The owner is very stingy. I wanted a little more sauce on my currywurst and was immediately told to pay an extra 60 cents. At other chip shops, this is part of the customer service.

I had currywurst today. Incredibly good. Absolutely fantastic. Mika really does a great job. The only downside is that a hot food option for eating in would be great. But that's really nitpicking. Thanks and keep up the good work!

We are absolute fans of "Curryhaus" – it's practically a weekly must for us... :-) The currywurst with fries is simply unbeatable, and my kids love stopping there. The staff is always super friendly, the curry sauce (nice and pleasantly spicy) is simply fantastic, and the value for money is absolutely spot on. We really enjoy coming back again and again. So I can't understand some of the negative reviews at all... Keep up the good work – you're a great team!

The fries are a 10/10, nice and crunchy, and the sausage is also tasty and has a good skin. I'll definitely order again. The curry sauce is also very good.

Used to be great, but since the fire at the hardware store across the street, it's unfortunately been a flop. Experiences on-site: • 🍟 Fries: Old and re-fried – no sign of "fresh." • 💶 Price: No longer cheap, but recycled quality. The whole thing here follows the shrinkflation principle: same prices, but smaller portions. • 🥄 Mayo: Two tiny squirts from the dispenser, more like a game of hide-and-seek than a side dish. • 🌭 Currywurst: A mini-ladle of sauce – not even enough for half a bun. • 🙂 Staff: Friendly, yes – but that doesn't justify the portions and prices. Conclusion: I'll still give it three stars. The burgers and hot dogs are still very good – but the pricing and portion sizes have dropped significantly.

We usually love eating at Curryhaus, but today it was really disappointing. The fries were terrible, they must have been fried twice. It was impossible to enjoy. I think that's completely unacceptable. The bratwurst wasn't great either.

The delivery takes 1.5 hours. Then you think you'll drive yourself because it'll be faster, and then the card reader doesn't work (not since yesterday). So I had to go back to the Sparkasse to pick up the money, and when I arrived, I thought the food was ready, only to find they hadn't even started. I don't know if the ladies at the front are always stressed, but I find them very unfriendly. That was the last time!

The currywurst with the homemade sauce is top-notch! Everything else tastes great too. The staff are very friendly, and you can also eat outside. There's plenty of parking. Addendum: The delivery times have been a real joke for some time now. Sure, it's busy sometimes, but if I have to wait over 60 minutes for ONE dish, then I should consider whether I should continue offering delivery. Unfortunately, this is the third time in a row. For more than one dish, you can easily wait 2 hours. Sorry, better not to offer delivery service then. Hence, one star deduction.

A very well-maintained snack bar with covered seating for outdoor dining. The staff is friendly, and the food is delicious. We've occasionally taken something to go or eaten in. The food is excellent there. It's located in Castrop-Rauxel on Westring, opposite the Hagebau building. There's also a potato pancake hut. There's ample parking.

Be sure to stop by and try the Reibeplätzkes (sweet potato pancakes) at the cart! They taste just like Grandma used to make them! Reißeplätzkes are available: Tues. + Thurs. 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. And every first Saturday of the month.

We like to take something to go. The special fries and currywurst with jalapenos are super delicious and incredibly cheap. We always enjoy coming back. The staff is always super friendly, too. 👍 🥰

The currywurst with fries was very good. Drinks are served in glass bottles. The service was very attentive and friendly. Very well-maintained snack stand with standing room inside and covered seating outside. Ample parking is available. Close to the highway exit. Ideal for a stopover.

The food is always delicious. Why they have such "odd prices" is a mystery to me. A young man who works there is always very friendly. The two ladies who are usually there are not friendly at all and mumble things to each other, so you have to ask twice what they said. You don't feel welcome.

Very tasty food and extremely good fries but unfortunately extremely greedy for profit... for example, changing the spice ketchup to tomato ketchup on a hot dog costs 40 cents extra, and for example mayo instead of hot dog sauce costs another 40 cents on top of the regular price because it is an "extra request". You can do that, but you'll scare people away a bit, especially regular customers. In addition, a deposit is generally charged for the menus EVEN THOUGH YOU EAT ON SITE, but the deposit boxes are outside so that you put your bottle in after eating it and leave. Rock-solid french fries shop, with a manageable menu and fair prices. Stop about once a week on the way home. So far I have nothing to sound on. Pom.Curry, Pom.CrangeFrika. (goat sauce), hot dog and my favorite: chili burger, 2 handfuls full, with a really good spiciness, top keep it up. Maybe ☺️ even if it's stressful.

There are probably other variations too, such as fairground sauce, with cheese, etc. If you want it spicier, you can also add jalapenos. The fries were tasty, but a tad too hard. Tip: Saver menus were also offered with a drink and a pick-up chocolate bar. Good outdoor seating options when temperatures permit. A matter of taste. Recommendation

Best currywurst fries in town! Always my pleasure. You can also sit outside in a well-protected area. The view of the parking lot and the area from the demolished hardware store isn't pretty, but it's perfectly fine for a short break.

It's okay. Unfortunately, the curry sauce is quite boring and tastes slightly like Hela Curry Ketchup. But at a currywurst stand, the most important thing is the sauce, so I don't want to be reminded of a mass-produced product. Value for money is slightly too expensive.

One of the best “sausage stands” in the Ruhr area. There are menu options (food with a drink), two currywurst with fries in the menu cost us around 16.50 euros. The food was very tasty, the employees were very friendly. One criticism: All soft drinks are 0.33 liters while water is only 0.25 liters. Water should be at least the same size.

The last time I ordered from the store! After the specified delivery time, I received the message that my order was being prepared NOW! When I asked, the operator got cheeky and canceled my order! I didn't get any money back... NEVER AGAIN!

Really a great snack! French fries and currywurst at a fair price and, above all, very tasty. Definitely the best in the area in my opinion. You even get a little treat with the menu to satisfy your hunger for something sweet. There are enough parking spaces and there is even a pavilion with enough seats so that you don't have to eat your food standing up somewhere. Keep it up! I always like to come back.

The food was very good, unfortunately the prices were not.

So that wasn't for us. We wanted to eat shashlik again, like before, and came to the curry house because it was offered there. Unfortunately, shish kebabs were no longer on offer and we were warmly recommended an alternative, namely "CURRY CRACKERS WITH FRIES". We then picked it up there and I have to say: it was an absolute failure. These are a few small pieces of meat sausage with a “ketchup sauce”. There were still onions on it that looked like cooked cabbage and then tasteless. The fries were packaged separately and quite okay. Well... we tried it and got rid of more than half of it So as I said: You can try it out, but for us it's out of the question...

Original Kirmescurrywurst ganz bequem auf der Couch genießen ist dank "Das Curryhaus" möglich. Das Essen ist unglaublich lecker und der Service im Laden unglaublich freundlich.

Durchschnittliche Pommes Bude, alles ok.

Also der Kollege serviert schon eine gute Currywurst. Die Wurstqualität ist gut und auch die Soße hat einen guten Geschmack mit einer leichten Schärfe. Beim nächsten Mal teste ich den Hot Dog. Nur das Personal ist etwas wortkarg und es gibt draußen nur 2 kleine Stehtische. Wohlverdiente 4 Sterne von mir.

Ambiente schlicht und ergreifend. Aber dafür war das Essen super... Currysauce etwas zu scharf für mich aber das ist Geschmackssache. Komme wieder für Pommes speziel!

So eine Bude ist heute zu Tage schwer zu finden . Modern aber alle Klassiker vorhanden . Und dazu auch noch super lecker und freundlich ! Wir kommen wieder !

Wir habe über Lieferando bestellt. ich habe mir eine grosse Pommes Spezial mit Currywurst gegönnt für schlappe 11.78€ War jetzt nix besonderes, weder war die Portion größer wie normal noch war Blattgold drauf. Die Bestellung war schnell ,das Essen war auch nicht schlecht, nur der Preis nicht angemessen. Ich kann mir nicht vorstellen das der Betreiber daran schuld ist, aber 5 Sterne hat die Summe nicht verdient.

Schaschlik zäh und kleine Stücke 1 dünnes Stück Zwiebel.Aus dem Angebot genommen.... Personal nicht alle freundlich. Hotdog war schon mal besser. Preise ordentlich angehoben.Was sollen eigentlich die komischen Preise? 2,19 5,99 usw.

3 Sterne sagen ja noch "Ganz okay" aus und mehr war es dann leider auch nicht. Hatte mir auf Grund der vielen 4-5 Sterne Bewertungen mehr erhofft, was den Geschmack angeht. Die Currywurst Pommes war gut aber nichts besonderes zumal die Portion nicht gerade groß war. Frage mich auch was man mit den ganzen krummen Preisen erreichen möchte.
