A very disappointing experience. My takeaway order from McDonald’s Wels on December 15, 2025, at 9:51 p.m. was incomplete, even though everything was paid for correctly and itemized on the receipt. Two large fries and the bacon I ordered with my Royal Cheese were missing. For an international chain like McDonald’s, such an error is absolutely unacceptable, especially with a larger order. What's particularly frustrating is that you usually only notice the mistake at home and then have no way to get it resolved immediately. There is clearly a lack of care and quality control. A clear warning to other customers: 👉 Always check your order immediately upon arrival, especially for takeaway or drive-thru orders – otherwise, you might end up paying for items you don't receive. This is not what I expect from McDonald’s service.

Hopeless service, non-functioning touch machines and eternal queues, the worst McDonald's in the area

If you left your purse behind this morning (12/12/25 @ 10.45ish), while sat at the table by the entrance, I handed it to the manager(ess) who has it. 👍

The worst McDonald's restaurant I know. I'm here quite often, and unfortunately, it's always the same. Overwhelmed young people who have no clue how things work. Everyone's doing everything in a jumbled mess; fries are pre-fried and served cold. Chicken nuggets are already cold, and if you want to exchange them, you get another cold one. Burgers have been filled incorrectly several times. Tables are rarely clean, and the upstairs area is dirty. It's become so annoying and rude!

You get what you already know...

By far the worst-organized McDonald's I know. I was there on Repentance and Prayer Day, and every table was occupied. There was only one employee delivering all the orders to the tables (poor girl). I received the wrong order. Never again, not even in an emergency.

Wednesday, 11 PM, all the seats downstairs are taken and the upstairs area is closed. No one seems to care when you stand in the aisle... the only response to a polite inquiry is, "It's closed!" So far, so good... the milkshake we ordered was sour. When the kids tried to exchange it, they were snapped at rather rudely! The second milkshake was also sour... so, after some more grumbling, they were exchanged for an ice cream... the difference in price wasn't refunded!

Everything was as usual. Friendly staff and a lovely location.

The worst McDonald's I've ever eaten at. The sandwiches were cold, and there was chaos everywhere. There was no paper at the ordering kiosks. The whole place was in complete disarray, and the manager just stood around looking clueless. I can't recommend it – the worst McDonald's I've ever eaten at.

The staff are extremely friendly and remain remarkably polite even under high stress. Service is very fast and reliable during the week. In addition, they are constantly tidying up and keeping everything very clean.

Incapable of processing a normal McDonald's drive-thru order. We've never received a complete order at this location. It infuriates me when I get home and realize half of it is missing. Next time we'll go to the competition.

The cola tasted like 90% water. Maybe check the mixing ratio.

Always check your order; rarely is everything correct. Either something is missing or special requests aren't accommodated.

For 20 minutes, no one cares about our order. One of the worst McDonald's partners I've ever visited.

The staff at the McDrive-thru this morning completely mixed up the orders. The lady told me she didn't have time to look up the right menu item and that I should hurry up. I haven't experienced such a lack of respect in a long time.

Extremely unfriendly service. I've noticed it several times. Today, however, I had a young man at the counter who seemed extremely rude. When I asked him if he was in a bad mood, he responded with a resounding "Yes."

Unfriendly, inedible, unhygienic

I just grabbed a quick bite and used the restroom. The restroom was surprisingly clean and tidy. The wrap was good, and the coffee was excellent. I often go to McDonald's just for the coffee.

A very unfriendly lady at the food counter. She was very annoyed about getting a new carrot cake from the storeroom and made it very clear. When I asked for a shift supervisor, the employees pretended they didn't understand me. What a pity.

I ordered a chocolate shake for my daughter. It tasted more like alcohol and was crumbly and disgusting. When I asked, the employees said it was normal. Two employees tried it and said it was fine. They offered me a new one, but I declined because of the consistency and smell, also out of fear for my health. I was offered a regular drink, but I didn't want it since we already had Coke. They didn't refund my money. I hope we don't get stomach upset from drinking it.

I've always been extremely satisfied here. But today the service was truly abysmal. I waited 15 minutes for a simple order (a Smart Meal with a double cheeseburger and an extra chicken burger), and suddenly the order disappeared. After being ignored for five minutes at the cashier, my number was called and I was told that everything was fine, I had received my order. Luckily, I checked on the way out and complained about the simple cheeseburger.

Every meal comes with this disgusting chicken stuff; it would be an advantage to also have meals without nuggets.

Hello, I wonder how such a piece of plastic gets into a Big Mac?? If I'd seen this in person, I would have complained immediately. Absolutely unacceptable.

I only used the Drive through many times, the staff is always super friendly and of course super busy. They speak many languages, service is quick and easy and even the ice cream machine works all the time. Thanks.

The food was cold, despite a long wait, even though it wasn't busy. The fries were hard. The Coke was full of ice cubes, and the Coke tasted like water. I don't think anyone here really wants to work. The order came, but three things were missing. It's been a disaster here lately.

The food is standardized, and therefore like McDonald's everywhere... but with a fantastic atmosphere. The interior design seems particularly unusual to me. Relaxed seating areas, beautiful wooden partitions, flowers, the coffee bar, and the open kitchen invite you to linger and feel at home.

The service is a disaster. You stand in front of someone and they ignore you for 10 minutes without asking why you might be standing there.

In 2025, it's simply incomprehensible and absolutely shameful that an international chain doesn't offer any vegan or even vegetarian options for breakfast. Not a single burger, not a single dish, not even a minimal selection – this is not only disappointing, but demonstrates a complete disregard for current eating habits, social responsibility, and customer needs. Other providers – even smaller businesses – have long understood that plant-based alternatives should be the norm. Here, it seems as if time has stood still. For a company of this size, this is not only backward, but also a disgrace. Anyone who shows such a lack of awareness in 2025 has lost touch. For me, this is a clear reason to avoid this chain in the future.

The tables weren't clean, although they weren't very clean. It stank of urine or something. The floor was disgusting.

I waited 20 minutes for my food, and the food was still cold. Then I told my supervisor what was going on and got a shoulder lift.

I've rarely seen such a dirty and disgusting place. You're greeted by overflowing trash cans at the entrance, and the inside is just as filthy: no table was clean, and the floor was littered with trash. To top it all off, the food was cold. This McDonald's urgently needs an inspection.

The fries are usually just soggy, and the friendliness of the staff is hit and miss. Sometimes a solid 5/5, and sometimes a complete disaster.

I'm actually a regular customer at this branch, already know many of the employees, and always enjoy going there, always receiving excellent service. However, today I was there and ordered a meal with a Sprite as a drink. The employee gave me a Coke, which I unsuspectingly took a sip of (you can't see the contents through the cardboard lid). Since I have a severe caffeine intolerance, this is disastrous! This shouldn't happen; that was a new employee. Please train your new staff!! I will not be visiting this branch again due to this incident!

It was extremely busy, but the food was super fresh and served really quickly despite the large number of guests. The restaurant was also very clean. Truly top-notch.

One of the most disgusting McDonald's in the Munich area. I'll never go there again. What I'm writing now isn't made up, it's true. A good friend who lives nearby got food poisoning from this McDonald's. While he was in the hospital, another woman was there who was also there because of it. The health department should go there and do something for our tax money. Take random swabs and check for hygiene. McDonald's should also send someone there. They can't let them get away with it. In general, you get the feeling that the food tastes better at other McDonald's.

Warning, this place is being ripped off! Once again, a burger was missing from the drive-thru pickup line.

Burgers tasted great. Compared to our Belgian MC this is 1000% better meat.

Unfortunately, the order was incomplete twice, and the cashier and waiter were overwhelmed with the complaint both times. The stairs were sticky; either something had recently been spilled or hadn't been cleaned. The burgers in paper were squashed, and the sauce oozed out of one side and then disappeared. Neither love nor care were present.

Absolutely nothing works in this branch! Either they don't understand you because they don't speak the language, or they bring you something completely wrong! I'll never eat here again, it's a disaster!

You have to completely empty the reusable cups before returning them. Great... first you get way too much ice, and then you have to run to the bathroom to empty it. Thanks, but no way. For those prices, I can get actual food and friendly service elsewhere. I have no idea why anyone still goes to those guys.

Very unfriendly employees. They shout at the customers! You stand at the café and they shout at you, telling you to go to the regular MC checkout. Is it a problem to just put up a sign saying that the MC Caffe is unmanned? Totally unfriendly and unprofessional.

It's quite large and always very busy. The food is typical of Donald's, but everything is neat and clean. You often have to wait a while, and sometimes not everything is on your tray right away, so you have to ask again.

Compared to other McDs, it simply takes forever to get your order in your hands. You don't feel welcome, but rather like an intrusion.

Unfortunately, I've been disappointed again and again. The bread was dry, the meat extremely thin – you can just tell they're skimping on quality. Even worse: the drinks! Once again, the Coke was completely non-carbonated, as was the Fanta. Fresh tastes different. When I pointed this out to the staff, I was even given an unfriendly slur instead of simply getting an apology. That's not how you treat customers. I actually expect a certain standard from a chain like McDonald's – especially when it comes to such basic things. Unfortunately, that's not the case here.

Every time I order takeaway, something is forgotten... This time they even swapped a whole special offer burger... It's a mystery to me how they can be so consistently incompetent with so many staff.

Unfortunately, the quality of the formerly good McDonald's is increasingly declining. The interior design is very similar to another restaurant chain, as if it were copied directly.

We've been to McDonald's in Parsdorf several times – mostly via the drive-thru. Unfortunately, we've noticed something negative each time, which in the long run significantly tarnishes our impression of this location. Service & Reliability: Almost every time, our order was either incorrectly prepared, delivered incompletely, or products were swapped. This means you either have to go back or – even more annoying – find out at home that part of your order is missing. This is particularly frustrating at a drive-thru, as you want to rely on a complete and correct delivery. The staff often seem listless, unmotivated, and rather aggressive with customers. A friendly greeting or a quick glance at the orders doesn't seem to be routine here. Conclusion: If McDonald's weren't an international chain with consistent product standards, we would have avoided this location long ago. Unfortunately, you can't rely on even the most basic processes here. We hope that management takes these recurring deficiencies seriously and significantly improves processes and the friendliness with which customers are treated.

Tables and the floor are dirty, half of the ordering screens are not working the rest is slow like a computer from the 90’s. Use it only if you have to and have plenty of time otherwise not recommended.

Fries 🍟 cold... when you buy a new one, large fries for €4.19, you get cold fries again... and half full. What kind of service is that, please??? No desire to argue. Left and never again. What a shame!! And we asked nicely for them to be eaten warm once. Sad

I ordered at the terminal. It was extremely slow, and when it did respond, it was suddenly very sensitive. Also, no receipt came out. Luckily, I checked the terminal again for my order number. Then it said "in process," after just a few seconds "ready for pickup," and suddenly it disappeared from the screen altogether. I was standing at the counter to pick up my order, and then an employee started rudely telling me that my number was being called. You also need to check your system. The staff speaks little to no German, so communication is virtually nonexistent.

Unfortunately, they're completely understaffed. Two employees for the entire store, including the drive-in. But the owner probably already has a sports car collection and a villa in the Balearic Islands...

Unfortunately the quality is getting worse and worse. Unfriendly and annoyed employees who unfortunately understand very little German always serve the same things to eat, nothing new but always more expensive. Never again McDonald's

Never again!!! I had the rainbow donut from McCafé. It was already completely dry and hard. I wonder how long it had been sitting in the display?

The order was a complete mess, not for the first time. We ordered vegan products, got regular ones, and didn't get a bill. They didn't even ask if we wanted one.

The McDonald's is on my way home from work. I usually go to the drive-thru to get food to go. Unfortunately, the store never manages to pack my entire order. Also, today I discovered for the third time that I received completely moldy salad. I'm now contacting the health department. 😡I'm so angry.

Everything was clean. Burgers were fresh and hot. Service was friendly and quick. Restrooms were clean. There was a large parking lot, and they even catered for Tesla electric vehicles. Everything was great!

Unfortunately, this couch in the store never seems to be properly cleaned, as it's had a faint smell of urine for several weeks. Furthermore, the first floor is closed off without any proper signage (they simply put a barrier in front of the stairs), even on weekends. If you're already sitting upstairs, you're not informed. The restrooms are also located there. The staff are generally unfriendly and disinterested.

Just ordered a MCPLANT and noticed at home that it was beef, that shouldn't happen!!!!!

Unfortunately, I had forgotten about my last visit five years ago – something had changed, surprisingly in the wrong direction. Three(!) of the ordering terminals were broken, so that despite moderate traffic around 2:00 p.m., we already had to wait. We (the two of us) had carelessly chosen wait-to-serve service. Whether the lukewarm fries and already cold burgers therefore waited a long time for pickup or were placed cold on the tray, I can't judge, but in the end, it doesn't matter. But all of this was topped off by the store manager, who reacted extremely unprofessionally to the complaint. At least we deserve one star, as we got our money back without any problems. At least I won't forget this experience again, even after five years...

I'm taking off one star for the smell of the toilet that I can smell as soon as I go up to the second floor.

I went to McDonald's in Poing with my children today – it was 31 degrees outside, but felt like over 40 inside. Absolutely unbearable, especially with children. When I asked an employee about it, I was told: "It's not my fault." When I asked for the branch manager, I was told that they've been cutting back on air conditioning since the coronavirus pandemic and the Ukraine war – and have been doing so for three years. In such a large, modern building, I find this incomprehensible. The heat was almost unbearable; a longer stay is unreasonable. This is a disaster for families. I hope management takes this feedback seriously – in any case, things can't continue like this.

The process was a bit chaotic, from the McDonald's counter to the food delivery. The quality of McDonald's has deteriorated considerably. Finally, the exit was blocked by waiting vehicles. The order takers and the vehicles trying to leave were in the same lane.

The last time I was at this McDonald's was two years ago, and I noticed that nothing has changed; it's just as dirty and disgusting as it was two years ago. 99% of all branches are like that. You'd be better off finding a real restaurant instead of wasting your money here!

Ordered an iced coffee shake with chocolate sauce twice within 5 days and didn't get it once. The first time I got a large cold coffee, I put it back on the employee's table and wanted to exchange it. I didn't even get an apology. And now in the drive-thru I first got the wrong sauce and then the right sauce but a vanilla milkshake. Sorry, but if you can't even manage that then maybe you should do something else professionally. I'm going to get the money refunded because I'm sick of always getting the wrong stuff at McDonald's. They seem to get away with it far too often.

We were just at this McDonald's at 10 p.m. on the long journey home from vacation with our 7-year-old daughter. The stairs leading up to the bathroom were blocked off. We asked if we could use the bathroom, and a member of staff said yes, but not to sit upstairs. My husband went to the bathroom first. There were adults sitting at several tables upstairs. When I wanted to go up to the bathroom with my daughter, we were repeatedly and very rudely reprimanded, saying we weren't allowed to go up. We went up anyway because my daughter urgently needed to go to the bathroom. Again, many of the tables upstairs were occupied. How unfriendly can you be to children! Shame on you. I'm going to file an official complaint.

To be honest? The shop was really good to begin with, but now it's getting worse and worse. If I had ordered in-store, I would have returned it. But since I always order from the McDrive, I only opened it at the next traffic light and noticed that it was cold again; either the napkins were missing, half of the order was missing, or the Coke was stale again. Today, after a long time, I went back in and had previously ordered via the app to pick it up from the Mac Drive. But again I only got a single order, even though I used the vouchers to order two with chicken. For the price of one, after I complained, they claimed I had only ordered a single order. And then they presented me with a receipt showing that I had only ordered one. But I was able to use the app to prove that I ordered two Mac Chickens for the price of one and that I had also paid with Apple Pay. But nobody cared. I have to start warning people about this McDonald's. In my opinion, there is a major rip-off going on here. And judging by other reviews, I'm not the only one complaining. I'll go back to the competition in the future, it's also on my way home.

I go to McDonald's often—I live nearby, too. But my last three visits have been disappointing. If the fries aren't that good, I don't care. But if you treat yourself to 20 nuggets and they taste bad, aren't cooked through, or are just old, that's crap... And if that happens three times in a row, I'll just go to the restaurant next door. It really spoils my McDonald's experience. I went there for years and was always happy to say, "This one is always fresh and delicious," but unfortunately, McDonald's now tastes like a main McDonald's—people know what I mean... a shame.

The order counters hardly work at all

This McDonald's branch has some of the most bored and incompetent employees. There's no other explanation for how they manage to make two McDouble Chili Cheese Burgers without chili cheese sauce. 🤦🏻. There are always two or three people milling around at the counter, but even if no one is in front of you, you wait at least five minutes for your order. The McDrive is also occasionally closed because some strange dump truck is parked there. McDonald's Germany should consider finding another operator for these branches, as they're currently just an embarrassment and a disgrace for the company.

Items or sauces are repeatedly missing. It can't be that difficult to work through a list, can it? Or is the staff unmotivated? The food is cold, and the order is always incomplete.

The food was lukewarm when it arrived, but since we were in a hurry, I didn't complain. We'll go back and see if it's better.

Waited 40 minutes for the food. After 20 minutes I asked again and was rudely sent away. Impudence! There is no money back either.

Complete disaster of the store. In the take-a-was order there was a portion of fries instead of a hamburger, mustard sauces instead of curry sauces, burgers packed in the bag so that one was completely distributed in the bag.

Instead of cappuccino bitter filter coffee, Dark Choco is powdered liquor with water. Pretty bold for 3.89. My number appears as ready for collection. Finally. Never come back.

The food is cold and tasteless. The potatoes are cold and not crispy. Burgers are of very poor quality. Other McDonalds cook much better and tastier.
