The Mc Donalds in Castrop-Rauxel was very full but shortly afterwards we got a seat. The food is delicious but the Filet-O-Fish is a little too small!

Everything tastes normal, but the waiting time is clearly too long. I waited almost 20 minutes for a small menu even though there was little to no activity and an employee even said to his boss in front of me: "I have nothing to do, no orders are coming. Can't it always be so relaxed?"

This branch gets a solid "OK". The food... Well. It's McDo. It's the same everywhere. But some are more equal. It is often possible to prepare fresh and perfect food. Personally, I experience problems too often. Sometimes the fries are no longer crispy, rarely even cold (consumed on site). Sometimes the contents of the box seem too “thrown”. The service, in terms of friendliness, is impeccable. If I add the waiting time and completeness to the service, then not. It seems chaotic to me behind the cash registers. As if it wasn't always clear who was working for whom or who was packing which order. Before I just write about the employees and what they achieve there: There's more. Too often I experience that guests approach the employees in a short manner, without a greeting (which should always be included) or simply in a rude manner. The technology is not always at its best. Sometimes the monitor with the pickup numbers goes on strike, sometimes the air conditioning... Under these circumstances I should actually give it five stars. I'll try something different: If you're not in a hurry, check your order, and remain friendly, there's no reason why you won't have a good experience.

The people here have absolutely no idea about anything. As a customer, you have to tell them how to use the cash register. Nothing at all works here in this store. On top of that, I wait 40 minutes for my order. It was the first and last time I came here 0 stars would be better

I went to the MC and a housekeeper treated me very badly just because I'm not German

We live in Castrop. Unfortunately, since we have a child, we can't avoid it. No matter when you go to this branch, the food takes a long time and is cold. What was also noticed was that things were constantly missing from the orders. Not only with us, but also often enough when other guests complained. Cars often line up in MC Drive or in front of the store to wait for orders, especially on weekends and evenings. It's not uncommon to have to wait 40 minutes or more for your order here. We came to the conclusion: poorly trained employees, apparently too few staff.

Never again will you understand something when someone orders 2 MC ribs without onions and gets 1 with and one without. The receipt says 2 without onions. At the counter you will be told you have to enter it for each one individually. I then asked to dispose of the 1, I hope they did. The staff is absolutely overwhelmed, so I'd rather stay in Harpen because they'll talk to you if you don't want to order at this terminal.

Unfortunately, my visit to McDonald's was disappointing. The employees were not friendly and showed little interest in the customers. I had the impression that you weren't welcome here. It's a shame, I expected more.

Probably the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. Some burgers and ice cream not available. Orders took an extremely long time and then they were incorrect. Not just with us. This McDonald's is not recommended.

We are very disappointed. Once again, the personalization requests were not taken into account during the meal, which unfortunately we only noticed at home when we opened the burgers. As a person with various food intolerances, I don't find this funny at all. The internet says it's even open 24 hours a day on Sunday, but you can only go there from 8 a.m. So save yourself the journey and go around the corner. You can only go there from 7 a.m.!!!

This has nothing to do with fast food. Orders are marked as ready earlier so that the statistics are correct. Otherwise, nothing beats a wait of less than 15 minutes. All completely planned here.

We waited 1 hour for ONE BURGER and a few weeks later almost 2 hours for burger and fries because our receipt fell down. Plus, in the end it wasn't even good. Super unhygienic, someone coughed on a salad and did it on a burger with his bare hand. Generally very poor hygiene. Almost everyone is always excited and tense because everyone is served way too late.

I ordered to take away for 41 euros. They put everything in the bags. Call my number 222. Take it and drive home. At home I want to distribute the food and? Half is missing. Man, I'm angry. How stupid do you have to be? To only pack half. They have the order on the monitor. You take things one by one and pack them up. I think they do that extra. And at the end of the day they take the surplus home with them. And stupid me, I don't check the bag, I just trust the operator. Once and not again. You would have to hire real people who can read and not combine.

The place is getting worse and worse. The three of us here and after half an hour we asked what the food was. The small orders were always brought forward and so we waited almost 45 minutes. Then, as always, sauces were missing and not everything was warm. And not to forget the cleanliness leaves something to be desired.

A nice, clean location right off the highway exit. There are plenty of parking spaces in the green. There are also 2 charging stations here. The order is processed quickly. An MC Drive is also there. When the weather is nice you can also sit outside and enjoy the sun. All in all, nothing is left to be desired. Gladly again.

The WORST McDonald's branch in the world that I know of. No matter what city or country I was in - this place shoots the day. BASICALLY parts of the order are forgotten, prepared incorrectly or are simply old and therefore inedible. The staff is incompetent and simply unable to properly hand over an order to the customer… The place is dirty and the toilets are an imposition. ONE working toilet, ALL urinals (pee toilets) broken, urine everywhere and some feces on the floor and on the walls, it stinks, there is paper on the floor, no paper to dry your hands, no disinfectant and the hand dryer doesn't work either. This store simply can't continue to run like this and should better free up the space for something else. I'm also thinking about reporting the whole thing to the health department - I'm sure there's a lot to be found there...

The food meets McDonald's standards and is therefore completely ok. However, the service leaves a lot to be desired. Waiting times are ok. However, the employees seemed completely annoyed because my app showed errors and advised them to contact staff. Parts of the order were repeatedly “forgotten”. If there are promotional items (glasses, or currently pins) you always have to check and request them, otherwise they will definitely be missing.

The shop was just rubbish. Burgers weren't fresh, my glass was forgotten and the wrong burgers were sold that I actually wanted 🤬🤬🤬

We've actually been coming here for years because unfortunately it's the only branch near us where we could get warm food (from McD) until we got home. But every order has been incorrect for years. In fact, we have yet to receive an order that was completely as we ordered it. You learn from it and over time we got into the habit of checking the order immediately after it was handed out and complaining immediately. Because we knew that no orders were complete yet. It doesn't matter whether you ordered it in advance, in the drive or in the store. Always the same game. But now with the last order the hammer came. It was relatively empty in the store and we took our order again and checked it immediately. The only thing missing was, how could it be otherwise, the sauces for the nuggets, but they were missing. Complained and got it. Back home and found the surprise. Cheeseburgers had no cheese, just ketchup and a patty. This was the case with 4 out of 6 cheeseburgers and they were wrapped in cheeseburg paper!!!, 1 hamburger was also missing, which we missed in the store. Checking the order is one thing, but the fact that we now have to unpack all the burgers to check whether they are correctly topped defeats the purpose. Because it takes far too long and the food is cold when we get home. Therefore we will no longer go to this branch. This is really too much. Complaint sent out, but no response from store to date. Now you don't have to do it anymore. This has overstepped the mark. So to the competition after BK. We haven't even had anything comparable in terms of problems.

Mcdrive waited 20 minutes for a happy meal and mcsmart menu... Outrageous. I was supposed to move forward a few meters and wait... I completely forgot to place the order and ended up getting hit on by the team!

They lure people with coupons that don't work. This isn't the first time either, and something is always missing when ordering.

Easter Monday, 12:30 - 2 cars including us in McDrive, 30min. Waited for our order to be given to the wrong customer once when there was so little crowd (stress excluded). The poor woman at the McDrive is alone coordinating because the others didn't speak German...

Bad employees, they don't know any German, they don't even know what frozen yogurt is even though they sell it, they can't speak any German either

Really bad. Something is always missing from the orders and the peak was today: 30 minutes of waiting time after ordering at the terminal despite the empty shop. Our order was probably ignored. Then supposedly ready for pickup and when asked, the order was crammed together at the back of the table, really underground.

I've never eaten at McDonald's as bad as it was on March 2nd. One portion was completely forgotten, which of course we only discovered when we got home. I couldn't get anything done by phone. Not again for me. Food was also cold.

Unfortunately, additives such as extra meat have often been missing. But the worst thing so far was the Bigmac without sauce. Addendum... Now the employees "forgot" to pack a bigmac and the royal cheese sauce. Then the food is still cold when we check it in the branch!!! So soon I'll go behind the counter myself and after me my burge. I haven't experienced anything so incompetent at mc'd in a long time. Plus it's always dirty if you're there after 7 p.m.

Ordered Big Mac with extra sauce and extra pickles. Burger received completely without sauce and pickles.

Can't say much, we were there by car and took food with us

The orders are always incomplete. Of course, you only notice this when you get home. So you are forced to check the delivery while still in the car. That's stupid because you're always sent to wait in front of the entrance, where you have to block parking spaces.

Here in CR, almost like at all McD's these days, getting food is more and more a kind of entertainment. Ordered yesterday at the drive in at 10:50 p.m., received food at 11:35 p.m., cold. Even the employee said “please I beg you to write a bad review” 😂

My son got a Coke today. At the first sip he noticed that it didn't contain any carbon dioxide and wanted to exchange it. However, this didn't work because he had already drunk from it. How else would he have discovered that something was wrong with the drink?

Parts of the setting are always missing on the Macdrive

I advise everyone to eat their food only with a winter jacket, due to the low temperatures in the store. Models such as Wellensteyn or Canada Goose are recommended. Then the nuggets taste particularly wintery.

I was at the restaurant with my family today and ordered table service using the app. There is a sign on the table with a reference to the app and a table number. I ordered via the app and provided the table number. 2 orders were placed because something is almost always forgotten with larger orders. After about 10 minutes the first order came and without any problems. I wait in vain for the second order. After another 10 minutes a number is constantly called. Since I only see my table number in the app and not my order number, I go forward and ask. I show my phone and ask if it could be my order. The employee's reaction was catastrophic. The employee started talking to me stupidly, telling me that I should draw a sign and not enter any numbers. I pointed out that there was a sign with the table number on all tables and I just stuck to it. In addition, the first order went without any problems. A discussion then ensued and the dear gentleman started getting cheeky and making more and more fools of me. Since I was tired of the discussion, I picked up my tray and just left. To date I have never experienced such poor service and as a customer I was treated like “dirt”. The gentleman's tone and facial expressions spoke for themselves. Unfortunately there is no emphasis on service here. The food was already cold and the sauce (mayonnaise) was forgotten. Unfortunately I can't recommend the branch to anyone. I will never eat there again.

Oft wird überfüllt bzw. die Mitarbeiter wirken überfordert oder sind unterbesetzt. Dadurch oft längere Wartezeiten.

Bei Außentemperaturen von 2 Grad wäre es sinnvoll zu heizen. Mega kalt in der Filiale, Tische verschmutzt und unangenehmes Ambiente.

Sauber und nettes Personal. Leider seit neusten sehr kalt. Essen im Restaurant nur in voller Winterkleidung möglich. Viele Gäste mit Kindern haben sich beschwert => keine Reaktion und das Personal friert ebenfalls lt. eigener Aussage.

Personal wird schnell aggressiv gegenüber Kunden, ist bei viel Betrieb nicht stressresistent. Bei Bestellungen zum mitnehmen wird öfter etwas vergessen einzupacken

Normalerweise hab ich wirklich schlechte Erfahrungen machen müssen, vorherige Bewertung war nur 1 ☆ ! Ich ändere hiermit die Bewertung heute! Glatte 5☆ muss ich geben! Die Dame die Abla heißt ist wirklich eine sehr freundliche Mitarbeiterin, Höflich und geduldig + Der Service stimmte endlich mal nach 100x McDonalds So muss das sein! Wäre sehr wünschenswert wenn alle Mitarbeiter so sein könnten die in der Filiale arbeiten.

Also das man mittlerweile für eine Pommes und zwei Cheeseburger über 25 Minuten warten muss ist doch ein Witz. Dafür daß der burger dann eher lau warm statt heiß ist. Dieser MC Donalds ist eigentlich immer schmutzig. Die Tische werden nicht mehr abgeräumt oder mal abgewischt und die Toiletten sind oft super dreckig.

Traurig wirklich , als Gast sich an einen dreckigen Tisch setzen zu müssen und das Personal nach einem Lappen fragen zu müssen um die Tische zu putzen . Die Dame wischte mit einem schmierigen Lappenüber unseren Tisch so das ich lieber selber nach geputzt habe ! Pommes quasi kalt und Coke Zero ohne Kohlensäure!
