McDonald's in Frankfurt am Main

The food was truly some of the worst we've had at McDonald's. The burgers were already cold, so we complained and received another one. The same problem happened with the second burger, but we didn't complain again. It's a shame, McDonald's does better!

The worst McDonald's ever. Food was ready very quickly, at most lukewarm and tasteless. No recommendation from us.

The on-site security is a must. It's nice that this McDonald's is guarded around the clock by a security guard. Food was delivered quickly despite the massive rush. Thank you, dear team.

As I walked to my seat, my tray fell down. I immediately informed the counter and offered to clean it up myself. However, a server rectified the accident within moments. Without me having to make a claim, the in-house security guard took the initiative to replace all my food free of charge. He even looked after my luggage while I was at the counter. Overall, incredibly polite, courteous, and fast service – highly recommended!

Unfriendly staff serving dry, cold burgers. Also, like everywhere in Frankfurt, full of junkies and dirty.

Absolutely worst McDonald’s in Frankfurt. Employees are extremely unfriendly and the manager changes the technology every time. Simply disastrous store.

Big Mac is getting smaller and smaller and please what kind of patty is that - it's a homeopathic amount of meat, the cola is a bit watery, the fries are okay. As you walked you could feel the floor sticking. Finding a clean table wasn't easy, and to be honest, the benches weren't exactly bare either. You just had to do your best not to touch anything with your hands. Who doesn't like challenges?

Please do not expect that there will be breakfast early in the morning. Saturdays are only available from 7am. So it's better to go to the bakery.

Ladies and Gentlemen I would like to file a complaint about the behavior of a security employee at your McDonald's branch at Frankfurt am Main Main Station. On 03/07/2025 at 12:15 a.m. I entered the restaurant to warm up for about 15 minutes while I waited for my train. I assumed that it would be possible to stay for a short time without being disturbed. But the security guard behaved extremely rude and aggressively. He started screaming loudly, moving chairs ostentatiously and seemed to want to drive me away with his behavior. Eventually he even threw chairs, which is completely unacceptable. Such behavior is completely inappropriate for a restaurant that is supposed to be a welcoming place for customers. It's disappointing and unpleasant when you enter a place and are greeted by an obviously aggressive security guard who arbitrarily decides who to eject. I request an explanation regarding this incident and steps to ensure that this does not happen again in the future.

I got a black fried burger mince. When I asked for a new one, the employees said that wasn't possible The employees were very rude March 5, 2025 none of them showed any interest in satisfying the customer.

I ordered large fries with sweet and sour sauce, but of course I got them - no sauce! The fact that €3.89 doesn't even include ketchup is pretty cheeky in itself, but then not even putting in the sauce you ordered is very difficult. When I visited, the food was ready quickly and everything was ok. Cleanliness can be worked on.

There are often very long queues; on my last visit I was able to order at the counter after a short wait. The gentleman was very stressed and my order was ready quickly, but warm water, no sauce with the fries and no question as to whether I wanted to eat “here” or take away was not good service. The bag was handed to me, no napkins in it, hardly any fries salted, McChicken tasted extremely strange. All in all very negative and that's why I won't go here anymore!

Open until 3:00 a.m. according to opening times. At 2 a.m., guests who don't order takeout will be kicked out. The security staff with hardly any knowledge of German are acting like crazy. Everything that can go wrong goes wrong. This restaurant is an imposition.

The food was really bad. I got a Mac chicken menu and the bread wasn't even baked, it was really soft and almost soggy. Even worse was the chicken itself. It wasn't even cooked (which I could see in the middle) I got maybe 3 lettuce strips and a little sauce. Then the fries... They were soggy, cold and not fried. If I were you I would go to any other macdonalds in Frankfurt. I ate maybe half of my burger before throwing it away. I wouldn't even be surprised if I got food poisoning

Dirty, disgusting and the staff...amazing what 5 brain cells can bake into 20 men/women...NOT! You arrive at 9:50 a.m. and expect the breakfast menu... yes, especially because it's a holiday. First of all, you are incoherently told that the ordering machines are blocked...again. It doesn't matter when I come here, and I rarely do so given the subterranean service and the nightmarish ambience. Vending machines are just for decoration, it seems. When asked why there is no breakfast because the order panels at the cash registers were already set to the daily menu, the answer is rude: no breakfast!!!!! roared. Why? Again: NO BREAKFAST!!!!!111. But on the door it says in bold: until 10.30 a.m. and even 11.30 a.m. on Sundays and public holidays. Answer: shrug. But you would still have 1-2 things from breakfast. Who would be there? Response from the lady at the checkout: Duh! Don't have time to list it all now...duhhhh! Listing 1-2 things shouldn't be a 12-act stage play. To my slightly irritated: okay…then came: What do you want!?…yes, exactly in that tone. So I ordered my junior a Happy Meal. Better than nothing. But it goes further. Everything is full at the front. At the back of the restaurant, an obviously homeless lady is peeing all over the place for the third time. Several guests, including us, pointed this out to the staff several times. But to care? That would be real work. That's not possible, right? Then it's better to stand at the front and continue complaining while doing as little as possible. And I don't care about the homeless lady either. The point is that no one wants to be in urine...eat a carelessly slapped Happy Meal. Or the other shouting gentleman who insults everything and everyone and throws fries...that could be taken care of. But that would be too logical. Conclusion: This is the worst McDonald's in the area. Who gets the chills at the former McDonald's in the Südbahnhof? He hasn't experienced anything yet! Here! The bar for the level is really so low here: you have to send James Cameron down with a diving bell. Anyone in the mood for dirt, rubbish, body odor and worse, stroppy to simply rude staff and other unpleasant surprises? It's spot on here. Otherwise…run! Oh and toilet? Forget it! Has been abolished. Instead, you can traipse through half of the station and then pay €1.50 at the non-barrier-free toilet. Bon appetite!

Absolute juice shop!!! Orders incorrect again and again

Went here for breakfast today. Employees very ignorant and sometimes quite harsh! Coffee very good, Bacon Egg McMuffin only "warm". Restaurant urgently needs modernization. Seating is old, worn and probably from the 80s.

Do not come to this store, this store employs racists as clerks and says discriminatory things to your face.

This day I will remember all my life! It’s worst McDonalds in the world. After this situation I’m not visiting McDonalds anymore. The situation: I came to Frankfurt from France. I was on a 32 week of pregnancy my doctor in France allowed me this trip. I ordered food for a 15 euro. I was eating to much because of pregnancy. After I finished my food security man said me “You have to leave the table if you finished your food”. I asked for another 5 minutes because I started feeling bad. All what I got it’s “you could find place outside”. I didn’t get any help. I went out and I found place outside. I spent a lot of energy for this and it’s damaged me and my child more. Thanks to woman which called ambulance. My child was born at 32 weeks of pregnancy! I will never visit McDonalds again! It’s ruined my mental health at all. I heard about Germany taking care about children’s and future mothers so much but i was in wrong thinking.

One of the worst experience ever had in a McDonalds restaurant. I visited this place twice it was the same all the time. Crowded, the ordering machines were not working properly and food quality was really poor.

If you want something to eat here at 2 a.m. you should go somewhere else. Apparently they still make cheeseburgers but no chicken burgers because the MACHINE would be out. Isn't this prepared on the same stove/oven??? Greetings to the older bald guy who is still extremely rude and disrespectful!?

Worst McDonalds in Frankfurt, can’t order via app, can’t use the terminal. Takes forever to order and get your food

Both the food and the ambience are like any other McDo**. Other than that, all I can say is that this store disappoints me. Every 2 weeks (within the last 3 months) the store is not open at night due to various, banal problems. The highlight was the closure “due to an update” although nothing actually changed. #Mysterious 😱

11/27/24 12:30 a.m.: While I'm ordering at the counter, an employee at the fries station is happily eating fries directly from the station with her hands. I point out to the clerk at the counter how unhygienic and out of place it is and leave without ordering.

For being located in the central station, their service is very slow and disorderly.

Bad service with bad food, everything is soaked in oil and the fries were expired.

I was there Today to Order just Coffee before I continue my Trip, stood there for 15 mins waiting for my Turn , and one of the staff just called the Person Standing at my back and Took his Order, I tired to Tell him that it was unfair for him to do that, and he just ignored me and called the Next Person at my back. The Boss or Schichtleiter called Security and had him Walk me out, he did Not allow me to explain the Situation. To be honest, Avoid this Fast Food as possible , the staff Are all A-Holes, Rude and incompetent!! The Customer Service is a -10

My breakfast order was made almost completely wrong. Stat 2 McMuffin Bacon & Egg and a wrap, I got 4 MC Fresh Chicken or something. Unfortunately I only noticed it on the train. These things aren't even that good and they're super disgusting. Thanks for a ruined morning MCs...

I've eaten around 50 Big Tastys in total so far. And they were always warm and delicious. And today I had the first Big Tasty, the cheese was already melted on the outside of the packaging. That means the part has been back there for 20 minutes. And the Big Tasty had nothing to do with a Big Tasty, except for his looks.

We have never entered such a dirty and really filthy store. Eating there, no thanks, we were shocked

I don't understand why everyone is fanatical. They must be advertising. Because cold, overdried food cannot be tasty and nutritious! I visited an establishment of this chain for the first time. Got a burger that was literally 2 days old and not eatable anymore! Also the vegan chicken nuggets were really old and heated up a lot of times before I got it. Also the restaurant has no toilet!!!!

I was there 5 minutes ago. There were a lot of burgers in the compartment. I had FishMc and McChicken Classic, both were rock hard and fart dry. That doesn't work at all.

Today we had a stopover in Frankfurt and the kids had to take a small bite hence they preferred McDonald's. The location is fine, right next to the rail tracks and many other shops and food outlets are nearby. The restaurant offers an accessibility friendly entrance. However, when we entered this McDonald's outlet the bad smell inside was terrible. The kids preferred to pick the food and have it outside. That we did not want to sit inside does not have any importance but I wonder how the employees stand this smell all day long. Would I go again? Probably no.

The service was lightning fast.

Stood for 10 mins waiting for just a coffee and a croissant, the girl got up and left saying she wasn't making coffee and I was just ignored by the staff, just terrible service. First mac where they treat customers so badly Instead of coffee from the barista, they made coffee from the coffee machine, when asked to make the barista replied that it was coffee and would not remake it Ignored for almost 20 minutes after deciding to do your own thing.

You walk into the store and everything stinks of bums, feces and urine. Never seen such a bad McDonalds. I'm glad I didn't get stabbed or get a syringe...

Since I have just arrived in Frankfurt Central Station and have a few minutes to spare, I risk a few euros and in return I receive a flat bag with a lukewarm flatbread from which a trace of ham and a yolk-yellow paste peeks out. No enjoyment.

I ordered coffee to DRINK THERE (ergo I expect a normal coffee cup), coffee was placed in a to-go cup without a lid at the front of the take-out counter so that everyone can spit in for 10 minutes. When I asked politely that I had been waiting so long for my coffee, I was told that it was right there. The unfriendliest woman ever slapped the coffee mug on a tray for me and said they would call and it would be my bad luck if I didn't pick it up. As I said, I explicitly did NOT order it ToGo. I think it's crazy. Never experienced anything like this. I would give 0 stars

I don't even know where to start. Cleanliness is not there. Totally disorganized even though there are many employees on site. Unfortunately, friendliness has never been heard of! So I haven't experienced anything like that in a long time. If you want to speak to the manager you are simply left standing and ignored! You can be friendlier to people you don't know where you live! We also left the restaurant WITHOUT ordering anything! (breakfast time) Thanks for nothing!

Not a nice place, no new technology, old systems

I wanted to order at the entrance to the terminal, there were an additional 4 people there for 4 terminals. Instead, security sends me to the checkout. But the employee there was so slow that I left after 10 minutes without moving forward. During the observation, you could see that you can actually sole the employees' shoes while running. Rarely do you see someone walking so slowly as if they were doing it on purpose...

I was thrown out by security because I allegedly drank my tea too slowly!

There is no question that this branch will never change anything about its absolutely bottomless way of dealing with its paying customers, and why should it? There is enough throughput due to the situation. I wouldn't give up a money printing business like that either. I just ordered 4 cheeseburgers to take away, with the repeated advice that they had to be prepared WITHOUT onions due to allergies, the absolutely unfriendly gentleman at the checkout barked at me that this would take time, no problem, I already know that. After 25!!!! Within minutes the dear gentleman threw a filled bag at me and I rushed to the train. Since, as an allergy sufferer, you generally distrust any stranger who prepares food for you, I of course took a close look at my food, and lo and behold, this apparently extremely frustrated McDonald's employee had actually tried to give me an unplanned vacation with an extra portion of onions on every burger to donate on a health certificate.

There was a queue of 20 customers at the order terminals, each with luggage. I'll be right back out. Guys, this is the MAIN STATION! There are always a lot of people there, four terminals aren't enough...🙄

So when I was passing through, I noticed that the service and security staff were very friendly and competent and quick when it came to serving. Even the security helped in the lobby and at the ordering computer - you don't see that often, great security company 🥳

Two weeks ago we were at McDonald's at Frankfurt main station because our train was canceled and we were forced to be stranded there. The food was okay, the coffee was very good, beggars or yunkies kept coming or trying to come in and harass the guests, but I think it's very good and important that there are security guards there. He was very good at keeping the guests safe and even told us where the toilet was and even helped us order at the new terminals. Very attentive. Overall we had a pleasant stay. Thank you very much, dear McDonald team

Yesterday an employee at your McDonald's branch told my mother in a very rude manner that she should stop filming the menu because it was supposedly forbidden. When I told him that this could be done at any other McDonald's in the world, as I have been to many other locations worldwide, he insisted and basically threw my order at me. Disastrous customer service from this branch. Your employees should be better trained to meet the company's international standards.

It’s just terrible, everything smells like yellow waste, the staff is just terrible. I’m shocked by the establishment. I wanted to order chocolate ice cream, but as it turned out, the chikolat had run out and I was like a cat crying. They poured HOT CHICOLADA KARL yes Vet, cold ice cream holds up well against boiling water, trash, get busy, get busy with the envy.

Two green leaves and two slices of tomatoes make up the salad, an outrageous thing in a large package. Tables and seats dirty and damaged.
