No fries at 10 a.m.??? At a long-distance train station in the capital? KFC had fries, strange.

Unfortunately, another disappointing experience at McDonald’s Gesundbrunnen (Hanne-Sobek-Platz, Berlin). I had a to-go order, and once again, an item was missing from the bag—this time the McDouble Chili Cheese. This isn't the first time this has happened to me, and it seems to happen remarkably often with takeaway orders that can only be checked later—for example, on the train. With prices like these and today's digital order tracking, this simply shouldn't happen anymore. It's starting to seem like this isn't a coincidence anymore, but rather a sign of carelessness or inadequate checks during order fulfillment. It's a real shame—this isn't how you build trust. I hope management finally reviews their processes more thoroughly so that customers actually receive what they paid for.

The entire train station area smells of urine and diarrhea.

I went to buy a Friends mug for my friend. German breakfast hamburgers are much bigger than those in China; you can only say they're expensive for a reason…

I ordered online. The food was freshly prepared and relatively quick. I waited less than a minute. The place was very clean and the staff was friendly. The food was delicious. Everything was very clean and the staff was friendly.

We had to wait 30 minutes for our order, and when we asked about it, they talked about making an exception so we could get our food as quickly as possible, as if that weren't a given. Our drink was forgotten, and we had no chance to ask for it. The staff were totally incompetent.

It tasted delicious😋 (an MC smart menu), and it filled me up. I waited about 10 seconds and the food was ready. Above all: the staff was very friendly.

Horror. Unsanitary. No toilet. Dirty place. Workers without gloves. They touch each other, fix their hair, then the same fingers are put into a potato bag to open it.

Be careful, at the checkout they blatantly cheat you and give you the wrong change, expecting you to simply not pay attention. It wasn't very pleasant, but they didn't manage to fool me.

We waited like idiots for 25 minutes for two burgers. They didn't even apologize and tried to make it seem like it was our fault. Since our order was announced and it was stolen, is it our problem that your orders are stolen or yours? In short, if anyone's waiting for a train and thinking of grabbing a quick bite, eat some fresh air, because no one will refund the 70 euros I lost because of the missed train.

Only true Mc Donalds fans can eat here. There's no water in the snack bar to wash your hands; the food is thrown onto a table like animal food. Afterward, you're supposed to pick up the burgers yourself.

I ordered two McChickens and got a small fries and a McPlant. First of all, who orders something like that, and secondly, how could you possibly mix it up?

Bad quality - they add chilly sauce instead of ketchup sometimes, their donuts are far from fresh. By default they give you coffee from a button machine instead of a horn one, even if you ordered from the horn one, you need to push to get what you want and paid for

The workers are really disrespectful and the old lady at the checkout, I wanted to ask something and then she immediately said I don't speak your language, how rude!!

Honestly, I've rarely experienced such a disgusting McDonald's! The place was absolutely filthy – trash all over the floor, the tables sticky, and the restrooms a nightmare. Not only did the food taste stale, but it also made my stomach churn the night after – I was sick! This is simply unacceptable. Anyone who goes here needs to seriously consider whether they want to put themselves through this. For me: never again!

A very poor pickup experience. The pickup numbers displayed on the screen are completely useless and don't match the actual order at all. I ordered Sprite and a special watermelon drink. When ordering, it wasn't mentioned that they were unavailable. Only when I picked up was I told I could only have Coke or Fanta, with no other options. When I inquired, the manager was very rude and lacked any service awareness. Hopefully, the management and service will improve, otherwise the experience is truly abysmal.

The food is lukewarm and takes a long time to arrive. Without the train station, this McDonald's would be deserted, and rightly so. There isn't even a restroom.

Bad service and the bad managers behave with customers

Totally disorganized. Waited 40 minutes for a latte, only to miss it in the end because I would have missed the train. Breakfast then without coffee.

Rude staff!! Also, I don’t understand how much does it cost for Indian staff to say hello and smile when someone is greeting you! Me myself being an Indian have observed similar patterns in other stores as well! Burger was worst, when asked for a straw for the drink, the lady rudely replied its finished. low quality!

Please delivered order without bag because too many time waste and many people fixed permanent bag with cycle. Only Uber and wolt.

Unfortunately, the food was not good at all. The burger was cooked too long and the fries were not salted, and the seasoning didn't match the menu. McDonald's isn't what it used to be... I also tried McDonald's around the world and unfortunately, it didn't taste good, and the fries were not salted there either... what a shame...

Very unfriendly service staff. They gave my order to the wrong person and then blamed me for it. When they reordered, they made the wrong order and tried to blame me again, even though they had my receipt. Truly abysmal customer service.

It's hard to say whether the food was good, as it was McDonald's, but by this company's standards, it was okay. The biggest problem was the service; of the four ordering kiosks, only one was working. After a while, it turned out that all they had to do was replace the receipt roll. While ordering, I discovered that my kiosk was also out of a roll (the previous customer still received a receipt). I didn't know my order number. After reporting this to one of the employees, he told me to wait, then went to another employee, said something, and that was it. I stood there for a while waiting for my order and had to guess which one was mine. I waited about 15 minutes, and no one replaced the roll, even though they had it in stock.

I ordered a hot chocolate for €3.49, and what I got felt like water. I complained politely and asked for a new one. At first, I was told, "Well, I drank half of it (my partner had tried it too), then they made me a new one by hook or by crook. I was supposed to try it in the store, but I still burned my tongue. The new hot chocolate tasted just as watery. I drank it, and when it was empty, there was baked-on cocoa powder at the bottom. I don't understand what's so difficult about making hot chocolate. The staff were also unfriendly, and they didn't even speak German in my presence, so you couldn't understand anything. They were also finishing the burgers in the background without gloves, which is also very unhygienic. Rethink the way they treat paying customers. That's not customer service. A disgrace.

Never again! So, a few years ago, we had food poisoning. We hadn't eaten a McDonald's for years, and then last weekend, the family and I decided to go to McDonald's today. I ordered two cappuccinos (regular) today and opted for the option to pay at the cash register. Unfortunately, there was no one at the cash register for quite some time. After finally making my way to the McCafé area, I asked an employee where I could pay. The employee directed me to another cash register – but there, too: no one. Only after repeated inquiries was someone finally called. Until then, I stood around for quite a while, perplexed – no information, no visible service, no friendly greeting whatsoever. Service? None at all. What was particularly annoying, however, was that I specifically requested that the cappuccino come from the piston machine rather than the machine. I was assured that this was possible. But the taste of the coffee was clearly from the machine – just with plenty of milk foam. I feel deceived because I didn't receive what I ordered and communicated. Overall, the visit was very disappointing. Especially in a busy station like Gesundbrunnen, where many travelers want to quickly grab a coffee or snack, the service should work – and the staff should be trained, visible, and friendly. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case here at all. I sincerely hope that this feedback is taken seriously – and that the service and transparency towards customers improve. Things certainly can't stay this way.

it is super slow. one person as a cashier and at the same time giving away orders - large queue for nothing. one person cooking - all of the million orders - can you imagine the demand on the railway station?

Learn to fill your damn McFlurry and don't sell me less than what is in a normal McSundea

When I went there they gave me the wrong order for the first time and the people behind me were they got their order before me but unfortunately I got it later even though I was in front of them and a woman called my number and when I wanted to pick up my order she said loudly "I haven't called you yet" I want to inform you about this

When the burger boxes fell to the floor, they lay there for about a minute, and then one of the employees immediately placed them back on the counter and then on the shelf. I had to wait over 20 minutes for my order, and when I asked, she took my bean. It's been about 8 minutes since she took it. When I wanted to speak to the shift manager, I was told to wait. It's been 4 minutes, and still nothing.

I would have given minus stars if that were possible. It's a disgrace that the opening hours are until 2:00 a.m. and it's not even open until 2:00 a.m. It's a disgrace. The McDonald's at Gesundbrunnen is typical of the chain: fast, convenient, and often busy. Service is usually efficient, although it can take a while during peak hours. Cleanliness is acceptable, and the standard menu items are reliable. Ideal for a quick bite on the go. It's a shame that some items aren't available, like pancakes.

I ordered again from Uber Eats, and again the product was missing. They never sent the entire Happy Meal. This time I received it without fries and without a drink.

They're advertising a free 20-year Edition Glas, and the employee said it's only available to app users. That's very misleading and disappointing. :(

I ordered on my tablet what was available in the store: two meals and snacks. When I asked about the glasses for the meals, I was told they were only available with an app order. I don't really believe that, but okay 👌 Because it wasn't like that until the last few glasses were sold out.

ordered food over ubereats, even though i live only a couple kilometers away, food arrived cold and soggy. the fries portions were pathetic. they didnt bother to make new fries for me, they just put the cold ass fries in my bag and gave it to the delivery driver. on top of that, i didnt receive the mcflurry. i dont wish this shit on my worst enemy. my night is ruined.

We had a really bad experience at McDonald's and would seriously question whether we would ever go there again. We ordered a coffee (see picture) which was ordered at 7:46am although the coffee was ready along with many other customers but there were delays in service. We had to leave together with other customers after spending almost €5 without receiving the order as the train wasn't running.

Very disorganised and rude staff sometimes, I don’t expect luxury but my order didn’t showed on the screen even though the money were booked from my bank, then the lady straight up yelled at me and talked rude, not the first time when they mess the orders. Also the mc app has a ratio of 50/50 of working, i stopped using it because its just failing way too often, if you can’t maintain it shut it down

Pretty good place to place a takeout order, as they’re quick and efficient, but I wouldn’t recommend eating/dining in here. It’s often very crowded and loud, as it is in a heavily trafficked train station. They’re also great for delivery!

The Albanians need a salary increase to get the shop running. It's different with the red-haired lady/diverse. I think her testosterone level is above average because she believes that her father owns this shop. There are 2 women, I mean specifically, the one who talks like this: "ditt watt vest blown" this lady sniffs a bit unpleasantly in a fishy direction and gives you the feeling that she's going to tear your burger apart. Ordered via Uber Eats, received completely wrong order. No one answers, no one is available, and Uber Eats doesn't want to refund my money either. Really an absolute disgrace.

My friend and I went out to eat. We tried to place a contactless order at the machine and the amount came out to €22.76. We paid by card but the payment was not made and the money was debited. They said they didn't know anything and couldn't help. We decided to wait, maybe it was a mistake and they would give us the order or refund the money, but after 20 minutes nothing happened. When we tried again we were yelled at and almost thrown out. The result: €22.76 less on the card and a spoiled mood. (we have observed that other visitors failed to order from this machine)

We ordered from Uber eats and unfortunately we didn't receive our order!!! The first driver wrote to us and said that our food had already gone out. We called the restaurant and the lady on the phone said in an annoyed tone: “She had already given out our food” (most likely to the wrong driver) Since Uber eats has a tracking function, we could see that our food hadn't gone out yet and a second driver was on the way to pick it up. He also said that our food had gone out and that we should call the restaurant and confirm our order. We tried this but unfortunately no one answered!!! The third driver is already on the way to pick up the food, which the lady unfortunately gave out incorrectly! Super dissatisfied with this McDonald's branch!!! Of course, the poor drivers also lose money due to this mistake. Unfortunately we can no longer cancel and a new driver will be appointed until the restaurant cancels We stay hungry!

Ubereat's order came very quickly but Filet-o-fish is inedible, dry fish, hardly any sauce & cold cheese. Drinks were in the same bag as the food = cold food and warm drinks! the fries and curly fries are only half full. If drinks were separated from food, filet-o-fish were of normal quality like at other McDonald's and the fries were filled normally, then I would have given 5*****... So I deducted 1* for each mistake and forgive nicely meant 2**

I have no idea why it's done like this now, but it's annoying that people just press the orders to collect even though the things aren't ready for collection. All the people gather at the counter and want their order but all they say is "coming soon"... then don't press that it's ready to be picked up????? It sucks

They halve the cheese on the fish burger without saying a word

I enjoyed being here. But for a year now, when you have your food, homeless people immediately ask you if you have something to eat. I understand that people are hungry. But last time it was enough. I only had the food in 2 minutes. Someone comes again and without asking wanted to take my little son's food away on the grounds that my son wasn't hungry. My son has a disability, which you can see. He got really scared. The staff didn't care at all. They just said they have to watch their food. No thanks because I avoid this restaurant.

Machines to order were turned off for no reason so we had to order at the counter and the lady overcharged us for coffee. More so, they made our order wrong. We didn’t have time to correct them as we had to rush to the train. What a disappointment.

Too bad they only put 4 chicken nuggets in the box for 6 chicken nuggets, as ordered… From my last visit I asked an employee to repeat the order number, as I’m not a German native and not speaking the language perfectly. She nicely did and I picked up my order straight away. However another employee stopped me and told me « just remove your headphones next time » in a very passive/aggressive way. I explained that I have no sounds in and just a bad German that why I asked to confirm the number. Feedback: « I don’t care, learn German and remove your headphones ». Come on…

Now that I've gotten to know another, poorly run MacDonald's in another city, I can only praise my local restaurant at Gesundbrunnen. Well, you have to wait, but there is a lot going on at the transfer station. But then there are fresh burgers from the friendly service staff.

No charging options, screaming staff, like in the barracks, no toilets.

You can't eat there in peace, you're constantly being asked for money and something to eat.
