McDonald's in Ratingen

The fries were standing in the place for a very long time, all our fries were cold once we got them. One of the staff members was also constantly eating fries while waiting and walking around, very unprofessional. Everything did look quite clean.

Way too expensive commercial shit... Went because all the good eateries were closed Haven't been since Covid...and don't plan on going again often

Yesterday I ate a double pack menu and have had a stomach ache since last night and have never been really sick again. The nuggets were old and inedible. I'm now going to the hospital.

I did my training here, Mr. Pruente, it's sad what this store has become. First of all we had to wait forever for our order (there was nothing going on) then our fries were forgotten and they were supposed to be brought upstairs, you could tell from the shift manager that that wasn't going to happen! So in the end we had to pick them up ourselves when we went to the checkout. It seemed like it was done on purpose so that no one had to move. You really don't need to go there anymore (visit Thursday around 9 p.m.)

The devices don't work. Paying with your card or scanning the points simply doesn't work

Hey people , Now I've really had enough of this McDonald's in Ratingen. I've always loved going there but it's getting worse and worse. I usually get something to go and they just can't seem to get my order right. The last 6 times my food was wrong, unfortunately only noticed when you got home. They always pack the bags so full that you can't look inside without all the fries that are on top falling to the floor.....it's starting to get strange. Even when I complained that the burger was flat, I had to wait 20 minutes for a new one that had probably been ready for 15 minutes and when I asked, it was simply handed to me without an apology and of course no longer fresh. Special orders are labeled correctly on the burger but are not implemented. Last time a burger was missing. And I was able to observe how one employee grabbed another's crotch and then happily continued to prepare the food with his hands. I'm a foreigner myself and I really can't hear how the employees talk anymore when customers are there... Hey dude, go to the gym... I swear... But she's hot... But the word alter is their favorite word. I'd rather go somewhere else where the politeness and service are better.

The drive in employee is just cheeky and should not be let loose on customers.

Unfortunately, the closers on the doors in the entrance area are broken, so it was very drafty at the tables in this part of the restaurant. The food itself got cold very quickly.

The self-service terminals are extremely sluggish and slow. The food was prepared quickly, but unfortunately both of the BigMacs were only lukewarm. At first glance, the atmosphere is modern. The men's toilet is extremely narrow. There are nicer and more well-maintained McDonalds!

The branch as a whole is rather old and unkempt, no sugar can be ordered with the drinks, very old ordering machines with errors, slow service, no lactose-free milk, no real cups etc. which is standard in better branches

The employees are totally overwhelmed. First a chicken burger was missing from an order, then you go to the table and notice that the ham is missing from the McCrispy bacon. So go downstairs and let us know. Employees totally unfriendly and slapped the ham on the burger and that was it. And instead of spit nuggets, I only get regular chicken nuggets. So this shop is not recommended.

The worst McD I've ever visited... After waiting for 40 minutes, we learned that the order from the machine had not gone through. The order was then brought to the table incomplete and incorrectly. All the basic products were there, but the right sauce was missing, there was one too many large fries and a drink was one size too big. But I don't want to complain about that. The cleanliness of the restaurant also left a lot to be desired. Dirty and littered tables created the opposite of a pleasant atmosphere. According to companions, the toilets are also a "-0.5". I know we're talking about a press chick chemical cocktail place, but certain standards should be adhered to.

I agree with previous reviews that little things are occasionally forgotten. However, in my opinion it is also the customer's responsibility to briefly check the order. If you report the error in a friendly manner, you will usually receive what is missing immediately. A bug that is fixed immediately is therefore no reason for me to leave a very bad review. After all, small mishaps can happen to anyone. If the bacon burger is missing bacon, a little more attention from the employee would be desirable. I would like to say a lot of praise to Ms. Ziebel, who always welcomes us at the drive-in with a smile and her friendly manner. Your joy in your work is clearly noticeable and deserves recognition. You notice immediately when she's not there. The branch in Ratingen would have deserved a little more commitment from employees and management. Even small improvements could be clearly reflected in the reviews.

Absolute disaster! The fries were totally soggy, the burger buns were completely oily, and to top it all off, the “Big Tasty Bacon Burger” was missing the onions, the cheese, the tomatoes and of course the bacon!!!???

Was there for the last time today!!! Definitely. Every time I order at the drive-thru, trust and don't check straight away, I am disappointed and something is missing again. That's why I can now eat nuggets without sauce and fries without mayo again, very cool -.- - Always check straight away to see if something is missing, my tip for you. And unfortunately I really mean always.- It actually happened that several burgers didn't have any meat patties on them, no joke. One in four cheeseburgers had patties on them. I brought two of them to my mother. That was embarrassing... And there was nothing going on, I was there at half past eleven at night. There's no reason why you could forget something if you're not attentive. The overly friendly person at the checkout doesn't help me when half of the items are missing. And I don't want to be called "my dear" either! It's always best to go to the one on Mercedesstr. in Düsseldorf. They never forget anything. Very exemplary. 🥰🙏

Children wanted to go to McDonalds again, so let them have fun. It really wasn't good. Staff is hectic and obviously overwhelmed with the orders. First, I forgot a complete Happy Meal, then the addition and when I got home I realized that the chicken version had been packed instead of the additional plant-based nuggets I had ordered. The veggie in the family rightly didn't find it funny. But it was surprisingly expensive for two adults and two small children - for the same price you could have gotten dessert at the Italian restaurant around the corner.

The restaurant is centrally located to other restaurants. The ambience inside is good and big. The toilets are very narrow and a bit dirty. Half of the orders are always forgotten. The employees should actually be aware that it is stressful, but are a bit unfriendly. The restaurant manager isn't the friendliest either. Tip: Don't eat here during peak times, e.g. Sundays.

McDonald's branches are very different. In the Ratingen branch you wonder where the MC Donald service concept and the trained staff have gone. At first I couldn't find any bacon on my Tasty Bacon Burger. Finally I discovered a mini piece. The whole thing tastes so mushy because of the sauce that I only ate it because I was hungry. The staff was rude and obviously hated the job. It's very unfortunate that we left 20 euros there. Any currywurst, any kebab would have been better.

Just bought an Iced Coffee Caramel Shake. For almost 5 euros..... 40 percent ice cream in the cup... and there is no ice in there!!!!

Take a look and see if everything is in there!!! I've already driven twice with less than I thought!!! Now it happened to me again that the order was booked but didn't arrive at McDonalds. I had to book back via paypal... that sucks.

Why are there always trays dripping with moisture?

Gibt jedesmal Probleme bei meiner Bestellung. Einmal Big Morning Chicken statt Farmer bekommen. Tage danach statt Cappuccino einfachen Kaffee bekommen. In beiden Fällen wurde mir ein völlig überhöhter Preis genannt, gibt immer unnötige Diskussionen, weil Bedienung nicht zuhören kann oder die Aktionen nicht kennt. Immer bei der gleichen Bedienung bestellt, zuletzt am 04.09.

Totally overwhelmed staff. The McDonald's was very busy and accordingly there were long queues at the self-order terminals. Ordering at the counter was also a long process. It took almost 30 minutes from ordering to receiving. Then the fries were cold and without salt, ketchup was forgotten even though ordered and napkins were missing. It was also very warm in the restaurant (the air conditioning wasn't working at all), the tables were dirty and some of them hadn't been cleared.

Guys, it's annoying! Yesterday around 10:10 p.m. waited 25 minutes (!) in McDrive, completely tired, just wanted to go home and eat something, a super friendly woman in service. Unfortunately, I let her behavior persuade me not to check the bag again before driving away. Then realized the fries were missing from the menu. Hey, that's a single price of over €4! I went to sleep hungry and upset.

Ordered a lot today and supposedly delivered between 25 and 40 minutes via Uber and paid for via PayPal. Unfortunately the food never arrived! Call McDonald's and tell them to contact Uber, but that doesn't work. I would like to give minus 10 stars, but that's not possible!!!

Wed 8 p.m. Pretty empty, ordered online at the door, went in, took the bag with me. I've never finished faster. It was delicious again.

I've been eating here for over 20 years and am increasingly disappointed with the service and quality. Compared to other branches in the area, the fries and burgers are often cold. As a result, it just doesn't taste as good as expected. I really like the ambience, as long as it stays clean and isn't too crowded downstairs. The staff is dubious, slow and not particularly friendly. You often wait up to 10 minutes and then receive cold food because something is missing or simply takes too long. Unfortunately there is no table service either. This time I tried the new Burger M with a double McChicken Classic, Hamburger Royal TS and ChickenNuggets. The burgers this time were very tasty and hot because I ordered extras. The fries were cold again. 15 minutes waiting time is a bit too much.

Have been there 3 times now at different times, each time it was noticeably completely dirty. Orders are prepared incorrectly and late. Since there were a lot of staff there, there seemed to be a lack of organization. Not recommended. We don't go there anymore for hygiene reasons.

25 minutes in McDrive despite pre-ordering in the app. No information on how long it takes. Then not everything has been given out and when you ask you just get a “no, it can’t be”. Stood in the drive-thru for 5 minutes today and wasn't served. Then I went in and most of the employees were chatting - apparently no one wanted to take the microphone. Unfortunately, the burgers weren't as good as in other branches, very disappointing. We no longer visit this branch.

Slowly but surely it's turning out to be one of the worst branches there is. 9 out of 10 orders are missing something. Orders via Uber Eats are probably not completely handed over, complaints are impossible, you have to contact Uber. Sorry, but YOU are the ones who screw up giving properly packed bags. If you don't feel like doing your job properly, that can't be our problem. This certainly doesn't affect all employees...there are good ones among you too. But if two customers in front of me have complained in McDrive because parts are missing again, you should think about checking the bags. Waiting times on the drive are underground. You order 2 cheeseburgers and stand at the counter for 15 minutes, regardless of whether the store is full or empty. Staff is friendly - there's no question about it. But if you order 5 items, just manage to actually throw 5 into the bag.

First of all, no receipt with a collection number was swallowed by the printer. Secondly, got the wrong burgers. And again the fries not salted. It doesn't work at all. Never here again 😖

Mmm, the toilets were dirty. The terminal for ordering was extremely slow and didn't take our debit card or credit card. So pay for your order at the counter where the EC card was only taken the second time. All in all, the structure was appealing, but the rest wasn't ideal for us.

We came here for dinner yesterday with our 8-month-old baby. First, all the food was cold. When we asked if they could heat up our baby's food, that was not possible and finally all the toilet paper was gone in the toilets. After my wife reported this to the staff, no action was taken. We had to wait a long time for our order, about 20 minutes. Orders are prepared by the staff and placed in a warming table where everything was laid out - 10-20 burgers etc. Even after a long wait, we got a lukewarm double cheeseburger that was cold after 3 bites! Unbelievable, although at some point McDonalds was definitely supposed to only serve freshly made warm food! Just like it's been a given in Holland or the UK for years. You can get delicious hot burgers and fries there even after waiting. But I'd rather wait and it's hot. Everything isn't worth the price either. I think the McDonalds are allowed to do anything here in Germany.

Extrem schlechter Service, sehr lange Wartezeit am McDrive und auch drinnen im Restaurant. Mein McMenü (Standard) hat über 30 Min gebraucht. Außerdem gibt es anscheinend neue Mitarbeiter, die schlecht Deutsch verstehen.

When you stand at the front the employee says "just a moment please" and you are only allowed to order 10 minutes later... If you're hungry, it's better to go somewhere else.
