Burger King in Celle

This Burger King is unfortunately severely understaffed. Sometimes there's a 20-minute wait just to place an order and then a 30-minute wait for the food. Management urgently needs to hire new staff!

Update November 29, 2025: Here again. Unfortunately, not much has changed, except for the service. It's gotten worse. "Friendliness is a virtue... But you can get by without it here!"

Never again! Half the order is forgotten every time! The bag is filled so full that you can't even check what you've ordered.

As in other fast food restaurants, the staff were very nice during our visit.

The food tastes disgusting. The staff is strange and doesn't understand anything. Everything is dirty.

The wait time was a disaster at 5:30 pm! Approximately 25 minutes for 3 burgers! Absolutely unacceptable!

The quality is very poor! I was there for the last time on Thursday and will avoid this place in the future. The server dropped two fries on the floor while filling the bowl, picked them up, and then threw them back. The burger was cold and the cheese wasn't melted.

Extremely unfriendly and incompetent staff. Part of the order was completely wrong. Part of it was incomplete. If you ask, you're looked at as if you've done something wrong. The napkins and straws in the self-service area were missing and weren't refilled even when asked. They were also missing from the order.

No problems at BK so far, although it's often busy. Cleanliness is okay, prices are the same as at all other branches ;-)

Very clean, the burgers could be a bit hotter, as could the fries. Still, it's very good compared to the rest of the country.

If you already have a drive-thru, it should be staffed even if the restaurant is full. Not everyone wants to eat in the restaurant, but rather continue their journey on the highway.

It's unbelievable how badly you're treated here! The "manager," Susi, is the epitome of rudeness and incompetence. She doesn't even know her own products, responds rudely to simple questions, and gives the impression that the customers are just a nuisance. A manager who has neither expertise nor a hint of customer service has absolutely no place in a position like that. Anyone who behaves like that ruins the entire reputation of the store. Never again!

Food is Burger King, after all—you can do it every now and then. But this isn't the first time the place has been massively overwhelmed by the crowd. I've been waiting here for 25 minutes for my order (two meals and a burger separately). It's nice that a good 10 people who ordered after me have already gotten their food. Fast food... I don't know. So, the food is just coming. If I hadn't said anything 8 minutes ago, it would probably still be in limbo. Addendum: My Kebab Lover Chicken and the Chili Cheese Tortilla tasted good (both were my first attempts). Unfortunately, my wife's Big King was cold. Apparently, they hadn't forgotten it, unlike the rest of the order 😑 I don't know why this Burger King is so bad when 5 or 6 customers actually come in at the same time. I'm almost afraid the staff is very short-staffed.

Hello, I ordered three double woppers yesterday. A 45-minute wait, as I said, was due to a staff shortage (there are enough skilled workers here), then a torturous night. Three times, a great result, and once documented. Unfortunately, it's not recommended.

Unfortunately, that didn't work. One employee had to handle the entire service on Sunday afternoon alone and was – understandably – visibly annoyed. When a coffee was entered incorrectly, the shift manager canceled the entire order and disappeared without a word – thus invalidating the coupons. Preparing four coffees and two portions of fries in the empty restaurant took another 10-15 minutes. In the meantime, we sat at poorly wiped tables and in stuffy air. My suggestion: digital ordering kiosks to relieve the strain on employees, regular ventilation, and more thorough cleaning. Unfortunately, not recommended – only for takeout.

You can hardly blame the only employee behind the counter that evening, but the burger looked like someone had stepped on it, the Coke was only two-thirds full, and some of the outside lighting was off, which didn't make reading the menu any easier. And the intercom was a challenge! Unfortunately, it fulfills every cliché.

Servi e is a absolute disgrace, most of the staff stood around joking while customers walk away. Seems tk be a local teenage gang meeting up outside the store . No wonder customers prefer Mc Donald's.

Strawberry milkshake...isn't what it's supposed to be. Just white, tasteless ice cream. It wasn't even drinkable.

I got a warm, still Coke. Upon request, I got a new one, still still and also warm. The colleague came back and said, "Sorry, the machine can't do any more."

Like a third-class snack bar. It's 30 degrees Celsius outside and inside! Not even ice in the Coke, service is exceptionally slow. The atmosphere is unbelievably disgusting. Burger King really needs to do something here! No Burger King feeling. Nothing, nothing. It's stuffy inside, and the employees are barely there in this heat. Stay away from here. There are hardly any customers in front of me, yet the wait is extremely long.

Cobwebs from bottom to top. Fries are shit. Real crap. The place smells like piss. If it were possible, I would give it -5 stars.

We wanted to order something at 10:45 p.m. because we were hungry. After waiting 10 minutes, we were told they only had drinks and ice cream?!?! Over an hour before closing time? Yeah, right!

Very slow service, but friendly and attentive. Some of the food was cold. It doesn't meet the definition of "fast" food.

Friday evening, 8 p.m. One employee at the cash register, one in the drive-up. Extremely rude. There were three cars ahead of us in the drive-up, and it took 30 minutes before we could even order. When I asked for mayo, I got just a curt "sorry, we're out of mayo" – at a fast-food restaurant, I expect basics like sauces to be available or at least alternatives to be offered. As for the wait: Despite only three cars in the drive-thru and two customers inside, we had to wait a full 20 minutes for our food. That's way too long for a fast-food restaurant—especially when it wasn't obviously very busy. The staff seemed unmotivated and rather overwhelmed, even though the place was barely busy. Overall, unfortunately, it wasn't a good experience—neither with the service nor with the food. I won't be coming back.

We were at the store on August 2, 2025, at 12:30 AM. When we tried to place our order, we were told it was 12:30 AM and only drinks were being sold. When we asked the manager, Ms. Hiba, we were told that they had completely run out of plant-based items and that everything was sold out.

Absolutely unfriendly, old rolls—only the ambiance is standard for Burger King. Waiting times and customer service are highly embarrassing.

The employees were all overwhelmed and served all the burgers without tomatoes without informing the customers. Not because they didn't have any tomatoes, but because they weren't cut, was the answer when asked. After a 15-minute wait, the burgers came back without them. Unfortunately, the Coke was extremely warm, presumably because no ice cubes were frozen.

Burger King, yes, burgers are better, fries are better, milkshakes are better, and the coffee is now even better than at the Golden Seagull. Regarding this Burger King, the green coating on the burger seemed crisper and fresher than at others.

You get a bag like that in your car with something already smeared on it. And the Coke was still and warm. The lettuce on the crispy chicken salad was already brown.

Today I got something to eat via the drive-thru for the first time in a long time. I haven't experienced anything so unfriendly in a long time. No please, no thank you, just an unbelievable face. She was soooo keen to work and really liked being with people. I'd say she'd chosen the wrong profession. When I got home (a 5-minute drive), I unpacked the food... the burger was freezing cold... still Coke, etc. I didn't feel like driving out and complaining again, BUT what I do know is that it was the last time I'll ever spend my money there... even one star is too many.

Sorry... So far ahead... Much further than the employees in this "fast food" (remember that) restaurant. I just wanted a burger!!! Just entering the restaurant gave me that feeling again... "I'm on my own here." Good. I admit that I had to get my bearings first, since I don't go to MC and Burger regularly. Now I was standing there alone in front of the checkout counter... And waited... Waited.... After exactly 3 minutes, an employee who had completely ignored me finally came over and poured a drink! Great, after 5 minutes, an annoyed employee came over to me and wanted to know what I wanted in a language I could hardly understand. Yay. Order placed and we can start right away... Well, or so I thought. .. I somehow waited what felt like 10 minutes until I got a great response when I asked: Hey, we're busy here. Don't be so fussy if it takes longer... Okay. But there was no one there other than the customers in the car!? Unfriendly and completely clueless Never

By far the worst fast food restaurant in the world!

I only tried the drive-thru. The outside area isn't well-maintained. Ordering was a bit slow, as it was difficult to understand anything. The food was delivered relatively quickly. Unfortunately, the food didn't taste good. It was cold.

Not even worth a star!!! Still carbonated Coke, but upon notification, a new Coke was poured. Again, still carbonated... There's no other explanation: machine problem. Man, man, get your business under control. It feels like you don't even want satisfied customers. Simply abysmal.

Unfortunately, the restaurant lacked air conditioning. Not a good choice for the hottest day of the year. The medium portion of fries was so small that I even asked for more. And the chicken nuggets tasted slightly sour. We didn't eat them. Unfortunately, they were nothing and just cost a lot of money.

The cleanliness of the tables and the dining area leaves something to be desired. All the tables are greasy and covered in food residue, just like the floor! The staff seems disinterested and unfriendly! Especially the young employees! The food tasted okay, and the wait time was acceptable!

I should have known beforehand! Despite the fact that it wasn't very busy, I had to wait 20 minutes for two ridiculous burgers, onion rings, and a drink! The Whopper I ordered without tomato obviously had tomato on it! Due to the long wait, the onion rings were almost cold. I couldn't use a coupon code; it just doesn't work. So I stupidly paid the regular price. According to the internet, Burger King is also a Payback partner, but not in this branch. NEVER AGAIN!!!

First and last time there. We waited at least 20 minutes for food, and then one of our burgers came without sauce. The fries and burger were lukewarm. They swapped them quickly and easily, but that shouldn't have happened. The team seems listless and not properly trained; they have a lot of catching up to do.

I had no idea that a veggie tortilla could be so delicious. Very good service from motivated and friendly staff. This time, I got a real bargain with coupons... but it was no less good for that. Thank you...

Everything was great. I'm a vegetarian and I don't lack anything.

It's just a fast-food restaurant. The ice cream machine is often broken. The tables are sometimes sticky, but for a quick snack, it's doable.

Worst store I've ever been to! The first time we waited over an hour for 2 burgers, cancellation was apparently no longer possible. The second time I ordered 3 things, forgot one and then got the completely wrong burger. The older woman is absolutely unfriendly and was then only complained about and of course there was no apology. Wouldn't recommend this store, I'd rather go to the other BurgerKing or Mcdonald's, there's no point.

Unfortunately the waiting times are very long. The employees seem to have to take on a lot of tasks at the same time and can't really keep up. Other BK branches are technically better positioned. For example, at this branch it is not possible to place the order independently via a touchscreen, but must be placed directly at the checkout, which means additional time expenditure for the employees. But everything about the food was great :)

The last shit! Ordered two burgers and one fries, received one burger and two fries. Back again, complained, received burger, set off again. Noticed on the drive that I received a chili cheese burger without cheese. I didn't feel like turning back anymore, the fries were cold by now. Smooth 6!

This shop needs to be destroyed. The tables haven't seen a rag in the last 2 weeks and are stuck. There was no soap in the men's toilet and the dry device is broken, which means your hands stay greasy. The food wasn't bad but I wasn't impressed

A classic Burger King. Nothing more, nothing less. I was back after a long time, and the food was very good this time. Everything was very fresh and as tasty as it used to be (in a good way). The staff is very friendly, but takes far too long to prepare an order, even when there are only two customers in line. Unfortunately, the tables and all the seating are very worn, and some are broken, almost shoddily repaired. In general, everything seemed a bit dirty. And it was showing its age and should be renovated. I'll be back again from time to time.

And the food at BURGER KING isn't so great and delicious that you might have to spend 45-60 minutes (including queuing, ordering, picking up) for it! With the best will in the world, not! There is too much competition for that in the fast food sector in Celle. In addition......... there was no sign of cleanliness anywhere. Overflowing return carts (a lot of it was already on the floor) and the tables... I won't say anything about that now. I definitely wouldn't have eaten anything there! I would like to address the topic of “shortage of staff” right away. I personally saw 4 employees. Now I am a 63 year old man. Maybe I'm no longer the target group of such fast food chains. I will also explain this: It took 3 young men who were ahead of me 12 minutes to place their orders. Background: the cashier knew these guests and people were joking and joking around. OF COURSE NOT IN GERMAN!! Without words! For me personally, the following has crystallized: respect cannot be learned; You have to earn respect! For me personally, this store is so great!!!

There are no ordering terminals and only a few products are displayed on the screens behind the checkout and are constantly being updated. Of these, only 3 or 5 worked. Products and their prices are only listed on a poster in the corner, but probably not completely. This makes the ordering process more difficult. Why don't all products with individual prices and menu prices be displayed large on the screens like before? We drove back without ordering anything.

The service left a lot to be desired. What happened there was absolutely not possible.

Long waiting times even though the store is empty

I was back in the store today after 3 months and I was totally surprised! Great team focused on processing orders! Store full and no queue! Excellent treatment of your own employees! Special orders have been fulfilled!

It's just a Burger King, don't expect much, but you won't be very disappointed either.

A man orders 2 ice cream on the drive in, waits at the window for the order and hears from the kitchen "it's quicker, the customer is stressful" ..... That wasn't true in the least, I said it when the woman at the window said it would take a while be it full that this is not a problem!! When I received my order and kindly commented that I had ordered the ice cream with Oreo, the man shouted at me angrily that this was not true and that I shouldn't scream. I was so amazed that I couldn't think of anything to say at first. Finally I got my ice cream back just as I ordered it. But that wasn't enough, two more employees came to the window and said just keep driving and don't stress. I really understand that it's not nice to work so long on weekend evenings, but treating customers like that and accusing you of something that wasn't the slightest bit wrong is beyond me. A visit to this branch is really not recommended, which is a shame.

It's the same thing over and over again! There were two of us there and we ordered two ice creams on the drive. First you waited longer than usual for your order (you're used to waiting times there), then when you were preparing it you were told that you were "putting it under stress" and after you received your order and you kindly pointed out that something was missing from the ice cream, You are told not to scream right away (no one screamed)! People understand that they are understaffed, there is a lot of rush and the resulting waiting time, but I find it an absolute disgrace on the part of the staff to have shouted at you or caused you stress, which is absolutely none of the above! It's incredibly frightening to get completely burnt patties with 3 burgers :/ Instead of plant base nuggets you get chili cheese nuggets. Impossible for the price. Almost no sauce on the burgers and there's no need to talk about the cheese. The salad was completely missing from my burger. And now for comparison purposes this picture is advertised and I got it next to it. Never again. Would give 0 stars if I could.

Just terribly bad. Long waiting time, cold food and wrong burgers. Staff just overwhelmed. All the orders that were in front of us had something to complain about, be it not getting a coke or the wrong order. Unfortunately, I can only advise against going to this Burger King. The employees are incredibly unfriendly and seem very overwhelmed. I had to complain about my order three times with the result that the milk in the milkshake was completely bad and sour, the burgers were cold and absolutely carelessly put together and the employees were absolutely unreasonable and annoyed despite their own mistakes. I was in the drive about a quarter of an hour before closing time and was told in the most unfriendly way: “We don’t have anything left, we’re closing!” Bye!!!" I have never been treated as badly as a customer as I was in this restaurant. Very unfriendly and absolutely unprofessional. Too bad. But Mc. Donald’s is happy for my money too

Unfriendly staff, makes young people wait forever

The food is just BK, the fries weren't ready here. It all takes a very long time. It is relatively loud in the restaurant and there is a draft. Crowns redeemed but the milkshake wasn't available... Crowns gone.

A visit to this store is an experience. Unfortunately, not a good thing. Extremely dirty and substandard service awaits customers here. We tried to place an order and only had 2 people in front of us. Still it took 30 minutes. Another 25 minutes until the order was ready. Result: lukewarm burgers and cola with barely any noticeable carbon dioxide. It is only advisable to stay away from this place. Unfortunately there was no apology from the employees.

Food is actually good if it wasn't constantly cold. It was pointed out again and again that after saying 3 times that the burgers or fries were cold, they were supposedly freshly made and they were cold even after 4 times. Something like that doesn't work at all. Service doesn't even get one star.

Today I had to wait 20 minutes before I could even place an order in the store. While the drive was processed in just a few minutes, people never had to wait longer than 3 minutes....cheer Then wait another 10 minutes until I had the order (as I said, IN the store) What can I say...the entire food was only lukewarm to cold. The store won't see me again, it's slacked off so much. And for expensive money 😡

You come there and stand in the drive for quite a long time, even though the place was relatively empty. Then you order a Big King XXL and a Longchicken with Cola and fries as a coupon, plus a 9 piece Chilli Cheese Nuggets. Drives home and then wonders what the people are like. The Big King XXL in long chicken paper and vice versa. It doesn't matter, but you already know what's going on. Everything has been organised, and now you can relax and eat the chilli cheese nuggets. What did I get? Veggie chicken nuggets. If I wanted them, I would order them too. How can you mix that up? Completely different things and how you get the idea when I screw in a Big King XXL together with Long Chicken is not clear to me either.

Unfortunately, a total failure. Service overwhelmed, food cold and waiting forever. The whole store smelled burnt, but fans were available. Not in this store again

I'm actually not one to write a review for a Burger King. We were in the branch here in Celle today, December 1st, 2024. I've never experienced anything like that. The staff was very unfriendly from the first moment. In fact, there wasn't much activity in the restaurant. After about 15 minutes we got our food. The next employee was also anything but friendly. The disillusionment continued seamlessly. When we arrived at the table, all the burgers were ice cold. One more thing is wrong. The cola was warm and non-carbonated. When we complained, we were treated very rudely. After another ten minutes we cautiously asked about the new burgers. Then we could let ourselves get messed up next time. The second attempt with the burgers was reasonably warm. In short: never again! I've never experienced anything this bad at Burger King!!

Was there eating. Was very well received by the manager Susi. She was so hardworking and prepared everything so quickly. The best manager in all of Germany!! Only to recommend.
