McDonald's in Emsdetten

It's McDonald's, nothing more, nothing less. I really enjoy their snacks. The staff is friendly, and the food arrives quickly.

I visited this restaurant with my family on Wednesday. I had to wait a very long time to order from the McDrive. Nevertheless, it's a very nice restaurant. We ordered takeout, and it was delicious. The prices are perfectly reasonable. We might come back.

Unfriendly, unprofessional, and the health department should come by.

I've been waiting for 20 minutes and nothing has happened

The outdoor area was dirty this afternoon. Furthermore, the franchisee has been completely ignoring emails for months due to missing and paid orders.

The food just doesn't taste like other McDonald's. And when you order plant-based burgers and then get meat nuggets, even though it's not busy, I find that quite outrageous. The burgers are also poorly topped and fall apart. On top of that, I now have a stomach ache from the food. Really great... I won't be going back anytime soon; I'd rather go somewhere else.

Everything was perfect, as it should be. I highly recommend Emsdetten and Gronau.

Disrespectful employees. You politely point something out, and you get disrespectful answers and things thrown at you. It couldn't be more disrespectful!

The staff is simply rude! I ordered nuggets and potato wedges with mayo at the McDrive, but I got sweet and sour sauce. I complained at the window. With the words "It said so on the screen, I can't help it," the sauce was ripped out of my hand, a mayo packet was thrown into the car, and the window was slammed shut. We will never eat or order anything from there again.

Maybe they should replace the management here and seriously consider whether something other than catering is an option. There was only ONE car in front of us in the drive-thru, and we still waited 15 minutes. But people who go in come out again with their food after 3 minutes. Burger unwrapped, cucumber lying next to it. Bun lifted, patty only 3/4 whole?! Are you serious? You can tell when you put it down. If I paid only 1.50 instead of 2€, they wouldn't accept it at the checkout, but as a customer driving away, they can just give it to me. You guys aren't running things right there. I've been waiting for half an hour for two coffees and two chicken burgers. It's busy, but I've never experienced such slow service at McDonald's. I'm probably waiting half an hour for a decent meal at a real restaurant. This has nothing to do with fast food. If I hadn't already paid, I would have left long ago.

Ordering at the drive-thru took about 15 minutes. There were only two employees present. For me, this is no longer fast food.

The food was okay. Ordered via kiosk. Parking spaces are quite narrow for today's cars, could be marked much wider... The children's play table is great 👍🏻 Our child loved catching bugs. Why isn't this table available at other McDonald's locations? 🤔

I ordered a McFlurry with Smarties and got one without. But it was still delicious.

We waited 40 minutes for a Coke and a Fanta. Despite repeatedly asking them about it and reminding them of our order, 40 minutes for two drinks isn't normal.

Underground. Since the cash register for the drive-thru McDonald's wouldn't work, I was asked to go inside and order inside... The cash register for inside is only 2 meters away and can also show 19% or 7%, depending on whether I'm eating in or taking it with me. But it was too complicated for the staff. So they yelled at me, "But it doesn't work." A tone that sounded like "you're just out of luck."

Eat at home. It tastes best there. And you have peace and quiet.

Then, when you ask for the manager's number, they just give you a rude answer and hang up. Now no one answers. It took another hour before someone else answered the phone...

A decent McDonald's, better than many others. It looks well-maintained. There's ample parking. There's also an outdoor area.

I'm so disappointed. We used to go there so often just to get something to eat, but now the staff are rude, the interior is dirty, and I don't even want to talk about the food. Either something is missing, something is wrong, or my personal highlight... HAIR IN THE FOOD (since no one there wears hairnets anyway). I wish someone would spruce this place up so we'd be happy to come back, because as of now, we'd rather have the place closed than open.

By far the worst branch I've ever visited. Starting with the parking spaces being used for some event outside of the McDonald's premises, nobody cares, and the employees are just as uninterested in how many people are waiting at the checkout to order/pay because the terminal isn't working. The order was placed at the terminal at 2:28 PM, and we received our order at 3:07 PM. A short time later, when we drove back, the same thing happened. We waited a full 26 minutes for 20 nuggets and two cheeseburgers. The service staff were simply terrible. It must be said, it wasn't exactly packed... That just goes to show, things can always get worse somewhere...

Unfortunately, the food, especially the fries, is usually cold. This is always the case at the McDrive. Sometimes the inside is also untidy/dirty.

I'm not a regular fast food fan... but when I go to a place like this, I at least expect it to be tasty and freshly prepared. For me everything else is a contradiction for what you have to pay for it. For me it will never be an option again. I'd rather spend my money on a real burger.

You can say a lot, but the service is 0, the taste is 0, the cost and speed leave much to be desired. We ordered through the app so as not to wait, as a result, we waited for half an hour, came home and found that 4 items from the order were missing, we had to go again to finally have dinner with the family at 10 p.m.!

I was there today and, to be honest, was pretty disappointed. The place was quite messy. My food was then brought to the wrong table. When I asked for a refund, they didn't even replace part of it, even though the other guest had already eaten some of the fries. Nothing at all to accommodate me.

Eating Valla wasn't tasty and was very sticky. But the one employee with glasses is the most honorable man and very correct. Nevertheless, I'll be back next weekend in full drink.

When I've been to Münster and am driving back home, I like to stop and have something to eat there. They are always friendly and the food has always been hot. HAPPINESS? I have no idea... But I'm glad it's been like this so far.

So I can only confirm the lack of cleanliness. The storage trolley was so full that the rubbish was already falling down. We had no choice but to leave our tablets on the table. No comparison to the Mc Donalds in Rheine. People avoid this store until something fundamentally changes there. A disgrace to McDonalds reputation! The management should check the franchisee!!!

Unfortunately the quality is declining. The Curley Fries were partly raw, the Big Mac and Double Cheeseburger were no longer warm and had probably been lying around for a while, the Big Tasty Bacon that I ordered was missing the bacon...

Were there at 2 a.m. because we still had to drive for an hour. Well, I'm glad I don't live there. Staff is stupid, someone is always gone. Only one serves. Burgers were ready quickly, but it took another 45 minutes until they were in the bag and then delivered to us. If you don't want to work the night shift then you should look for another job

Unfortunately I have to agree. Went there for breakfast for the first time yesterday (9.30am). Nobody was there. Nevertheless the tables were dirty. It was extremely cold because the heating was probably broken. The Nutella is stored in the refrigerator and could not be used because it was extremely hard. So 50 cents for the ton. There was no cutlery and no butter. Then how should you grease your croissant? Reluctantly I was given a wooden spoon with which I had to spread the jam, which was only available twice, onto the croissant. Absolutely poor preparation. The employees weren't particularly motivated either. No hello or goodbye. It's a shame, I paid over €30 for the worst breakfast in a long time. We will definitely never repeat.

I've never experienced anything so disrespectful in all my years. Actually it means customer is king. The saleswoman at the checkout was extremely disrespectful and she also delivered the food to them in an unfriendly way. When I wanted to complain, she said that the boss wasn't in the house. Catastrophically almost inedible food.

This McDonald's is nice and bright and friendly and therefore very inviting, you can also easily reach it with a wheelchair.

For once I'll give the service one star, which is already too much of a good thing. The order is brought to the table but a “Your order please” is completely overrated. Had a bad day or what? You couldn’t even hear music in the background, it was completely out! I left my food tray on the table as a “please” for the staff. This Mäcces...never again!

By far the worst, dirty and unfriendly MC branch I have ever entered. The staff doesn't speak the simplest German language, and their facial expressions make you lose your appetite. There were still dishes on the tables that had not been returned (which I blame on the guests and not the staff) but 3 of the employees had more to do with themselves than removing some of the rubbish. The floor stuck like chewing gum. No, that was definitely the first and last time in this branch.

Unfortunately, instead of plant nuggets, we got normal ones and the outdoor area was not open due to the very good weather. The error was corrected, but it did not appear to have come as a surprise to employees.

Rarely have I seen such a dirty McDonald's branch. The ten-strong staff was visibly overwhelmed with everything and looked more like a flock of chickens. The staff simply walked over any garbage that was left lying around, tables were never cleaned, the floor was wet and dirty from leftover food that had fallen out of the completely overcrowded tablet return station. Our order was called as ready and immediately disappeared from the display and was simply not ready. So we had to wait almost 20 minutes for our order. At least the friendly “management” responded courteously when we were informed about the grievances in this branch and bought us a Mc Sundae. Nevertheless, there is an urgent need for action.

Good day, My son finally wanted to visit a McDonald's branch on the way to Münster. What we found in this establishment was really bad. We came in with little expectations and were still hugely disappointed. This branch is really the last one. There are tablets with leftover food on the floor because the staff is not competent enough to clear them away. If you then consider how expensive all the fun is and the quality of food you get in return, the whole thing is really like something out of a horror film. I don't even want to talk about the sanitary facilities. The inventor of the toilet is spinning in his grave. And then you don't even have reception here. After this experience I will probably have to go to therapy. We should demand compensation because my son could suffer permanent damage. McDonald's? NO THANKS!!!!

Small food and unfriendly staff

I have visited this macdonalds and it used to be a bit loud of children but for the first time it was comfortingly silent!

Catastrophic. Dirty, tables and floors sticking, the trolleys for the trays full, rubbish lying in front of them, unfriendly staff who don't even speak German and who prefer to stand behind the cash register and laugh instead of cleaning, cold food and then you get worse laughed at when you complain about the food.

Employees mostly unfriendly. Burger was spread all over the bag because the packaging wasn't closed properly 👍🏻. Was laughed at when I wanted to unsubscribe from something I had already unsubscribed from. Rather few staff who understand German.

The restaurant is well managed and the food is fresh. Recently our order was incorrect, we complained about it on the website and received a detailed statement about it a few days later. Time was really taken. So if you have the choice between Greven or Emsdetten: definitely Emsdetten!

This is the second time in a row they have made a mistake with my order. Very dirty floors, food has been lying on the floor for at least half a day, garbage has not been removed, if there is not enough staff, then just hire.

Worst McDonald's I've ever been to. Burger meat was probably on display for hours and was far dry. The fries were taken out too early and not salted. I put the royal with cheese back in the package after 1 bite! The toilet facility was virtually flooded and I almost slipped several times! The staff was mixed between rude and disinterested. Never set foot in there again. The responsible system restaurateur should take this to heart.

I was a guest at Mac Drive!! There was a sign at the order counter saying that orders were currently not possible there for technical reasons! So I drove on to the first window! When I got there it was locked!! Then I drove on to the pick-up counter, where I was told I couldn't order here and would have to drive another round!! The first round already took about 30 minutes, should I really do that again??! Just bad service! Since the cash registers and order registers were right behind the young man! In this McDonald's, once and never again!!!

I was there with my 3 grandchildren. In general I can't say anything about this restaurant, I've only been there twice and only for take away. The Happy Meal for the smallest was probably forgotten but included in the calculation. Unfortunately we didn't check the order immediately.

Just ordered two cheeseburgers from Mcdrive and received them quickly. However, on the drive I was surprised at the change in the composition of the burger. Apparently the cheeseburger is now served without cheese. Pretty laughable 😂😂

!Anyone who is vegetarian should be careful! I ordered there today and always look at the patty because I never trusted McPlant and today I bought two McPlant tomato chargrill, both of which ended up being mango chili and one of them had a much thinner patty and I know how Meat patty looks like there which is much thinner. In the other one, the patty was thicker and also had "flat edges" on the edge, which is only with the Mcplant. Both were also ice cold and not really edible.

McDonald's is available at any time of day, but now we regularly have an incorrect order, one bite of the burger you were looking forward to and you pull out a hair. Disgusting, totally annoying. It's no longer what it used to be...

The entire staff was changed who had worked there for years and really provided perfect service. Now there are employees who can't even understand German, simple German! Whether at Mec Drive there are always misunderstandings and both in the restaurant. Mec Donalds definitely saves money at the wrong end! So now I don't go there at all! And a statement from a leading force was "oh, if something is missing, it's not my problem". CRAZINESS! But the complaint is NOT about the staff, but about the management staff! CRUEL how you treat your employees and let them suffer for little money because many of them simply have no other perspective. Just close the shop!

I'm actually always very happy at McDonald's in Emsdetten, but today we were the only customers, 5 employees were standing at the counter, laughing loudly and gossiping about other colleagues. Almost all the tables were very dirty, there was rubbish everywhere and the return trolley was also full to capacity. The food was just slapped onto the table in an unfriendly way, as if we were disturbing us. I would have preferred to leave the store and not eat anything at all.

The staff was very unfriendly, demotivated and disinterested. I didn't get the Coca Cola glass with my order because they said there weren't any left. When I said that I had paid for it, the answer was that the glass was free. After I persisted, I got a glass! I have also observed this situation with other customers. The food was partly cold and partly warm. The drinks were very watery, there was hardly any syrup in them, I also noticed this problem at the tables next to me.
