McDonald's in Bremen

When I arrived, one of the toilets was clogged, which immediately made a bad first impression. I ordered a cappuccino grande for almost €5, which looked like a regular standard cup. Since I'm used to getting a cup when eating in a restaurant, I went to the counter to ask if this was indeed the current size for a grande. However, for several minutes, it was impossible to speak to anyone at the counter because an older employee was standing right in front of it, talking and practically blocking the counter, bracing himself with his hands on either side. No customer could get through properly to ask a question. Even when I left the restaurant after about seven minutes, the employee was still standing there talking, while other employees were visibly busy with their work. Since I didn't get an answer, I went back to my table and took photos of the cup to check for myself whether it was actually a grande and to get an outside opinion. However, I couldn't get through to anyone at the counter for several minutes. Shortly after, a younger employee approached me on his own initiative. He was very friendly and helpful and calmly explained that even water costs almost €5 and that the cappuccino "Grande" I received was correct in terms of both price and size. He even offered to refill it. It later turned out that I had been mistaken and it was indeed a "Grande." In conclusion: The young employee was professional and service-oriented, but the situation at the counter was unnecessarily congested and the overall process could be improved. Hence, 3 stars. Quite acceptable. The price surprised me more than the situation itself. This is not meant as an attack on the employees, who generally do their jobs well. As constructive feedback: Standing at the counter is perfectly fine; one should just keep an eye on the surroundings when customers are waiting. I will gladly adjust my rating on my next visit.

I often go there for breakfast; the colleagues are really nice during the day, but the evenings are a bit of a different story…

I've rarely experienced such a bad and dirty McDonald's. The toilet reeked of dirt and urine, trash was flying around on the outside patio because the bin was overflowing, and then we had to wait over 10 minutes for our food even though the place was almost empty. And in the toilet, you could hear the employee on the phone making fun of his own restaurant. Unbelievable!

The opening hours do not match the information provided here. The restaurant always closes at 1:00 AM. Only the drive-thru is open until 4:00 AM. See photo. The staff was quite friendly.

Deserves no stars, I don't feel well taken care of as a customer of McDonald's. I already wrote a review six months ago, and nothing has changed. Yesterday I ordered a McSmart meal with two hamburgers, two cheeseburgers, and a six-piece nugget, plus two mayo. The fries arrived cold, and the mayo and sauce for the nuggets were completely missing. No wonder, they were watching a funny movie on their phones with four people. Absolutely unbelievable, and I'm not eating dry, sloppy food.

I've never seen such a dreary McDonald's location. I almost fell as soon as I entered because the floor was so oily. Only one person serves the meals and cleans the tables and floor at the same time. That's abnormal.

Simply ridiculous! They removed cash payments from the app and insisted on not connecting at the machine so you couldn't collect points, and then refused a €200 note at the checkout. It's just ridiculous and pathetic, a real indictment of your company. I definitely won't be coming back.

I ordered a single chocolate shake, and the employee managed to overflow it three times. A few minutes later, another colleague came over and made the milkshake. We ended up waiting 25 minutes... It would have been longer if we hadn't asked. The system displayed our order as "Preparing" and "Pickup" for the first two minutes. It popped up for a millisecond when we were ready to pick it up, and then we were gone. When we asked, it turned out that our order had been started but not finished. So we were just sitting there with the citizens... Our number had already been given to other customers during the time we were standing there... Food was cold and not even straws... And that's what they call fast food. Some people are then given priority, and we wait...

The restaurant is actually quite good, but the quality of the food and service has been declining recently. The fries pictured are a prime example. We complained about them and were served fresh ones straight from the fryer, but that's no use if the oil is too old and the fries come out soggy and burnt. So, I don't understand the problem.

It starts with the parking lot, full of roaring crowds and screaming children between 3 and 5 years old at 11:45 p.m. You can guess what I'm talking about. Everything in the store itself was filthy, and I had to wait 40 minutes despite ordering via the app.

I would like to report a very unpleasant situation that occurred yesterday, July 9, 2025, in the early evening at the Bremen Oslebshausen branch. My 11-year-old son and his friend went to wash their hands in the men's restroom shortly before leaving the branch. I was waiting for them at the entrance. An employee in a suit walked past me with tools and a toilet flush cover. He went into the men's restroom and came back out a few seconds later, looked me over, and asked if my children were in there, claiming that my son had broken the sink faucet. My son weighs 35 kg and would never have had the strength or reason to rip a faucet out of the sink. The children said it was already loose and broken. The employee was very unfriendly and aggressive and told the children in the bathroom that they would have to pay €100 for breaking it. The employee and I were getting louder in the middle of the store's entrance because he was accusing us and wanted me to give him the money. The man was wearing a McDonald's suit and had very short hair, more of a bald head, and his tone and manner seemed like he was from the mafia. To me, it sounds like fraud, and he wanted to pocket the money. The faucet was already broken and loose because my children had washed their hands there before eating. To intimidate and attack children in a McDonald's store, alone in a washroom, to intentionally break something, and then to threaten me, as a mother, in front of all the customers, is completely unacceptable. We left shocked and scared and will never come back. We hope that this employee, and probably even the store manager, will be held accountable for not treating customers/people like that. Nothing was deliberately broken on our part. And no employee is allowed to demand money and make such claims.

We've rarely been served so unpleasantly. When we were taking our order at the drive-thru, we were yelled at because the employee didn't take the order correctly and subsequently had to call the manager because the order had to be canceled twice. The manager was super nice, but the employee was a disaster!

Our food (lunch) was freshly prepared and hot. A very friendly employee brought it to our table and even cleared it when we tried to take the tray away. We've never experienced anything like that at any other McDonald's. Plus, the place was clean.

Dear McDonald's Team, On June 8, 2025, at around 11:30 PM, I placed an order with the number 192 at the restaurant [insert location if known] via the kiosk system. The order included: 1x Coke Zero 0.5l 2x McRib 1x Curly Fries 1x Sour Cream Dip After an unusually long wait, parts of my order were handed to me, but one or more of the ordered items were missing (please specify if you know what exactly was missing). Despite my patience and the late hour, I discovered that my order was incomplete, which is extremely frustrating. Especially when it comes to self-service and long waiting times, I expect at least a complete and correct order processing. I therefore ask you to investigate this incident and provide me with feedback.

We were at the McDrive last night around 10:30 p.m. and there was a man at the counter who had absolutely no idea what he was doing. Unfortunately, we had trouble understanding him because of his broken German. We wanted to redeem coupons and our points in the app. While we were placing our order, it seemed to be working. A minute later, they said: it doesn't work. Apparently neither of these options works, which we didn't know beforehand. Instead of making us aware of this, they also yelled at us that it wasn't the employees' job and to point this out. After this employee was very rude, started an argument with us, a female employee came over and asked him what he was doing, we were able to pick up our cold order at the second window. Never again.

Wednesday evening around 11:30 p.m., the number of customers was very manageable! The employee didn't say a word the entire time and didn't show any emotion. She seemed noticeably listless and unfriendly. The cheese on the double cheeseburgers was still cold and not melted. Not to mention the size of the burgers (a solid 6 for value, they've recently shrunk from "regular" to "mini." And now they're 3.99 for that!?). Add to that a dirty dining room... several seats and tables had leftover food, crumbs, or sauces smeared on them. Here, too, the non-working employees obviously didn't feel like working...!? And... the parking lot was a meeting place for various teenagers with their "chubby cars" - including the disabled parking spaces next to the entrance. I didn't find that funny either, because I have a walking disability. The employees have to take care of that too!!!! Overall conclusion: never, never again, under any circumstances...simply underground!!!!

Great branch, always fast and reliable!!

I ordered plant-based nuggets. My boyfriend was eating with me. Then he bit into one, realized it was chicken, and we went back. We reported it, but the employee completely denied that they were plant-based nuggets, EVEN THOUGH they were obviously chicken. You could tell by the texture and consistency. In the end, we threw the nuggets away, which was a shame, but there's nothing we can do. :(

The staff were very friendly and patient again today (the lady in front of me had trouble with the order process) and the food was warm enough. The shop was also clean. This has been the case three times in a row, so nothing to complain about.

Slow, took ages to get Drive thru but the food was normal McD quality

Probably the dirtiest McDonalds in Bremen! I ordered two Mc Ribs with bacon The one slice of bacon per burger was almost burnt and they also saved on the sauce!

Pro: Compared to the branch in OHZ, it is much more organized and quicker. Food fresh and tasty. But - big minus: when ordering take away, burgers are sometimes placed vertically in the bags, so to speak on the side edge. Why? WHY? That just doesn't work at all.

I don't know where to start, currently there are the Minecraft menus with the round actors (Jack black) and you currently have the option of getting a Grimace Egg, the McDonalds branch has even adapted the menu (the packaging has a Minecraft still) that's all well and good but my cup was completely standard in the same way as 2 weeks ago, I was so annoyed, the fries were given to me cold and were therefore no longer appetizing. I found the new Nether sauce to be a bit spicy for my circumstances, so much so that it burned twice, but that's okay, but giving a child that kind of sauce would be sad. Ordered takeaway food. Unfortunately it wasn't until we got home that we noticed that the wrong quantities had been packed: how can you mistake a 6 piece of chicken nuggets for a 20 piece... After complaining, unfortunately I didn't receive a voucher that would be valid everywhere, but only here. So always check, trust goes to waste!

When you order something, the right thing never arrives and it often takes a long time. Nobody in the store speaks German well, so you won't be understood on the phone or in the McDrive. When the food comes when you order it is usually cold and muddy (I live 7 minutes away). The store itself is dirty and ugly.

Order entered via the touchpad - and waited 29 minutes and unfortunately didn't receive the order as ordered. What was it about? Quite simply, there was nothing going on and communication took place in the Arabic language.

Unfortunately I had a bit of bad luck last night. Burger lukewarm and dry, fries also lukewarm. Lots of rush, otherwise I would have complained.

So there are actually big differences between the different branches. THIS ONE IS JUST BAD!!! You have to repeat each order 5 times before you can even be understood. Both burgers pretty much cold and stale. Fries no salt, once again forgot the sauces, napkins are probably overrated when you order in the car (of course they don't exist) but it shouldn't be that difficult to read an order from the monitor and put the standard things in a bag - amazing ....you can't go wrong anymore. Disgusting and never here again!

Food was hot and prepared quickly. Personalized extra requests were implemented 1:1. And the staff were on their toes when it came to cleaning the tables etc. Absolutely no complaints 🙂 I've had worse experiences, keep it up! 👍

Wir waren 4 Personen und hatten zwei Smart Menüs, 9 Nuggets als Menü und 2 Plantbürger.Mehr wurde nicht bestellt. Diese Sachen waren auch nur sichtbar im Warenkorb und plötzlich war auf der Rechnung dann noch ein Happymael, Eis und Getränk. Der Geschäftsführer war sehr unkooperativ und es gab lediglich 2 Kaffee, diese waren nicht trinkbar. Essen war leider kalt. Das war unser erster und letzter Besuch dort. Ein Punkt ist noch zu viel.

Sometimes we got the wrong food (instead of veggie we got chicken nuggets that were in the deep fryer for far too long). The milkshake was missing, even though it was on the receipt. The person was barely audible over the loudspeaker and apparently barely understood the order.

The McCafé is obviously a thing of the past. Maybe you just don't drink coffee in Oslebshausen. Food and drinks were okay. The cleanliness was good. Overall, I don't like the atmosphere of McDonald's 2020 years that much. I don't really like the interior design.
