Beautifully located in Freising's city center. We had a drink here and had a very pleasant seating. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the place makes a very well-kept and inviting impression both inside and out. Highly recommended!

I had to wait a long time to be served. The waiter, seeing I didn't speak German, treated me rudely, and every time I wanted another beer, they took a long time to come to my table. I found them to be cordial and attentive to tables that order large quantities and are German, but I felt a bit discriminated against with foreigners. I didn't like the service.

Very satisfied! The staff was always friendly and took care of any requests immediately, even though there were many guests. The food was also very tasty.

We were seated in their outdoor beer garden on the street in Freising’s old town on a beautiful July evening. We’re a family of four, all vegetarian, and were pleasantly surprised at all the vegetarian options on the menu. Everything we ordered was delicious. They have menus in English as well as German which is really thoughtful for tourists.

Rustic, Bavarian, simply good! Fun and friendly service, just like you'd expect from a real Bavarian inn! The beer is great, the food authentic and truly delicious. The location is very cozy both inside and outside – you immediately feel at home. We'll definitely be back!

Third attempt in Freising: finally top-notch. Service attentive, fast, and very friendly. The burgers are absolutely fantastic, one of the best I've ever had. The cheese spaetzle is very creamy but still good. Prices are reasonable. The seating is nice outside, with music provided by three squeezebox musicians.

While I've eaten here before on previous trips and enjoyed it, this time was the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant and it was due to an amazingly rude, insulting waiter. At first he told us he didn't have any English menus and we said okay, we'll try to figure it out with google translate. Then when we had a couple of questions he very rudely told us we needed to stick with German standards like schnitzel and the dishes we were asking about weren't for Americans - then he took our German menus and stomped off. We were flabbergasted and promptly left and took our business to another restaurant down the street that was delicious and friendly. I travel to Freising frequently since my company is one of the largest employers in town and I will never go back to this restaurant and will be sure and give this feedback to my colleagues. I love visiting Freising and fortunately there are plenty of good restaurants serving all kinds of food so I don't have to put up with this customer-hostile service.

Sat outside. Just got our food when it started raining like crazy! Our waiter was pretty good, the staff recovered quickly from the melee. Helles and dunkle beers good. Got the vegan (sweet potato based) burger, which was really nice. Wife got a nice salad, kids got the vegan burger, and the spinach pasta.

Great place in a small town Fritzer in the suburbs of Munich. Here you can try the famous Oktoberfest beer Augustinerbrau. We tried the bourguignon on their beer. It was great. Cozy atmosphere in the restaurant, where mostly locals come.

Bus with 40 people. The food and service were good. Paying at the counter was poor. One meal wasn't fully booked and so the balance was still open at the end. I paid as the tour guide, but the cash register didn't work for the first customer. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find out until I was on the bus. So I paid €21.40 too much. Unfortunately, no apology despite an email.

I had dinner by myself here a few weeks ago. Charming place, food was good but the server was neither attentive or kind. When he brought me my check he told me two times “the tip is not included”! Ok, I get it, I’m an American and he wanted a tip. I absolutely planned to tip him and I did but him practically demanding one (that’s how it felt) was quite unpleasant.

The food was freshly prepared and delicious! We'd be back!!!

Classic Bavarian restaurant with very good cuisine and great service

We didn't have a reservation on Mother's Day, but we still managed to get a seat. The food came quickly, including our second order, and it was delicious.

It's just different.. Regardless of gourmet food, it's beer. It's objectively different. The unique combination of savory flavor and richness, which is very difficult to find in Korea, but with a low alcohol flavor is attractive. It's not that you can't drink, but if you don't drink, just order it. Still, the drink doesn’t taste good? Order it Radler. I'm someone who doesn't normally drink alcohol, but whenever I come here, I always order 2 liters and drink it. I heard you came to Seoul once, but why did you leave?

Wasn't really planning on eating lunch here but was hungry and decided to try it out. I'm glad I did! I ordered the schnitzel and it was very good. The staff's welcoming greetings, professionalism, and overall good service added a lot to my enjoyment over lunch. They even had a little dog who was cute as he asked for food at each table. Glad I got to enjoy the place.

We sat on the 1st floor. It was ok but very loud. A normal conversation is hardly possible.

Me and a few work colleagues went here twice within a couple of days. Once.for just beer, then last night for food. The staff are very friendly and efficient, and helpfully told me I didn't need the extra bread dumpling because the portions were big enough. I had the roast pork with crackling, potato dumpling and cabbage salad in a beer gravy. Beautiful, tasty, hearty stuff. The beer is good as you'd expect. The prices aren't ridiculous either. The only thing that let it down for me were really uncomfortable modern looking chairs and tables which didn't really fit in with what I presume is a really old and historic building

Das Lokal selber ist wirklich schön. Das Essen hingegen ein Kraus. Der Krustenbraten war keiner, es war einfach ein ganz normaler, allerdings verkochter Schweinebraten mit einer undefinierbaren komplett versalzenen Soße. Dem Kellner war das egal. Dazu kommt, dass nach dem Essen gleich für die nächsten Gäste der Besteckkrug hingestellt wurde, sozusagen ein indirekter Hinweis, das man ja jetzt auch gehen könnte. Ich habe schon ganz lange nicht mehr so schlecht gegessen.

Excelent experience! We had a wonderful time at this restaurant. The staff was very very well spirited and accommodating. The food was also very yummy, with interesting variations of classical German dishes such as tomato Spätzle with goat cheese and pear. Recommended!

Everything was good so far, but unfortunately the spices were missing everywhere (fried potatoes, gravy, Wienerschnitzel, roast beef). We'll still come back and try it again!

Was man bei einem Schweinebraten und einem Biergulasch falsch machen kann (und das in Bayern) werde ich nie verstehen! Über die Wartezeit kann man hinwegsehen, der Ober war freundlich. Beim Schweinebraten für 14,87€, Soße schmeckte wie aus dem Päckchen und zu salzig, das Fleisch war ungenießbar. Das Biergulasch für 18,90€, das Fleisch war zäh und die Soße zu salzig. Von uns keine Empfehlung und nie wieder. Schade!

We came here after our bags into MUC got delayed by a couple hours, and we wanted to stay in the area of the airport. As a result, I didn't have my coat and it was cold and rainy outside. Our server, Stefan, and the bartender, Lucas, were both the most wonderfully hospitable people I've met in a long time. When my data didn't work to track our bags Stefan gave me his personal hotspot, and they later gave us an umbrella knowing we wouldn't be able to return it, seeing my coatless status and the rain outside. The atmosphere was hopping and lively on a Sunday afternoon, it seemed to mainly be locals, and the food was wonderful. Flavorful, well made, and interesting options. Traditional Bavarian cuisine from what I could tell, but I'm not a good source for that. Just overall a wonderful warm welcome to the country.

I don't understand the exuberance at all. It's much more expensive than in Salzburg, so the chef should go for additional training. Salt is the favorite spice. I travel around a lot and wasn't impressed at all. Such high prices mean great quality.

Der Augustiner in der Stadtmitte ist ein typisches gutes Augustinerlokal. Bei gutem Wetter sitzt man schön vor dem Lokal, innen gibt es eine Reihe rustikaler Gasträume. Das Essen ist bayrisch geprägt, es gibt aber auch moderne leichte Gerichte. Zum Trinken natürlich das gute Augustinerbier.
