McDonald's in Füssen

The food was good. The Fanta was extremely watery and only about 0.4 liters were poured instead of 0.5. However, when we complained, the problem was already known, and we received two new Fantas. Now, in the colder months, you have to sit inside wearing a jacket and scarf because it's drafty and only about 15 degrees Celsius in the restaurant. The benches and chairs are uncomfortably cold.

I'm honestly really disappointed. I ordered a McPlant, which apparently wasn't even available anymore – instead, I was offered a "different McPlant product." I took that one, but when I got home, I discovered that I'd received a cherry turnover instead of the burger. This isn't the first time something like this has happened to me. Especially at the drive-thru, mistakes seem to happen regularly. It's absolutely outrageous to sell customers something they didn't order or simply pack them incorrectly. These days, you practically have to check every single product before you drive off, otherwise you can't be sure you'll get the right one. Very disappointing and definitely needs improvement.

The place was dingy, with half-empty trays everywhere. I didn't know you could mess up a burger and fries, but apparently you can: lukewarm and unsalted fries. The worst branch I've ever seen. At least it was quick and I was out of there fast.

We were only there for a cappuccino, but what immediately stood out was that it was the cleanest McDonald's I'd seen in a long time.

Today I went to this McDonald's and placed an order. I noticed that the person preparing my food wasn't wearing gloves. I was later told that this was allowed. Fine – but in addition, the person had a wound on their hand, which was only covered with a bandage. I consider it completely unacceptable to prepare food in such a restaurant with an open wound on their hand. When I pointed this out, they offered to prepare my order again. However, the new order was prepared by the same person!

The restrooms were disgustingly dirty. The 3.6 stars speak for themselves.

We visited the branch twice while passing through with kids: around lunch in 2024 and in the evening in 2025. The staff was very friendly. We ordered a table and hardly had to wait. The outdoor area is very nice. We found it reasonably clean, including the restrooms (it's extremely busy during the holiday season, and if everyone leaves their seat as they found it, think about that ;). Regarding the food – as always with McDonald's: prices are reasonable, and it's a fast-food restaurant. We'll be happy to come back.

Shop of Horrors I was in a hurry and ordered a McChicken Classic for my little daughter – instead, I got a chicken burger with chili sauce. The employees barely spoke German, so they apparently couldn't understand me. Unfortunately, we were already on our way when I noticed. My daughter felt sick in the car from the hot sauce. I wished I could turn around, but we still had a long way to go. That's just not possible!

The location is really big, food came quickly and tasted a lot better than in other McDonalds locations, really nice!

Eating at McDonald's is (seemingly) getting more and more expensive, the bag with the lattice potatoes was "sparingly" filled and there were fries at the bottom and the Samurai Mac was a disgrace for 12.99€ with a burger patty, a bit of onion and sauce with fries and a drink in the menu (price/performance).

When I'm in the area, I come here just for the Double Chili Cheeseburger, which was my absolute favorite. Today I discovered it's no longer on the menu. For me, that was the only reason to come here. It's really annoying these days that the burgers are practically thrown together in most cases. And that's despite prices that have doubled in the last three years or so. These days, any burger joint with a fresh, homemade burger is almost cheaper than McDonald's. Oh, and I also find it unacceptable that almost every order isn't executed correctly. Hello, It was Absolutely not what I ordered as you can see in the picture... I checked if everything was there, it was looking like it... I didn't see that my Fanta was a coca, my ice cream is not with the right topping, there is no bacon in my big tasty bacon... The girls at the counter are amazingly rude, absolutely not commercial. My order took over 35 min to arrived and it was not even what I ordered. I'm not expecting a lot from a McDonald's but that's even more desapointing that expected. I hope you will change your staff before busy season cause it's a shame. It's low season be professional please. Oh and I almost forgot to say, if you don't speak English they will absolutely not talking to you so avoid to go there. Even hello or sorry is not in their vocabulary. Have a good day !
