Dude, how can it happen to you that something is always missing? You have a crappy tablet with the damn order on it and yet there is always something missing.

So, we waited more than 40 minutes for our order....that's too long...food is okay, but waiting time makes the experience bad

The interior of McDonald's is very chic and newly renovated, but it's truly astonishing how often items are missing or incorrect when ordering. Furthermore, there's an incredibly rude and rude woman working the drive-through—always in a bad mood, and if you point out a mistake to her, she reacts extremely aggressively. For example, in an order for 20 nuggets, all three requested sauces were incorrect. When I politely pointed this out and told her which sauces I had actually chosen, she snatched the three sauces out of my hand, threw them in the trash, and gave me back two of the sauces I wanted and another incorrect sauce. At this point, I was fed up with her behavior, wanted to avoid further food waste, and left.

Unclean, food cold, salad wilted, Coke stale. The restroom is dirty, and there's no toilet paper or soap. Never again!

The restaurant appears unclean; the tables are smeared with food residue, the floor is dirty, and the seats are sticky. The staff obviously doesn't wipe down the tables, and the floor isn't cleaned of leftovers. I didn't notice anyone here maintaining hygiene and order. The food was cold, the fries were soggy, the salad was wilted, and the Coke was still stale—the ice cubes had already melted. The restroom is dirty; there's no toilet paper or soap for handwashing. Definitely a no-go!

I'm a tourist and visited this restaurant for the first time. The food was really delicious, but unfortunately, the service was very disappointing. My friend, who speaks German, had left for a moment, and I was left sitting alone at the table—right next to the door. A waitress came over to me and said something in German. Since I don't understand the language, I couldn't answer. After a moment, she asked again. I just nodded, wanting to explain in English that I didn't understand her—but she started shaking her head and rolling her eyes in annoyance. That was very unpleasant and disrespectful. Just because someone doesn't understand the language, you shouldn't treat them that way—especially not in a tourist area. Apparently, the waitress thought I had closed the door, which she didn't like. But the truth is: I didn't touch the door at all. She should have clarified the situation first before making a judgment.

I had to wait 25 minutes for my order. The service and staff aren't very good.

Unfortunately, a very unfriendly old German woman at the cash register. I actually ordered a meal with a glass of Coca-Cola included, but they were out, so I didn't get one (GDR vibes). They couldn't even make an exception and give me a reusable cup instead of the Coke glass. The food was okay. The nuggets were very tasty, the Big Tasty Bacon BBQ was carelessly thrown in (nothing like the picture), but it tasted good, the fries were cold... Unfortunately, a below-average experience. I've had much better at McDonald's.

I went to this fast-food restaurant because of the highly touted McDonald's collectible glass jars, only to be disappointed to discover that this McDonald's doesn't offer any glass jars or any compensation for them. Since most of the coupons couldn't be converted, it was pointless to download the app. The employees weren't helpful, and even the shift manager was annoyed by our questions. We weren't full either.

"We don't have any oat milk right now." It's amazing that something like that still happens in a billion-dollar franchise. No oat milk >> no stars. There's one because the sun is shining.

The service is a bit average, they didn't want to give a cigarette for an iced latte because it's only for shakes, I found absurd. Sometimes they want to follow rules that harm the customer. But otherwise the quality and variety of all Macdonalds.

Very nice personel, especially the young little lady in the drive was so friendly and professional , the food was also delicious and fresh, good environment in the night hours, warmly recommended😃

The employee with a bald head and tattoos was very nice and the food was prepared quickly even though it was so busy. Fries too limp.

Food tastes good and staff is friendly. I'm just extremely disappointed that you can no longer change your baby. The boss should have a new changing room built because eating there with a baby will be difficult without a changing room.

Was there last week and had to wait 15 minutes at the drive in despite pre-ordering and no business. When I unpacked my order I noticed that all the sauces and my mc wrap were missing.

Were there on a Monday lunchtime, very relaxed, not too crowded. Lots of seating inside and outside, also a very attractive interior. The food was very good, warm, freshly prepared, not so carelessly slapped together with the burger, but rather well and proportionately packed. The staff was also very friendly and quick. The drink even included ice cubes, something that is rarely available these days.

You have to wait 30 minutes for food without any movement. Nobody is in a hurry.

Das war mein letzter Besuch in dieser Filiale: Bestellung aufgegeben am Terminal, da der Mc Café - Stand nicht besetzt war. Nach 15 Minuten mal nachgefragt, ob der Stand auch bedient wird. Dann gab es den bestellten Kuchen nicht mehr. Kommentar eines Mitarbeiters: "Da muss man doch vorher nachschauen, was es noch in der Auslage gibt" - in unverschämten Ton gegenüber wahrscheinlich verblödetem Kunden. Dann wollte man uns den Kaffee im Pappbecher geben, obwohl wir im Café trinken bestellt hatten. ... alles in allem sehr ernüchternd mit völlig überforderten Personal

Just drove home with the order and realized that a whole Happy Meal was missing. They always forget something - just annoying!

Very neat Mc Donalds very nice staff

It is one fast food restaurant among many, relatively clean and the employees are friendly. The interior furnishings are also quite ok. But the play area for the little ones had to suffer. With only two game boards on the wall, it quickly becomes boring for the children.

I wanted to have food delivered, but in the middle of the ordering process they simply closed the order acceptance facility. Then it doesn't offer or provides different delivery times. I've never had anything like that before.

It takes a little getting used to after the renovation, but the service is still friendly and nice and the quality of the food is as good as usual. Insider tip: The freshly brewed coffee is outstanding. Great.

I ordered Mac Crispy Spicy but he gave me normal pork meat 😬🥵

Went with 4 people on Monday evening and we were allowed to take our dog with us. Super!! Everything came to our table hot and fresh. Everyone was very nice and friendly.

I've never experienced anything as unfriendly as there. Staff unable to get two coupons on one bill. Why does it work in every other branch? Then you would be even more cheeky. Never again.

I was at the Mcdrive and twice the same blonde old woman at the window, she was unfriendly, didn't say hello, you can have the feelings, she throws the order over the window.

I don't know if it's always so full here, I'm not here in Jena enough for that. But a well-equipped McDonald's, although with very long waiting times (20 minutes) despite ordering and paying at the terminal. A little tip for perhaps slightly fuller visitors (like me or more) - avoid going to the toilet! Extremely narrow cabins where you need a standing plan to get the door with yourself in the cabin. When you finally manage to sit down, you end up sitting on the trash can at the same time. Bad planning! Except for the waiting time and sanitary facilities, it's ok! Staff is friendly.

This McDonalds used to have a great numbering system with 2 working monitors where you never waited longer than 5 minutes, even when there was a lot of traffic... now people who whisper the number in broken German after you've waited 15 minutes for a McMenu Small next to 20 other people who crowd in the serving area and also harass the employees (without meaning to) because they have to go through the middle when table service has been ordered. It's just horrible who came up with such a bad redesign

It is very cold and fast there. The waiting time was a full 35 minutes. The coffee was cold. The worst: the staff was incredibly unfriendly. NEVER AGAIN!

Definitely not worth a visit since the renovation. It is visually unappealing and there is a draft at every corner and is generally cold and uncomfortable inside. A cafeteria has more charm.

So this has nothing to do with fast food anymore. 45min waiting time at the Mcdrive. This is a huge disgrace. Will be going to Hermsdorf in the future, it will be much quicker.

Since the renovation, you should think carefully about whether you can endure your hunger all the way to the city center, the branch there is much better. Many others have already described the condition of this branch since the renovation.

Don't be nice to the renovation there. It's drafty and cold, as if you were standing in front of the door instead of inside, the food was cold, there was no more play area for the children (the two little things on the wall could have been saved). All the guests who were there sat in their seats with jackets on.

Due to the renovation, there is no longer a small anteroom when you come in. It was incredibly cold inside today, and many people were sitting with jackets on. And we weren't even sitting right at the entrance, you can't actually sit there given the temperatures. Was absolutely uncomfortable. There is no longer a separate area or room for the kids, at least I didn't see any. Didn't turn out pretty. Food was okay, not really hot. Now the second time after the reopening, I waited 20 minutes for a 2-item order. The food is great, but they are also new machines with new fat and oil, so I expect them. Unfortunately, the staff was completely uncoordinated and overwhelmed, even though there were only 5 customers in the restaurant. A non-German speaking family was introduced to the menu for 15 minutes (nice in itself, but one person to take care of it would have been enough!), but a man next to me was allowed to wait 15 minutes for just a coffee. Unfortunately I won't be stopping here anymore, it has nothing to do with FAST food.

Far too long waiting times at the Mac Drive. It's not even 12:00 p.m. and you've been standing here for 20 minutes without anything moving! It's clear to see that the employees here are apparently very overwhelmed. A senseless running back and forth by the employees. An employee in private clothing and another is walking around and drinking a coffee. What's going on here?

After the renovation it was a complete disaster!! I ordered a small breakfast online while I was out and about, then waited 21 minutes for my breakfast duo in the store. It doesn't work at all!!!

After the renovation it seems much larger and there are more seats. But I miss the bike racks, but maybe the conversion isn't quite finished yet.

Leider komplett daneben gelegen. Bei der Ausgabe wurde das Eis komplett vergessen und das beste war in der Junior Tüte hat das halbe Menü gefehlt (Quetschi und Getränk) das muss man erstmal schaffen. Bis jetzt der schlechteste Service.

I'm very angry. I ordered an ice cream with smarties and caramel sauce at the checkout. I got cookie dough with chocolate sauce. Unfortunately, I only checked on the highway.... very annoying, the employees don't understand German or English!

Fast food as we know it. Price-performance is reasonable. There are enough parking spaces available. The waiting time after ordering via the terminal was very long, even though there was "little" going on. Pre-ordering food via the app didn't work or wasn't possible at all the second time. Unfortunately, the play area with a slide outside is closed, inside there is a play area for basketball and an obstacle course, but both are no longer complete or are defective.

We ordered from McDondalds last Wednesday (October 9th). We arrived at 7pm and had to wait 25 minutes for our food. After I complained to the shift supervisor, it resulted in confusion but no apology. Since we were pressed for time and wanted to go to an evening event, I asked him to cancel the order and pay me the money. He said this was not possible even though the food had not yet been prepared. Absolutely not professional and not customer friendly! We are very disappointed.

A somewhat outdated MC Donald in Jena. When you enter, that certain something is missing to feel comfortable It is easily accessible, just outside Jena. The food and staff are fine and helpful. The toilets could be cleaner.

On our last visit, the restaurant was, as usual, very busy. Not a problem per se, but unfortunately this time there was a bit of chaos. There was no table service, so there were a lot of people waiting to be served. The employee in charge repeatedly called numbers into the room because the monitor that normally displays the pickup numbers was also out of order. This was very disruptive during the meal, the quality of which was typical of McDonald's.

I ordered food to take away twice on site and twice it was a complete waste of money.

We like to visit McDrive every now and then before or after work. No matter whether it's breakfast or a burger. And of course don't forget the HappyMeal. We would be happy if items were not missing from an order so often.
