McDonald's in Berlin

Staying in this branch was a completely new experience for us. You're not at all used to the first McDonald's branch where you feel completely comfortable. Friendly and attentive staff. The food was freshly prepared. Everything very clean. (Tue. October 29, 2024 2:25 p.m. - approx. 3:10 p.m.)

After the renovation it looks really nice... unfortunately only the ambience. I have 2 cheeseburgers with fries and Fanta, the cheeseburgers and fries were brought to my table cold. The patty on the burger smells bad and looks bad too. There are 2-3 onions on the cheeseburger. Ambience 5 stars, food unfortunately only 1 star, the Fanta was good.

They constantly don't add the food, especially the fries. You get a little more than half the pack instead of the full one, and the drinks are not topped up a few centimeters to the required level. I don't recommend it.

This McDonald's is very nicely decorated and the staff is very friendly. The order was quick and easy. There is the option to order at the terminal or at the checkout. Table service is also included. Very clean and nicely decorated. If you want to charge your cell phone, there are of course options. Wheelchair users can come in here without any problems, go to the toilet or take orders, everything is available, even vegetarians can do a little something. Of course there is also a Mac drive.

I went to McDrive today to get breakfast. Unfortunately, when I got home I discovered that a McMuffin Sausage & Egg was missing. This is really annoying because it's not the first time it's happened. Very disappointing!

I recently went to the modernized McDonald's on Alboinstrasse and was pleasantly surprised. The interior is very modern and creates a pleasant atmosphere for a quick snack. There are many ordering terminals that are really quick and easy to use, which speeds up the ordering process significantly. A special highlight is the table service. The staff is friendly and ensures that the food is brought straight to the table, which elevates the fast food experience a bit. As for the food itself – it’s the usual McDonald’s standard: tasty and reliable. I particularly liked that they try to encourage customers to separate waste. It shows that they want to become more environmentally conscious. Overall, a solid stop for a quick meal in the area.

Was great there. It has been renovated and remodeled. Looks chic. You feel comfortable and the hamburgers 🍔 are perfect.

The restaurant was rebuilt, completely from left to right. I have to get used to the new design first. For me it defies all logic. But let's get to the most important thing. The order didn't take forever to arrive. It was also complete straight away. And the burger, 'M', looked okay. So all in one, things are looking up.

Attention, no more 24/7. This morning around 0500 an online order was possible, but it wasn't carried out, so a man who was probably cleaning there meant that it wouldn't open until 0600. According to the website it should be open 24 hours a day. Fast food places. Nothing special. I very rarely eat a hamburger. The burgers are getting worse and worse. I ate the Hamburger M on August 26th, 2024, after the reopening. Finally a hamburger that lives up to its name. After the renovation, the ambience has improved and the staff is also friendlier.

Sometimes the wrong food was given out. The stickers on the drinks had already been removed during the competition.

We were here on reopening day on 08/21/24. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The food tasted very good and was very hot/fresh. The seats/furniture are very new and comfortable; the restaurant was very clean.

Very bad McDonald's branch. I most likely got food poisoning here. 20 minutes after eating my meal I had terrible stomach cramps and sat on the McDonald's toilet for half an hour, which is anything but clean and hygienic. Maybe the health department or the official food inspection department should stop by here. Something like that doesn't work at all. McDonald's has been one of the largest fast food chains for several decades, something like this shouldn't happen here as there are certain standards that must be adhered to.

The store is being renovated!!!! It's not open...

We went to the drive in today and bought 3 menus. When we got home we started eating until the McChicken classic was unpacked. There were 2 one euro sized hairy mold spots on the bread. Don't you see something like that when you're packing it? Everyone stopped eating and the other 2 menus ended up in the trash. We then went back to the same branch. There was nothing more than an “Oohhh”! We didn't expect millions or a red carpet. But an apology and possible compensation for the food that ended up in the trash and the journey there again could have been included. But they probably should have left TG there for the great service there and the release of a fresh and not moldy new burger. Unfortunately, I cannot upload the image that has already been sent to the health department here. A sincere apology and insight would have avoided this.

"this will take 10 minutes" before you can order (at half past four at night and no other customers to be seen). It probably always depends on the individual's form on the day :)

Too crowded and bad parking options

It's a classic McDonalds. There are no culinary surprises to be expected. The toilets are functional and clean. There is a small McCafe area. You can almost sit comfortably there with a nice coffee and cake.

It is often full here and getting a parking space can be difficult. But luckily I always got one. Otherwise it's quick here and the food was always fresh. Employees were also friendly. I enjoy going to this McDonald’s. PS: The ice cream machine was never broken when I was there 😄.

Waiting times in the drive-in and at the checkout are sometimes too long. McCafe often closed due to technical problems. Some of the employees speak German very poorly. Orders are often incorrect or very difficult due to a long waiting time. Otherwise easy to reach, enough parking spaces and open almost 24/7.

I was very disappointed with this McDonald's as they didn't fulfill my needs. For example, they gave me a different drink and forgot the sauces for my two citizens. The burger bread had a slightly rubbery consistency and was therefore not very appetizing. However, the employees were good for that. But in my opinion the quality of the food is much more important than the staff. That's why I really didn't like this McDonald's.

In contrast to many other McDonald's, despite its central location, it is clean and has a very high number of employees who are actively working. I haven't found anything negative so far. The only drawback with the burgers, including cheeseburgers, is the excessive amount of ketchup, which bothers me personally. Maybe it's because of the recipe, but having ketchup as a sauce in your mouth with every bite isn't exactly appetizing. Otherwise, you can visit this location again and again if you want to eat at McDonald's.

The employees seem unhappy and unwilling, refusing to serve people. Food delivery people have to wait a long time for the order which is ready and no one is willing to give it..so your food arrives cold at home. If your food arrives cold at home..it is in no way the fault of the delivery person who tries hard to get your order and has to deal with employees who don't care.

We wanted to have breakfast but we were told at 10:15 a.m. that breakfast was only available until 10 a.m. even though the time on the internet was stated as 10:30 a.m. When we wanted to order the Mc Smart menu, I noticed that it suddenly cost €6.29 instead of €5.99 as advertised in all the advertising. When I asked why it had become more expensive, it was explained by the VAT increase from 7% to 19%. However, if you do the math, you would arrive at €6.66 as the correct price with 19% VAT. All of this sounds very unbelievable, since McDonald's didn't pass on the reduced VAT to customers at the time. The tables and benches there were dirty and the cheeseburgers on the menu didn't really look appetizing. Overall, we are very dissatisfied with our “breakfast”.
