new kebab fries, that's way too long in my opinion. After 10 minutes, I asked what was going on, and they said, "Oh yeah, kebabs take a while"—so it's not exactly fast food. What a shame, Burger King 🤷‍♂️ I wouldn't stop here again if I'm just passing through.

Waiting half an hour for two burgers, employees messing around instead of preparing the food. The bag is just shoved in front of you like it's "eat or die," no "please" even when the place is empty. It's getting worse and worse.

Unfortunately the employees are very rude and unfriendly to you from 10 p.m. onwards and give the impression that they simply don't care whether you order at the drive-thru or inside. I've had this happen 5 times already and always a new manager who was in a bad mood even though I only ordered something to eat and when I pay in cash they simply don't care whether I order at the drive-thru or inside and when it's full it feels like nothing moves anymore and you wait inside for almost an hour and get lukewarm food.

Just Burger King for a quick snack. For a big one, it's expensive. Ordering the things you want would be faster without IT. So, the entire add-on is listed.

Yesterday, however, I was also given a card with a QR code to rate the store. If you put two and two together, you'll know why yesterday's service was good.

How often do you really want to postpone delivery times again and again? It usually takes you 30-40 minutes just to accept an order. When you still had your own drivers, the service was much better. Now it's just a joke!

We go here occasionally because it's still the best BK in the region. Parking is limited, but you can almost always find one. Amazingly, the restrooms (two stalls in the men's area) are always clean, there's soap, and the dryers work. This wasn't always the case, but you've obviously established a reliable cleaning routine here. Please continue. The trays are emptied, and I no longer have the impression that full garbage trucks sit in the designated bays for long periods. This used to be different, but you've improved this, thank you very much. There are order terminals that work. Ordering and paying with cash at the counter are complicated, and the employees want you to order and pay via the terminals. The following things need improvement: 1. The sometimes extremely long processing time, even when there's not much to do and the store is empty. You need to improve this, because 15-20 minutes of waiting time for two simple meals is simply too much. Fast food has to be ready quickly, otherwise it annoys customers. To make up for it, you could simply throw in a free burger. 2. Orders aren't always complete. Sometimes the sauce is missing, sometimes the cheese on the Whopper (after all, it's a €1.00 extra charge!), sometimes the whole Whopper. I highly recommend checking your order in person and complaining if something isn't right. After all, you're paying for it. Of the last 10 orders, 3 were incomplete. This has to improve, as the competition opened a brand-new branch 2 minutes away. The ambiance was pretty cool when it opened, but that was 20+ years ago, and the decor is showing its age. A makeover certainly wouldn't hurt.

I don't know of a worse BK in all of North Rhine-Westphalia than the one on Castroper Hellweg. The drive-thru is absolutely terrible. This place should be closed down.

My Burger King of choice when I want to buy their food. So far, no errors with orders, and the staff are friendly. Orders are placed via four "kiosks" (touchscreens) where you can pay by card or take your order to the cash register and pay there. One downside is the wait time for the order (in-store orders), which, in my opinion, is always long (never less than ten minutes) because the store is packed in the afternoon/evening. If you want to pick something up on the weekend, you should bring some time or arrive in the morning/midday; in the afternoon, wait times can sometimes be as long as thirty minutes.

What can I say? It's okay for a quick drive-thru. The service and atmosphere are like any Burger King. The taste is okay, too.

Not much can be said about the food. It's a chain and in my opinion tastes the same everywhere at BK. The employees, however, would have to go the extra mile when it comes to friendliness. I've tried it several times now and each time I've been met with a bad mood from the employees. You won't find words like please and thank you or have a nice day or evening here. Let alone the look on your face when you get your order. Like they just want to throw it at you. It's enough to eat but you can't expect anything from the staff here.

You decide to get something to eat there one day because you haven't been there in ages, and then it's a complete disaster. Taking your order was probably the first challenge. I paid in full and then they supposedly ran out of salad, okay, no big deal. When I got home, not only was the salad missing, but also the onions, as well as the cheese sauce I'd ordered separately, which I also paid for separately. Oh yeah, and the fries were splattered and barely edible. And when you look behind the counter, I hope it's not a permanent situation. Anyway, it was definitely the last time I went there. I don't even want to give it a star.

In theory (according to the checklist) everything was probably OK - except that there were supposedly no more trays left (with 5 guests at half past eleven at night). But the long chili cheese was dripping with grease and BK fries used to be tastier than McD's. That was once... Will be my last visit to BK for the time being.

Dennoch wurde zuerst die Drive_Thru Bestellungen eingepackt, obwohl diese Burger erst gemacht werden mussten. Insgesamt 7 Leute anwesend, 4 einer Küche, ein Typ mit dem Klemmbrett, ein Schichtleiter und eine Bedienung, und die völlig überfordert. Leute, Kundenservice und Fastfood sind was anderes.

Yes, I can recommend it. I rarely go there because it's not on my way. But every now and then I really crave eating there. On Sunday I ate the grilled flatbread filled with chicken breast, lettuce, tomato and delicious curry sauce, 😋 fries 🍟 and a drink. It didn't take long until we had our food. My friend and I enjoyed it fantastically.

We were the only guests and yet every table was dirty. The food was first delivered with the wrong drink, then cold and changed upon request. We left almost everything behind because after the hair in the fries we had lost our appetite. The manager had little interest in the complaint. No response, no apology and visibly annoyed. The taste of old fat accompanied me all day. Just disgusting. One of the employees advised me not to eat there, and I get one star for this kind advice. Thanks for the honesty👌🏻

Unfortunately my fries were forgotten again and I only noticed it when I got home. I have no understanding of such fraud because nothing has ever been overpacked.
