McDonald's in Bielefeld

When we asked for a straw for our grandchild, we were told "straws only with milkshakes." The employees are friendly, but if that's how it is, then there's something wrong with you! You can probably answer for yourself if it's not right. Then go to Bürgerking next time.

Ordered via the app and selected the parking service. After 15 minutes no one came and when we asked the restaurant it was revealed that the order had been forgotten. After a total of half an hour the food was served.

I ordered and received 2 double cheeseburgers. Not really hot, soggy, definitely kept warm longer. For the price I would have liked to have waited a little longer and gotten good "fresh" quality. That's enough for me for now for next year.

Please ALWAYS check your orders for completeness. Was ripped off yesterday. We had a very large order and since there was a lot going on in the store and we were in a hurry, we blindly trusted the employees, which was a disadvantage for us. 2x chicken burgers were not put in, which we noticed at home... almost 5 euros were given away to this juice shop. That was the last time at McDonalds. I would also like to mention that when I ordered from two different machines, they didn't want to accept my My McDonalds login code and I therefore missed out on points for a 65 euro order. Thanks for that too. Would give -5 stars if I could. Because 1 star is way too much.

Supposedly open 24/7, employees are also there and sitting around, but the door is closed and it is supposedly “closed”.

The store was better before the renovation. Mc Drive has now been enlarged to two lanes, but that doesn't make it any faster. It even feels like it's taking a little longer than before. So if you want to go to McDrive and take a normal menu, you have to expect a wait of 10-20 minutes. What unfortunately happens far too often at this branch: Items are missing from the order. Recently ordered a voucher with 2 Big Macs, there was only one in the bag. Unfortunately I only noticed it when I got home. Basically paid €12 for a BigMac with fries. So I can only give one tip: ALWAYS check your order (at least at this branch).

Staff completely overwhelmed, after 20 minutes breakfast was still not ready. Had to cancel the order because my break time was over. Really not a recommendation if time is limited.

The conversion was successful, the rest, for whatever reason, has turned out badly, just plain bad. The food has been cold three times in a row now, even though we ate on site. The McChicken classic was literally squished. Something is always missing from the order. Why is this now???

On Thursday I was on the evening shift at the restaurant (McDonald's) at around 6 p.m. The young southern man who served our disabled son and I was very, very friendly and that just has to be said. I was very pleased with the service and humanity, including in the general department next door.

It was rebuilt again, now 2 MC Drive switches. Communication is sometimes difficult and ordering appointments makes it more and more impersonal. The Big Mac was loudly warm. Well, you save where you can.

Less space after the renovation. It was very loud. The dark ceiling also makes the store appear darker and uninviting overall. As a pick-up person, you used to have enough space to lean on. Now you're standing in a line crowded to one side. The fries were undercooked and lukewarm. The entrance has been moved towards the street, but you still have to take Mc Drive to get to the entrance. Will avoid this McDonald's branch in the future.

In this branch I ate the worst fries ever and unfortunately I couldn't order tea because no one felt responsible for the McCafé. The tables were also very dirty. The employees seem unmotivated and the station where they sort the garbage was also dirty.

Everything is new, but a bit understaffed in the evenings. There still needs to be a little adjustment 👍🏻

Since the renovation, the queues have become abnormally long

Since the renovation there have been two lanes, but still only one person serves. Waited for a long time, felt even longer than usual. Wrong order received. The waitress was still making a private phone call in the meantime and had her game open on her cell phone. What else can I say about that.

"Germany's most modern MC's" Maybe that's true, but it doesn't turn a donkey into a racehorse. Unmotivated staff, cold food (as usual) and unclean trimmings. Even “fresh” cut flowers don’t get the cart out of the dirt. I'm going back to Dissen, my colleagues understand customer orientation and customer satisfaction.

Conversion from 1 to 2 access lanes, but still only one output. With only 6 cars, you're already starting to get your tires squared away. Attract more customers and keep service at the same capacity. Entrance no longer from the parking lot but via the street. That's not how it works. From fast food to waiting in line. Things work better at Burger King in Gütersloh and they also have two access lanes and only one counter for payment and delivery. It's not far from Brackwede either, I'll go there in the future. Never again Meckel in the Brocke.

12/2024 I thought the store was much better before the renovation than it is now.. 👎 The store has become smaller, seating options are limited and very dense, Order terminals next to the tables, service trolleys for the trays overcrowded and overall dirty..! 👎 Fries cold & salty as always 👎 Staff very quick and polite.. 👍 Large parking lot.. 👍 Outdoor seating available 👍

Many people here complain about the staff or the ambience or the food. I'm a local resident and I complain about the customers who take their food with them and then just throw it around. In and around the Bockschatzteichen, in the Trüggelbach and in the Grippenbach, along the entire Winterstrasse, there is McDonald's garbage everywhere. It is not uncommon to have to rescue a hedgehog, cat or other animal on a walk because it has gotten caught in the trash. These pictures on December 24th, 2024 on Winterstrasse, simply disgusting.

One star for the fact that online it says it's open, but it's actually in renovation. Drove all the way for nothing.

Staff totally overwhelmed, guests report several times that they want to pay without anyone responding. The cash register and the counter are very close to each other so it is not clear who wants to order and who is waiting for their order, those waiting are standing directly in front of the tables of the eating guests. ..Food is minimally lukewarm. There are trays on many tables that have not been cleared, but the tray trolley is also very overcrowded. It was better before, even on days when there was a lot going on. The ambience has been made worse and the service terrible! Waited 20 minutes and then cold burgers! Not like that!!

It was just catastrophic the burgers are too small you don't even get a lid for the drinks and there are some people who just push in front of them the workers say nothing or do what I personally don't want to come to McDonald's anymore.

After the renovation, there is less space than before, the tables are very close to each other, and anyone waiting for their food to take away stands directly at the table of other guests. Moving the entrance makes it look less inviting. The plywood panels appear as if the darker wood has been removed. I don't think the new design works! It was even more comfortable back then in the 90s. Regarding today's order: luckily I checked it on site, hardly anything fit. The fries were cold and only half filled, there was ketchup in the bag instead of mayo and the burgers were mislabeled or missing completely. The ordering terminal didn't spit out a receipt, so there was no number known to be called at the front, the staff was quite overwhelmed (understandable, first day after renovation), but they could still have taken time to clarify the situation, there was enough staff available, but they preferred to tear the Monopoly stickers off the cups, which would have ended up in the trash. In the future we would prefer to drive from Brackwede to Sennestadt, at least there you don't sit in the hustle and bustle and can eat in peace and quiet on site.

Unfortunately, the conversion backfired. What was once a spacious branch with enough space for guests who wanted to eat in-house and a small waiting area in front of the cash register or counter has become a cramped and uncomfortable branch. There is a lack of space in every nook and cranny. You stand directly at the table of the people who eat in the restaurant, both when ordering and when waiting for take-away food, so that they cannot eat in peace. Especially at busy times, this will lead to some problems, if not arguments, between guests.

Quite okay here. The staff doesn't talk much, but they don't have to with the terminals anymore. The customers take some getting used to and it doesn't make it easy for the staff to keep the branch clean.

The service was very nice and friendly, the atmosphere was rather unpleasant, many tables and chairs were unclean, we had to search a lot to find a decent place! But what annoys me the most is that the fries are usually only lukewarm and soggy! To be honest - it's not ok for the price! But now I always return them if they aren't hot!

Probably our worst McDonald’s visit ever… We were here on Thursday evening and the store was busy. The drinks (Cola/Sprite) were warm - there appeared to be no ice cubes. The burgers were lukewarm, but the fries were hot. In addition, the toilets and the floor were peed all over a large area. The personla did not respond to our report. We definitely won't be coming back!!!

There's nothing culinary to be had at this McDonald's either, but you can get your fill. But you can also invest your money much better.

Never seen such a dirty restaurant. If they can't manage to wipe the tables all day, I don't even want to know what the kitchen looks like. The children's chairs are so slippery and greasy. Nothing has been cleaned at all. The whole restaurant has the charm of a train station toilet. (I don't even want to talk about the toilet itself). Simply disgusting, the burger no longer tastes good. For ambience -5 stars

Which language do I actually have to learn so that people can understand me at McDonalds??? Not only do I have to repeat my menu countless times, but I still get it wrong very often! I was in Mc Drive on August 31, 2024 at 11:20 p.m. and the woman who worked at taking the order was so incredibly unfriendly that I can no longer put it into words. She didn't respond to questions, spoke in a tone that was not at all appropriate, and simply turned her back on me after I tried to tell her that her behavior was inappropriate. I would understand if you were stressed, but it wasn't even particularly crowded. I come from the catering industry myself and if you behave like that you have no place in the catering industry. I was so angry that I didn't like the food anymore.

The food is like over. The service was friendly and quick. The atmosphere doesn't invite you to stay there. With smaller children it can be dangerous, among other things, because the sockets simply protrude from the wall.

I was shocked and deeply disappointed by my last visit to this McDonald's. We were in the drive through at 4:15 am on July 28, 2024. The counter worker yelled at us and was extremely rude when we asked a simple question about the menu. His disrespectful and insulting comments were completely inappropriate and made us feel unwanted. To make matters worse, I had the uneasy feeling that someone was spitting on our food. After we finally received our order, the food looked unappetizing and tasted strange. It was an extremely unpleasant experience that makes me doubt whether I will ever visit a McDonald's again. This store lacks any standard or courtesy. I can only advise anyone not to eat here. Just disgusting and disrespectful.

On the whole, pretty much like everyone else, but it often happens that the drinks are served in the wrong size (e.g. 0.25 liters instead of 0.5 liters). The staff are very friendly and will give you the correct size if you ask. Plus, I've never had a milkshake here. Either the machine is out or broken or it is sold out.

I just wanted to go for a coffee (or an iced coffee) - unfortunately it didn't go as planned and I will never come here again. First I ordered a decaf, then I was told there was no decaffeinated coffee. Then I wanted my money back, suddenly there was decaffeinated coffee (I assume that the person was too lazy to go over to the mccafé stand because that was the only place where this coffee was available). When I asked if I could have the drinks in a glass instead of a paper cup, the answer was bluntly no. Outrageous. You really don't want to drink coffee like that. Thank you - never again

Everything was clean, fast and great people

After being cheated on every third major family order at McDonald's Sennestadt due to missing burgers, I decided to change restaurants. Mind you, there is always too little in the paid bags. It could be that it is an oversight and that sometimes there is too much in the bags. No, there is always too little product. Then I moved to Brackwede. The first order took an unusually long time, so you can no longer call it fast food. It took 20 minutes in McDrive, even though there were only 5 vehicles in front of me. My own order, which was put together via the app, took 8 minutes at the serving counter alone. At least the employee apologized without a word from me. The second order was missing a McPlant. Nobody likes to be fooled. So I wrote to the restaurant. There should be no compensation. Instead they wanted to steal my time and invite me to breakfast in the completely filthy place. I have only been visiting McDrive for years and refuse to enter the "restaurants" given the hygienic conditions. Unfortunately, it wasn't until the second answer from the "manager" that I found out that it was the same person as in Sennestadt. Everything was immediately clear to me. Why are the conditions in “his” restaurants like this? Are the employees stealing the goods their customers have paid for? I do not believe that. Then where is the problem? Employee fluctuation is extremely high, at least in Sennestadt. Why? Employees told me about desolate conditions. None of them work at McDonalds anymore. Ultimately, I suspect the poor and harmful working conditions are behind this misery. Everything has to go even faster. When I placed my second order in Brackwede, two employees packed my bags. It was almost clear that this couldn't work. I offered to check the bags I ordered at McDrive in the future. After numerous complaints and useless answers, the authorized representative of all the houses in Bielefeld, Paderborn, Delbrück, Lippstadt, Geseke, Salzkotten, Bad Driburg and Beverungen offered me €4.99 as compensation for the first time. For this reason I should no longer visit the McDonalds mentioned. I was refused to check the bags on the grounds that I would disrupt the operational process. Apparently McDonalds is proud of the fact that they are ripping off their customers and are doing a lot to ensure that they can continue to cheat their customers. A lawsuit would be worthwhile for the large number of missing products. In the end, all you end up with is trouble. I can only strongly advise against eating at McDonalds in Bielefeld, Paderborn, Delbrück, Lippstadt, Geseke, Salzkotten, Bad Driburg and Beverungen. In all my visits outside, something like this has never happened to me. Normally I'm used to receiving replacements straight away, especially if products are missing. That's not the case here! Only after 4 emails will the first replacement be offered. I can save myself the work in the future. These restaurant operators have no interest in change. You could also change the process or ask yourself why products are missing every time. Even the Heiderich management team doesn't want to deal with constructive criticism. This results in my personal conclusion that I can only warn against “such people” (@ authorized representative: ;-)). The food is familiar to me and gets 4 stars because my children like it. The service is terribly bad in Bielefeld Sennestadt and also in Brackwede. This also applies to the hygienic conditions. Therefore, service and ambience only receive 1 star.

Hello, I had ordered 2 menus, first the order was prepared incorrectly and then when I got home a citizen was missing. Such an impudence and when you call, no one answers. (The employees are simply incompetent and can't even deliver an order of 2 menus correctly. (That at Mcs is just sad!.

Milkshake never available!!!! According to the staff, it's too expensive to repair and when the machine is repaired it keeps breaking down, that's the information from the box! I asked again and again for a year and never received it. Children were always very disappointed ☹️

. . . I read that Mr. Mc claims that food should taste similar all over the world. . . I regularly do the test with the McRib - the difference is in the ingredients. Sauce, cucumber and onions. The food is okay here, but the service is. . . You can have a bad day, but if someone doesn't feel like working, you should at least NOT work in service. At the animal shelter you might be able to push a dog's bowl like this, 😳 . . .

We were there for breakfast. The new products are really tasty. Everything was freshly prepared. Because this of course took a little longer, my little son got a drink packet to bridge the waiting time. Very friendly staff.

Ordered reusable (consumed on site in a cup), received disposable. Reusable cups cannot be ordered. Clear violation of the packaging law. Who cares about trash...

The tables could be cleaner and there could be salt on the fries. The burgers are solid and the waiting times are short.

Unfortunately, at this branch it happens regularly, in my case on 6 out of 8 visits this year, that things are missing when ordered in the MC Drive. I am anything but satisfied with the statement from an employee after complaining that products were missing from my order: "You must always check your order immediately."

Seems to be either fairly new or renovated, definitely very clean, nice service and fresh, crispy fries.

Order....pay....eat.....get full.....no more, no less....just fast food.....OK for a small hunger..... but a fish burger for now 4.99 euros with a mini piece of fish and half a slice of processed cheese on it, that's great...
