Gasthaus Johann König in Freising

I've been there twice. Once for breakfast, once in the afternoon. Both times the food was very tasty. I like to pay reasonable prices for good quality, so I think the prices are okay. The ingredients were all freshly prepared, no convenience or ready-made sauce. My motto is that I would rather have a small menu with fresh dishes than loads of frozen food and Dimu lives up to that. The service was always extremely nice and attentive. Thank you!

Et Cetera is a very nice and interesting restaurant in the center of Freising with the flair of a student bar. We found the food and service excellent.

The best Asian restaurant in Freising. The food is very good in the evening and "usually" satisfactory at lunch (even on Saturdays). Service is very polite, although the owner can be a bit grumpy at times. The ambiance has been very good since the renovation, as you can sit comfortably and are no longer eating next to strangers.

While I've eaten here before on previous trips and enjoyed it, this time was the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant and it was due to an amazingly rude, insulting waiter. At first he told us he didn't have any English menus and we said okay, we'll try to figure it out with google translate. Then when we had a couple of questions he very rudely told us we needed to stick with German standards like schnitzel and the dishes we were asking about weren't for Americans - then he took our German menus and stomped off. We were flabbergasted and promptly left and took our business to another restaurant down the street that was delicious and friendly. I travel to Freising frequently since my company is one of the largest employers in town and I will never go back to this restaurant and will be sure and give this feedback to my colleagues. I love visiting Freising and fortunately there are plenty of good restaurants serving all kinds of food so I don't have to put up with this customer-hostile service.

The seating is incredibly good as is the service both for delivery and on site, authentic and large portions
