No deliveries have been possible with Lieferando for days. Yes, you only have one driver, but it's about time you hired another driver or stopped using Lieferando altogether if you're not accepting orders 90% of the time anyway...

The staff are friendly and helpful! The service is excellent.

Delicious fast food. A must every now and then.

Absolutely terrible experience. The customer in front of us had a runny ice cream. He was rudely told that this was normal, and when he insisted, they mumbled a new one for him. The foreign foreman, between 30 and 40 years old, threw a McDonald's bag towards the fryer. The fries that were scattered all over the place were simply put back in the fryer tray. The entire floor is slippery and greasy; a customer in front of us almost slipped. This is the worst McDonald's I've been to in a long time. At least the food tastes the same everywhere.

Finally, a McDonald's that stands out in a positive way! Clean! Even the restrooms. And the best part: table service that checked in later to make sure everything was okay. The missing towel for the McRib was brought immediately. Absolutely fantastic!

Today we also received what we ordered at the drive-in.

We ordered from the restaurant, and half of the order arrived very quickly, but the rest only came after we asked the staff about it three times. The restaurant wasn't crowded, and the staff spent the whole time chatting away. We probably won't be coming back.

Ordered from Lieferando... after an hour and a half, I called to ask when the food would be there. They said it would be there in 15 minutes. After just over half an hour, I called again and asked if the food was still coming. They said the system was down. They gave me a ridiculous excuse... after just over two hours of waiting, the food finally arrived. And it wasn't even lukewarm. I'll never order from them for delivery again.

A classic McDonald's doesn't stand out in any way when it comes to food—neither particularly good nor particularly bad—but it's usually really dirty. The floor is greasy, and there's a lot of dirt in the corners.

Sunday evening shortly before 6:00 p.m. The restaurant was busy, but after about a 10-minute wait at the terminal, we were able to order our food (to eat here). We were there with two families. Unfortunately, there were no more seat reservations available, so we finished our order at the counter to pick it up. So we had to wait for our number to be called (the display board was off). The family we were with was lucky and was able to order at their table. After repeated requests, the others received their food after about 35 minutes. We asked the server if our number would be ready soon. She replied that there were two orders ahead of us. So we had to wait a bit longer with our three children. Since it was getting so late, we told them they could start eating, as our food should be ready soon too, since we ordered at the same time. Then it was 7:00 p.m., and our order still hadn't been handed over the counter. So I went back to the front and asked again how it was possible to have to wait over an hour for food in a fast-food restaurant. They then asked for my number and told me it would be ready soon. So I stood there and waited. Meanwhile, my friend noticed that other tables outside, who had arrived significantly later than us, were getting their food and explained this to the employee. The employee then approached me and asked for my receipt and took it. 20 minutes later, my number was called. A small "we're sorry for the wait," and nothing more. We had to wait over an hour and a half for our food!!!

Sunday evening, the place is packed and disorganized. Our order took over 30 minutes. A woman complained because she had waited almost an hour and was there with a family who were already eating. The ordering kiosks were open, but the monitor displaying orders ready for pickup was broken. So there was a huge rush at the counter. Of course, the cards for delivery to the table were also out. Truly awful, stay away and wouldn't go back. I've attached a picture of the dirty kitchen.

It was okay. The fries were cold, the burger had some of the wrong toppings, and the apple turnovers had the wrong filling. We complained about one of them, which was quite easy. The tables were dirty, and the tray carts were completely overflowing. They probably just didn't have enough staff, or they didn't anticipate the crowds on a Monday evening. I don't like the fact that the benches by the window aren't fixed.

Unfortunately, you can't give zero stars. 10 minutes in the McDrive lane is unacceptable.

The ambiance and food were okay, nothing special, basically the same as always. But for one thing, the restrooms were incredibly filthy and incredibly clean. And the staff were more preoccupied with personal conversations than anything else.

The ordering machine failed during the payment process due to a lack of receipt paper. We still received the direct debit receipt but no order number. Luckily, an employee looked up the number for us. And then we waited 25 minutes until the order was ready. This is no longer fast. Scrap these ordering machines and hire enough staff again. Today was a real outrage.

Very dirty. You could really tell the people there weren't in the mood to work. Tables weren't wiped down, even though several were just left lying around, and trash wasn't picked up either. The food used to be better, but the hamburgers are getting smaller and smaller despite the high costs.

Very nice McDonald's! I was able to charge my laptop and had a delicious breakfast! I'll be happy to come back when I'm passing through :)

Although they offer a "standard" burger at breakfast time, they couldn't offer a veggie burger. Instead, they told me they didn't have any veggie burgers anyway, as all the patties are cooked on the same grill. After ordering, I went to the restroom, where there was no soap. I pointed this out. Then an employee came to the table to inform us that they were out of oat milk. When I went to the restroom again after eating (30 minutes later), there was still no soap. I pointed this out again and waited for it to be refilled. Even though it wasn't busy, and the employees behind the counter were obviously just restocking supplies, no one came. I then washed my hands in the "accessible restroom," which, incidentally, had a trash can for towels that you had to press with your foot to open...

When the order was being prepared, fries were put out, even though the other food took a long time to arrive, and the fries were completely cold.

We were at the McDonald's. The employee at the order counter was very friendly. It was quick, too. At the checkout window, no one really spoke to us. I asked if everything was there. The employees were already talking to each other again. They confirmed it without even looking in my direction. In the end, both Happy Meals were missing apple pieces and drinks. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time something has been missing at McDonald's.

In contrast to the McDonald's in Osterholz-Scharmbeck, this one in Varel is first-class. The staff is friendly, courteous, and the service is good. We always enjoy coming here when we travel to East Frisia. However, the restrooms are a problem, as in many branches. They're dirty, broken, and smell disgusting. That's unacceptable in a restaurant. This definitely needs to be improved!

I was there again today, what can I say? It was more important to make the ice cream I ordered (the car behind me ordered it, and there were three cars waiting in front of me) than to follow the order. Even though the car didn't even move because we all waited on the left. Oh well, fast food, that's all. Lol. Unfortunately, one of many mecces that don't consider hygiene that important or are understaffed? Often uncleaned or poorly cleaned tables, chairs, and floors. The MC Drive-In often has discrepancies, which unfortunately you only notice at home because a quick glance in the bags looks fine. The food suffers accordingly... Full, yes, one star for that. Bravo... Update May 2025: It's crazy that the McDonald's logo is still allowed to hang there. As always, the order is incomplete, I know I shouldn't eat there anymore, it was late and a mistake. A mini bunk was used for the Royal, the toilets or the functioning rest of them drive the spit directly into the daylight via the feeding hatch. The restaurant is getting dirtier and dirtier. I'll just get food in the drive. The floor is greasy throughout the store. Even the seat cushions are shiny with grease and tables are often dirty. Every time I'm looking for a clean place to sit. The friendliness is also average. Maybe the employees have to work under high pressure and stress.

The only thing to complain about was the toilets and rightly so, 2 of the 3 toilets were covered with blue bags and the only one that was left, you couldn't queue properly because there was urine everywhere. Even next to the wall. I mean, McDonald's can't do that, but cleaning it every now and then wouldn't be bad.

I ride my bike often, and the trash I find on the side of the road is McDonald's food packaging. There are many other fast food chains, but they don't leave litter on the road... Of course, I collect it and then throw it in the trash, but that's not my job. It seems that people of low social status who do not observe basic order eat at McDonald's. I have now given the store a total of 5 chances to do better. Unfortunately, the same problems keep occurring. Food always comes to the table lukewarm and the orders are not prepared to standard. Furthermore, the conditions in terms of cleanliness are extremely poor. To keep your hands clean, there was always no soap after going to the toilet. All in all, I simply cannot and will not recommend this branch. I don't think it's in the company's best interests to run a branch like that.

Order on January 16, 2025 at noon via app, pick up at MC Drive. After I entered the order code at the order point. I got the singo to drive to the second window. Afterwards there was something incomprehensible in very broken German. At the second window I was instructed to continue driving, in good German, unfortunately very unfriendly. This older lady was also responsible for bringing the orders to the vehicles. Apparently forced. This unfriendliness could not be surpassed. To others and also to me, this woman answered in a mushy, cheeky and bold way. Nothing like this has ever happened to me.

It's just a McDonald's but the service is just too nice and even asks you if everything is OK. Great performance, that's what I wish for all McDonald's.
