McDonald's in Balingen

I usually enjoy McDonald’s products and visit regularly, but I had a disappointing experience on May 9, 2025, at 00:10 at the McDonald’s in Balingen. I ordered a menu along with an extra Apple Pie. Unfortunately, when I got home, I noticed the Apple Pie was missing from the bag. I called the restaurant to report the issue, and a woman with a Ukrainian accent answered. I explained that I don’t speak German well, but instead of helping, she began shouting at me and possibly using inappropriate language before abruptly ending the call. I felt disrespected and frustrated by how the situation was handled. I hope the staff receives proper training on customer service and communication, especially when dealing with non-German speakers. Everyone deserves to be treated politely and fairly.

Even when ordering through the drive-thru, the person was stressed and annoyed. I placed my order and all I received were ironic questions and answers. I drove up and paid. Then I received my goods. I wanted to ask something and he held out his hand to me saying I shouldn't talk. It turns out that even the branch manager was what is this person thinking. I hope you'll read through it. You're just a McDonald's store manager taking orders and putting burgers in paper bags.

Was in this McDonald's for the first time today and will never eat here again. I've never experienced anything so unfriendly at the checkout. The lady definitely chose the wrong job.

I ordered from the mcDrive this evening and watched as a rate ran around the garbage cans outside. So people once and never again.

Sehr lange Wartezeit 10 Min. bei Frühstücksbestellung um 10:15 Uhr. Bei Nachfrage warum es so lange dauert,hieß es, dass ein Big Moornig Chicken bis zu 16 Minuten dauern kann. In diesem Fall darf man sich nicht fast food Restaurant nennen finde ich....

The ambience is generally good but if it were a bit cleaner it would be a 4/5 :) But since that's understandable with so many customers who are sometimes a bit clumsy, it's somehow understandable. If you come early, it's even cleaner ;) Please refill the soap a little more often but otherwise it's really great for a fast food restaurant;) The service is nice because the food is usually served warm. If the employees have done something wrong with the order or something is missing, you can just go there and the employees will understand, so you will get it new or if something is missing, that's it :|) As mentioned, the food doesn't always arrive complete or correct, but it balances out. But the food is very tasty, not very greasy, like other fast food chains and much better than anywhere else in a fast food restaurant! Personally, I almost always eat the same thing because I love it! Keep it up!

Unfortunately I can't rate the food because mine never came. If there are a few too many people, the employees are overwhelmed. You have to expect a waiting time of 1 hour at this juice shop. Not recommended!!

It would be desirable if the workforce knew a little bit of the German language. Optionally also read and understand, then it would be almost perfect to be able to serve people here in German-speaking countries. -3- People at once who can neither speak nor read German to be able to carry out an order. It doesn't help that the staff (the staff) get together and want to threaten the guest because they don't understand the criticism of the incorrectly delivered order. The food (the one delivered correctly) was top. The atmosphere is well maintained, but could be a little cleaner. Praiseworthy: no long waiting times at this point.

I had dinner there this evening with my little family What was new to us was the nice security man at the door who even opened it for us. And what we also noticed was that the branch manager today was very committed and extremely accommodating. He helped us choose our menu at the terminal because he was crazy. The food was okay except for two things that were missing, but we got them later at the service point. The food was quite ok. I give the whole thing 4 out of 5 stars

We also like to come after a game and have at least 15 orders at once. But that's not a problem, and we get our orders quickly. We'd be happy to come again.

Here you can find a delicious Big Mac, just like in every McDonald's.

Went to the MC on Saturday at 1:22 but the people at the checkout said yes. This is a mess if you stand in front of the MC until 4 a.m. on Saturday

I can recommend that apart from the little things that were missing for me recently, check before you leave that everything is in the bag

Food was as usual, I ordered via app. Everything worked except the service. I was missing a burger from my order, the Big Mac, which is exactly what I like! Unfortunately, I was already home and the distance was just too far for me. Maybe something will come after the review!

Bin vor 2 Tagen abends in den Drive gefahren und habe dabei eine Ratte entdeckt die locker durch ein Loch an der Tür in das Restaurant gekrochen ist. Werde diese Filiale in zukunft nicht mehr besuchen.

Food is good, but something is always missing or wrong, it can't be that difficult.

Good just to chill out and have a bite to eat/drink but not a proper meal. The food doesn't taste like anything and it's not that cheap either. For the money (even cheaper) you could eat a kebab from a Turkish restaurant you trust. I have the feeling that McD is getting worse over time, even though they try hard to create modern elements and nice ambience.

I was served with a very friendly “Here you go”. The food was top notch.

The Mc Donald in Balingen is actually my favorite Mc Donald ✨ it is beautifully decorated. The staff is friendly. It's quick and tastes delicious. For me there is nothing to complain about except that every time I have been there recently there has been no soap in the women's toilet. 🤔

Finally a good MC visit. Ordering worked great, staff was friendly and committed. To our delight, the fries were golden yellow and slightly crispy. The MC nuggets were also nice and crispy and the burgers were delicious. Keep it up here creates a great team.

Every time you order on the drive, you forget to add the sauce to the fries and curly fries. I specifically asked if that was all and the woman at the counter said yes. Impudence!

Repeats wrong orders – disappointing Unfortunately, I have repeatedly had bad experiences at this McDonald's. Today, instead of a latte macchiato with caramel that I ordered, I was simply given a normal latte macchiato. Unfortunately, such mix-ups have happened to me here several times, including when ordering burgers. This is particularly annoying when you're out and about and don't notice it right away. A little more care in the output would really be appreciated. It's a real shame that you can't reliably get what you order here.

Rude employees, I didn't want ice in the cola, but the employee didn't want to give me the cola I ordered, when I asked for a straw she gave me a lid and waved me away.

Food cold, only one employee in the entire McDonald's mess

The staff was anything but friendly. Rats were running around in the parking lot during the ordering process. I haven't thought too much about it yet. Only when I had severe stomach pain and nausea after 3 hours did I realize that I had made a mistake. I was definitely here for the last time.

No hello, food that was lying around for a few hours. No apology, no other goods received. Disgusting

Starting with the fact that the floor was greasy from front to back and after repeated requests the floor wasn't cleaned even after I was told that I could sue them if I fell down and nothing was done! This with 15 employees who didn't look overwhelmed! Pissing on the toilets and one was missing from two orders of 6 nuggets and 2 from the 20 nuggets! When I asked, I was attacked because of my tone instead of apologizing for the circumstances! Sad...an employee who prepared my food...even ate my missing nuggets in the kitchen...probably! An indictment...and incapable of criticism! And not able to do anything about it if it obviously bothers the customer! Food was good but everything else was unfortunately not recommended!

As always. One of the best McDonald's in the region. Food is always hot and very rarely something doesn't go right.

This old lady on August 20th at 12:45 a.m. didn't want to serve us and was very, very unfriendly. I'm really very disappointed with this Mc. I've always been happy so far, but from now on it's over.

no one should expect quality service The fries were soaked in oil, the oil was not properly drained from the fries. The manager cannot afford to make such a mistake. The images show the “premium hamburger” concept. I was the only one waiting to be served in the restaurant. There were a maximum of 2 cars in the drive thru. My question would be, why do they have to provide such lousy service when the restaurant isn't busy?

Went to Mc on August 11th, 2024, ordered 10 minutes beforehand to pick up, were on the way home after 40 minutes. There were 3 cars in front of us that were waiting for their order, then the order was delivered to the wrong car and after the gentleman checked whether everything was in it, it was discovered that it was the wrong order. The order was then brought to the right car, but they wanted a new order, but I would do that too. Then chaos broke out in the drive because the people inside didn't see it anymore. My friend and my children were whining and sweating completely because we had to wait forever before ordering. The worst thing was that our food was cold, my friend's McRip felt like it was thrown in the packaging and there was more sauce on the packaging and on the burger than in the burger. Cola was stale. Before we left we checked to see if everything was inside. The woman with the ice cream we ordered was already there for those behind us and she looked at us strangely because we were checking, but hey, after something like that So it's getting worse and worse with the Mc in Balingen, pure catastrophe - most people don't even really understand it

They give you melted ice cream that has been there for 3 hours for €4. BK is clearly better 👍

Coffee is the best here. In contrast to the restaurant, feel-good factor. Short additions: For some time now, something has always been missing when you pick something up in the drive. What's that supposed to mean? Do you need that? Things are also missing when there is no stress and at some point mistakes, when they occur more often, are no longer human. Should I sometimes forget to pay?

Something is always forgotten when you order via the delivery service! And you don't even have the chance to report it; because no one answers the phone number given... Really great to pay money for something you never get!

The housekeeper is very phlegmatic and upset that I asked her not to put ice in the glass of juice. Increasingly disappointing, or maybe too stressed.

Totally unfriendly restaurant manager. Was there in the morning with my son. Wanted to have breakfast there. Have selected pancakes menu with warm drink. Since my son doesn't drink coffee at 5 years old! We wanted to choose a hot chocolate. That didn't work. "The machine was defective, they said." Then I asked if we could have water instead, and she said you couldn't choose that. I then said that I saw that too, but what I wanted wasn't possible. I could have chosen tea, but my son didn't want that. The good woman then ran away and talked to her colleague and left me standing there like an idiot. Very rude. We then left. It was too stupid for us

YOU SHOULD BE SUED. I was eating with my cousin and her husband in their branch the day before yesterday. ALL THREE OF US WERE IN THE HOSPITAL BECAUSE OF ONE'S GASTROINTESTINAL INFECTION. Please no one eats there anymore..!!!!!

The problem is the lack of parking. There is quite good parking, but many cars are parked in 2 spaces.

I was there for the first time today and I'll never come back. There are two errors in my order! My husband said: "Burger with fish, ice cream with peach, Big Mac, cheeseburger, fries, Sprite, ice cream with chocolate. And... No fish burgers, no peach in ice cream.

Conveniently located and yet quiet. Small motorcycle parking space right in front of the entrance. The staff is friendly and attentive. Order was brought to the table. Come back.

My daughter and I had the food delivered. The price for delivery is okay. The food was also good so far. There is a deduction for forgotten salad dressing (even though it is noted on the delivery note) and an old, rotten lettuce leaf in the salad.

Tables could be cleaned more often

Following situation: You can comfortably travel around Balingen on your scooter. Suddenly you think to yourself, "Wow, I'm craving a delicious burger from MC's." However, you're a little short on time and want to drive through the drive-in quickly. Then you are told to go to the restaurant and eat there instead of going through the drive-thru. Apparently two-wheelers are not allowed to be operated. As far as I know, this is not forbidden. Just like a car, a scooter is also considered a vehicle that has the ability to drive. For example, will a tractor still be operated because it has four wheels? I don't understand why you can't use the drive-in with a vehicle that only has two wheels. It's just a vehicle. The suggestion that we should go to the restaurant instead wasn't really put in a nice way either. Not evil or rude, but still not really friendly. That's why I unfortunately can't give more than one star, especially when it comes to the service.

The order was taken quickly via the app and brought to my table quickly. The table was clean and freshly cleaned.

Never had negative impressions of this McDonald's, it was always as it should be.

Some employees were unfriendly, including an older woman with glasses who insulted/harassed guests. In the middle of our order at 4 sharp (closing time), because she dawdled beforehand, she no longer accepted our coupons and therefore had to pay a lot more. We didn't feel very comfortable.

Typical MC, could use some renovation

Actually wanted to have breakfast there today. But it hasn't been around for 2 years. Maybe the homepage should be revised slowly. 2 out of 4 order panels out of order. OK, at least the service was friendly. But the prices for what little you get are now absurd. In return you get a real meal in a real restaurant. Unfortunately, MC has declined significantly over the last few years.

The toilet was so dirty that you felt the urge to bathe in disinfectant afterwards. Toilets should never be this dirty.

Nach dem abholen des Essens haben wir leider nicht überprüft ob alles da war was wir wollten. Meine Tochter hat sich sehr über die nichtt vorhandenen Nuggets und Pommes im happy meal gefreut (nicht) wie kann es sein das man immer iwas vergisst einzupacken aber bei Kindern ist es echt eine Schweinerei

Ich kenne keine Filiale von McDonald's, in der die Mitarbeiter so nett und sogar fröhlich bei der Arbeit sind. Update 17.11.2023: weiterhin eine tolle Qualität und die Mitarbeiter sind nach wie vor immer höflich und freundlich. Wenn McDonalds, dann am liebsten hierher.

Super nettes Personal. Sauber und gepflegte Räume. Schnelles Bearbeiten, trotz vollem Haus.

Seit Jahren kommen wir gerne, in letzter Zeit ist jedoch aufgefallen dass auf Sauberkeit eher wenig geachtet wird. Tische sind häufig dreckig, Stühle dreckig,…. Schade.

Mc Donalds Balingen immer wieder gerne, auch wenn das Essen eben nur mal zwischendurch geht...Der Service hängt von den Mitarbeitern ab, es gibt weniger gute Tage, aber auch richtig gute, an denen ich gerne mehr als ein Lächeln da lasse. Ist ein Mitarbeiter weniger freundlich, kriegt er eben das auch so zurück. Im Großen und Ganzen hat es Balingen aber bis jetzt immer gut hingekriegt, auch weniger gut gelaunte Kunden freundlich gegenüber sein zu können, zumindest ist das meine Erfahrung. Gerne immer wieder 😊
