Lucky find in the Airport Marriott. Excellent food! Bruno was very helpful and knowledgeable, great traditional German beer and food, good wine selection too!! Very pleased with the experience!

Average. Located in the Marriott, this restaurant has a nice ambiance, and started out with great, fast service. Ultimately, the food was very average, especially for the cost. Schnitzel was okay. Strudel at 12 euros was incredibly average and overpriced. I was almost shocked. Still, convenient option if you don't want to venture outside the hotel. Service was very friendly and fast.

This is a cozy restaurant located in the Marriott hotel. On a Thursday night it was almost exclusively single travelers dining, all of whom I imagine were staying in the hotel. The service was very warm and helpful. Food was good too!

Der Service war freundlich, aber insgesamt leider nicht sehr aufmerksam. Der separat bestellte Beilagen-Salat wurde gar nicht erst gebracht. Anmerken konnte man das aber auch nicht wirklich, denn nachdem zu den Pommes noch Ketschup und Mayo (im Tütchen und im kleinen Glas) gereicht wurden, kümmerte sich die Bedienung nicht mehr wirklich um uns. Positiv aufgefallen ist jedoch, dass die Dame auch mit mir als Rollstuhlfahrer gesprochen hat und nicht über mich mit meiner Begleitung. (Sie wundern sich, dass ich das extra erwähnen muss? Passiert leider auch im Jahr 2021 in Deutschland immer noch...) Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis bei den Speisen ist jedoch tatsächlich unverschämt. Natürlich handelt es sich hier um ein Hotel-Restaurant. Also sind die Preise hier etwas höher. Aber was hier abgeliefert wird, geht trotzdem nicht. Das Wiener Schnitzel für 27,- Euro war etwa nur handgroß. Dazu eine Zitronenspalte, Pommes in einer Tüte (was ich ja grundsätzlich noch als fancy durchgehen lasse, aber eben nicht zum Ambiente hier passt) und ein „Gurkensalat“. Die Pommes waren klassische TK-Ware. Nicht sonderlich schlecht, aber auch nicht außergewöhnlich gut. Bei dem „Salat" handelte es sich um ein Schälchen, das bis zum Rand mit Joghurtdressing gefüllt war. Daraus konnte man dann ein paar Gurkenscheiben herausfischen. Zu sagen, das Essen sei auf dem Teller angerichtet gewesen, wäre übertrieben. Es lag eben darauf. Keine weitere Dekoration. Die Pilzcremesuppe war eine Pilzcremesuppe. Nicht mehr und nicht weniger. Das Dessert (Schokokuchen mit Eis und Beeren), war tatsächlich das beste. Wenngleich sicher auch nicht hausgemacht. Das sagt eigentlich alles … Zugute halten muss man, dass man beim Auschecken des zugehörigen Hotels tatsächlich an der Kritik interessiert schien. Am nächsten Abend haben wir uns etwas vom Lieferdienst aufs Zimmer bestellt. War besser und deutlich günstiger.

Firstly, I best qualify that I am no expert in German cuisine but I thought this place served quite an exceptional fare. Ambiance was that of a bavarian restaurant - some may say it's tacky - and cosy. Seating is somewhat limited but it shouldn't be too difficult. We visited during midweek andwere the first when it opened it doors and there was another 3 other group of diners by the time we left. We were allowed to bring the drinks we had earlier order from the bar into the restaurant. We ordered the Baby Pork Saddle and Rack of Lamb. Both were exceptional though the lamb should get special mention. We have been touring Germany for a few days and it was not easy finding lamb on the menu. Even then, it wouldn't be done well. Maybe it was a case where I was "porked" out and had withdrawal symptoms of pork but I really enjoyed the lamb and felt it was executed extremely well! The meat was cooked just right and was tender. A place worth considering especially if you're too lazy to get out of the hotel to look for a nice meal.
