Everything is bad. We bought nuggets for my son today and he said they tasted strange. Now my child has stomach pains and diarrhea. The health department needs to be called.

I placed the order via the Lieferando app, after 1.5 hours of waiting and no contact with the restaurant (phone turned off), the order was canceled.

I went to McDonald's again today for the first time and was immediately disappointed. The place is filthy everywhere. The burgers all fall apart when you pick them up; that's unacceptable.

Just like McDonald's. No better or worse.

Unfortunately, I'm very disappointed. I've been going to this McDonald's for years, but lately the quality has declined significantly. The food is often cold, orders are incomplete, and the staff seem stressed and unfriendly. I used to really enjoy going here, but right now, nothing's right. But maybe nostalgia is just taking over, and the place has always been this creepy.

No checking to see if the correct number is on the receipt! Numbers are shouted out in annoyance. When you then wonder where the food is after 20 minutes because someone just took it, and the children are then accused of being liars, it's really sad. It's getting worse and worse.

Tried the delivery service, was scammed. Food was lukewarm and absolutely tasteless. Tried to contact them, but their German was broken and they had no idea. Stay away.

You don't get what you ordered and paid for!

You order food, wait for over an hour, then call them and they tell you it's not coming and you've already paid... and this is the second time now... on top of that they can't even speak German... a complete mess, a ruined evening... they're all cunts!!

I'm part of the older generation and enjoy going to McDonald's every now and then. But... I've never seen such a filthy place.

Employees are very disrespectful. They look at you as if they want to hit you and speak in their language and insult people who are there. Unfortunately the food is not warm or the fries are not freshly prepared. You get fries that have been standing for over 30 minutes and there were 2 hairs in the burger. I showed the employee and she speaks in their language and looks at me like a car.

Unfortunately, this needs improvement. Wait times after ordering are unfortunately too long; 20 minutes is unfortunately too long for a fast-food restaurant. In the drive-thru, they play Tetris with the cars, telling the employees to position themselves. There is no drive-through to the next window. On the positive side, I've always received hot and fresh food. If the wait wasn't so long, I'd give it 4 stars.

The employees have absolutely no will to live, the food is brutally disgusting. And if there's ever a problem, you're treated like an idiot. Actually, the worst store I've ever been to. MC Drive is also absolutely terrible; everyone drives and parks like they've only had their license for two days. Get one of those crappy microwave burgers from Aldi; you'll get much better value out of it.

The floor in the store was sticky, and I had a hard time communicating with the waitress behind the counter. You should have a sufficient knowledge of German.

The floor in front of the cash register was very slippery and covered in kitchen grease. Despite the doormat facing the kitchen. But slippery floors are a known problem at McDonald's. *Update 07.09.2025…. Once again, the same old excuse… the ice cream machine is broken… Friends, come up with something new. It's just sickening when you even know you're being lied to! Sorry… just irritating.

The food was completely cold and soggy, the staff completely unfriendly and disrespectful. The owner of this McDonald's chats with customers and delights in insulting and humiliating them in a disrespectful manner (he was involved in it). I advise customers never to eat there!!! Instead, use your time and go to the McDonald's in Lebenstedt. A person like that shouldn't be running a business :)

Last shit mill 1 hour waiting for food

Absolute crap. The food is okay, but the delivery is a complete mess. Two things were missing from my order. I called them, and they said they'd deliver them. Over three hours later, I still haven't received anything, and I keep calling, and suddenly no one answers. €10.50 down the drain. And all I wanted was my McFlurry :/

The food is okay, but some of the employees are almost always very disrespectful and unfriendly. They constantly talk to each other, and you wait up to 10 minutes at the checkout JUST to pay. It really puts you off coming back.

Next time someone forgets something on the ice cream and you point it out, it would be nice if the dark-haired lady didn't roll her eyes. After all, it wasn't our fault. Customer service doesn't even get a 1-star rating.

The store used to be OK. It's deteriorated over the years. The management is now an absolute joke. The entire store is filthy, and the entire staff hangs out behind the counter. Private conversations are more important here than the customers.

Phew! It would be nice if the waitress could speak German. Overcharged, received the wrong food, and then rude to boot. At least the restaurant was clean.

Simply disgusting. The health department should look into this. We ordered from the drive-thru today, and the burger bun was moldy. No wonder people are getting stomach bugs here in droves.

You'll probably rarely wait longer at a McDonald's than here. A 15-minute wait at the drive-in counter before you can place your online order. A two-tiered line of cars at the pickup counter, and then they forgot to bring a McCrispy for delivery, which you only notice on the way there, as you have to keep the exit clear for others. Unfortunately, this isn't your first bad experience! It was definitely the last time I went there.

I've been to this McDonald's several times, and every time it's been a disaster! The entire place is consistently dirty, the tables are sticky, the floor is littered with trash and napkins, and I don't even want to start talking about the cleanliness of the restrooms. It's certainly not hygienic. The worst thing, though, is the staff. Unfriendly, irritated, and sometimes downright disrespectful. I've witnessed customers being laughed at or commented on behind their backs several times—absolutely unprofessional! You don't feel welcome or well served. The most disgusting McDonald's restaurant I've ever been to.

Never, never, never again!!! It's DISGUSTING AND DANGEROUS! A friend got food poisoning here, and honestly, I'm not surprised at all. The place is completely filthy, it smells absolutely disgusting, and just walking in takes away your appetite. The employees are completely disorganized, unfriendly, and seem completely overwhelmed. Tables outside are not cleaned and stray cats are even tolerated and petted by the staff. I don't think hygiene is a priority here. Maybe they should inform the public order office. I've had a lot of experiences with McDonald's, but today's was the worst. I had to clean the table first and then this cat walked over the tables and sat down🙈🙈🙈 Another guest took the cat with him because he thought it was too dangerous out on the street. It's nice that he has a heart for animals. Maybe it escaped from the nearby animal shelter. Whatever, I don't recommend this McDonald's 😡😡😡

Since there was hardly anything going on this evening, we were hoping for warm food, but unfortunately we were totally disappointed. Food completely cold, fries limp, cheeseburger stone hard. The last hope was the cheesecake, which was always good, but this time it was more than disappointing. The cake was completely frozen, as if it had just been taken out of the freezer. There is at least 1 star for the nice employees.

I am a person who always rates fairly, but the food is really the worst of the bad. If you want to eat burgers then I definitely recommend a burger restaurant. They can show McDonald's how to properly prepare burgers. That was the last time I ate there!

Unfortunately, very, very long waiting times, we had to wait up to half an hour for a relatively small order. The staff was very slow in preparation and seemed somewhat disorganized, and guests who had ordered the food to eat in the restaurant were given priority. We should have been warned after reading other reviews... gastrointestinal effect from this restaurant etc. Unfortunately we had already ordered our food and didn't want to make a fuss. Not recommended. Then it's better to order a pizza from the restaurant you trust. You have to know.

I had to wait a very long time for my 3 apple turnovers. There were 2 x 5 pieces of apple turnovers being baked. There were still fresh ones left. They wanted to pack the old ones for me. The ones that were next to the fries.

I would prefer not to give a star at all. I hadn't eaten there for many years and things have changed for the worse. Tables dirty, then wiped them down myself. Floor dirty, toilets a disaster. You especially don't want to eat here with children. It's a shame, it used to be always clean there.

My daughter and I contracted a gastrointestinal infection while eating here. Avoid eating here. It is clear to me that they are not preserving the food properly.

The worst McDonald's I've seen! Service doesn't even deserve half a star. Always something broken, not available or something else. You are often simply forgotten at the table and wait in vain for your order. You order caramel 3 times but you only get 1 portion in the ice cream. Unfortunately!

You should do this McDonald's in Salzgitter Bad, the delivery service doesn't work at all. Something is forgotten every time, I ask myself how you can hire such staff who don't do their job properly. We don't expect much from fast food chains but here we were overcome with disgust. The floor was full of rubbish, tables and seats were sticky, and the food was barely edible. The women's toilet was particularly disgusting. It smelled like severe diarrhea there, so I wasn't the only one who almost puked. When asked about the grievances, the staff reacted negatively. “It just stinks” isn’t her problem. The men's toilet was also very dirty. It's a miracle that this store survives at all.

The entire dining room is not heated, 1st orders are completely cold. Both were returned, then at least we got hot fries, the burger was still cold after being "freshly" prepared. Seems to be the first restaurant that allows cold cooking. Never going to this store again.

The McDonalds in Salzgitter-Bad is like many others. When it comes to food, I give it 3 stars because otherwise it would simply be unfair to restaurants that don't serve fast food. But everything was fine!!! What I can't understand is that so many tables remain dirty even though four employees are standing behind the counter telling each other stories. It was about 10:20 p.m. and there was another table occupied. The garbage was in front of the tray cart and no one seemed interested in cleaning it up. For this reason I can only give it 2 stars... Even in a fast food restaurant, customers can expect a minimum level of cleanliness.

I have no idea what problems some people have. I found it clean, young woman was nice. Food tasted good.

We ordered a menu that had juice which we didn't even get, we paid for it, the food was cold.

I have to admit I've never had any problems with the MC Drive, always nice staff and food always in the bag. This time, however, I was in the shop itself. The burgers were warm and fresh...but the fries had no salt. When I asked at the counter, they simply placed 2 bags of salt and a bag of pepper on the counter with a grim face and without any apology and turned around again. Customer service looks different.

After a long time we went back to McDonald’s. Unfortunately we were disappointed. Ordering on the display worked, but we couldn't pay there. So we had to go to the checkout and the employees seemed hopelessly overwhelmed. We waited quite a long time to be able to pay. Then waited quite a long time for the order. When the food finally came, the fries we ordered were missing, but were prepared promptly. Unfortunately they weren't really tasty, they were very limp. An employee helped my son with the heavy tray, which I thought was really nice. The floor and toilets were really dirty, rather disgustingly dirty. I expect this to be different from a restaurant, no matter what type. Of course, the behavior of customers must also be taken into account. Terrible! The tables were okay. It would be nice to wipe it over. To date, if anything at all, we have picked up something at the drive-thru. Now McDonald’s won’t be seeing us again for a while.

It's the worst Mc D in all of Germany. I haven't had a worse experience. Almost everyone! Something is missing from the order. Staff is usually unfriendly and overwhelmed. The food is cold. Apparently it had been there for a while. The shop is very dirty inside. If only that would at least fit. Too bad.

Extremely disappointing experience at McDonald's My last visit to the McDonald's restaurant in Salzgitter-Bad was an absolute disaster. Despite the low number of customers, I had to wait over 30 minutes for my order. This is completely unacceptable for a fast food restaurant and shows shocking inefficiency. The employees seemed completely overwhelmed and disorganized, which only made the situation worse. To make matters worse, two burgers were missing from my order, which increased the annoyance immeasurably. It's really disappointing that a company as big as McDonald's has such basic service problems. I will definitely not recommend this restaurant and hope that McDonald's urgently works on improving its operations and customer service to avoid such miserable experiences in the future.

Even 1 star is still too much. The worst McDonald's I know. Endless waiting times. Even if you are the only customer. Complaints will not be addressed. You even have to check the burgers in the boxes here. Ordered Royal TS. Get cheeseburgers in a pack of Royal Cheese with a sticker for a Royal TS. Even today on September 27th, 2024 it was not possible to receive the ordered goods. 3 cheeseburgers were missing. All you can do is puke.

As is often the case, not all of the items are put in the bag to take home. I can only advise you to check the checkout counter every time, because this is not an exception, but part of the daily routine, always not delivering one or two items. Even if it's delicious, forgetting a whole french fry, a few napkins, cheeseburgers instead of hamburgers, these are not rare exceptions.

McDonald's urgently needs to adjust its prices. Other companies offer much better for the same money.

The breakfast was quite tasty. I was told that ordering via the app and paying via PayPal didn't work. So I paid in cash and had to go back later because PayPal had deducted the amount. Lots of staff and still a long waiting time. The shop was neat and clean, at half past nine in the morning.

Actually, we should have been warned by the previous reviews. Among other things, it says that the store is always completely dirty and unappetizing. And that's exactly how it was today. We actually wanted to eat here, but that wasn't possible because not one of the tables was unclean or otherwise dirty. Garbage and remnants of previous use are everywhere. Three employees stood together and discussed, but no one was able to wipe down one of the tables. An absolute disaster and not recommended.

Almost nothing here, the waiting time for 2 menus is extremely long, making it yourself takes just as long. You can only order via the app and even then everything has to be checked to make sure everything is correct. For example, I ordered Mc Flurry Milka frozen yogurt at the drive and got milk ice cream/milk soup with chocolate drops. You can at least give 2 or 3 wipes to take with you. Great puzzle as to which drink is in where because no one uses the marker. When you're there, I understand that you don't get a straw for your drinks (without asking) but in the car with these soft cups??
