Are you serious? A car in the drive-thru and a 20-minute wait for three burgers?!

The very last time I went to McDonald's was there! I waited a full 55 minutes for my food! Fast-food restaurants? That kind of thing should be banned from Germany! Never again!

Long wait times, unfriendly staff The return cart has been overflowing for an hour, and no one cares. The tables are dirty. The orders were incomplete. I'll never go to this store again.

It couldn't have been worse. Waiting over 10 minutes at the checkout, no one wanted to take your order. Preferably even minus in front of the stars.

Ordered everything at the window and paid for everything but didn’t get everything!

Thanks for nothing. Ordered via app at 10.28. Got the pickup code and finally took your turn at the drive-thru. "Sorry, it's 10:30. Your order is late. Only valid until 10:30." (I had successfully ordered 10.28 and just wanted to pay). The woman at the counter who barely speaks German was so incredibly rude.

Waited 40 minutes in Mc Drive today. Fast food works differently. In addition, you constantly have to park in unusual places...

If you just want to eat something quick at McDonald's, you might want to drive to the next town (it's quicker). We stood in line in the drive-thru for almost 45 minutes at lunchtime on a weekday (5 customers in front of us in total). We only stayed because we had already placed a pre-order. When it was our turn it took another 15 minutes... I've never experienced that before at any Mc D, never again.

The last shop, everything was defective, no printouts of the number, the staff was completely overwhelmed, order numbers were called out, I didn't even get one printed out and it was defective. One can only advise Mr. Lamp to replace his staff here.

Used the drive-thru. Things progressed very quickly. The staff was very friendly.

Very busy "restaurant*, long waiting time (almost 20 minutes). Among other things, we ordered a reusable cup so that we could use it regularly. We also paid for it, but we only got the reusable cup with a cardboard lid. When we asked whether we could get the corresponding Merhweg lid, there was only a curt answer: "We don't have any"... Fries were cold and sticky, burger looked thrown together. This visit was something to get used to. As a former employee, you really have to be ashamed.

Yes, yes, the good fast food restaurants, I just waited with two vehicles for a whopping 15 minutes before I could place my order. That's definitely too long.

This is the slowest "service" I have ever experienced. On average you wait 30 minutes for your tray. This isn't "fast" food!!!!!

Dear McDonald’s team, Today I placed an order with you at 12:08 p.m. (order value: €46.95). Unfortunately, the entire process was more than disappointing: After not receiving a delivery after several hours, we called you. We were told that the driver supposedly delivered the order at 2:28 p.m., but this was not true. According to the statement, the driver should be new to you, but that cannot be an excuse for this process. After another call from us, we were promised to ship the order again. At 3:18 p.m. the order was said to be on the way, and it finally arrived at around 4:10 p.m. - more than four hours after the original order. The food was cold and inedible at this point. To make matters worse, the driver showed no insight or apology. Instead, he behaved extremely unprofessionally and loudly insulted us in the stairwell after we complained (quite rightly) about the late delivery. Fries cold and Mc Flurry melted. I am beyond disappointed with this experience. For a brand like McDonald’s, which is supposed to stand for quality and service, this kind of behavior is absolutely unacceptable.

Went to McDrive on site.. the employee at the counter was the unfriendly thing I've ever seen.. you could tell who wasn't in the mood.. on top of that the order was incomplete.. I'll never go to this store again

Actually, this restaurant didn't even deserve one star! Unfriendly at the counter. No toys at Happy Meal (even though asked) half portion and unfinished fries, cold. Burger cold! So Celle saw us for the last time.

If I could, not even one star, unfriendly employees who even bother you. The food is cold and dry and the machines for ordering have not been giving out receipts for some time and you have no receipt for what you ordered. Also an incredibly long wait for his food. Ice cream was melted before the hot food was even ready.

Apparently the assumption here is that fast food also means fast hygiene. A place that raises many questions - for example, how you can disappoint so many guests with so little effort.

Never seen such a slow McDonalds. 20 minutes queue at the drive in. Then wait 5 minutes for someone to come to the drive in. Switch tried hard. To then only get half of it because you are put to the side for another 10 minutes. That's what I call fast food.

Eating in the restaurant during the Corona period was great and, above all, super quiet. The employees were all friendly too. Absolutley terrible service, cold food, staff attitude with a 20minute wait for so.called fast food. And I wasnt the only one with cold food,lady next to me sent hers back twice.5 years later the service is still terrible. Staff wonder around like they are there just for the money, never table service available.

Dirty, rubbish everywhere, unfriendly and takes forever; even when the store is empty. So all points fulfilled. Even if the lack of staff is often used as an excuse, the guest still pays the full price!

I've worked all over the world, so of course I've eaten at McDonald's all over the world. This is definitely the slowest in the world, and depending on what Katy Perry says when she comes back from space, the galaxy. My first visit there was shortly after the Corona quarantine was lifted. I said to the person in front of me in line, “Man, it’s good to be out of the house!” He said, “What do you mean?” He had never heard of Covid-19, he had been waiting for his cheeseburger since before the pandemic. They asked Charlie Bronson what it was like to survive 25 years in solitary confinement. He said, "I could handle that, Mate. I once tried ordering a Smart Menu at the B3 McDonald's drive-thru." Otherwise it's fine. The food is pretty good, the customer service is friendly. 3 stars.

No matter what time of day it is always very crowded. I just find the store stressful and dirty. The staff is not very friendly. I don't like coming here and would like to see a second McDonald's in Celle.

Waited half an hour for takeaway food. It was pointed out that payment had to be made first. Then waited another 20 minutes. Still nothing...

I placed an order - and had to wait 20 minutes! A huge line and only one person at the counter. This is a disaster. I wasted so much time – would have been better off stopping somewhere else. I absolutely cannot recommend stopping here.

Unfortunately the food was not brought to the table even though I chose it when ordering. When I asked, they just said: "It doesn't exist." Without justification. There wasn't much going on so it wasn't understandable for me. It was dirty in the restaurant. No table was wiped, there were stickies everywhere. When I asked if the tables could be wiped down, all I got was a shrug. Really a shame and really disgusting!

Today was the last time I ate there. Pre-ordered via app should be picked up at the drive. Still on the road at the red light we confirmed that we were there. It took over 30 minutes to get to the intercom! And that even though there was only 1 (!!!) car in front of us. The employee spoke quite annoyed. After 41 minutes we had cold food. Craziness! Never again!!!

Burger dry, cold and thrown together! Cheese not even melted. The employees love their work! Every time something is missing, even if it's the toy in the Happymeal! The place is dirty, if not downright filthy. The burgers are simply slapped together, so you have to assemble them properly when you open them. The slowness and unfriendliness are hard to beat... constantly giving the wrong order or always missing something, just plain annoying... Truly beyond words

This is by far the most disgusting McDonald's I have ever been to. The food tastes warmed up 5 times, if it is warm at all. The entire store resembles a garbage dump!!! Everything dirty, sticky, tasty and full of rubbish. The very last shop.

I've never seen such a dirty shop in my life. Every single table was dirty with leftover food. There was no response to the complaint. The employees also seem to be completely overwhelmed. I won't set foot in that again.

Today 03/15/25 at 4:30 a.m. ordered food, super unfriendly staff.. Ordered from Mc Drive Definitely never coming here again.

Just ate here and ordered plant based nuggets. All well and good until the person bites the nugget and it's chicken. When we wanted to return them, we were told that there was a sticker on them and that they were plant based nuggets. So not only did we get the wrong food, but they also tried to play us for a fool. We still got new ones, but unfortunately it's still absolutely impossible. If you already have it in your range, you should sell it and take it into consideration. There are also people with intolerances.

Employees work very slowly. 20 minutes in line to order at McDrive is far too long. And waiting for the order takes at least 20 minutes.

It takes a very long time just standing in line

ALWAYS check your Mcdrive order! I get ripped off every other time I go there. But two stars remain because it is MY stupidity that keeps trusting these scammers.

It's Sunday at 9:55 a.m. and I'm currently standing at the MacDrive waiting for a small cappuccino and a small coffee with 3x milk. I placed the order at 9:42am!!!! The young ladies are having fun inside while I wait here. There was a brief disagreement because the young, heavily made-up colleague could not clearly communicate the code query in the MacDonalds app and entered the ordered things incorrectly, so that a distant colleague had to come to cancel something and/or help. Wonder what's WRONG here!!!! 7 min. Maximum waiting time for a burger? 13 for two small hot drinks? I think I'm crazy! If I don't receive any feedback, I will contact Munich

Never waited so long for my food.

We were there on February 28th, around nine in the evening. Checked the rating on Google beforehand - it was an incredible 3.1 points. Despite the low rating, the children wanted to go... What can I say, the 3.1 points were fully justified and actually 3.1 points too many. Table service didn't work, the table number plates weren't there. So we ordered to be picked up at the counter. The display monitors were off and the employees had to call up every order. After 20 minutes of waiting, our order was ready. Checked at the table - all sauces are missing. Nobody in the branch had probably heard of cleaning; there were leftover food and used napkins on the floor at several tables. Toilets - no thanks, bad bad bad. The trend is also clearly visible; the rating is currently 2.7 points.

I was at the slide and got stuck, but luckily in the slide, like me, was my savior, my hero, my everything, my half-eaten Krabby Patty. “AUA JUST GOT STUNG BY A BEE” No matter, I'll just tell you more: There I sat, squeezed between plastic and panic, clutching my Krabby Patty like a sacred talisman. The ketchup slowly dripped onto my hand, but I couldn't move. Suddenly I heard a noise behind me - a slight sliding, a gentle squeak, followed by a muffled "UFF". I turned my head as far as I could and saw her: hope in human form. A seven-year-old child wearing a Power Rangers hat and holding a Capri Sun. His eyes met mine. No words were exchanged because in that moment we both knew we were brothers in spirit - prisoners of the slide, warriors of the plastic shaft. He pulled out his Capri Sun, bit the straw with an elegance I never imagined possible, and took a deep sip. Then, without hesitation, he held out his hand to me. But right at that moment... BZZZ – “AUA ANOTHER BEE, WHAT KIND OF DAY IS THIS?!” I dropped the Krabby Patty in shock. Slowly, in slow motion, I watched as it slipped from my fingers, spun through the air, did a perfect 360° turn, and then... just disappeared into nothingness. Game over. But no. I couldn't give up now. I gathered my strength, ignoring the pain in my foot, the tears in my eyes, the bees that seemed to have declared me an enemy. I grabbed the Power Rangers kid's hand and with my combined strength... #WOW

There is always a lack of food - this is the fourth time. I wonder how you can forget something in just one Happy Meal. Especially since there wasn't even much going on yet. That was the last time I was there.

It was just disgusting, the employees ate the food and then continued to prepare it without washing their hands. Barely Customers and I waited over 20 minutes (didn't order much). The food was very cold. Never again!

Cleaning is done too rarely, displays at the food counter are always broken

That was the worst McDonald's I've ever seen. It was 1:30 a.m. but that was no excuse, there was garbage on the floor everywhere and it wasn't possible to sit down in the corners because there were still trays and garbage on every table. The people who came in after us also shook their heads and even took photos. I'm now going to write to McDonald's customer service because that's absolutely not possible.

Very very bad service... The employees are totally overwhelmed. But fooling around works great. The store was well attended. Couldn't keep up with the orders. Store totally dirty... Your shoes were already stuck to the floor. Just disgusting conditions. There was food everywhere.

I was there for breakfast today. I placed the order via the app, with table service. After a short while, “table number 5” was called out from the counter. A little surprised as to whether table service now means that you pick up your own food, we stubbornly sat there and had the food brought to us. My pancakes, which were only supposed to take a few minutes, didn't come until I asked, about 15 minutes later. I had to order a spoon for my chai latte, somehow the syrup that had settled at the bottom had to be mixed with the milk. But I should have left that alone, the chai was so sweet you couldn't drink it.

Cold, wrong/missing food, toys no longer available without prior information. About 30 hours after the visit I had a stomach bug and my husband did too a little later. With all the reviews here, I'm not sure if that didn't come from here... Definitely the last visit.

I don't understand McDonald's main office, with so many negative reviews, not to accept the concession from the owners. The reputation of McDonald's is being extremely damaged by this restaurant in Celle... the staff is impossible, totally unprofessional, you feel like you are not valued as a customer and are portrayed as a supplicant. Some of the staff don't speak German and unfortunately I have to say that with a migration background... I would be happy if the management took the many negative reviews seriously. I wanted to write directly to McDonald's complaint office .. Unfortunately it doesn't work at the moment.

Under no circumstances can I recommend this branch. The price displayed online and in the branch each differ by 10 cents. At the checkout they even charge an additional 40 cents for the MC Rib. The complaint is dismissed on the grounds that it will be adjusted and increased the next day. The complaint to the head office was only answered two days later and dismissed on the grounds that they had asked the branch. The higher prices are supposedly shown here. Without words....

Unfortunately it's always completely overcrowded, so eating there is no fun at all. Getting to the drive-in can sometimes take over 30 minutes depending on the local traffic.

35 minutes for 3 simple cheeseburgers? There were only 3 more orders in front of me. Did you have to slaughter the beef first? It would be better to continue on to Hanover or Soltau, as it wouldn't have taken 5 minutes to see the crowds there.

Unfriendly staff: When I asked, I was looked at with annoyance and was told that there was no table service today - even though the option could be booked in the app. Cold food: Since the order had been sitting unnoticed for a while, the food was only lukewarm. Incorrect packaging: My food was packed in old McPlant Nuggets boxes from last year - completely unprofessional. Hygiene issue: Tables are not wiped down after guests have eaten. Crumbs and leftovers everywhere. Conclusion: An absolutely chaotic shop with poor service, unfriendly staff and poor hygiene. Definitely not a recommendation!

Unfortunately I have to give one star... After a long wait I got my burgers (cheeseburger and double cheeseburger) and fries. The fries were actually hot and crispy. The two burgers were freshly made, but were at most lukewarm and even the cheese hadn't melted yet. Just because I was driving the car, I didn't return the junk.

I just had a drink. That was good.

Really bad. Dirt and garbage everywhere. Toilets at rest area level, rotten fries were lying on the floor in the toilet as proof that they hadn't been cleaned for at least 3 days. Paper rolls are on the damp edge of the sink, soap is no longer refilled, instead there is a liter bottle just sitting there. Ordering via the app doesn't work, nor do the displays that show the finished orders. After 50 minutes the food was ready to be picked up, so you have to plan on standing at the front and waiting for that long... 5 mistakes in the order and everything except the fries was cold and sticky. My tip as a cellarer: drive to Schwarmstedt and conveniently order to the table using the app. You even save time despite the journey... And everything there has been fresh and warm so far!

The burger was great, the fries were unfortunately cold... As was the entire dining room 🥶 it was at an arctic temperature - we've never felt so cold at McDonalds while eating...

Worst McDonald's I know in winter, the heating is broken and the food is cold. The toilets were probably last cleaned two days ago and paper dispensers were torn from the wall...

Actually, one star is already too much for the food served. The Double Cheeseburger and the Royal TS were cold, just like the two Mc Curly Fries, the Mc Crispy was missing the cheese. The 9x nuggets we ordered were not handed over at all. Don't forget to hand out or eat food and it seems to be a system in this branch anyway. During four restaurant visits in the past, something was missing from every order. For us it was the last visit to this Mc Restaurant.

Last shop! The store manager and the management of the mental asylum in particular surpass everything with her unfriendly and presumptuous manner. It's a shame that as a customer you are assumed to be lying by a manager who doesn't even understand you 100%. As bad as it was, they would have to give me minus stars.

Honestly, the place has gotten really bad. The flower vases on the tables don't help either. If you even see them with the garbage piling up everywhere. And it's nice that the employees sweep behind the counter and the customer area is full of dirt. Tables not wiped, floor full of dirt, staff speaking poor German, goods missing. At least this time the salad was fresh. Management really failed here.

Today again negative low point. Wanted to have a nice, tasty finish at McDonalds after attending an event. Started again with a 15 minute wait, even though there was only 1 car with us. Slowest Mc in Germany. Then the guy at the 2nd window had a clown for breakfast. Really stupid. Ordered a shake. He's like: here's your Coke!! Me: We wanted shake. Him: it was a joke. Here is their Mezzo Mix. Really now? He said: it was a joke again. Is the shake. So complete bullshit!! Then we had to continue to the layby because the food wasn't ready. But they were all standard products. I drove off. He shouted after him: Wait, it was a joke too! Incredible. We stood there for another 10 minutes until our cold food came!! This is completely unacceptable. I hope his boss reads this! So much money left and just taken for a ride.

If out of 10 employees behind the counter, 2 are busily completing the orders and the rest are standing together in a big bunch, shouting, laughing and chatting - I'll never come back! Had to wait 30 minutes for our takeaway food. Worst service ever!

We've already experienced a lot at McD, but today was the negative crowning glory... We actually just wanted to order 2 lattes with 2 cakes in a duo, not available at the terminal, ok, tried to order in person. Nobody knew how it worked at the checkout. Staff unfriendly and not competent. Then finally after over 30 minutes the two cakes plus latte arrived, spoon dirty, latte almost cold... Customer feedback via email, I'm excited... We won't be coming back anyway!
