This McDonald's in Pforzheim was the best McDonald's I've ever visited. Very clean, with real flowers on the tables. The food came quickly and was very hot. Reordering via the app was also seamless. Finally, they even got a milkshake; at other locations, the machine is almost always "broken" 😉. The restrooms were very clean and were also cleaned in between meals. The employee made sure no one was in the restroom before cleaning. 10 out of 10!

We were passing through and ordered takeout via the app. It was quite busy, 11 p.m. on a Sunday. We waited less than 5 minutes, our order was complete and correct, the food was delicious, and the onions and lettuce on the burgers were extremely fresh and crispy. We used the restrooms, which were clean. We'd definitely go back! Everything was great!

Even at lunchtime (Saturday in August) it was possible to order without waiting.

The lattice potatoes and fries were inedible, like cardboard. The Big Tasty bacon was tasteless. Unfortunately, at these prices, it's completely pointless to eat there.

Today, the entire system gave up the ghost and crashed. All orders were in error. No card or other payment was possible. After 30 minutes, the staff changed their minds without working. Hats off. Kudos to the manager and staff. Very professional, even though I was very confused by everything. ❤️ Update 8/2025 Everything was great. Fast and fresh. 👍

Cold Food and Unfriendly Customer Service We ordered two McSmart meals, among other things. One of the fries was only half-filled, which I politely complained about. The employee in the dark blue uniform reacted very rudely, claiming this was normal for a medium fries. When I asked if he was serious, he confirmed it. Only when I persisted did he take the package from me without comment and throw it in the trash. I received a new, correctly filled fries from another person. Although it wasn't busy at 2:50 p.m. on Thursday, the burgers were only lukewarm and the fries were lukewarm. Later, we ordered a latte macchiato and an iced coffee, both of which were served in paper cups. I was disappointed, as I had been looking forward to a drink in a glass, because, after all, what you see is what you get.

Took too long. We waited 30 minutes for a mini menu.

I've been here a few times, once they didn't put salad in my burger, another time they didn't give me napkins, and when I asked the waitress for napkins, she didn't give them to me. The food is delicious, but please be more careful.

You can't expect much from MC. But here, they serve fries that aren't even cooked properly and still taste like they came from the freezer. Another order was completely forgotten, and when I asked about it, only half of it arrived. Not recommended ;)

July 2025: Modernly furnished McD branch, friendly and helpful employees. It appears very clean; there's an employee almost constantly busy keeping the floor and tables clean.

The food is McDonald's, but waiting 15 minutes for 12 nuggets only for them to forget the sauce is abysmal. The monitor that's supposed to display the order number doesn't work. The staff is completely overwhelmed.

Even though reviews are always very personal, from an objective perspective, I find what the managers of this store are responsible for borderline unacceptable. The renovation was completed quite quickly compared to some state-subsidized projects. You're wondering what prompted me to vent my outrage via a review? Quite simply, the borderline idiotic opinion that even with the frequent malfunction of the ice cream machine, they could afford to remove the chocolate milkshake from the menu. I demand the immediate public "execution" of the person(s) responsible. You really need to know! *Satire post

On May 30th at 1:35 p.m. we got food from you, everything was an outrage. I ordered a 6-nugget meal, my companion ordered 3 double cheeseburgers without gherkins. The cheeseburgers came with gherkins, the ketchup that was supposed to go on the burger was all in a paper bag, looked like it had already been eaten or altered. My nuggets and fries were dripping with grease, everything was only lukewarm. 2 hours after eating I felt sick, vomiting, diarrhea, sweating, and poor circulation. A major case of salmonella poisoning. I'm still feeling bad today. I'm considering contacting the food inspectorate because salmonella infections are dangerous. I still have a nugget with me. McDonald's can't be reached by phone, hence the reason. Be careful with nuggets.

We were passing through and were simply amazed. It was a new, very large restaurant. By 11 p.m., almost all the tables were occupied, and everything was clean and tidy. The food was very good and the service was friendly.

I've always been of the opinion that the food at McDonald's always tastes the same. But today I was taught otherwise. When it came to Mc Chicken, I thought it tasted bland. But the fries were hot but not salted and the chicken nuggets didn't taste like anything. By the way, my husband felt the same way. It's a shame, but that was really disgusting.

Just stay away from the juice shop

Unfortunately, my visit to McDonald’s was disappointing. I had asked for a Coke without ice, but instead of giving me a new Coke, the Coke was fished out of the glass with a fork to remove the ice cubes. I found that very unhygienic and unprofessional. It's just disgraceful to treat a customer like that. When I left the cola because I just couldn't drink it, the staff didn't even care. A better service would have been to simply give me a Coke without ice.

Why is THIS McDonald's the only one that doesn't have the latest and greatest? When I stopped by for socks a few days ago, they weren't there and the new Minecraft toys were only available in quantities of three and only in boxes like this. Why can't everything continue as usual even though many people visit this McDonald's? But the staff is nice and the food is delicious.

Don't go for coffee in your own cup. Here the coffee is first poured into a plastic cup and then poured into the cup you brought with you.

Tastes like any regular McDonald's But the renovation looks much better now, and there's more space

McDonalds just....just a touch more soddy than usual, a bit grubbier than elsewhere (tables are probably only cleaned once a day, floor totally sticky, not to mention the toilet), with staff that are even more unmotivated, unfriendly and unsympathetic than in the average restaurant...I used the table service...it even worked...or let's put it that way...food arrived...lady slapped the tray on the table (of course with a bored expression), no "please", no "enjoy your meal"... Well, if you like that sort of thing, this is absolutely the right place for you.

It used to be a cozy place to eat. You've lost me as a regular after three attempts since the renovation for the following reasons: 1. It's absolutely cold everywhere because of drafts from all sides and insufficient heating. 2. The seating is far too narrow, you can't fit two trays on most tables, there are no cozy corners – everything is open to view, it's loud, and so incredibly cramped that when you slide in between two tables, you literally have to push your butt past other people's food, or the table presses into your stomach while you're eating – it's unacceptable! They cut corners, and the order boards take up too much space. Was the seating arrangements approved by the building authorities during the renovation? In the event of a fire, everyone wouldn't be able to leave the room at the same time; it's so cramped that panic would break out – this urgently needs to be corrected. 3. The decor doesn't look modern, but rather like it's from the 70s – truly tasteless colors and absolutely uncomfortable, with narrow chairs and benches. It used to be much more cozy and appealing!! Who came up with the new concept?! 4. The food takes a very long time, and the service is constantly haphazard. Often, the wrong thing that wasn't ordered was served. 5. The electrical outlets, which used to be your trademark, are almost all gone—and this in the digital age. Overall summary: UNCOMFORTABLE, UGLY, COLD, UNPROFESSIONAL, OLD-FASHIONED, CRAMPED, POOR SERVICE, SAFETY RISK—ABSOLUTE NO-GO—SORRY—Lost regulars

The manager was very rude and they gave me less and said they will not give me my rest im missing one burger and im definitely not eat there again very bad service

Chips without salt, burger ordered without cucumber, forgot to remove, burger with cheese sauce but tasted like expired fish, napkins forgotten to be put in the bag; absolute disappointment.

It's a McDonald's, and I don't understand what many people expect. The employees are almost all friendly, with an emphasis on almost. Otherwise, a classic McDonald's.

It's a shame that the staff apparently aren't capable of mixing a Spezi. But you could order Coke or Fanta... well, okay.

Very cold since the renovation, eating is only possible in a winter jacket! P.S. We weren't sitting next to the door! Therefore 2 stars for the ambience, the restaurant can be as nice as it wants, if it's cold inside like in the fridge, then the ambience no longer comes into its own! The food was good and the service is ok too! You should work on the heating 😉 If that changes you'll get 5 stars again, so it's only 3!

Ate on Wednesday December 18th, 2024, stomach cramps and colic since then until today December 20th, 204. Since I haven't eaten anything else, I think it's just from there. Thank you for that!

After the renovation, already 2 visits to this McDonalds. The service is quick even if the team still has to arrive. The food is good and usually arrives warm. However, ordering is only possible via the terminals and these are so high that a wheelchair user cannot order their food independently without help.

We were just at the drive-in. The computer was broken when taking orders. The service point to hand over the goods said the cash register was also broken. We ordered. Apparently the new One Piece Burger is only available as a menu. We took 2 menus, then drove home with the bag and 2 drinks. We opened the bag there. And there were 2 fries and 1 box of chicken nuggets in it. Nothing we ordered. Incredible.... We're avoiding the chain now.

After renovation today the first day back and surprises: there is no milkshake. After the 10th attempt I give up and go to the BK as usual

So I ordered a cheeseburger without cucumbers and onions and that was what it said, but the burger had both in it and my sister had a normal one and it had nothing on it

The McDonalds in Pforzheim is the best one I've been to so far. The food was fresh and not mushy like you would expect from McDonalds. The service was very engaging and friendly and I have never seen such a clean McDonalds, even though it was busy. If it wasn't so far away, I would definitely go there more often. Highly recommended 👏

The staff tries very hard, but during the last visits we noticed the dirty tables, chairs and floors (some of them were just as dirty as before, even after being wiped by employees. Maybe the cloth wasn't washed off well?). In the spaces between the window and the tables it was very dirty with old dirt, and the floor was increasingly sticky under the tables. Both in the evening and in the morning (when we had a spontaneous meal at your place around 9:30 a.m.). I think it's a shame that a restaurant that was actually so good and where we used to enjoy going no longer meets the hygienic standards it once had.

Miserable management, I went there for the third time after work after twelve midnight, wanted to take a burger and fries with me, that wouldn't have been a problem, but I also like a milkshake, and now the same method as the previous owner has crept in that the answer came, "The machine is being cleaned", no matter what day this device is always cleaned. I was so annoyed that I then told the cashier that I didn't want to order anything more and that I wouldn't come again.
