McDonald's in Wesel

I tried to redeem coupons at the McDrive. The "nice" lady couldn't add them and directed me to a second screen to say it still wasn't working and she was blocked from placing orders. For the second time, my paid order at the McDonald's drive-thru was incomplete. Today, both the burger I ordered and the mayo that comes with the meal were missing. Two previous orders, the hamburgers I paid for were also missing. On top of that, they are unreachable by phone. (I called several times without anyone answering.)

There's not much to say. McDonald's restaurants are (almost) all identical, and the food is virtually the same worldwide, with only a few exceptions. The food was fresh and hot, and the staff were friendly. Despite the large crowd, the food arrived at our table relatively quickly.

Ordered through Lieferando and received the wrong order. Consequently, I overpaid. Tried calling but no one answered. Absolutely outrageous!

Unfortunately, the service has deteriorated significantly. The food is still good quality, but the service leaves much to be desired 👎. There are no more napkins on the trays, and everything else has become very impersonal. If you want to order at the counter, you feel like an outsider. It feels like there are 15 employees – and nobody seems to care...🙄 So, it's back to the ordering kiosk and ordering with table service 🙄. It's a real shame how a single crew can turn the whole thing so negatively.

I placed an order via the app. Due to a glitch, I didn't receive a pickup code, but the amount was still debited. At the counter, I explained the problem and showed them the invoice I had received by email. Instead of helping me, the employee and the shift supervisor explained how the app works. As a long-time McDonald's customer who regularly orders via the app (the employees could have seen this from the loyalty points in the app), I felt cheated. The icing on the cake was the employee who told me that she herself didn't know the app because she doesn't order from McDonald's, and certainly not via the app. That's what I call a service desert for long-time customers. Unfortunately, there's no option for negative points or zero points.

Unfortunately, our visit was extremely disappointing. We had to wait 45 minutes for our food, even though we asked twice. There was no apology. The cashier didn't speak German, which made ordering even more difficult. The ice cream we ordered later also took a very long time, even though the display showed it as "ready for pickup." The employee in charge seemed overwhelmed and very slow. Overall, this was one of the worst McDonald's experiences we've ever had. We definitely do not recommend it.

McDonald's is an absolute disaster. Go to Burger King instead.

Due to the air conditioning above our table, the food got cold even faster than usual. The filet-o-fish, as always, had too little sauce... What a shame... The service was friendly and quick 👍

After the renovation, it looks good. Fries are 90% cold. Nuggets are 60% cold. It's getting worse and worse.

I must have been there at a bad time. It was packed, and at first I wanted to stand in the drive-thru line. There was no way around it. Then, with some luck, I found a parking space. Inside, it was packed. After I entered my order into the computer, I had to wait about 20 minutes for my food. To make matters worse, they forgot to pack my mayonnaise.

Simply amazing. Any snack, whether late night or lunch, is always a good idea.

I was there last night for a snack. I had the chicken wrap, and the meat inside was a bit dry, but the staff were generally friendly and helpful. Perhaps it was because it was late, but the restrooms weren't very clean.

We had the food brought to our table. The lady who brought us the food was very friendly. She came over every now and then to ask if everything was okay and if we liked our food. We've rarely been served so courteously, kindly, and friendly in a McDonald's. I felt very comfortable there. And that's why I gave it 5 stars overall.

We've been there several times over the past few years, but unfortunately, it's not getting any better! The food comes relatively quickly, but the fries and nuggets are almost cold. Table hygiene leaves a lot to be desired, and the clearing stations are overflowing with every visit. The staff can't even say hello, even when you greet them in a friendly manner, which is a shame!

Food as you'd expect from McDonald's. As long as it's not busy, they usually manage to get everything they need. Unfortunately, in the past, there have been frequent instances where orders were incomplete. When I complained, they were always very accommodating and corrected the mistake. Still, only 4 stars.

So I'm revising my review. It's now the most disgusting McDonald's I've ever been to. Tables apparently aren't cleaned, and you have to deal with the leftovers of the person before you (this applies to all tables inside). If you want to go to the toilet, you have to walk through a puddle of urine. You don't dare touch it. They should think about their cleaning staff. The only positive thing was that the cashier was very nice and friendly, and that I didn't have to piece my burger together this time.

I only went inside to use the restroom. We were in the McDonald's drive-thru. They were out of soap, so I washed my hands in the baby area. The restroom was spotlessly clean, by the way. The restaurant was packed and had a pleasant atmosphere. And finally, the most important thing... the food. The "big tasty" was huge, and the bun was soft and delicious.

It's often dirty, but the food is delicious.

Haven't been there for a while but everything was the same... cold fries, everything just thrown in the bag and organizational chaos at the drive-thru... I'd rather go back to King ;-)

Pleasant staff Food is just food

Like many other McDonald's stores. Below average.

Whether at the restaurant or at the drive-up, something's always missing. I've rarely experienced a complete order. We've had to sit in the parking lot several times because the drive-up was so busy (we ate inside). There's no way to get out of there.

The ice cream machine has been broken for ages. You should put up a sign outside the drive-thru saying, "No ice cream today."

The dirty toilets make you lose your appetite. And at 11 a.m., it's unacceptable that the entire floor is covered in pee, not to mention the rest of it.

The fries were almost cold. We ordered two Coca-Colas, one regular and one Zero. Both were served in identical cups. The staff were friendly and helpful.

We've been to Wesel several times now and visited the McDonald's Wesel branch several times. The food was prepared quickly and was fresh and hot. Unfortunately, on each visit, we noticed that despite a large number of staff, table hygiene was not being maintained. All the tables were dirty from the previous customer and had not been cleaned. Behind the counter, too, it seemed uncoordinated, and the staff didn't seem to work together. The manager/team leader helped and tried to coordinate the staff. Perhaps it was a shift with new employees, but I can't give it more stars. P.S. The access to the branch (industrial park) is very confusing for new customers. Additional signage would be helpful.

A 10-minute drive for an ice cream... of course the ice cream machine is broken. Communicate it directly in the app!

Unfortunately, there have been payment shortages for the last three orders at the MC Drive-Thru. One time, a can of Fanta was missing, another time, an ice cream... I'm not sure if this was due to errors on the part of the people involved in the operational business or if it was intentional.

I only had a coffee, so I can't comment on the food. Plenty of seating available.

A 25-minute wait at the McDonald's Drive-Thru for an iced matcha latte and a chocolate milkshake with chocolate sauce... Well, when it was finally our turn, it wasn't an iced matcha latte anymore, but a regular matcha that just tasted like water. Oh, and the chocolate milkshake with chocolate sauce was a vanilla milkshake without chocolate sauce. Seriously, McDonald's Wesel, how can you screw up so badly?

The ice cream machine has been out of service for several weeks. This makes it impossible to sample ice cream products or special offers containing ice cream. What's particularly annoying is that new promotions are constantly being advertised that are then simply not available to customers. It seems as if the restaurant manager is unable to resolve this problem in a timely manner. For a company like McDonald's, which stands for consistent quality and availability of its products, this is a very unsatisfactory situation.

It's disgusting how covered up everything is in front of and inside the store. The drive-thru is also rubbish. The wait time is longer than in a restaurant.

I've experienced a lot, but what happened to me at this McDonald's branch was the last straw. An employee there behaved so rudely that, as a customer, you seriously wonder if anyone there is still in control. Every time, you feel like you're a burden instead of a paying customer. You go to McDonald's because you expect fast service—but here, at most, you get a free dose of bad humor. And the next annoyance: the ice cream machine. Every time you want to order ice cream, they say it's supposedly "broken." Coincidentally, this always happens when this employee is at the counter. Honestly, nobody believes that anymore. It seems like a cheap excuse to get out of work. The whole thing borders on a rip-off and ruins trust in the entire store. For me, this behavior is a disgrace to the McDonald's brand. From a global corporation, I expect employees to be trained and supervised to ensure that customers are treated with respect. What's happening here is the exact opposite: You're laughed at, kept waiting, and treated disrespectfully. My conclusion: This store has managed to make me truly angry and disappointed. Anyone who throws customers' change into their cars clearly demonstrates that they have no business doing this job. I can only hope that consequences will finally be taken, because in this state, this store is seriously damaging McDonald's reputation. As long as nothing changes there, I will avoid this location – and advise everyone else against it.

Extremely unfriendly staff, I've rarely experienced anything like that... They haven't been able to get McFlurrys for two months now because everything is broken and no one cares about repairs or replacements. It's just ridiculous.

Standard Mecces with standard problems

It's truly a nightmare. Every time I want to get ice cream, the ice cream maker is broken. This can't be normal. It's like winning the lottery that this thing actually works. I'm sure I'm not the only one who's had this happen to me.

Unfortunately, McDonald's is getting more and more expensive. The fish mac, the "best" one, has become so small. And that's for the price. Outrageous!

Ordering only at the terminals is absolutely disappointing. Better to go to Bocholt, where you can also order at the kiosk/counter.

My husband ordered a MC Crispy Small Meal, the MC Crispy without mustard sauce, and I got it with mustard sauce. The fries were half-raw. And the burger looked like crap. You could tell it was made in a hurry, with lettuce in the wrapper but barely anything on the burger. It's outrageous. I'm not going back to this place!!!

We were there today on a Friday afternoon. One burger was missing a salad, the tables and carts weren't cleared, and the tables were dirty, as were the benches. We won't be going there again.

We ordered food through Lieferando. It's been over an hour and a half. The food still hasn't been delivered, and no one is available by phone. Very poor service.

They always intentionally forget something. Whether it's pickles on their burgers, extra ingredients, or the toy for their happy meal. The latter has been forgotten five times. I've worked in chain restaurants and Michelin-starred kitchens myself; it can't be that difficult to pack five things into a happy meal bag!

Guys, either you get Lieferando sorted or you don't. But not this fuss. During the ordering process, you decide that you won't accept any orders. Ridiculous. Not cool at all.

I ordered a mc chicken menu and they forgot my chicken burger. Also they forgot all the mayonaise and put all the bbq sauce in the happy meals...

Once again you find yourself there in the evening and they tell you that the ice cream machine is being cleaned and the shop doesn't close for another four hours. Unfortunately, that's what I call zero customer service!!!

That was the best McDonald's I've ever eaten at. The food was so good. I can only recommend the chicken blake mack. The service was very, very good and so friendly. We had a problem and a man took care of it straight away. At the end of the order we even got a toy. Simply the best. The tables were cleaned and the toilets also looked well tidied. The curly fries had the crunch they should have and the sauce left a taste explosion in my mouth. I can only recommend McDonald's.

Ordered vegan nuggets and got real ones. What a nerve! Never again!

Absolutely not recommended. The restaurant is filthy. We ordered 20 nuggets and sauce. The nuggets were soaked with grease, so the whole table was covered in grease. They also had no flavor and were wobbly. If it hadn't been so busy, I would have complained. That's enough for another year.

Fobbed off. Today at 4 p.m., I decided I was in the mood for McDonald's. I greeted everyone at the checkout counter at the McDonald's in Wesel (the only checkout) and started my order. The shift manager (judging by her clothing) waved me off, very directly, unfriendly, and completely listless, and pointed me to the "kiosk" with a "not here" (I think she was referring to the self-service terminals). So I said goodbye with the words, "Then I'll just go again." I don't know what else was called after me, but I don't care. Somehow, I can't imagine that this kind of employee behavior is in the interests of the parent company; I certainly won't be seeing such a fobbling and unfriendly branch again.

We ordered three meals, and they forgot the drink for one meal and the toy for the other. It was very quiet, yet the employees were clearly overwhelmed. Please check everything carefully at the drive-thru to make sure you have everything.

Delivery is getting worse and worse, now even with Paypal fees (transaction costs) that the customer (WE) can pay. In addition, every dish, every item, when delivered, is more expensive than in a store and on top of that there are delivery fees... ...this means that the order can easily cost 12 EURO more...just because you order and it should be delivered....WoWWW please take over from McDonals Munich. On a Saturday afternoon it was busy, but not too busy. Unfortunately, the tray carts weren't cleared away and the tables weren't cleaned, so you had to look for a clean place and then somehow stack the trays on the cart. I suspect there is a temporary staff shortage. Otherwise the food was good.

I met him for the first time in Mc, so it was difficult to communicate in English, the serving lady was a punishment, and the smiling face in the kitchen kept checking to see if I was watching what she was doing. after tasting the food, I threw it in the trash. Employees can be friendly even on Saturday nights. Absolutely bad-tempered, shouting at each other. Fries were cold. All the sauces were forgotten. It was pretty cheeky. I wonder if the boss himself would still go there as a customer.

Very good, missing parts were promptly delivered when ordered from outside the company. Plus, the compensation was top-notch service and a big compliment.
