One of the good branches. A clean overall impression. Clean tables, no trash on the floor. Fast service. Great!

My review after the renovation of the McDonald's near Einum (Hildesheim): Unfortunately, the McDonald's near Einum has declined significantly since the renovation. It used to be one of my favorite locations, but now there are several things that make visiting unpleasant. The restrooms are no longer as clean as they used to be, and there are no disinfectant wipes. The flowers on the tables, which used to be fresh and created a nice atmosphere, are either gone or look old and wilted. You can also tell that many of the staff are new – they often forget things. For example, I wanted to order a cappuccino but only received a regular coffee. I couldn't complain, so I had to drink it with a lot of creamer. In winter, the seats right by the entrance are very uncomfortable because it's constantly drafty and cold. Furthermore, there's a lot of congestion in the middle of the restaurant because many people gather at the ordering kiosks. This feels disorganized and makes the experience unpleasant. Overall, the location has clearly lost quality after the renovation – in terms of service, cleanliness, and atmosphere. It's a shame; it used to be one of the best McDonald's in Hildesheim.

Standard McDonald's experience. The order was processed quickly. The restaurant and restrooms were clean and tidy.

The McDonald's app redemption keeps failing. No help is being offered. No improvements to the technology are being made. I've never had this problem at any other McDonald's, only here.

Average quality. However, I received the wrong food.

This is the third time I've received the wrong order. I ordered a Royal TS burger and received a Chicken Crisp burger. The packaging said Royal TS, but that wasn't what was inside. I expect more care when packing the burgers. I only noticed the mistake when I got home. Very annoying!

Forgetting 20 nuggets and a burger and then being rude when complaining.

Once again, ordered items are NOT being packed; they're simply forgotten! And NO, you shouldn't be required to check your order after the McDrive. Are your employees not capable of reading orders and packing them completely?? There are even training courses!

What's to be praised: The consistent quality and ease of use. No matter where you are, the concept works. For a quick snack or a quick stop on the go, it's simply convenient and reliable.

If you're looking for something fast and reliable, McDonald's is usually a safe bet. The quality is similar everywhere, and you know exactly what you're getting. On my last visit, the restaurant was well-maintained, the atmosphere calm, and the service friendly. Ordering was quick, and the food arrived hot and fresh. The fries were crispy, the burger was well-prepared, and everything was neatly packaged. I find the digital ordering kiosks particularly useful – uncomplicated and modern. Even during busy times, everything runs relatively smoothly, and you can tell the staff is trying to remain friendly despite the stress. The prices are reasonable and absolutely fine for a quick bite to eat. Overall, a positive impression – not fine dining, but exactly what you want from McDonald's: fast, uncomplicated, and reliable.

McDonald's remains McDonald's – reliable, uncomplicated, and just the thing when you don't want to experiment but are simply hungry.

Update: After the renovation, I'll only give it three stars. Less space, less comfortable. Strange concept. ---- Best McDonald's in the area. The food is always hot, and no mistakes have been made so far. Cleanliness could be improved at times, but it's a high standard for McDonald's.

There are real flowers on the tables. Everything is very clean! Friendly service.

The employees are very nice, the store is clean, the atmosphere is great, and the lady who looks like Ozzy Osbourne is my favorite and served me very well at the checkout. ;-) Thumbs up.

🥶 A quick but ice-cold disappointment I visited this McDonald's on Saturday evening and was disappointed by the experience. My order was served extremely quickly, which was initially a positive. Unfortunately, the entire meal was cold. Both the fries and the wrap were only lukewarm to cold, which greatly diminished the enjoyment. What was particularly annoying was that I wasn't the only one: Several other customers complained about cold food at the counter at the same time. This indicates a clear problem with the food service or storage. Quality assurance urgently needs to be improved here, because fast food shouldn't automatically mean cold food.

Check your orders if you're ordering takeout! We were often missing burgers or chicken nuggets from our orders! Unfortunately, the commute is too far to make the return trip. Once, everything in our order was included. (Or so we thought.) When biting into the burger, my husband noticed that the patty was missing. It's a real shame, especially when you see that there were very few customers and you just wanted to grab a quick bite to go... The location is really great if you want to grab a quick bite to eat on your way home or while passing through. But we won't be coming back for a while.

Expensive, don't understand what the appeal is of mac do

Since the renovation, waiters and pickup staff have been getting in each other's way. The two auto-order kiosks are completely useless, as the window counters aren't keeping up. You should check your order meticulously, otherwise you'll end up back home with all the stuff and have to listen to them complaining about the lack of sauces and dips. For example, the Mario with the fries was missing, and the tips for the nuggets weren't included, and of course, the Fanta promotion counts as well. In short, they're all overwhelmed.

The food was delicious. There was no sign of fast food, though. We waited 35 minutes for our order despite the lack of business, asking questions, and the manager's constant, audible encouragement. Therefore, it's unfortunately not suitable for a quick rest.

We honestly had to wait 37 minutes for our order. There weren't many people in front of us. Everyone had to wait forever for their orders. We won't be coming back here around 6 p.m. It's a shame. The restaurant, however, is very nice and clean!

A really great McDonald's with very friendly staff. Everything was really quick, and the store itself was very clean.

Unfortunately, since the renovation, it's not as cozy as it was before. The decor and seating feel more like those of a kindergarten. It also feels like there are fewer seats than before. The specially designated parking spaces for buses are also completely unnecessary, as the McDonald's is located right next to a truck stop.

The fresh flowers on all the tables were very positive and immediately caught the eye. They made the fast-food restaurant feel a bit more upscale. The service was friendly and attentive. Any mess was cleaned promptly. The tables could be cleaned a bit more often. A microwave for heating baby food and a separate diaper pail with a lid in the family restroom would be great. Otherwise, this McDonald's is very good compared to others.

Clean, neat, fast..tastes like any other

The employees were completely overwhelmed. Even though there were only about 10 people in the store, during the time I waited (15 minutes) three orders were incorrectly placed, and finally, my order was forgotten.

Awesome! They even have plant-based vegan chocolate ice cream! I haven't seen anything like it in a year!

Apparently it was recently renovated, because the entire store is ultra-modern and clean. I don't think the nuggets have ever been this good/fresh, definitely worth a visit!

We ate here as a family today on the way home from vacation. I have to give it my all. I've never eaten at a cleaner and more appealing McDonald's. The employees were extremely friendly, and what I personally particularly appreciated were fresh flowers on every table and even in the restroom. Thank you so much, you really made a 13-hour drive more pleasant :)

Located directly off the A7, it's ideal for avoiding a motorway service station 😉 Very pleasant atmosphere. There are vases of fresh flowers on the tables and by the sinks in the clean (!) restrooms. All the staff are friendly. Highly recommended!

I've been there twice, and they were the best Megges visits of my life. Very friendly staff, good atmosphere, and they served matcha.

We only bought three cappuccinos at McCafe and ate our own rolls. The main reason for our stop at McDonald's near the truck stop in Hildesheim was the EWE Go DC charging station right there. The restaurant itself was OK, and the restrooms were surprisingly clean...! 👍

I've been there several times, and the outside area is never cleaned. The tables are always dirty. Very unhygienic! What a shame!

Stopped there for a refueling stop while traveling from north to south. Very pleasant atmosphere upon entering. The sliding door pleasantly surprised me. Clean restrooms and friendly staff. There's no other McDonald's in Germany with such good service, such clean seats, such friendly and helpful staff, and such deliciously prepared food. It's also worth a visit because of its convenient location (A7 - B1). We plan our stops here whenever possible.

A disaster. The toilets have no soap, no paper, no towels, and are filthy. This is really only a temporary solution.

I ordered an iced matcha latte, which tasted like fish. They didn't want to offer me a substitute drink. It was terrible.

Unfortunately, it is no longer as clean as it was before the renovation. I took my kids to this McDonald's especially because everything used to be perfect for us. It was clean, the restrooms were clean too, there were even fresh flowers on the tables. Of course, that's not necessary in a fast food restaurant, but it shows that someone puts a lot of thought into cleanliness and the well-being of their customers. Unfortunately, that was once the case, now McDonald's is like many others. Rather unloved and the restrooms, well, as always I'd say, and on top of that there were loads of flies in the toilet. Perhaps there was a change of ownership? At one point two employees just stood around, chatted briefly, and then they just stood there staring into space. It was really bizarre, there was definitely plenty to do... What a shame about the "old" McDonald's there!

Visually appealing. Food was prepared quickly. BUT the toilets are absolutely disgusting. The dirt is old. Even the walls are smeared with feces. Disgusting!

The butter croissants we ordered were fresh and delicious. The men's restrooms were clean and tidy. One lockable restroom was broken that day, so a small line formed for the other restroom.

Really dirty toilets, we didn't get a single dish of what we ordered and so we ordered Latte, mc toast and pancakes for breakfast!

It was very busy, and I had to wait a long time for the food. Even so, the burger was very cold.

A clean McDonald's and easy to reach by car. The employees were friendly, but some of the clothing wasn't very clean. The food wasn't particularly appetizing for the restaurant, especially the new "Around the World" range. The Japanese Cola tasted very chemical, and the Peri Peri sauce wasn't particularly good either. The nuggets were standard, but a bit soft and firm, as were the lattice fries. The regular fries looked a bit bland. Otherwise, it's a solid place.

In my opinion, the atmosphere has deteriorated since the renovation, but even worse are the constant price increases; the price of the fish mac alone is an absolute disgrace.

We drive a long way to eat here rather than at the nearby branch. Unlike some other branches, the food is hot, and there's usually nothing missing. Recently, an employee even went back to each table that received an order to ask if everything was OK. You usually only see that in traditional restaurants. Keep it up!

If I could give the service a minus one, I would. McDonald's is essentially fast food, but if you have to wait 20 minutes for an ice cream, something is wrong. Rude employees. The staff is completely overwhelmed. Table service doesn't work, so I have to pick up my ice cream myself. It's a shame because this location was still decent before the renovations.

Unbelievable... there was a breakfast wrap. To go. That's why I couldn't complain in person. I've never seen or tasted anything like it. Cold, soggy, not filled properly. Disgusting. The coffee was good as always. Next time, I'd rather get a sandwich from Aral across the street.

It's been remodeled again, and I think the result is quite successful! The food and service were fine, just a classic McDonald's. The only criticism: I found the ice cream very, very watery, but I don't know if that's always the case.

Absolute garbage. Something's always wrong, every time. How can you pack two of three burgers incorrectly? Never again. The Coke lid was open and everything spilled in the car. It's sick that they even charge for this. Never again.

Where has the former service team gone? When I placed my order, I was confronted with the staff's complete lack of knowledge. The finished tray sat on the counter for several minutes. When it finally made its way to me, everything was unfortunately only lukewarm. Unfortunately, the same was true of the drink. At 37 degrees Celsius, there wasn't even any ice. So, don't forget to put it in your drink... There simply wasn't any. Eating with joy is a different story. Sorry, but sometimes you should just leave things as they were. Everyone deserves a second chance, of course. Maybe things will get better, but my patience is limited.

It's just McDonald's, what can you expect? The prices are rising, the burgers are getting smaller, and the fries weren't salted enough. The only positive thing was the nice man at the cash register, who did a great job. All in all, if you want a quick burger to go, yes, otherwise, there are much better burgers in Hildesheim for less/the same price.

It was simply rude there. I wanted to pay in cash (a valid payment method), and on my way to the checkout, a very rude person pulled McTeam by my arm without even speaking to me. Just push the customer through the store. It was much nicer before the renovations, and the staff were much more respectable. That was probably the last time I was there. Nope.

I had to wait 20 minutes for my food. At a fast food restaurant, hello. Greetings, the food was good.

No, an absolute NO! Even if no one is talking about coronavirus anymore, I still expect a minimum of hygiene. There wasn't a single wiped-down table outside. They were cleared, and I thought they would be wiped down, but the good man didn't even have a rag with him. I'm clearly no longer part of the target audience, otherwise the benches would have backrests, which I would have liked to use after a strenuous party. I won't even start on the ordering machines; I've been cursing them for years! The numbers for table service had already been removed, and they're no longer available - okay, still the same price! Honestly, any restaurant would be bankrupt in eight weeks, but MD's obviously wasn't. I think that was my last visit there.

I was there again yesterday. After the renovation, the entire design that was so good there was destroyed. The food was cold and the fries weren't cooked properly. This McDonald's has lost all its qualities due to the renovation, which is a shame.

I have no idea what they've done here, but the renovation is awful. Not only does it now look completely uncomfortable (for a McDonald's) and make you think you've landed in some hipster bar with stools instead of proper seating, but you now have to wait FOREVER for your food. Could be the new "double McDonald's." They might not have been able to process their orders properly before. Absolutely terrible.
