McDonald's in Bielefeld

I went to this branch today and ordered food using the McDonald's app. Despite indicating that I was already there, the app selected an address in Paderborn. After 20 minutes when the food still hadn't arrived, I checked and discovered that the order had been sent to Paderborn. However this error occurred, they were unfortunately unable to provide me with a meal. So disappointing. ☹️

Where we were on Sunday it was quite crowded, with long waiting times.

The food is usually very good, but it's happened far too often that something was missing or the wrong thing was packed. One employee was very rude and unfriendly when I pointed out that one of my burgers was missing from my breakfast. I'd rather have breakfast somewhere else, but otherwise it's still quite good and one of the few McDonald's I go to regularly. Unfortunately, after the renovation, McDonald's doesn't feel as cozy as it did before.

Unfortunately, very often the wrong items were ordered, or sometimes they weren't ordered at all; one of the staff members was a bit unfriendly, but otherwise the food was very tasty and still recommendable.

I ordered takeaway once and the Coke was only half full and they forgot the sauce… That's not what I call service…

Everything always takes so long! The drive-thru is pointless! You can wait just as long inside! The staff are neither friendly nor helpful!

Absolutely abysmal and completely overwhelmed service! Ordered two latte macchiatos at the terminal. Waited 20 minutes and inquired once. "It's being processed immediately." Waited another 10 minutes and inquired again. "Please wait a moment, it's being processed." More than 30 minutes had passed since the order, and not a single employee had been in the McCafé! Now 36 minutes had passed, and I went behind the counter myself and asked if it was self-service by then! Then things moved relatively quickly, and we got our two lattes. However, without a word of apology or anything of the sort. In the meantime, there were at least seven other customers complaining. Wrong burger, missing fries, missing sauce, drink only half full because it was ordered without ice, etc. This wasn't the first time we've had to wait a long time for our coffee here. I think it takes too long and is very inconvenient for the staff to prepare these items, and that's why no one seems to care. There used to be an extra person at McCafé, but they've cut that now, along with the option to order directly from the staff. Too bad, McDonald's, but this isn't going to work! I definitely won't be visiting this branch again, even though I often charge my car nearby and like to use the time for a snack or a coffee. But luckily there's a Subway next door...

Dear Sir or Madam, We were traveling from Dortmund to Berlin today. We wanted to stop by for a short coffee break. The service was very unfriendly. The man didn't remember that we only wanted two cappuccinos with lactose-free milk. The coffee didn't taste right, more like it had been brewed twice. He served it to us in paper cups and didn't ask how we wanted it served. When I pointed this out, he brushed me off in a very unpleasant and unacceptable tone. Everyone has to start somewhere. You can easily forget and forgive many things. I have nothing against foreigners, but customer service is a priority in this profession. The man should be aware of that. Food as usual, but the burger was a kit...totally dislocated and messed up. But the cleanliness of the restrooms was really bad! No motorway restroom is this bad! That makes a visit to Sennestadt extremely unattractive and unappetizing.

We buy and pay for a McCafe latte, and then they want to give us a standard coffee, and they take the standard coffee and throw in a few shots of espresso. That's always the same in Germany. The country is on the road to decline.

A nice, clean branch. There are parking spaces with electricity right outside. It's an ideal stop if you have a long trip on the A2 ahead of you.

We had to wait 20 minutes for two cheeseburgers and fries... The drink was only three-quarters full...

For the first time in years, I've been craving a beef burger with fries, but what I was served was absolutely terrible. The fries were cold and the fries carton was only half full. Instead of a beef burger, I got a cold cheeseburger with rotten lettuce. It was simply disgusting. I recommend closing the restaurant. That's my experience. Perhaps they should investigate why this is happening? I imagine the staff are under too much pressure. Perhaps the authorities should get involved.

There were some things missing from our to-go order, or rather, there was something different in it than what we wanted.

Shortly after the renovation of this branch, everything is back to normal. The restrooms are so dirty that all surfaces are sticky and visibly covered in dirt, and the toilets are also broken. Ordering here takes a very long time. After hearing other customers complain, I decided to cancel my order. To top it off, there is no adequate waste disposal here. Some of the trash bags are left loose for collection. The service and cleanliness here need work in every corner; no amount of renovation will help. Money has been wasted here without lasting results.

Ordinary McDonald's. We can handle it. We ordered mayo through the ordering system, but had to ask again to get it. It can happen, especially since we got it without any problems when we asked. The food is otherwise what you'd expect: the Mash was good, the fries were hot. The donut wasn't great for the price, but that's not the branch's fault. Restrooms could have been a bit cleaner. I also had to press the button three times before I got a small amount of liquid soap. Otherwise, a good branch on a drive-through street, definitely worth going back to.

So you order a regular cappuccino, want to eat it there, and you get a paper cup that's not even full. Only half full, so no more McDonald's. I'd rather go to a bakery or Subway next door.

Very disappointing, half of the Happy Meal was missing. And you pay so much money for that. Very sad! And the children are sad. Apparently, you shouldn't trust it and shouldn't make it a takeaway! What they're doing is a rip-off!

The food isn't always well-prepared to standard. They constantly forget something, and you have to go back. I've never had everything listed before. The staff is visibly disorganized; this McDonald's clearly needs a new manager who can organize the staff effectively.

We were there today. The entrance was incredibly dirty. The tables were sticky, we moved again (but it didn't help), and there was packaging waste, dirt, and a lot of fries under the tables. Maybe it was because it was a holiday and it was very busy, so the staff couldn't manage it. The person sitting next to us wasn't thrilled with his seat either. Our food wasn't any better. The fries were cold, and there were two 6-piece nuggets - one 6-piece was hot, the other 6-piece was cold. The fish burger was lukewarm... There was such a long queue at the takeaway station that you didn't even have to think about mentioning the food or complaining.

Typical McDonald's food, and the place is quite nice. But the staff ruins it all. Slow, irritable, and unfriendly.

Coke is made 3x emptier, and 200 ml of it is also ice cubes. The ice is also emptier than at other locations.

We come here often and after today's visit I have to write a review. When we ordered today they forgot about our nuggets and when we went to check in, the lady was very nice, she apologized nicely with a smile and we even got a few more pieces and a gift. Very nice, others can take an example from her.

I'd love to give it 0 stars. We were there yesterday around 6:30 p.m. and ordered at the terminals. At some point, an employee decided to delete all the "In Processing" numbers, probably to "meet the time." When we asked why, she just said, "Coming." We then waited over 20 minutes for our order (with others). Then higher numbers were called. Ours was simply forgotten. When we complained and asked for their money back, the manager was probably called? He put together the order. We checked the worst of it. When we got home, we realized we had the wrong sauces. Sorry, but never again!!! No apology and no compensation. You don't win customers that way!

I've been buying ice cream from you for a year now, and it's almost always half-melted immediately, more like water. At other places, the ice cream is much more frozen, as it should be. Even your milkshake turns to water almost immediately as soon as you buy it.

Unfortunately, one of the McDrive-thru items (Chicken McNuggets) wasn't wrapped. Of course, you only notice it when you get home. It wasn't busy, which made it even more incomprehensible.

I have never seen worse service. We ordered tishservice. They brought only half the order. We had to go and sort it out. There was only one small cucumber in the burgers and McRibbons. They mixed up all the sauces, they put in completely different ones than we ordered. The tables were dirty. And all this despite the fact that there were very few customers! I do not recommend visiting this McDonald's at all!

These guys have plenty of time to talk, the order arrived late, and then they made jokes...

The food was okay, but the service team seems to see this as a stage for their big stand-up comedy breakthrough. In their eagerness to see if the person sitting opposite them will laugh at their jokes, they press the wrong button at the cash register twice, and everything has to be re-entered. So it's no wonder simple orders take forever here.

It has to be once a month or Hermaburger.

Absolutely terrible. The wait times are always so long. Even at the restaurant, it doesn't take that long. It's definitely not normal.

This McDonald's is quite large and not overly crowded, which is a good thing, but otherwise, it's just McDonald's. Fast food is nothing special, and the quality isn't exactly top-notch either.

The restaurant is very easy to reach. What's a bit confusing are the two McDrive stations. You can hear everything a bit jumbled together...

A relatively new McDonald's restaurant, but the restrooms were dirty. Dirt had been sitting in the corners for a while...the toilet paper holders were completely covered in dust. The flushing area, where the door was left open...disgustingly dirty. Luckily, we only had two coffees...which we had to wait a while for, even though no one else was waiting. I definitely wouldn't have ordered anything to eat...something definitely needs to change that!!!!

Disappointing Visit at the Drive-Thru We went to this McDonald's drive-thru with the family today – unfortunately, it was a very unpleasant experience. The employee at the counter was consistently unfriendly and seemed annoyed when one of our children changed their mind at the last minute. No trace of friendliness, no "please," no "thank you" – basics of customer service, especially in the service area. This kind of atmosphere is especially disappointing when you're out with children and really just expect a straightforward, friendly experience. Whether this is normal at McDonald's these days or whether it was due to the current mood – hard to say. But for us, today was definitely not a visit we'd want to repeat.

So after the renovations, I'm very disappointed. I waited a whopping 20 minutes for a regular meal; the burger was soggy and the fries were cold. Even though it wasn't busy, other guests were also very annoyed.

Every time I'm here, I'm unfortunately forced to come here—simply because it's nearby. But literally every time, something's missing, something's mixed up, or the order is incorrect. Even if I wait extra and ask again, the end result is often not right. I constantly see other guests coming back because something's missing—fries, the wrong menu, or parts of their order completely forgotten. It all seems extremely disorganized and demonstrates a very incompetent team. Mistakes can happen, but here it's the rule, not the exception. Very disappointing. I hope something changes soon—or that better alternatives emerge nearby.

It's getting more and more disappointing here! I've been there several times since the renovations. Every time, almost all the tables are simply dirty and aren't cleaned by the staff! You don't even get a napkin with your order anymore.

It was not possible to sit inside when I was there, while there was nowhere a message that this location at this time was only open for drive-trough/in. The waittime was short, +- 5 minutes. But the food was really not good. The fries were awfull, 1 star. The chicken nuggets were okay. This was my first time in a long time going to a mac, I already knew it was a bad idea before I went here but the mac was the only place that was open, and I had to eat somewhere. Now I know again how bad the mac is and I'm not planning to go back. The quality is poor and the prices are not low enough anymore.

This ia the largest McDonald's I have ever seen. It has place for almost 200 people. And management here is really good.

Unfortunately, my order was apparently mixed up with another one, so after a long wait, I received a partially incorrect menu. The fries were hard, dark, and crispy; they probably had to survive several trips in the fryer. The staff were completely overwhelmed and stressed. Unfortunately, I can't recommend it; I'm very disappointed.

Unfortunately, it's been an absolute disaster since the renovations. They seem to be trying to cut down on staff as much as possible. The wait for my order has been over 30 minutes each of the last three times. But on the last visit, they went too far: a 30-minute wait, then half the order was wrong, and before the counter staff even spoke to me, I was ignored for 20 minutes because the food had to be brought to the tables. At least 10 customers were standing between the terminals and the cash register, sometimes waiting over 15 minutes just to pay. Apparently, there was only one person for the cash register and table delivery, who always prioritized table delivery. That was definitely my last visit.

Unfortunately, it's always disappointing. Today was truly the worst experience we've ever had at a McDonald's. We went there with the family because the branch was actually convenient for us, located right off the highway entrance. Despite several negative experiences in the past, we've always given it a chance. Today was definitely the low point. The branch was chaotic. What was particularly annoying was that the toy was missing from the Happy Meal. This has happened to us four or five times now at this branch. This is a key element, especially for children, and it's simply frustrating when it's constantly overlooked. We definitely won't be going there again. Never staff is lazy when it comes to washing dishes. Cardboard just has to be thrown away. If I don't order to go at MC Coffee, I don't expect a paper cup.

There are four to five errors in every, absolutely every order, and they do so with incredible reliability. I've rarely experienced so many staffing issues. The atmosphere is OK, recently renovated.

For the past year or two, something has been forgotten with every order at the McDrive. One or two burgers or fries are always missing. Furthermore, the service is very unfriendly, both at the McDrive and in the restaurant. On top of that, the burgers are usually lukewarm or not warm at all. It's a shame, because it wasn't this bad before. Since then, we've always gone to Brackwede. The extra effort is worth it.

Anyone who knows McDonald's knows the food and the atmosphere. The only difference is the employees, and they are very friendly....

I don't understand why people work there who don't speak a word of German. If you have questions, they call people who speak just as little German, and in the end, you have to communicate with Google Translate. If you don't speak German, you shouldn't at least stand at the checkout line.

The food was okay. However, none of the orders were complete or correct. Some people didn't get what they ordered, and ours, like many others, was missing something. We won't be back.

A renovation is useless if everything changes for the worse and the service is even worse than before. Orders are prepared carelessly, half of them are forgotten, and friendliness seems to have never been taught here. One day the restaurant simply closes for dine-in after midnight; another evening, vegetable crates are placed in the drive-in area so that people can't drive in. And what's the point of having two drive-in lanes for ordering if only one order is ever taken? And you still can't get out of the drive-in area because the two lanes are merged into one. The system is completely ill-conceived. And the second drive-in lane means you can't even get out of the parking lot afterwards because everything is blocked. So avoid this McDonald's; it's a complete waste of time.

An order was delivered to the wrong table. Upon request, they redid it. We then had to wait again. A McRibben Rib was cold and the sauce was dried out, and the Royal cheese was cold. The seats weren't very clean; they had grease marks on them.

At the MC Drive-In, food was missing from my order again, unfortunately only noticing it when I got home. The Happy Meal was missing a toy and a side order. Unfortunately, this wasn't the first time.

Super drive: two-lane reception. The food was hot, arrived in seconds, simply amazing, and the staff were very friendly. One video shows a harmless fly beetle; just like a fly, an insect like that can get lost sometimes! This Mecces is top-notch. Highly recommended!

By far the worst McDonald's I've ever visited. Even the renovation/reopening unfortunately hasn't changed that! Orders weren't complete, burgers were carelessly slapped into the box, fries were cold, and the Chicken Big Mac was soggy and mushy. The staff seemed completely overwhelmed, and the cleanliness... meh!

This was the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. Very unfriendly staff. If you wanted something they would just say "yes" and then walk on and ignore you. Or they would argue and assume you couldn't count because a burger was missing. You waited 30-40 minutes for your food, when in smaller towns with just as many customers it's definitely quicker!! The staff at the front worked very slowly, moving at a snail's pace. The food was practically cold after half an hour. The milkshake wasn't good either, and there were no sauces either. If I could, I would give everything 0 stars!

Fed up! Things are being forgotten in the order again!! We ordered 2 mcSmart double cheese meals and an extra cheeseburger. That's really not a big order! What's missing? The extra cheeseburger of course. But the worst thing was that the two double cheeses were ice cold! This is at least the 3rd time that things have not been packed with the order. And every time something is cold and simply no longer fresh. I've already paid at least 20€ for nothing at this store. And driving back again just doesn't make sense! You can't check the entire order every time! THAT'S YOUR JOB! I won't be going to this branch again.
