The food is very tasty and good

I thought it was nicer before the renovation.

I've never experienced anything as unfriendly as there. Staff unable to get two coupons on one bill. Why does it work in every other branch? Then you would be even more cheeky. Never again.

I was at the Mcdrive and twice the same blonde old woman at the window, she was unfriendly, didn't say hello, you can have the feelings, she throws the order over the window.

I don't know if it's always so full here, I'm not here in Jena enough for that. But a well-equipped McDonald's, although with very long waiting times (20 minutes) despite ordering and paying at the terminal. A little tip for perhaps slightly fuller visitors (like me or more) - avoid going to the toilet! Extremely narrow cabins where you need a standing plan to get the door with yourself in the cabin. When you finally manage to sit down, you end up sitting on the trash can at the same time. Bad planning! Except for the waiting time and sanitary facilities, it's ok! Staff is friendly.

This McDonalds used to have a great numbering system with 2 working monitors where you never waited longer than 5 minutes, even when there was a lot of traffic... now people who whisper the number in broken German after you've waited 15 minutes for a McMenu Small next to 20 other people who crowd in the serving area and also harass the employees (without meaning to) because they have to go through the middle when table service has been ordered. It's just horrible who came up with such a bad redesign

It is very cold and fast there. The waiting time was a full 35 minutes. The coffee was cold. The worst: the staff was incredibly unfriendly. NEVER AGAIN!

Definitely not worth a visit since the renovation. It is visually unappealing and there is a draft at every corner and is generally cold and uncomfortable inside. A cafeteria has more charm.

Were there for breakfast. I think 30 minutes of waiting time is too long. When I asked why it was taking so long, I was asked to see the boss, but he just shrugged his shoulders. But food was okay.

So this has nothing to do with fast food anymore. 45min waiting time at the Mcdrive. This is a huge disgrace. Will be going to Hermsdorf in the future, it will be much quicker.

Since the renovation, you should think carefully about whether you can endure your hunger all the way to the city center, the branch there is much better. Many others have already described the condition of this branch since the renovation.

Don't be nice to the renovation there. It's drafty and cold, as if you were standing in front of the door instead of inside, the food was cold, there was no more play area for the children (the two little things on the wall could have been saved). All the guests who were there sat in their seats with jackets on.

Very nice service, food freshly prepared, no stale stuff, everything clean, table wiped... tiptop place... would love to come back...

Due to the renovation, there is no longer a small anteroom when you come in. It was incredibly cold inside today, and many people were sitting with jackets on. And we weren't even sitting right at the entrance, you can't actually sit there given the temperatures. Was absolutely uncomfortable. There is no longer a separate area or room for the kids, at least I didn't see any. Didn't turn out pretty. Food was okay, not really hot. Unfortunately it took quite a long time, but there was a lot going on...

Very long waiting time, although there were only a few customers. After 20 minutes of asking the staff how long it would take, they were only told that it would still take because there were only two people in the kitchen.

Slowest McDrive I've ever experienced. In general, you can no longer speak of fast food here. Everything takes forever and seems uncoordinated.

Far too long waiting times at the Mac Drive. It's not even 12:00 p.m. and you've been standing here for 20 minutes without anything moving! It's clear to see that the employees here are apparently very overwhelmed. A senseless running back and forth by the employees. An employee in private clothing and another is walking around and drinking a coffee. What's going on here?

Now the second time after the reopening, I waited 20 minutes for a 2-item order. The food is great, but they are also new machines with new fat and oil, so I expect them. Unfortunately, the staff was completely uncoordinated and overwhelmed, even though there were only 5 customers in the restaurant. A non-German speaking family was introduced to the menu for 15 minutes (nice in itself, but one person to take care of it would have been enough!), but a man next to me was allowed to wait 15 minutes for just a coffee. Unfortunately I won't be stopping here anymore, it has nothing to do with FAST food.

After the renovation it was a complete disaster!! I ordered a small breakfast online while I was out and about, then waited 21 minutes for my breakfast duo in the store. It doesn't work at all!!!

After the renovation it seems much larger and there are more seats. But I miss the bike racks, but maybe the conversion isn't quite finished yet.

Leider komplett daneben gelegen. Bei der Ausgabe wurde das Eis komplett vergessen und das beste war in der Junior Tüte hat das halbe Menü gefehlt (Quetschi und Getränk) das muss man erstmal schaffen. Bis jetzt der schlechteste Service.

I'm very angry. I ordered an ice cream with smarties and caramel sauce at the checkout. I got cookie dough with chocolate sauce. Unfortunately, I only checked on the highway.... very annoying, the employees don't understand German or English!

Fast food as we know it. Price-performance is reasonable. There are enough parking spaces available. The waiting time after ordering via the terminal was very long, even though there was "little" going on. Pre-ordering food via the app didn't work or wasn't possible at all the second time. Unfortunately, the play area with a slide outside is closed, inside there is a play area for basketball and an obstacle course, but both are no longer complete or are defective.

Staff unfriendly, toilets dirty, changing room too small, ice machine supposedly broken, no nice indoor play area for children, restaurant always dirty, terminal hardly possible, table service leaves a lot to be desired. So this MC Donalds is not recommended!!! That's not even worth one star!!

We ordered from McDondalds last Wednesday (October 9th). We arrived at 7pm and had to wait 25 minutes for our food. After I complained to the shift supervisor, it resulted in confusion but no apology. Since we were pressed for time and wanted to go to an evening event, I asked him to cancel the order and pay me the money. He said this was not possible even though the food had not yet been prepared. Absolutely not professional and not customer friendly! We are very disappointed.

A somewhat outdated MC Donald in Jena. When you enter, that certain something is missing to feel comfortable It is easily accessible, just outside Jena. The food and staff are fine and helpful. The toilets could be cleaner.

On our last visit, the restaurant was, as usual, very busy. Not a problem per se, but unfortunately this time there was a bit of chaos. There was no table service, so there were a lot of people waiting to be served. The employee in charge repeatedly called numbers into the room because the monitor that normally displays the pickup numbers was also out of order. This was very disruptive during the meal, the quality of which was typical of McDonald's.

I ordered food to take away twice on site and twice it was a complete waste of money.

We like to visit McDrive every now and then before or after work. No matter whether it's breakfast or a burger. And of course don't forget the HappyMeal. We would be happy if items were not missing from an order so often.

I was there on August 1st at 11:45 p.m., I made the order wrong, the burgers didn't taste good at all, the fries were at the end, after I went in (because one burger was wrong) he put the burger back behind the counter (maybe around to sell it again) overall extremely unhygienic, if I had the power I would close this shop for the time being and especially fire the “cook”, shame on you for this rubbish

A clean and tidy McDonald's. The employees are friendly. Something unpleasant is that smoking is allowed right next to the playground.

Disappointed. In the current campaign, strangely enough, the codes for ice cream, cola and apple turnover had already been loosely and obviously redeemed by the staff, because they were invalid after I redeemed them in the app. It's nothing earth-shattering, but something like that is absolutely not possible!

The food is very practical for our little ones and also very cheap. The adults don't really find good options, but the coffee at McCafe is good. Service is mostly friendly, but not always clean and the playground is often so-so...

Food OK Unfortunately no table service, tray return was overfull. Tables very dirty, at least one table was cleaned upon request. Probably a lack of staff... 🤷‍♂️

Holy shit, people here complain when they have one too many pickles in their burger. Relax, you whining Karens. If you were to cover your eyes from your smartphone for 2 seconds and look into the kitchen, you might realize how stressful it is to have to serve dozens of customers at the same time in this cramped kitchen. It should be clear to you that small mistakes happen. If you want high-quality fast food, you don't go to McDonalds but go to a fancier store. But 1 star deducted for the sometimes cheeky prices. I know; Inflation this but almost 6€ for 6!!!!! chicken nuggets is already deadly bold!!!

The food was cold, after a row due to the long waiting time, I was served the wrong burgers. The atmosphere attracts customers because the service is supposed to feel good. The toilet is as dark as a cave.

I go there about once a month and I have to say the store isn't bad, but usually something that you ordered is missing. Mostly it's just little things like sauces but sometimes something is forgotten in the Happy Meal, at least it has happened to me that the book was forgotten. When you eat there, sometimes the tables aren't wiped down.

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐ It's just McDonalds, you shouldn't expect too much. Good for a quick snack on the go. Sometimes something is forgotten, but if you let us know, it will of course be given to you later. Our dog loves the cream! 🐕
