Typical McDonalds restaurant. The food is prepared quickly and is hot. The staff is friendly and accommodating.

Unfortunately there weren't many things. Bought coffee but didn't get it because the machine was broken. Food took forever and the ice cream machine was also broken. The lady who tried to wipe the tables pushed all the crumbs onto the seats. You probably get more than minimum wage for something like that at MC DONALDS? For the prices, I now find the service and quality more than questionable. If it weren't for the child, McDonald's wouldn't see me anymore.

Really bad. Every time we go by there, the machine that makes milkshakes is broken. Now back and alternatives sold out. Will avoid this store. Too many paths taken in vain.

The Mc drive could be kept clean and made quieter so that those in the car behind us didn't get food until we did. It's a shame so far we've always had problems with the food, some of it dry and the salad is usually not fresh, sorry there was no more burgers because the salad was out! It's supposed to be bad, it's just supposed to be an improvement.

All in all a very good McDonalds restaurant, however it is a bit unclear how to get to this restaurant as it is a bit back.

Visit on July 6th Around 6:30 p.m. I don't know what some consider service-oriented and clean. The men's room smelled bad of urine and feces. Worse than a Dixi after 2 days of dike fire at 30 degrees in the shade. There was a small spoon for the large latte, a portion of normal fries cold and only half filled, Mc Tasty bacon listlessly thrown together and looking like it had been thrown on. Cleanliness in the kitchen and dining room calls for trade inspection and health authorities.

Staff a 10 out of 10. Understandable at the drive in, and very friendly during service. Unfortunately that was it. A milkshake was ordered and paid for, and I received a cola. And then I realized how cumbersome the cardboard lids are. The ice cubes press the depressed recess closed again. If you take the lid off, you're more likely to eat the ice cubes than drink them. After half a cup I didn't feel like it anymore. Some of the burgers were so greasy, probably made so quickly, that they gave me diarrhea. The parking lot is designed as a one-way street. You should avoid reversing into the parking spaces, otherwise you will have to turn the car around in the narrow space. If you want to get out of the drive-in into the parking lot, you either drive around the block once or have to reverse the car once at the “exit”. It would be positive to mention that there are quite a few trash cans. And that they are unusually empty, i.e.... they are also emptied regularly. An EWE charging station is also available. Only an EQE driver can go to the trouble of reversing into parking and has to circle around when driving out. This McDonalds also delivers.

But what bothers me the most is the cleanliness. Something is often missing when ordering. Glass partitions should be cleaned. Wipe tables regularly. You should also check the toy tower outside. Disgusting. Toilets do not have round corners and you should also remember to clean the tiled walls. There should really be a certain level of cleanliness and you should pay attention to that...I think it's a shame others can do it too. Oh and why order online if you have to wait forever anyway. Something definitely has to change

So honestly mcd used to be worth a visit but now it's gotten so bad. The service has become so miserable. And now no staff says that there is proper training and further education. For the money you can also eat reasonably well in a restaurant.

I ate here today with my wife and child. And after a few hours, all three of us had absolute fits and stomach problems. Never again McDonald's Varel.

I love eating Mecces, but to be honest Varel is terrible. Orders are basically always wrong, wrong sauce or simply orders ignored or mixed up. The fries are often cold and the staff aren't always the friendliest either.

While I was waiting for my order, I noticed two boys (about 10 years old) trying to place an order. The two were repeatedly left standing without comment while they ordered; the employee apparently had no patience. The branch wasn't very busy and the two boys were the only ones at the checkout. The two finally placed an order, but the amount they had to pay was too high for both of them. The employee, visibly annoyed, sent the children to the order column. The two of them were understandably very overwhelmed there. Even as an adult it is sometimes very challenging. I offered the two boys my help, which was extremely gratefully accepted. It didn't take them long and with the €2 they were given, they were finally able to buy two burgers and a shake each. It makes me angry when children as customers are treated like this! The employee did not respond to my discussion of the incident with understanding but continued to react with great effort. I have great understanding and respect for the often stressful work of the employees at McDonalds, BUT children as customers are definitely treated differently!

At McDonald's the food is always consistent. However, the furnishings here leave something to be desired. The toilets weren't particularly clean and one door doesn't close properly. The staff was friendly but overall the restaurant needs a complete overhaul. You don't really feel comfortable here.

In Varel it's split into two, it's not really clean, especially because there wasn't really much going on. The girl who took our order was very nice and helpful, but while I was waiting for my order I noticed how the young man at the drive counter was insulting people after he closed the window every time. EINFACH NUR DREIST !!!! Man bestellt sich paar Burger und Eis zum mitnehmen und diese Mitarbeiter bekommen es nicht mal hin ein vernünftiges Eis zu machen … 99% Eis gewesen und 1% Beleg aufs Eis und dafür 4,29€ zu verlangen ist eine Frechheit. Was noch dazu kommt ich habe einen milchshake bestellt mit extra Schoko Soße und nicht mal das haben die hinbekommen… einfach nur traurig wie schlecht diese Filiale in den letzen Jahren geworden ist .. aber bei so einem Personal ohne Grundkenntnisse kein Wunder … Das war auf jeden Fall das letze mal .

Oft wird essen vergessen und es dauert sehr lange

2 Menüs beim DriveIn geholt. Die Kommunikation war etwas schwierig, weil die Aussprache der Servicekraft etwas "gewöhnungsbedürftig " war. Das Essen und der Service war McDonalds typisch gut.

Schmeckt nicht mehr wie früher war mal besser 😐 meistens ist der Bürger verbrannt und trocken Pommes 🍟 Schmeckt überhaupt nicht mehr 🤢

Kaffee zu stark, Preis zu hoch.

Mc Donalds wie immer gut. Allerdings müsste an der Sauberkeit im Landen gearbeitet werden. Update: 15.12.2023 Die Sauberkeit hat sich deutlich gebessert.

Nicht jeder mag MC Donalds aber zwischendurch so ein saftigen Burger und eine fette Pommes muss einfach sein!

Mich nervt das neue Automaten- bestellsystem. Mögen die Kids vielleicht mögen und cool finden. Wir vergessen immer das das Geschäft für Menschen und von Menschen ist. Automaten mögen zwar langfristig preiswerter sein aber genau so langfristig vergrault man die Erwachsenen Kunden.

Ich hatte online bereits bestellt, durch mc drive., die Mitarbeiterin sehr redselig , hatte erstmal genau erzählt , was vor uns bestellt wurde und wie sie essen wollen . Unsere Bestellung wurde auf den Wertebereich verlegt, dann 10 min kam sie. Und wieder mal , die Hälfte davon nicht in der tüte. Es ist mir wirklich schleierhaft wieso man eine einfache Bestellung nicht hinkriegt. Das ist so nervig man hat es schließlich bezahlt. Am Schalter drinnen kam dann ,,man könne es nicht nachvollziehen ob es dabei war und wir es vielleicht schon gegessen haben.. häää ...geht's da noch... Wir haben kein Ersatz und auch kein Geld zurück bekommen.. No go Service

Sehr viel los oder zu wenig Angestellte. Die Bestellung hat jedenfalls sehr lange gedauert.

Ich war vollkommen zufrieden... Bestellen ist einfach am Terminal, Bedienung waren nett und haben unser Essen schnell und richtig an den Tisch gebracht, es war sauber im Restaurant und auf den Toiletten... nur ein sehr kleiner Parkplatz, muss man / kann man besser gegenüber bei Lidl / Subway parken....

Haben dort zum Mitnehmen bestellt... Wir haben nur zwei Bestellungen richtig bekommen.

Es war sauber und ordentlich, obwohl es voll war. Die Tische wurden nach jedem Gast, gereinigt. Der Tischservice war schnell und freundlich!

Normaler Mc. Leider muss man jetzt überall am Terminal bestellen. Dadurch gehen Arbeitsplätze verloren. Schade!!

Hallo. Sorry habe schon einige MC Donalds besucht aber das hier hatte nix mit schnell zu tun. was mich aber am meisten genervt hat war, das man mit Gutscheinen Angelockt wird, die aber nicht funktionieren oder nicht verfügbar sind.. schon armselig. Darüber hinaus war das essen teilweise schon kalt und alles sehr lieblos zusammen geklatscht....und das für den Preis.. ich hatte den Eindruck sie waren völlig unterbesetzt...

Habe meine Mayo nicht an den Tisch geliefert bekommen wurde eiskalt ignoriert...

Die Pommes waren gut, der Burger war kalt. Die Toiletten und der Gastraum waren schmutzig. Es war sehr laut. Ein ständiges penetrantes Piepsen aus der Küche ist für Personal und Gast eine Zumutung. Um das Ganze abzurunden, blockierte das hauseigene Lieferfahrzeug die Ladesäule für Elektroautos.

Obwohl es rappelvoll war, mussten wir nur kurz warten. Die Angestellten dort schuften richtig. Hut ab.

Sehr schlechter Service. Beide Kassen für Bestellannahme geschlossen, obwohl viel Personal da war. Alles irre laut. Die Küche piept dauernd schrill durch den ganzen Laden. Das Personal ruft laut. Im Hintergrund läuft Musik. Im Ergebnis schreien sich alle Gäste gegenseitig an, um sich zu verständigen. Ein Teufelskreis.

Manchmal sollten Die Mitarbeiter nur einen Kunden bedienen und nicht mehrere. Denn dann sind die komplett überfordert und bekommen nichts mehr hin auch nach 1,5 Stunden nicht. Das war die Wartezeit nach mehrmals hinterfragen wann es nun endlich fertig ist. Sorry, aber einmal und nie wieder.

Super neue Bedienung, waren sehr hilfsbereit. Immer wieder gern.

Heute mal Onlinebestellung ausprobiert......Bestellung war einfach....hat man ja auch selber gemacht. Nach über einer Std hab ich bei Mc Donalds Varel angerufen und hab gesagt das ich die besagte Zeit schon auf meine Bestellung warte. Aussage der Mitarbeiterin....ist schon unterwegs. Man ist nicht blöd....Fahrzeit von mir bis Mc Donalds....keine 10 min. Bestellung kam 20 min nach dem Anruf. Also klare Sache....Bestellung vergessen. Dazu kommt noch falsches Getränk.....Burger kalt.....Burger katastrophal hergerichtet. Das einzige positive an dieser Bestellung war die junge Frau, die die Lieferung geliefert hat....sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Fazit...bestellen werde ich online nicht mehr. Das funktioniert also auch nicht. Leider im Laden direkt auch schlechte Erfahrung gemacht mit bestellen und das richtige bekommen.
