When I got home, all the sauces I ordered were missing, the churros were cooked completely differently than ordered, and one of the fries was missing. And this has happened repeatedly – ​​items are missing. Avoid this place at all costs...

We received our order, but five sauces were missing, and the wrong sauce was used for the churros. On top of that, all three packages of fries were cold, and ice cubes were put in the Cokes even though we selected "without" ice. Very disappointing. We paid over €60 for so much to be missing.

I'd give zero stars if I could. It's simply unacceptable that the staff can't even manage to fulfill an order with THREE burgers. We've been to this branch many times, and EVERY SINGLE TIME there are problems. A burger is constantly missing, or a special request is ignored. They've even put the order number on the burger with stickers and pictograms for dine-in and takeaway, and yet it's still impossible to get the complete/correct order. It's an absolute disgrace.

I ordered 20 nuggets and then realized at home that they were actually 20 chili cheese nuggets! Burger King is only 15 minutes away from me. If I were to go there again now, it would take me 30 minutes! This kind of thing just shouldn't happen!

I will completely avoid the drive-thru from now on. It's far too slow, and the order is often put together incorrectly. Furthermore, you have to repeat yourself three or four times because German isn't the predominant language there. The problematic clientele is also present in the parking lot and at the entrance.

We went to Burger King in Castrop-Rauxel on November 14th around 8 pm. Unfortunately, the visit was very disappointing. The restaurant told us they didn't accept cash, and I was asked to leave. We then went through the drive-thru. There, we initially noticed that a Coke was missing, but after pointing it out, we eventually got it. However, when we got home, we discovered that a portion of fries was completely missing. A call to Burger King yielded no solution, no delivery of the missing fries, and no apology. Instead, we were met with rude and insulting responses. Overall, the service was very poor, and the customers were treated disrespectfully. This is not what you expect from a large chain like Burger King.

I'm really disappointed. First, I waited ages, then the burgers finally arrived, and then they were even small – they're skimping on the toppings. I ordered a big meal deal and a chili nugget. I'm a petite, thin woman, and I still wasn't full. That's unacceptable! I paid almost €17 and didn't get enough to eat. Furthermore, I don't understand why there were so many people behind the till, yet the burgers took so long to arrive. How is that possible? How can the meat be cold with so many staff, especially since the place was empty? It seems like there are two managers (male) because they were chatting loudly about personal matters behind the till in their own clothes. Very professional (irony).

The staff were rude and cheeky. I arrived at 11:00 PM, but I still wasn't allowed to eat in the restaurant because they wanted to clean, even though they were still open for another hour.

1:30 and the damn store is closed even though it's supposed to be open until 2:00.

Both vending machines are broken, there's no selection of soft drinks or summer drinks, and many coupons say "This coupon cannot be used in this store." First and last time.

The drive-thru employee was very friendly on October 10, 2025. Currently, there's a promotion where you get a free fries with a review. This may influence the ratings. However, the tortilla wrap was great during the day. In the evening, the quality declined somewhat in my sample. Burgers tasted old, and some were sold out. McDonald's actually has better burgers in my area, like the McDonald's Crispy, for example. My review refers to the branch in Castrop-Rauxel near the Augsburg garden center. Also, a tip for the cleaning staff: the urinal scents are always placed the wrong way round xD The nubs belong at the top 😅

(5 stars) However, 09/2025: Everything has deteriorated dramatically; most of the food isn't delivered hot, let alone warm. Since ordering kiosks have been introduced, the employees prefer not to be spoken to. The men's restroom stinks; something is constantly broken or out of order. The ambiance itself is very good, but the tables are often neglected. There are often still food crumbs left on them.

Terrible. Been there 3 times in the last few months. Apart from the fact that each time it just so happened that the person serving me was someone with a language barrier, terrible service. Waited about 15 minutes or so for 3 items. Sauce was missing even though you asked when ordering, plant-based nuggets... I had never ordered them. It's annoying when that happens once. But on my last few visits I always had to wait a long time and even more annoying was when something was missing, the last time they even gave me the wrong bag. Back then it was almost impossible to have a conversation with the person because of the language barrier. A real shame. Unfortunately I have to say it's the worst Burger King in many respects. And not just once.

Hello, we wanted to place an order at the McDrive but it was refused with the words, "Come in, brother," so we drove to McDonald's.

Not a bad Burger King, I waited about 10 minutes for my order, and the place was completely empty. I got takeout, and the food was delicious and hot (I don't know why people complain). The fries were heaped, and I got the hot pepper jack (I highly recommend it). They packaged everything in separate bags and included plenty of napkins (Mac, for comparison, might not even include them; they're in short supply, dammit). The restroom was also clean. A well-deserved 5 stars, well done!
