dean&david in Vaterstetten

I had the pleasure of stopping at the rest stop in Vaterstetten today. I actually wanted to order two cappuccinos at the coffee shop next door. A sign said "I'll be right back," but no one came. The friendly lady at Dean and David told me to wait five minutes, my colleague was making lunch... no problem, I waited. But no one came... And then something happened that I've never experienced before. I was 1000% positively surprised. With the words... "I can't leave you standing here that long," the lady made me two cappuccinos. I've rarely experienced such service at a rest stop, and I'm also aware that the lady didn't have to do it. @ Dean&David, a medal for your employee, fantastic, top!! Amazing. @ the coffee shop next door, I grant everyone their lunch break, no question. Whether it's at 1:00 PM during rush hour and there's no substitute... difficult. At least a sign with concrete information would have been good. Alternatively, hire the lady from Dean & David and pay her properly, because she was great.

Along the highway, you'll find this gem. Anyone standing in line for McDonald's there... At Dean and David's, you get fantastic, authentic food for less. Cheers to your health!

Tasty salad with grilled chicken. Large portion and tasty. Reasonably priced. Dining area crowded.

The falafel bowl was very tasty and highly recommended. Unfortunately, the apple spritzer wasn't chilled, so it had to be drunk warm.

Never had such bad coffee for so much money.

The bowls and curry were fresh and delicious. The prices were fair, and the staff (Maria) was super friendly and patient. Thumbs up for the best motorway service station restaurant we've visited so far! 👍😊

Unfortunately we read the reviews too late; it was closed for us too, even though it said it was open online. This is really frustrating. From Munich to Salzburg you have to turn around and go through quite a bit of hassle (in order to be able to eat properly at a motorway rest stop somewhere). I don't want to fill out a feedback form online, please provide the correct opening times...

Mon, 7:00 p.m., full lighting, food in the counter but supposedly closed. Original sound from another service employee: It's always like that with them.

I've been there several times during the stated opening times and so far the shop has always been closed, even though it says "open" online...

It says open online - there is a small sign on site that says it is closed. impudence

Closed again even though we were there within opening hours. This is really an absurdity. We drove to the rest stop specifically to eat healthy and ended up having to go back to McDonald’s.

I was thrilled to finally be able to get a meal in a motorway service station (Fatherstetten) that you could simply eat with a clear conscience, everything was freshly prepared, the price was very good and it tasted excellent, thank you very much for that a real joy for me, hopefully soon in many other rest stops too, that would be great, keep it up and all I can say about Mia's orange juice problem is that maybe she mistook the bottling date on the cup for the expiry date, my juice was fresh 😀

By far the best food on the motorway

Today a go fresh orange juice 250ml heaped for over €3 a bit expensive but you think it's ok for fresh orange juice but then it expired on January 25th, 2024 that's a huge joke. Luckily I noticed that before I drank it and I was already too far away to give it back.

A fast food restaurant on the highway that's closed... Where can you find something like that! No information on Google and from the website!

Cozy atmosphere and friendly service. The espresso coffee is mediocre; the American one is better. Excellent motorbike parking.

Fair prices (and right on the highway.) The food was very tasty.

Raststätte Vaterstetten bietet um 21.30 nichts mehr an…., anscheinend alles ausverkauft. Schlechte Planung???? Schade, bin normalerweise regelmäßiger Kunde und finde die Qualität des Essens super. Aber , dass man an einer Raststätte ausverkauft ist, finde ich schlecht.

Hallo Essen ist super lecker. Aber meisten wenn ich Mittag dort hin fahre, gibt es nur eine kleine Auswahl an schon fertigen Salaten und keine warmen Gerichte. :(

Mega gutes Essen und absolut liebevolles und zuvorkommendes Personal (eine Dame mit kurzen grauen Haaren). Immer wieder gerne!

Man kan godt blive træt af fastfood, og Dean & David overraskede virkelig positivt. Meget friske råvarer, velsmagende sammensat, man bliver mæt og føler virkelig man har fået et sundt måltid. Mad vi vil søge efter næste gang God og sød service

Mega leckeres Essen endlich mal eine gute Alternative zu den typischen Raststätten Restaurants. Schade das es die nicht überall gibt. Auch die Raststätte selbst war sehr schön, die Kinder hatten etwas zum Spielen und der Wickelraum war schön sauber 👍

Sehr gutes und frisches Essen undctrinken. Sehr freundliche und kompetente Mitarbeiterin. Immer wieder gerne und sehr zu Empfehlen!!

Weder das Chicken noch das Vegan Red Curry haben nach Red Curry geschmeckt. Die Gerichte waren geschmacklos, der Reis und das Gemüse waren zu lange gekocht.

Wer gesundes Essen an einer Raststätte sucht, sollte hier seine Pause verbringen! Tolle Auswahl, schneller Service, leckeres Essen und schnell zubereitet. Preis/Leistung ist wesentlich besser, als beim Burger-Brater nebenan.

75%, quite healthy, taste OK, 1€ Beilagensalad great (!!), service bit tired, overall best option over here, can recommend. We had: crunchy beef bowl and falafel budha bowl with additional salads.
