I didn't have the care to pay for food for three, but I had to pay for two tickets. I appealed to Frau to return one of the tickets, but was refused. He told her everything in German, clearly!!! And everything is wonderful!!!

Very tasty food in the restaurant, at a top price-performance ratio for a truck stop. Paid €46 for a 250g onion schnitzel with fries, 250g spaghetti Bolognese schnitzel and 2 non-alcoholic drinks. The portions are very generous, it is tasty and hot and freshly prepared. Price-performance ratio is 100%. The only tiny downside: the bacon beans were cold and the bacon was initially seasoned with thyme. The service was very friendly and attentive. The food came to the table in about a 15 minute wait. The restaurant (tables, floor, cutlery, glasses etc.) was very clean. We will be back!

But now: The “large salad with tuna and egg” we ordered (costs €16.20 according to the menu) was a blast!!! As you can see on the menu in the picture, a salad bowl is shown that is at least well filled. I only got the salad in this bowl half full! When the service lady asked me that this was not what it was shown on the menu, she explained to me in a friendly but firm manner that this would be the normal portion size given to her from “above”! Unfortunately all I can say is, never thank you again!!!

Spirii charging stations are both semi-defective (both can only handle one charging process at a time, which turns 4 charging spaces into 2). In Burger King, only 2 of the 5 ordering terminals work, so you have to wait. The toilets were OK.

I experience that I am charged a “top price” for a normal milk coffee!! Do you really think you can get a business like that up and running?

The rest area on the A7 is very narrow, especially in the area of ​​the gas pumps. An adapter, which is unusual in Germany, is required at the LPG pump. Another gas pump was broken, which was only apparent from a note when you were already standing there. The price of LPG is around 30% higher than at other motorway service stations (as of May 2014). Trailers have to maneuver even though there isn't enough space to do so, and traffic routing is suboptimal and sometimes only controlled by pylons and not clearly regulated. Unfortunately everything seems a bit overcrowded.
