I waited too long for fast food, especially for takeaway. The staff was disorganized in my opinion. Otherwise, like any other McD.

After placing my Lieferando order and receiving the order confirmation, I waited over two hours for my food, only to receive a notification at 11 p.m. that my order had been canceled! Absolutely ridiculous!

Sehr schlechte Filiale. Lange Wartezeiten, meist fehlt etwas in der Tüte. Die Krönung war einmal, dass ein teurer Spezialburger gefehlt hat. Wenn man das erst zu Hause beim verteilen bemerkt und man zu weit weg wohnt, ist das schon sehr ärgerlich. Heute fehlte dann nur eine Portion Pommes und eine Sauce für die Nuggets. Schade.

This isn't fast food, it's slow food. The wait at the McDrive-thru as the first car was a full 10 minutes, to be precise. A police car behind me drove away. The excuse was "we only had two people in the kitchen." Okay, that's a good way to admit you're not in control of your organization at 11:45 a.m. The women there were terribly annoyed and unfriendly, and the man at the counter was OK.

Very, very unhygienic. Young female employees are constantly playing with each other's loose, long hair, constantly hugging each other, and chatting. I only saw one employee working. Additionally, there was a long hair in the bag of chips. It's best to give it negative stars. And a case for the health department.

It's simply unbelievable that no manager or anyone else in charge of this branch can take care of these wait times. It's truly impossible and sickening, because this isn't fast food—sometimes you wait less time for a proper meal in a restaurant than you do here for this standard fare.

I've never experienced anything like this before; I waited 20 minutes. The fries were cold. Everyone was completely uncoordinated. Table service was unavailable. The machine didn't dispense bongs. At least 20 people were waiting for their food.

Update: Things are getting better now. The quality of McD's fast food is OK so far. I just don't understand the rush at McD's every night. The drive-thru is always extremely crowded.

I ordered two cookies and a drink today and was surprised at the high price of €16. I got cake instead, which I didn't order. I'm not racist or anything, but please have someone at the order counter who understands what you want. I repeated it several times, and it was still wrong. Then they brought it to my car, and I wanted to exchange it. They refused. Thanks for nothing... extremely dissatisfied, and this wasn't the first time.

The cappuccino was delicious. The restroom...unbelievable. Dirty, no toilet paper, overflowing cosmetic bins, so much of it was spilling out, the floor was dirty, and the sink was completely filthy. This was at noon. I can't understand how, in a restaurant, they don't pay attention to cleanliness.

McDrive - I'm 6th in line. I haven't been there for 10 minutes. After getting home after ordering, something was missing again. You're supposed to check it right away, but with 6 items, that shouldn't be necessary. I can only advise everyone to actually check, as we've had something missing from every order we've placed over the past year. It's nice that they offer to pick up the missing items, but driving another 30 km just for that doesn't make much sense. My family and our circle of friends will avoid this restaurant in the future - never again!

A disastrous experience. No straws, no lids for drinks—everything was empty. The counter was overflowing, two of the ordering machines were broken, and the electronic display wasn't working. The order was processed incorrectly: All three Happy Meals lacked the surprise, one was completely wrongly ordered, and the fries weren't delivered as ordered. The burgers were of the usual McDonald's quality, but this time even soggier and less appetizing than usual. Overall, a very disappointing visit—just enough for now.

Can't be, not even on a Saturday at 10:30. Waited 25 minutes for a simple meal. What are they going to do when they work in a city like BS or H? As long as that's the case, I'll have my 4-star Italian restaurant for the main course and not at a fast-food restaurant.

This McDonald's – run by Dennis Lampe and Dr. Lampe from Peine – is one of the dirtiest and most poorly managed McDonald's restaurants I know. The same applies to the other branches of these two franchisees (e.g., Uelzen). It's dirty, the restrooms are disgusting, the hand towels are constantly empty, the soap is empty, there are food scraps everywhere, the waste and tray stations are overflowing with trash and stench, the furniture looks worn, sometimes it even smells, the floor is sticky and repeatedly soiled with spilled drinks, etc. The kitchen area also looks incredibly unkempt and disgusting. Most of the employees seem to be on the verge of burnout and a nervous breakdown from the sheer amount of work, and can barely breathe. The burgers are carelessly assembled. The incessant beeping of the machines is unbearable. In summer, it's so hot there that even the employees have to wipe their sweat with paper towels. The two franchisees shouldn't be running a restaurant under these conditions, where hygiene also plays a role. How can bosses be like that? They're probably cutting corners to make as much money as possible for themselves, so they can afford fancy cars, houses, expensive vacations, and expensive watches. TERRIBLE. There are some really well-run McDonald's where attention is paid to hygiene, orderliness, ambiance, employee health, and friendliness, but this one is a disaster. If you want to see the conditions there for yourself, I recommend a visit between 10 p.m. and midnight, preferably on the weekend.

This is the worst McDonalds i have come across all the Middle East and Europe. They served after half and hour and dead cold. The servers at the counter stood clueless. Calling each number manually, not using the screen systems. Unbelievable!

It's their own fault. Anyone who orders online from this company can't be sorry for them. Why isn't this shop completely removed from Lieferando's list? They haven't been complying with the regulations for a long time, and the reviews show that they only have dissatisfied customers!

I ordered food via Lieferando. The email stated that the food would be with me in 50-75 minutes. After more than two hours, I called the restaurant and inquired. I was told they had 25 orders and only one driver. I was "order number 18." Just imagine. I understand the traffic situation and staffing shortages...but if McDonald's isn't able to make a delivery within the stated time, then perhaps it shouldn't be offered at all. I was given the following options: either pick up the food myself, cancel the order, or wait even more hours! That was my last order from McDonald's. Apparently, they can afford to lose customers.

We had to wait almost an hour for our order today...when we asked, it was clear that our order had been messed up. It was incredibly stuffy and dirty in the store. The staff can't be blamed for this fiasco, as they are definitely understaffed...this was our last visit there.

Very bad place. I had to wait over 15 minutes at the checkout even though no one was in front of me. The employees simply ignored me. When I ordered, I had to wait another 20 minutes for my food. Even though I chose table service, I had to pick up the food at the counter. My fries were cold when I got them, and the meat was odd. The employees didn't speak German, and it was very difficult to communicate. I would avoid this McDonald's and get something to eat elsewhere (P.S. I've been here several times, and I've had the same experience every time).

NO!!! Overflowing trash cans, which the carts are carrying with dirty trays, are left to themselves, which has the advantage that you no longer have to put your own trash on top. This way, you can simply leave it on the table. My first attempt was the McDonald's Drive-In. I gave up standing in line after just over five minutes...it didn't go any further. Then I went inside and saw a line in front of the terminals...there were at least six or seven people in front of the order counter, and it didn't go any further. The displays indicating which orders were ready were broken...the restrooms were dirty. I remember it differently from before. The waiting times were also nonexistent a few years ago. The scene I saw wasn't the first time in Altencelle...I experience this phenomenon at other branches as well. If my children and grandchildren didn't keep expressing their desire, McDonald's would be history for me, as a child of the sixties. Compared to back then... But EVERYTHING has gotten worse. And by that, I especially mean ordering at the terminals.

An absolute disaster. Even if you just order a drink and a muffin from the McCafe stand, it takes over half an hour. Employees are overwhelmed, customers are all annoyed, the receipt dispenser at the order counters isn't working, so you don't know which number you're waiting for. We stood right at the drive-thru entrance for almost half an hour. A car in front of us was told twice not to complain because they were so busy. Cars drove away, and people who went into the restaurant walked right back out. Absolutely unfriendly and incompetent staff. Drive a little farther and get a burger somewhere else.

We each placed two orders using the app and specified table number 14. When the food still hadn't arrived after a while, I went to the counter and asked if something had gone wrong. The food had been ready on the trays for 10 minutes and was already cold. The only answer I got was that they didn't have enough staff - then they shouldn't be offering this service. As a customer, I couldn't know that and would have at least expected an apology. On top of that, all of the clearing stations were full to the brim and the tables next to them were also full of trays of rubbish. The restaurant was very messy and dirty. I didn't feel comfortable there and will avoid this McDonald's in the future! That can't be McDonald's's goal!

We ordered just two coffees and a six-piece nugget order – and waited a whopping 15 minutes, even though there were hardly any customers in the store. During that time, we counted nine (!) employees behind the counter, who were more in each other's way than working efficiently. They were shouting loudly for new nuggets, orders seemed to be left unattended or were sent incorrectly, and overall, the team seemed completely overwhelmed – despite the fact that the business was absolutely manageable. I have rarely experienced such an uncoordinated and haphazard approach in a fast-food restaurant. They urgently need to improve their organization and teamwork. This was certainly our last visit to this branch.

We were passing through here. The interior was very dirty, and there was no toilet paper in the restrooms. We had only ordered two coffees and a cookie, for which we waited over 20 minutes. When we asked (because the number display at the front and table service weren't working) whether we had been forgotten, the "manager" shouted at us and didn't help us. Only when we asked for our money back did anything happen. Not recommended.

Drive-in waiting time catastrophic

We didn't get a receipt from the machine, we specifically asked at the cash register, we got our number but it was wrong, we waited 30 minutes for nothing and then got the cold food, we wouldn't come here again when we're on holiday, we'd prefer 0 stars from us 😢

Totally disorganized. Waited 25 minutes for two coffees and a cookie, and then you didn't even get your latte macchiato in a glass, but in a paper cup, even though you chose to eat in.

We placed a large order worth €150 – and unfortunately, it was a disaster. Over 13 burgers were missing from the first delivery. We immediately addressed this and were assured that everything had been corrected. When we got home, we discovered that several items from the order were still missing. For that amount of money, I expect significantly more care. Very disappointing – especially if you're relying on the food, perhaps for a group or celebration. This isn't acceptable.

The store looks really dirty, and the floor is sticky everywhere. And I had strange particles in my Coke Zero.

One star is still too many. I don't even know where to begin. The dirty restrooms without soap... the trash was piled up all the way along an entire table, we had to wait 30 minutes for our order. That's unacceptable for a fast food restaurant. This is by far the worst McDonald's we've ever been to. The employees are completely overwhelmed, every screen in this place is nonfunctional, and we didn't even get a receipt for our order. It's a shame no one takes responsibility for this.

What a wait at the drive-in...the very last place....

I joined the queue at 12:01 AM on a Monday. After only one vehicle moved forward by 12:23 AM, I drove again.

I ate there with my children yesterday, to round off a great day. It really wasn't nice. The restaurant was incredibly dirty. There was food and trash under the tables, and trash and leftovers on the tables. We wanted to eat outside, but unfortunately, there are no umbrellas or shaded areas. There was no ventilation in the restaurant; it was very warm and stuffy. After we ordered, I cleaned our table so we could eat halfway. We got some of the wrong food; the burgers were cold, and the dips were wrong. The return bins were very full and dirty. The restrooms were unusable; the smell and cleanliness were truly abysmal. All in all, this was my last visit to this MC! I strongly advise you not to go!

We ate at the store this evening and were shocked at how dirty the place was. Mayonnaise on the walls and floor (already dried), overflowing return carts so that even the tables in front of them had to serve as storage. Dirty floor and tables, overflowing trash cans. Long wait for the food (30 minutes), almost cold fries, soggy nuggets, not enough sauce on the McDonald's ribs, a poorly and crumpled Big Mac wrapped in paper, the display board broken or turned off, so you couldn't see when it was your turn. Never before had I been to such a dirty and littered McDonald's. There was no place to sit because people were waiting everywhere... the rest of the tables were dirty and sticky... the restrooms were even worse... we waited forever for food, finished three ribs and fries, but the last one took even longer... the result was a cold, expensive meal and two Cokes full of ice cubes... they tasted like water. Kids were screaming because the doors to the outside area were locked. Unfortunately, this will be our last time!

The McDrive has unreasonable wait times. Every order takes at least 5 minutes. With 5-6 cars, you'll literally be standing there for 30 minutes. But if you go in, you'll have your food in under 5 minutes. The processes are catastrophic and have been for years. If you want fast-food, i.e., fast, don't line up at the McDrive. I don't understand how management hasn't improved this problem for years.

A 20-minute wait for two standard products... And they were cold, too. That's unacceptable. And during the wait, we witnessed four complaints. No apology for the long wait. The manager came to the counter to take the payment.

I've been waiting for over 30 minutes for two cheeseburgers! The place is full, and there are only two people picking them up. Instead, an external delivery driver comes in every 10 minutes and brings individual burgers from across the district. A very poor system!!!

I placed an order at 11:30 a.m. for delivery by 12:30 p.m. I called at 12:45 to ask where my order was, as it had been placed an hour earlier. The overwhelmed employee replied, "We only have one driver." At 1:17 p.m., the order still hadn't arrived!

We ordered: What a bummer. We waited over 2.5 hours without any information. Ordered at around 6 p.m. and got our food at 8:30 a.m. - not normal!!!! ... Tried to call the store 36 times but no one answered - what's that??? Another time we wanted to use the drive-thru... I started the stopwatch because it took forever again - 37 minutes!! Other McDonald's do it wonderfully... in the big city, why not this one? We've left so many times in the last year because the line was so long.

It's actually very chic, but all the tables are dirty, and some of the floors are dirty, and the staff is very overwhelmed and unfriendly. We waited an hour for our food, and it was incomplete. The milkshake was spilled, and my daughter got severe stomach cramps and sweating immediately after the visit... that's assault. NEVER AGAIN HERE!!!

Absolutely not recommended. We were there twice now and we'll never go back. We waited over an hour for the food. We ordered at 8:19 p.m. and didn't get our food until after 9 p.m. After repeated inquiries, we were told the order had disappeared but it would be made immediately. The food was ice cold. The cola and drinks tasted of animals. There were insects in the food. All of the burgers had flies and insects in them. The play area was far too small. We all left the place with stomach cramps and nausea. Absolutely disgusting, never again.

Honestly, the state of the store was so squalid that it completely ruined our appetite. I've never experienced anything like it in a McDonald's. Completely unacceptable – this location desperately needs a thorough cleaning and better management.

An unbelievable stench of sewage permeates the dining area from the restrooms in the entrance area. 🤢 Everything is filthy. The staff is hopelessly overwhelmed and clearly untrained or barely trained. The young ladies in the kitchen and at the counter had their hair down to their bottoms in loose ponytails. With every turn, they dragged their hair across the trays, through the fries... All in all, just disgusting.

If I could, I'd give it 0 stars. Every time we were there, something was missing from the drive-thru. This place is an absolute disaster!

Messy service, no help, toilet disaster

As soon as you entered the McDonald's in Celle, there was a palpable sense of "no interest" in the air. Behind the counter: several employees, all seemingly deeply immersed in an internal competition to see who could maintain a disinterested look the longest. The order terminal failed to print the receipt, a minor technical glitch that could be resolved with a simple note – or so you thought. But even after five attempts to relay the information, the printer remained broken and the staff unimpressed. A 15-minute wait at the checkout passed without much happening. Anyone who complained was met with a look that oscillated somewhere between annoyance and an inner desire to quit. And finally, the icing on the cake in the restroom: no soap. Apparently, they assume that fast food also means fast hygiene. A place that raises many questions – for example, how you can disappoint so many guests with so little effort. Update on July 14, 2025: I was at the drive-thru today. Wait time for five cars so far: 22 minutes. I think a car at Volkswagen is built and scrapped faster than a burger at McDonald's. It's supposed to be fast food, they said 😅🤣

Top 10 worst McDonald's in Germany! And again, the burgers are too greasy! The fries are cold and without salt! And the restrooms? What's wrong with you? Absolute hygiene! Disgusting! Why doesn't the franchise partner take care of this????!

The restaurant was very busy at 5 p.m., but the kitchen couldn't keep up with the incoming orders. As a result, the food was cold after the long wait, and the atmosphere was correspondingly chilly. The large number of people waiting made it very hectic. The staff were completely overwhelmed. Finally, we went to the restroom; everything was wet and not recommended.

Substandard, even for fast food. Dirty, no service boards, a locked outdoor area, the wrong sauce on one burger, and the other was practically buried in the iceberg lettuce that was provided. The kitchen area was crying out for a rag all the way to the front of the restaurant, it was so dirty and filthy. I can't recommend this "restaurant" at all and won't stop there again.

Carelessly thrown-together burgers like at almost every McDonald's... I stopped by for a quick bite to eat. There were no napkins or straws available, and the restroom was OK, except there was no soap in the dispenser.

We stood in line at the McDrive today for a very long time and then left without having done anything. Upon inquiry, the restaurant manager told us that he was unfortunately completely understaffed and was not allowed to close the McDrive (!). It's pretty awful to leave the small team there alone like this. I hope the owner reads this. The entire restaurant has unfortunately deteriorated considerably during our previous visits, too. 😔 It's a shame.

Fast food with a twist – you usually wait forever for your order. If you order ice cream with it, you can expect it to melt by the time your meal is ready. After all, the ice cream is prepared first. Unfriendly, extremely slow employees are the norm here.

I ordered a meal I couldn't eat; just looking at it made me gag... The Coke was okay, though...

Narrow entrance and exit. Restrooms are okay, but the restaurant has overflowing tablet storage and trash cans. Cash payment wasn't possible during my visit, and the food preparation and readiness indicator didn't work either. I'll stop by here in the future.

This McDonald's branch is truly disastrous. The employees are yelling at each other, and the embarrassed citizens are piling up in the background. We waited almost an hour for our food.

At first, I thought anyone could have a bad day... But every time, something isn't as planned, which can certainly happen under stress, but if you point it out in a friendly and polite manner, you're just yelled at. Nothing is corrected, and any blame is categorically denied. Unfortunately, it's not clean at all, even when there's nothing going on. I'd rather go somewhere else. What a shame.
