McDonald's in Bremen

Ordered a double cheeseburger. It arrived very quickly, but was carelessly thrown together and the cheese slices were cold. I'll be avoiding McDonald's for a while.

Dogs off-leash are tolerated in the restaurant. Hygiene is nonexistent.

Embarrassing for McDonald's... And they expect people to spend money here.

Toilets dirty and filthy, staff unfriendly and rude, you get cold burgers and then get yelled at for not coming straight away, everything just thrown together, never again at McDonald's

I was there yesterday and had a question about the app. Nobody spoke German. I asked if someone could help me. Well, nobody could answer me because they couldn't speak German. Simply awful. Then he replied, "I have a German passport, great, what good is that to you? A German passport if you can't speak German? Terrible service."

On an adventurous drive from Hamburg—sorry you asked!—our driver realized late one evening that a coffee would give her the energy she needed for the journey home. While searching for a suitable place, we stumbled upon this rest stop. We were more than happy that this McDonald's was open. When we asked if it would be possible to have the coffee with a splash of oat milk, they made an exception—even though it wasn't their usual offering—and served us coffee with oat milk at no extra charge. That was very kind, thank you!

Their kiosks are problematic, when you buy the same product twice, it shows you have bought only one. It's a money trap. We asked for a hamburger with Pommes and drink, but only the hamburger and drink came, but the paper said there was no Pommes. The coffees came cold. In short, we faced a game against Donald's that upset us.

DO NOT GO HERE....... What a sad place.... Staff unfriendly, rude, Swearing at each other... Smelly toilet... Wet floor/mopping between the tables during dinner, the whole place too... You've been warned... No amount of compensation will get us back here...

It's quite an art to only receive two out of three items ordered.

The ordering process was seamless; everything arrived quickly and hot. The only downside was the cleanliness, which, as in other McDonald's restaurants, left something to be desired.

Unfortunately, there are no vegetarian burgers here. They do have vegetarian nuggets and related products, but not the really great meatless burgers. This needs to change.

The hygiene conditions on site were truly poor. Despite plenty of free space, there wasn't a single seating area where the table, chair, or floor wasn't extremely dirty. In the men's restroom, you were standing deep in other people's urine at the urinal. One consolation point in the review was the decent food.

Best McDonalds in a long time! The food, the breakfast, was good, the staff was nice, service-minded. It was clean too! Lovely!

Only received half a carrot cake

The service leaves a lot to be desired. You politely ask for a second straw to share a milkshake and are rudely told by five employees standing around that they only have one milkshake. I politely asked for another straw and was treated rudely. Are the recycled straws so expensive that you can't get another one? What if mine had been broken? Would I have not gotten one either?

Unfortunately, I have to give this one one star... The staff was very unfriendly and unmotivated. The floor could use a cleaning... The burgers were cold and hard. The fries were also cold and completely unsalted... I think the McDonald's in Vahr is bad, but Hemelingen is even worse...

All I can say about the toilets is that they were clean.

The place was so dirty and run-down, almost disgusting. But the healthy food neutralized any reservations.

The fries were cold. A burger was missing from the ordered meal. The MC Drive-In is no longer open.

Close to the highway, easy to get to - but: Staff were annoyed and unfriendly: our order was missing nuggets. We politely asked about it, but the nuggets were placed on the counter without a word, accompanied by an annoyed look.... Our fries were cold, but we didn't dare say anything else. At least it wasn't busy, so we could sit comfortably.

Sah recht sauber aus als wir da waren. Aber das Essen war nur lau warm und obwohl der Laden recht leer war gab es immense Wartezeiten für nur 3 Happy-meals wo noch nicht mal alles richtig zusammengestellt war. Seeehr traurig... Und trotz der leere im Laden durfte keine Bestellung mündlich abgegeben werden. Man wurde äußerst schroff auf die Terminals verwiesen. Ein no go wie wir finden. Es machte den Eindruck als würden dort nur depressive und mies gelaunte Leute arbeiten.

Very dirty restaurant, tables and seating are covered in crumbs and greasy. A pungent stench of urine emanates from the restrooms. Truly disgusting... And this at a time when it wasn't busy, so the staff would have time to keep it clean.

I had just finished a long bus ride and thought a trip to McDonald's couldn't hurt. At least, that's what I thought until I wanted to order. The waiter made us wait for half an hour until my boyfriend kicked up a fuss and only then did they make us wait another 10 minutes. The waiter also didn't seem to have a clue about the ordering device, which then took another 10 minutes before we could finally choose a table. We waited about 5 minutes until a member of staff called out our order number across the branch, even though we even had an order stand. When we finally got our order, we were missing a large fries and a water. That was my last visit to McDonald's at this branch!!!!

The rolls? Harder than my 10th-grade math teacher. The meat? So gray and dried out, I swear it could have fit right in a museum as a fossil. And the sauce... oh, wait—what sauce?! There was nothing. Absolute Sahara vibes. I almost asked for political help after the first bite because my palate was officially dry.

Service was almost non-existent I had to wait half an hour for my food because the cashier only came after 20 minutes of queuing so she wasn't at the cash register

What a filthy place. All the tables were filthy, not to mention dirty. We had to sit outside out of necessity. It wasn't exactly clean either, and the entire patio was covered in cigarette butts. Ugh!

Tray racks overflowing, toilets disgusting

Once the place gets a bit busier, you can expect wait times of over 30 minutes. If we hadn't ordered for over €60, we would have left. Pretty uncool for a "fast food" restaurant.

Drive-thru = slow, unfriendly, and incompetent staff. Restaurant = often dirty. Food = poorly prepared burgers. You have to have a real craving for Mezze to visit this particular restaurant! The little manager even offered to "dance" in front of the door when you complained – unbelievable! It was his luck that the offer was turned down!

Since the mini pancakes took longer to arrive despite there being few customers, msn brought us a large coffee on the house without asking.

I went to McDonald's in Hemelingen and I'm really satisfied! I'd especially like to mention the branch manager, Maurice. He's super friendly and always tries to accommodate customers' requests. You feel truly welcome. Top-notch service, I'd love to come back! Your best, Maurice.

The McDrive is the worst. The worst in the world. A burger without cheese, cold and soggy. I can't figure out what went wrong with the shake. The color and flavor were too extreme, and it was warm, too. Unbelievable. Incredible. Unmatched.

*Unfortunately, a very disappointing visit.* The restaurant was generally unclean – both the dining area and the restrooms left much to be desired. Several cushions and stools were missing or damaged. The staff seemed irritated and unmotivated. My order was delivered incomplete (drinks, sugar, and spoons were missing), and only after checking the receipt and tray did they respond promptly. Particularly incomprehensible: A straw for a child was refused – first, they were told there were none, then they were only allowed one if you ordered a milkshake. Even the offer to pay for it was declined. Unfortunately, the service and condition of the restaurant do not meet expectations for McDonald's.

I regularly stop here for dinner on my trips along the A1. The restaurant is clean, and the atmosphere is pleasant by McDonald's standards. The service is friendly and fast. The fries and burgers arrive fresh and hot, which isn't always a given at McDonald's. There's also a large outdoor area.

Unfortunately, it's not highly recommended; the service leaves much to be desired and is very slow. Cash payments are very slow to accept.

Two meat nuggets in nine plant-based nuggets. How does that happen?

Every time, the order is wrong. Today, they didn't deliver the fries, the new ones with seasoning. We went back and got cold ones. We went to the car and found out they didn't give us seasoning. When we returned, the guy said it was in stock. Well, yes, it is. But why didn't I get it in my order? It's a disaster. Lately, all McDonald's in Germany have become a joke.

Fast service in the drive-up, everything was great!

I was at McDonald's at Europaallee 5 in Bremen this morning – everything went great. Ordering at the terminal was quick, the food arrived promptly, and the employees were friendly. The store was clean and tidy, just what you'd want. Highly recommended for a quick breakfast. I'd love to come back!

When we inquired, it turned out the machine was broken, without any prior notice. We were given a cola as a replacement, but when I asked for a refund, there was complete confusion and no help. Absolutely not recommended.

I've visited this McDonald's restaurant several times. The quality of the food was unobjectionable during my visits, and it largely met my usual McDonald's expectations when I go there. Unfortunately, the cleanliness in this restaurant was often poor or could be significantly improved. Communication with some of the employees was also very difficult. We had four Happy Meals on this visit to get our son's toys. There were definitely some complaints: I didn't receive saucers for both cappuccinos, and a wooden spoon for a hot drink with milk foam is unacceptable. Something seemed to be leaking in a men's restroom; there was a massive amount of water under the toilet bowl. An employee was busy mopping up the water and was standing in the middle of it with his shoes. The thought of where he ended up with his shoes afterward... certainly unavoidable, but not a pleasant thought. All in all, it really only deserves 3 stars because of the food itself.

If I could, I would give it 0 stars. We were just there, and the accessible restroom was "closed" due to a broken flush. Since there's also a changing area for my son there, I opened the door and tried to go in. A member of staff (the shift manager) approached me and told me the restroom was closed. I told her I'd read the signs, but I only wanted to change my son's diaper. She then told me again that the restroom was closed. After I told her three times that I only wanted to change my son's diaper, I just went in. She didn't treat her employee, who was standing in the hallway, appropriately either... What kind of behavior is that? We actually didn't want to eat there either, but after that incident, we'd rather just drive on... Thanks for nothing...

Food was lukewarm to cold at best.

We stopped to eat on the way to Denmark. In general it was not bad, clean, quiet and calm. Nice waiters served the food, the food was as usual in such an establishment. No different from others. McDonald’s🤷‍♀️

No, that's a terrible place. Three people working, no customers, it took 10 minutes to get served. I just wanted a coffee. Then they took the payment, nothing after that, the employee left. I ended up getting a coffee in a plastic bag, even though I had specifically asked to drink it there. I complained, and then she sorted it out after all. Yeah. That's not acceptable. I only had a short break and couldn't drink my coffee in peace because of 15 minutes of not wanting to dawdle. And it was just a coffee. Probably the worst McDonald's in the country.

They put the food as ready on the screen, but didn’t have if prepared. They only had the drinks ready. We tried to ask employees if the food was ready. We got ignored by 2 employees. The food was alright.

I bought two large Cokes today for €7.98. What's up with that? Why are they so expensive? Dude, 1 liter of Coke costs €1.30!!!!!

I'm MEGA disappointed! ...Disappointed that not every McDonald's visit goes like this one! We were passing through the craziest festival on the planet, Parookaville, and grabbed a few beers during our modest four-hour drive. At some point, we got hungry. Google Maps said: McDonald's. We said: YES PLEASE. What happened next was simply ridiculously awesome. We were greeted warmly as soon as we walked in – no annoyed eye rolls, no "card payments only." The restrooms were clean, toilet paper on hand, the hand soap smelled good, McLavender No. 5, perhaps? At the checkout, our special requests were fulfilled without a moment's hesitation. An employee even brought our food to our table. He came back later, asked if everything was okay, and cracked a joke so good we briefly thought we'd ended up at a comedy club. The food? Exactly what you want when you're in the mood for fat, salt, love, and fries. Conclusion: Anyone who has something to complain about here probably has salt in their soul or too much ketchup in their heart. We give it 11 out of 10 McStars. Thanks for the best McDonald's stop ever. Next time, we'll drive an extra four hours – just for you. P.S.: If this employee ever quits, please don't. Give them a gold drive-thru medal or at least a free meal.

Very cool manager, food fresh and hot

I'm disappointed. We only went to this McDonald's because of all the bad reviews; we wanted to see for ourselves. An absolute disaster. We were greeted warmly, the restrooms were clean, there was plenty of toilet paper, and the food was good. One employee even came over to chat while we were eating and asked if we were happy and whether the food tasted good. He was so nice that we couldn't resist leaving a tip, which we were shockingly happy to give him. I've never experienced such good service at a McDonald's. What a nerve... ;) Seriously, it was great! P.S. the food arrived incredibly quickly!

Expensive, I paid 19 euros for 3 burgers and a drink, so watch your money. But it was very quick.

Toilets are absolutely disgusting. The smell is bad. The floor is sticky. Toilet paper is everywhere. The toilet bowls are dirty. The toilet seats are loose and damaged. And then they rip you off with the prices and are too small for the people.

We walked in and the employee said they were out of meat. We immediately turned around and went to Burger King. They had meat there.

The order is constantly delayed and the estimated delivery time has been changed several times without any explanation. No specific information on when the food will actually arrive. The whole experience is very irritating - instead of a pleasant meal, only frustration and waiting. I do not recommend.

I recently went to McDonald's and unfortunately wasn't entirely satisfied. The place could have been a bit cleaner – some tables hadn't been wiped down, and there was dust and insects lying around. My burger wasn't particularly well-made either – the bun was slightly squashed and overall it looked pretty sloppy. They also gave me the wrong sauce even though I'd ordered something else. It wasn't a complete disaster, but for a large chain like McDonald's, I expect more care, especially with the basics. Hopefully, things will go better next time.

We waited over twelve minutes for an ice cream. Apparently, this branch only has a pair of scissors, and they were nowhere to be found to open the caramel sauce. Service isn't a priority at this branch. Friendliness, unfortunately, doesn't exist there.

Clean and welcoming McDonald's restaurant. Table service is very fast. The hamburgers are hot and tasty. Great. French kiosk. The staff is very kind and attentive. They also speak French. Bravo!

If I could, I'd give it negative points. A McDonald's that doesn't taste like McDonald's, where you ideally spell out your order to the staff at the drive-thru, and where even the cheeseburgers don't taste like cheeseburgers. Worst McDonald's I've ever experienced (despite being well over 50)! Truly disappointing and not a reference point. We've had enough of McDonald's for now.

I think this could be improved. The restroom floors were wet and uncleaned. The food isn't particularly good either; apart from the McNuggets and the curly fries, some of the food was cold, burnt, and hard. (I censored myself from one photo)

If there are any leftovers, the frothed milk container is placed back in the refrigerator and then refilled with cold milk at some point, then frothed and heated again. Very tasty and hygienic.

Food and drinks as usual at McDonald's – always satisfied. But there was no toilet paper in the women's restroom. I told the waitress, who didn't seem very motivated, by the way. The worst McFlurry we've ever had. They raise prices dramatically, then only serve half a portion of ice cream, half a portion of chocolate chips, and forget the sauce. Pretty damn bad.

I ordered from the McDrive on June 6, 2025, at 11:00 PM. I clearly only ordered one meal, the McSmart meal with chicken and mayo. I did get a bag, but when I got home, I saw it was a completely different order—a cheeseburger meal with ketchup. I'm never going there again!

Sugar with coffee was only available upon request. There was no toilet paper in any of the restrooms. Trash was piled up in and around the cars and on the floor. Many tables were dirty. We won't stop here again.

The store is dirty, the employees are unfriendly, and the food feels worse than at other locations. This is also the third time we've had this experience where we weren't served about an hour and a half before closing time. At the McDrive, they always say, "Wait a second, please," and then completely ignore you until you drive away.

Waiting too long to eat tastes shit and cold

It takes an insanely long time to get food, we ordered to the table and haven't gotten our food for 30 minutes. It's also not clean, where you place your trash is so full that customers have started placing their trash on the citizens inside the restaurant. They need to get their shit in better control

Highly recommended, and I'm very satisfied with the food and menu. All are reasonably priced. The staff is very friendly and efficient. The manager is also very accommodating. Thank you, McDonald's.

Moin Folks, sorry, irgendwie bin ich wohl falsch und oder sehe es entspannter. Hier war ich mal wieder eingekehrt, getankt gegenüber und dann flott rein, am Bestellgerät geordert und Zack wurde es zum Tisch geliefert und alles gut und lecker. Vorher Hände gespült, da war alles I.O. und auch die Räumlichkeiten waren I.O.. Alles gut. Dankeschön für das flotte, gute Essen, auf ein nächstes Mal in Deutschland. Bin Fan und bin nach wie vor zufrieden.
