The food is okay, but the cleanliness is a real disappointment.

Chubby girl with reddish-blonde hair, extremely annoyed and unfriendly. Too lazy for her job; she should change her behavior. Customers shouldn't have to put up with such impossible behavior. Not recommended.

The toilets were completely filthy and disgusting.

Never any toys included with the Happy Meal. Disappointing. No matter what time of day or night, the wait is endless. It seems they've cut kitchen staff, completely missing the point of a fast-food restaurant. The wait is regularly between 15 and 30 minutes.

We were standing in front of McDonald's at midnight, and it was supposed to close at 1:00, but we found the doors locked. What a dump!

No changing facilities, even on request - no more than 1* is possible.

On the evening of September 19, 2025, I placed an order for approximately €110, but several products were missing. When I complained, the shift supervisor accused me of being a liar, even asked me to provide proof of PayPal, and treated me extremely rudely. Only after discussion did I receive the products I had paid for – but with the warning that "I won't get away with it next time." After 20 years as a customer: dirty, rude, anti-customer – never again!

McDrive 08.09.25 around 8:15 PM. The BigTastyBacon was missing a meat patty... of course, I didn't notice until I got home. The fries were like three hours old and had been reheated. The lady at the window was very friendly, though.

This is the only Mac in the Cologne, Bergheim, Düsseldorf, Brand radius where it is fashionable to give a good rating. First, the order was received very quickly! Second, they were constantly cleaning, and third, the food was actually warm. Usually, especially in Cologne, in all Macs the food is always cold

The restroom was super gross and dirty. It smelled of pee and more. The tables were dirty, and the floor was also filthy. The staff were wearing face masks under their chins, for what? No thanks here!

Tasteless food. Fills your stomach without filling you up. It's clean. The interior is good. However, the constant ringing from the kitchen makes it hard to get any peace and quiet.

A typical McDonald's. Nothing extraordinary. There aren't any great play options for kids. The wait times are terrible. The drive-thru is even worse than the inside! I once waited 45 minutes! But I couldn't leave because I was standing in the middle of it. They're constantly packing the food incorrectly. The restrooms are a disgrace!!!!!

You know Essen. Very, very, very dirty. There's garbage everywhere. The toilets are very dirty and certainly aren't cleaned regularly. The return containers are completely overflowing. You can't even take your stuff away. Absolutely terrible.

Unfortunately, there are no changing facilities for babies and small children. When I asked a staff member about this, they didn't understand me and offered me a paper bag. The restroom stalls are so narrow that even someone of average weight has trouble getting into the stall and closing the door from the inside. The service at the table was decent. However, the food was only lukewarm and the fries were soggy. It's a shame, but we won't be stopping here again.

I went there and the food was bad.trash everywhere and they got my order wrong I said to the guy who brought me my order that's its wrong he ignored me and I got the burger I hated they didn't have any patience what so ever and the food came late and cold i also ordered takeoutand they gave me it dine in they were very rude and had no respect i also saw a rat in the kitchen and they didnt care. Crowded place located in a small town.

Cold fries, enormous long wait times because one the POS machines is broken, got a milkshake while I ordered an espresso. Worst thing is the amount of sauce that is put on the burgers. No, I didn’t order twice the amount of sauce. Management needs to pay some more attention here and try to think like a customer a little bit more

A really great place! I'm here with my girlfriend and it's super clean. The table next to us was cleaned immediately after the customers had left. The Sour Dragon Tongue McFlurry is a dream for all dragon tongue lovers. The cookies are super delicious and soft, not to mention the burgers. The kitchen is clean as far as the eye can see. As is the shop. There's no trash or anything like that anywhere, and the staff at the cash register are super friendly and very nice. The woman has a great demeanor and seems very, very full of life. I'll definitely go again!!! However, there was a hair on my girlfriend's burger, her ice cream arrived melted and her Millshake didn't have a straw. I don't know if different people worked on our dishes, but mine was definitely of better quality.

Worst McDonald's I've ever seen. The employee with glasses is a complete rip-off. The manager can hardly speak German either. They fill a McFlurry up to a quarter full and sell it for 3 euros. Such a disgrace!

Back then, my childhood was much better with the outdoor slide and play area. Now, nothing like that. The MC Cafe is never open, and the self-service checkout is such rubbish. No wonder McDonald's is losing money. The 90s McDonald's were 1,000 times better.

Just drove through the McDrive and ordered two vegetarian meals – what did we get? Definitely NOT what we ordered. Then, at home, the surprise. Guys, seriously? There was NOTHING going on – just two cars in the McDrive – and yet the team couldn't even manage to put together two simple orders correctly. It seems too much to ask for them to even look inside the bag before handing it out. Just sloppy and absolutely disappointing. If you're going to McDonald's, you expect at least what you order. Instead, we're left frustrated and left without the food we paid for. Never again from this branch. Period.

The preparation of the order was quick and the quality was good. Many employees wander aimlessly around the restaurant and have to squeeze past people waiting. The area in front of the cash register is large, but the paths leading there are quite narrow. It felt extremely stressful while waiting, and it was also quite loud.

The best Mecces that Bergheim Elsdorf Kerpen has to offer. Everything is just OK, but it's fast food.

Hello again, I'm complaining again about NO table service, which the same shift supervisor deliberately ignored on May 13, 2025, at 4:45 PM. He's apparently always so cheeky on his shift. April 14, 2025 Was there again for breakfast. The prices continue to rise, but I went there voluntarily. The ladies in the morning are always friendly and helpful, preparation and service are quick. The tables by the window front could be wiped more regularly, they stick a bit. Otherwise it's always pleasant to be there; I just find the music, which is a bit too loud and a bit strange, unnecessary. 😉 I'll be back again.

Worst McD experience so far. Machine not working, utter chaos among the personnel and orders incomplete and really slow. Add in an overall bland taste to everything with a mixture of 'interesting' customers and this was the first and last stop at this place.

The worst so far... People missing a double chicken burger for me and another double chicken burger is idiocy... When I got to the place to eat they gave me two regular burgers and fries... Really unfriendly shop. You order via the app, select table service and no one comes. Instead, the food is on the counter and the table number is recited, which is very difficult to understand in the crowd when you are sitting at your seat and waiting! It was the best tasting Mac I've ever had all over the world. This is my first time having such soft and shiny buns. Each piece is carefully made. Potatoes are also so delicious. It was freshly fried, had a nice firmness, was steamy, and had a nice salty taste. I was so impressed that I visited twice in one day. I was impressed that such a Mac existed in this world. I felt that there was a creator who thought about the deliciousness and not just the manual. I'm jealous of those who live nearby. Why are other ratings low? The service was served with a cake on worthless coffee cup coasters. I don't understand how poor you are. We decided to have some fun with coffee and cake. I don't recommend this place to anyone.

Our cakes arrived on coffee plates and a fork and ice cream spoon arrived, we ate our cakes with them, unfortunately we drank our coffee in cardboard cups instead of cups.

I can share my experience with many here. The bottom line is that this branch is one of the worst I have visited. I have made it a habit to check everything before I leave the store. Unfortunately it's time-consuming and no one really enjoys it...But it's better here than having to find out again at home what's missing or wrong. Too bad. Maybe something should be changed in this branch.

Shift manager from February 2nd around lunchtime (he had glasses on) was very disrespectful and aloof, both to customers and to the employees! Answers were stroppy and disrespectful. And an employee simply walked past without paying any attention to others, but the main thing was to give him space. How aloof and unprofessional? The shift manager has to stay down to earth and be aware of where he stands professionally.

Waiting time for 2 burgers (Royal Cheese and Big M) over 35 minutes and still no burger in hand. Ridiculous! This is called fast food? A system should be significantly improved, as it is now, a big minus!

Food slow and cold because staff is overwhelmed with putting out multiple orders at once. Technology is permanently broken, German language skills are non-existent. Unfortunately not a figurehead.

The service is insanely bad. This was a really bad experience, they forgot to put a lot of things( i paid extra) into my burgers, and they forgot burgers also. I spend more than 20 minutes just waiting and i needed to go back for my burgers. After all i came home and they forgot the extras from it. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone at all.

Waiting 17 minutes for the standard menu Royal TS in the restaurant is no longer fast food. At lunchtime at 2:45 p.m. where there isn't much going on...

The only drawback is the staff who serve some of them. They don't speak or understand German but only occasionally. They don't speak English either. But there are worse things.

Bought blueberry muffins today, unfortunately they weren't fresh and fluffy as usual, now I understand why the service employee smiled strangely. That was my last visit there.

Dirty shop. Just picked up a Big Rösti Raclette and got spicy sauce. Burger therefore inedible for me, €10 thrown in the trash.

Ordered a Big Tasty menu with 6 pieces of chicken nuggets with delivery to the table. When it arrived, the chicken nuggets were missing, which was a bit annoying, but that can happen. But what really annoyed me was when I was at the counter with my order, all the employees in the front area pissed off and disappeared in the back. I then stood there alone for several minutes until an employee (possibly she had just delivered something to a table) came and helped me. It was just stupid that the rest of the food was now only lukewarm. Oh yes, you should clean the tables more often, it doesn't make a good impression if the customer first has to look for a clean seat and table.

Every (every!!) table was totally shipped. The chairs were dirty, the floor looked like a chicken coop. There aren't even spoons for a cappuccino for four euros. The employees don't know their own goods and friendliness is given a B here. You have to wait for the burger and then it comes cold. And there are no comfortable seats for McCafé either. Let alone clean ones. McDonald’s can really go away.
